Great story, quite different from the usual D&D fare. Good job on the DM work, especially given the wide variety of the players' approaches to their character in game. Would play with Arawen and Dezran again.

Let me say wow. You are tops. That was a great game. And heck, what an adventure. I have to say, that was one of the better adventures I have played in.

  Nifty(TM)(R)(C).

-hampered slightly by lack of one GM out of two, but still managed to move smoothly. -cliffhanger! Ended on a cliffhanger! I await a sequel with baited breath. ^_^ -Really good job. Kudos all around.

Simply amazing work Arawen, especially the fact that you were soloing it as a DM for the majority of the time. I plan to play with you again in the near future! Maybe next time I won't play such a jerk. :-)

Absolutely fantastic DM'ing job. You should give yourselves a pat on the back! Well done!

Truly excellent job at pacing the module to keep the plot moving at a good pace. Never a dull moment, but never seemed rushed. Great plot and cliffhanger ending. I am looking foward to the next installment.

A fantastic game through and through as Arawen and Dezran did great job completing this first chapter. The drawback was the time it took to finish but sometimes RL can get in the way but I'm very glad I stuck with it. The finish was poignant and touching as well as exciting to boot. In the end, all I can say is I am definitely looking forward to Chapter 2 -Tarridus

The Planewalkers: Dreamland module ended on a high note, with the party experiencing creative twists and events that one would hope to see in this kind of unique setting. Arawen and Dezran through their roleplay managed to give in-game occurences different layers of meaning, something you would expect in a high-class fantasy novel focusing on character development and the human condition. Miscommunication regarding the status of the party's adversary Tol at the end was unfortunate, but didn't ruin the overall tone of the session. The encounters with Simon's (dream) father were standouts and the DMs interacted with each PC individually, making the experience special for each. Congratulations to Arawen for having her vision come alive. --Carlo

I really enjoyed the finale to this adventure.

As a group we hadn't played for a long time but it was very easy to slip back into the mix. The DMs do an excellent job with the NPCs and really allow the party to control the experience. An example was trying to free Simon from the Law Bringers. One of them picked up on a throw away comment about fairy tales and it was this that we used to finally persuade them to release the captice...classic stuff!

The smaller number of players really allowed everyone to shine as well. We had all invested a lot of time in this series and this really paid off by being able to have a great finale.

This session, first after a long break, was well-paced and had events of interest for all the PCs; the encounter with the great eagle was of particular interest to Sayf and was tailored explicitly to his background, making the session an important one for his development. The DM team did a fine job of handling multiple NPCs, allowing for the party to do more than one thing at a time, particularly useful in the Festhall. Felt that it may have been a little on the easy side dealing with the Cloud Dragon, but can't complain about the results. ;) --Carlo

Another really enjoyable session. Glad that the DM's forced the Mummy armour issue to a head, it allowed great role play from all involved.

I find myself being constanly surprised with this game. The ending this week was great!!

One area for improvement would be to try and force the players to work more strategically with their available resources. Currently we seem able to handle anything beacuse we throw everything we've got at a situation and then have rest opportunities straight after. We need to be punished if we make mistakes....I'm not talking death or anything but treasure being stolen, incapacitated characters. The dream world allows for anything to happen, perhaps we become insubstantial and can only interact verbally with situations. As I say we have no real motive for planning attacks and reserving our strength. With time being of the essence we should only be allowed ot rest if we REALLY need to. I appreciate this is the first running of thismodule so it might be easier to judge for the next group that play it through.

Still had a great time though!

What can I say? Very good game, extremely smooth; we steamrolled right over the very few glitches as if they never happened; DMs were prompt to correct any problems. DMs were also exceptional multitaskers, attending to several characters simultaneously with no noticeable delay. Plotwise, I loved the cursed armor- that was really inspired on the part of both the DMs and the players.

Except for a few technical hiccups, the game was excellent as usual. The setting is original and imaginative and our 3 DMs do a great job making the NPCs come alive. Can't wait until our next session.

Aside from the server problems this was a fun game! Its nice to be in the realm of hope and to see DMs RPing the Golden Goose!!

The trembling mine was great too and I love the 'classic' fairytale rip offs!!

I think we tend to get a little too much treasure for what we do (although I'm used to playing at a lower level so this may be the norm) and I find it annoying that we can use the shops in the DM lobby when clearly the setting (a boy's dream) should prohibit it! The party should be working together to take whatever treasure is of the most value and be forced to leave the rest behind, not sell it because we happen to be in a lobby area waiting to be shifted to the place we last left off. This ruins any immersion in the setting for me. Just my opinion!

That said, these DMs clearly put in a lot of work for us players and it really is appreciated. The new looting scripts have helped and you get a definite sense that the treasure that is available is carefully selected based on the party members.

Thank you I always have a great time....

I really enjoy this Dreamland setting that Arawen has created. The possibilities are endless. Just when we thought we'd have an easy ride in the Realm of Hope did we face a different set of problems (no-one taking us seriously and a dragon with a feline- complex), fantastic!

The DMs work well as a team and because there's 3 of them all bases are covered. Can't wait for next time!

Another thoroughly enjoyable session! Technical issues marred things slightly but we were able to get past them. A number of fantastically tense moments and settings really added to the experience. The forest of despair was great, I was genuinely frightened for my character. More please! As a new group the PCs are still unsure of everyone's role but I'm sure this will settle down as we become more accustomed to each other.

I must say that in 2 hours time, I thoroughly enjoyed myself for this first session. The locations were very nicely built, and the NPCs and story had a great flow and nice plot twists. And the other players were good roleplayers who did surprisingly well considering we were a new party. And although there were a few technical glitches (no surprise since its bound to happen the first time), it did not hinder the pace and I truly enjoyed myself. Well done Arawen and Dezran, and I get giddy at the thought of the campaign getting better as we go along.

Admitedly my first DMed game, I enjoyed the move away from persistant worlds and the likes.

Fun and smooth, not complicated and not full of glitches, with still enough freedom to do what we wanted and still get harrased by cillage guards for it at the end.

A fine ending to a great chapter. You DM's did an excellent job of letting us players lead the plot and at the same time sheparding us in the right direction.

Well done, we are all looking forward to the start of the next chapter.

Actually hearing descriptions and such done out loud via Teamspeak took some adjustment for one who has never done PnP. But after I got used to the slightly surreal aspect of it, it was great fun and made for a vibrant feeling - though feedback and breaking up were a problem now and then.

The game itself was higly interesting. Wandering around in the black space of the astral plane was cool in and of itself. The plot choices were interesting and the few battles decidedly difficult and innovative.

Great job, guys.

Just a quick question -- when grading these it is always obvious that it should be all 10s, however, would you like me to continue doing this or would you like me to compare each session with each other. For instance, this session i could have rated lower in stability since some of you, including ZtG, got booted. Also, obviously not EVERY session is the best i ever played, so i could lower the ratings on the ones which i think were good but know you have had better sessions, saving the 10 rating for your absolute best. I guess it is just a matter of if you want feedback on your game or high ratings that you deserve!

Despite the Dm's claims of being out of it, this game flowed smoothly and was great fun. Zarsynn, don't be so hard on yourself.

Hey guys good game. Some real good RP . I do agree some players are more consistint than others. Some need more pushing to think OOTE but this group had shown it in the past. And hopefully all of us get to the game o time that is a big factor. This game/group/DM's are too good to be short changed on time. Thanksagins for the game . Jack

Great game! The guest appearances by Dezran and the rest were quite fun. I think the others got a bit more out of it, having been there for the first campaign, but I had a ball seeing them interact. The NPC's were all so distinct and interesting this game - it's really a strength both DM's manage to have. Great job guys.

The Timeout experiment went well I think, and will likely get smoother as we work out the kinks in the system. For someone who has no PnP experience, the change in the battle pace was both nice and different. I do think some battles - sneak attacks, random encounters - should be winged, so to speak, but the big battle worked very well. A great game from both Dm's, as usual.

Great time guys. Some of the best RP yet. I do like your idea about a timeout during battle. I think that would really make thngs more interesting. It would slow it down a bit but it would be worth it . I think the plot is the best yet. I will post some thoughts on the site and thanks for the best game of the week by far. Jack

An action-heavy game this time around, but still a good one. What roleplay we got in was well done, and though we didn't get to interact with many NPC's, the ones we did were quite fun. (The Wererat King, for one.) Great game as always from these two.

Great game guys! I loved the new areas with the new stuff from the HP. I did notice a lack of OTE thinking. The group was kind of all over the place. Drow was running ahead looking to kill all. I was trying to slow the group down , in the sewers when the gas all over the place . I was trying to get a rope and we all swing over the water , but someone said to cover your mouth and run through. I think the group was focused on the plot. Seems when we have good RP nights we get off plot a bit and when we are on plot we are a little off on RP. But dont get me wrong I loved the game. The group is great too. BTW The week of Aug 24 th I will be on vacation with my girlfriend so I will miss that weeks game. (First one I missed since the start of LoE ;)) Thanks again guys :)

It was great to have a big group back again, even if we kept losing poor Ken. We may have wandered off the plot a bit, but it was still a fun game. The Slayer's are interesting opponents, and the Mage NPC's are still kickass fun. Dez and ZtG always do a good job and try to make things fun for their players.   A great game tonight. The group seemed to gel well and the story - though it was a little sideplot I think - moved along but still gave us time to RP and fuss about doing stuff. A few near-death experiences in the beginning, but the Dm's were lenient this game - we were all rusty after two weeks maybe. ;) I liked the new placeables - even if I was the only one who could see them - they added a nice ambiance. Great game as always from these two.

Zarsynn the Grey and Dezran run a great game in a well realised world. Had some issues with being able to see placeables (which I think was me) and a weird Freaky Friday-esque avatar switch at an area transition, but it was an otherwise excellent game expereince. Loved the story of Antares and can't wait to see where the game goes next.

[Dezran's reply to comment: The switched bodies is a known NWN bug, and happens occasionally, hehe... We are still very puzzled as to the cause of the placeables issue. People in our Wednesday game are having the same problem. It is being worked on :)]

ZtG and Dez did an admirable job of side-tracking us for a game so we didn't run off and die doing something else. The SOU issues made the game start and end late, but that was understandable and not really their fault.

This was a bit of a slow game, but it was still enjoyable. The NPC's - the few we encountered - were as always well played, and getting to see a bit more of the city was fun in and of itself - I'd never seen the merchant's district and thought the shop names and such were great fun.

ZtG ,Dez great game I really like where the story is going . We (as a group) need to continue to try to strech out to OOTE . I think also that no real leader has emerged but this is fine we all have thoughts which can be very helpful. I am pissed that I missed a HP I could of added more RP in the rooms with the pictures. As always thanks for the best game of the week. -jack

We didn't get to see a lot of NPC posessing - the kind we get to talk with - always a strength of these two. But it was still a greatly fun game, and the encounter with Semriar was quite nifty too. Even with the deaths and the Hard-Headed players who insist on going places they shouldn't, it was still a great game, even if it wasn't the one ZtG had envisioned.

I am really enjoying this campaign. It has recharged my batteries after burning out pn it. Your ideas have sparked my own, and have restarted my own campaign. Keep up the good work. Hamkin the Just

ZtG - excellent as always, at least in my humble opinion. Had to ding you a bit on stability, but do not take it a miss. It was not really bad and not at all your fault. With all the work you and Dez put into this world, it is remarkable that you can keep it as stable as you do.

Even coming in late as I did, I still had a blast with this game. I like how Dez and ZtG make their players think, even when the players are Being Dense, or Overthinking, it's still fun.

Great game guys. I think this group needs time to grow and become more of a unit. I also think we need to try to think OOTE more(me the most).I like the fact of all the puzzles and riddles. Hope you ae feeling better ZtG. thanks for a great time guys -Jack

I enjoyed the variety in this game, which drew out each PC in turn: conversation that sketched out a very interesting but absent NPC, combat, exploration, and a puzzle as the party followed a trail of clues behind a past disaster.

Dez and Zarsynn work very well together. It's fun to try to figure out who is playing which NPC, 'cause they're seamless enough that it's genuinely difficult to tell. (Though I knew Death was Dez all the way. hee hee) As always, a hugely fun game.

I really enjoy this game. The plot is well designed and the puzzles thought out. Reminds me of the PnP days of old! Playing in this campaign has recharged my batteries, and revitalized me to sart building again, and restarting my own campaign. Keep up the good work. The only xomment I have is according to developers, it is recommended that area sizes not exceed 16 x 16 tiles, as load times can be a killer. But hey, with the story line, who really cares! Keep up the great work.

What can I say 10 across the board. Too bad Khendros and Zak had to drop out but hopefully will see them for CH 3.

Because it was my last game with zarsynn for an awfully long time, he was more than happy to let my character leave the part in an extremely dramatic manner. After some exploration, rest, and grave romping, we were able to figure out the mystery of sarcophogus using little clay hand molds. Maximillian was doom from the start. Being the headstrong leader of the group, he fearlessly leapt into the lower level of the crypt, only to face the warth of an evil mummy. After fruitless attempts by my teammates to resurrect me, I was then gifted with a small show from the DM's, and taken away for good. Max died honorably, and will be forever damned to the LoE Hell! Muahahahahaha!

Great game ZtG and Dez! We all had a blast and that was an excellent exit for Maxx who had to bow out of the game...

This DM team is capable of amazing games, though tonight's game was an exception. I found this game a little tedious. Roleplay consisted largely of talking to relatively flat NPCs, getting information, and following instructions. The party also spent large amounts of time just walking through the mod in ways that did not add to the story in my view. Exploration ocurred in largely empty areas and plot clues did not make much logical sense.

Great as always guys. The story has certainly grabbed my interest and I cannot wait until next week! T-S

Zarsynn has managed to create a great storyline. With new adventures on a continuing storyline, he's mananaged to flesh out a great world. Sith is but a small island, a drop in the bucket of a grander world. I look forward to exploring the deepening story, and I hope to see more of his ever sprawling world.

Overall a good start to Chapter 2. A bit disorganzed, but it's to be expected when starting a new game. I still think Sith has too many NPCs wandering around... at least the guard patrols. The only lag I experienced in-game was travelling through Sith alongside 10 or so guardsmen who constantly got in the way. Lotsa NPCs are fine, just make sure they're rooted to the spot! ;P ~Zak

Another great start guys! ZtG and Dez give the NPCs plenty of life and do not let us just have our way during RPing (e.g. the Sith guards). I am looking forward to next week! T-S

I enjoyed the dramatic start to chapter two, which interestingly involved entirely roleplay. The campaign will surely lead to many exciting further sessions.

Dez and Zarsynn work great together, and are both extremely nice and dedicated to giving everyone involved a great game. They did a really good job here, and ran a smooth game despite their protestations that it wasn't. (ONE misplaced Lich doesn't make the game bumpy, after all. ;) )

Game was fun, and the NPC's truly seemed to have different personalities. Look forward to the regular campaign. Oh, as a side note, the quiet times was because I had to field several phone calls during game as I am refinancing my house! I will be more vocal in the future....

Dez is a fun and original DM. His mini campaign took us through several interesting, and well detailed environments. He's a stickler for detail in areas sometimes, and though his scripting and triggers weren't perfect this time around, it was still fun. The game did start late because on of the characters wasn't save properly, and that situation had to be fixed. Overall the game was fun and very well paced.
