Game was interesting and fun with great opportunity to RP and a bit of combat to add excitement. The Planescape setting is very different from other settings and takes some getting used to. It's kinda like Road Warrior with magic. I felt that the DMs did an excellent job with keeping things moving and were very objective in thier playing of NPCs and skill checks. I would say that one of the encounters (you know which one) was probably a bit tough as we only survived by some DM interventino and the help of an NPC. That may have been calculated... may not have been... not sure. My only real complaint was not being given enough background. I do know know Planescape, so I did not RP in a "proper" way within the confines of the the setting, and therefrore was singled about a bit by the other party members. If I had understood the setting a bit more, I probably would have RPed a bit differently. I would suggest that a campaign setting guide be posted on the game page. Something more that what was offered for this session. Good job all around; however, and I am glad to have finally gotten the opportunity to play in an Arawen game.

Arawen and Valas did a fabulous job. Even though they ran the game on the fly, play was smooth and the feel immersive. Very fun!

Now here was a game that flowed so well together that it felt entirely organic. The stumbling upon the villain and the revelation felt completely and innocently accidental, because the player characters wanted to talk to the NPC in question anyway.
Maybe it was because the module was brilliantly set up to where All Roads Lead to Rome, so to speak as far as the plot was concerned, or maybe it was because the combination of coincidental Player Character intent and subtle DM guiding made everything move like clockwork, but this game have the best flow I have ever seen in an NWN game.
Whether you are planning to continue this in campaign form, or will just be hosting completely different modules, here's looking at you, Arawen and Valas.

Being able to play in the Planescape setting is simply awesome, in the true meaning of the word. The feeling of Sigil (at least as I remember it from PS:T) was captured very well, and certain areas such as the Mortuary were oustanding reflections of that. Area design was simple but effective, with a special feeling generated by both the atmosphere and the large variety of well-played NPCs. As this was the first running of the module, a few very minor points were overlooked in the heat of things, but it didn't affect the overall experience. One suggestion for the next running would be to find a way to integrate more of the end-plot along the way; a lot of information was thrown at the PCs at the end. My not-too-bright PC (in-character) didn't particularly care, but a more intellectual PC might have felt more frustrated trying to understand what was going on. In summary, a unique and outstanding game, which was thoroughly enjoyed. --Carlo

The game dynamics and creativity make this mod not only unique, but also incredibly fun. The DM's are fabulous. The NPC's are vibrant and alive. The whole mod itself seems to take on a true life setting. You feel like you are living your character when you play with these guys. I loved it and can't wait for next session.

One of the most awesome games I've played. I just lost my fiancee, brother, and student, and turned into a berserker because of it. All the new PRC classes make the game even more interesting. I think Vala's greatest strength as a dm is that his always looking for change. Many dms get repitive after a while, staying to one style. Valas though tries to put a new twist in the story.

As allways DM Valas and his new cohort Ravyn have made the surroundings where a PC and do just about anything. They shine on their NPC's, and the story seems to move smoothly from one section to the next. A well deserved addition to my DM List.

So we power on through the forset thick with orcs . . . who are getting more and more able. The only complaint I had was the one time our enemies spawned in right next to me in an area I sort of thought was already scouted. It was a shock. That moment however is far overshadowed by the wierdly cool timing of our 5 min break which saw me standing beside not one but two tough bad guys. That was fun but a bit unnerving.

Really fun game. nice job getting Tath to really really be ready to leave town, and force Soren into some face time. I think all new chars should have to debut unexpectedly and while the player is somewhat behind the sobriety curve . . . it was tons o'fun to be loud and boisterous and not really much complicated at all. It was hard but cool to switch between broken english and somewhat more grammatically correct orcish and elvish. Thanks for the stretch . . .

You know I was afraid that the dm was just going to throw dinosaur after dinosaur at us with no npc interaction. But they proved me wrong by having us go visit a village. Nice to know the dm is making sure we get just as much npc interaction as fighting. Hell I usually prefer more npc interaction.

Interesting game this week. Didnt' really know if I should trust Gregan with the crystal ball there. I still think he's up to something. Then there is Funga turning into a werewolf and attacking us and of course Kit and her pranks always getting us waist deep in city guards. Just keeps getting better and better. hehe

Good game. I wonder if what Kit said to Royce will affect the game. Will we find burnt out nightmask buildings and dead assassins.

Good game. Of course, that's what I'd be expected to say, being all in the middle of events and everything. I seemed to be a little dumb with some of the language and emote tools, and you didn't hold that against me, so thanks for that.

We ended up running into some mystery that needed solving. Had a dark atmosphere to it that I liked. I couldn't stay for the whole thing, but at least I had a chance to show off my flirting skills before I had to go.

Excellent job this time, loved the arena fights. Each fighter seemed to have a unique personality. Also enjoyed the setup for the cultist attack, really had my blood pumping as I tried to take on four of them at once.......plot seems to be moving along nicely now, can't wait until next time.

Not one of the best nights I played with K as dm. Most of the adventure involved walking through a forest and fighting. The beginning was interesting with talking to Spag, but that was pretty much the sum of interaction the group had with NPCs. After that it was pretty much following Justi's pointing finger and kill stuff. Just a suggestion, but perhaps it could be arranged so that we end up with some type of situation besides finding stuff to kill at least three times on a adventure. A npc to chat with who was crippled by the demon. Some innocent asking for protection from the orcs. Just something that doesn't make it your typical see monsters and kill situation.

This is truly one of the best campaigns I've ever played in. Its not a simple go fight monsters to get treasure sort of thing. They're always trying to give us more realistic problems like arrange marriages and ending up getting someone pregnant. Keep up the good work guys and don't stray from the way your dming this campaign. Boomer

Really good game. You responded to Kit well and kept the game flowing smoothly. Time flew by and it really felt like we had only been playing for 1 hour when you called time. I also felt Kit had more freedom to do what she needed to do perhaps due to the extra DM.

From what I've seen, this is an excellent game. The DMs obviously put a lot of work both in game design (pretty areas, envolving enviroment, good use of VFX), and a very interesting plot, with some character developing elements. Though my part was small, I certainly enjoyed being part of this.

Fantastic game. It was hard for you with three different groups to manage. You really need another DM. I guess Kit will be doing more things in secret as she tries to build up Niavias church. Also maybe I am just missing it but we never seem to find any treasure. Kit has apalling ac for an epic character. She also has very little money. I am sure it is all going to Gregan since he is able to buy houses.

An excellent session, balancing the time spent in town with the attack at the end very nicely. Only one point did lag pose a problem, during the foray before we entered the tunnel. Very nicely done, I only wish more of our fellows could have been there. -Pb

I can't believe the amount of detail you put into Westgate. You've really outdone yourself on this one. I enjoyed the werewolf quest but I still can't decide whether Gran wanted to infect us and make us join him or if he was just tired and wanted to be put out of his misery. I'd like to believe it was at least a little bit of the later. Like he had a deathwish but couldn't bring himself to actually end his own life. I guess we'll never know. I also must say that the group is getting funner and funner to play off. Not that the players were ever anything other than top notch, but Sam and Funga do make excellant additions to our group.

Fantastic game as always. Slightly marred by the repeat crashing when in the hidden domain. Seems to be a bug in 1.61. How things would have changed if that hadnt happened. Perhaps Kit casting stoneskin on the demons would have turned things in her favor. Oh well...

Pros- Dms are very flexible and seem to try everything they can to work beyond the nwn engine. Whether its having players using a scrying staff or summoning celestrial beings to answer questions. And the npcs are always interesting. cons- Found none yet, heh.

Fun to adventure with the group as always. A very mature theme with the eaten child and woman. Nice to see the dms not holding back on the horror. There seemed to be technical problems for the dms, at least I'm assuming so because they kept leaving the game. Hopefully it won't happen next time.

Very fun evening, even though we didn't get very far, distance-wise. The future looks "greyer" for our Squirrels. The times ahead look very promising, if complicated. I think it speaks volumes about the world you've made that even with a bad connection for you we were able to explore the characters in great depth & have fun. Huzzah!

I loved the hint of intrigue when the celestial mentioned 'The Reckoning'. I'm starting to get a picture in my head about what may have happened between Mystra and Niavia. Could she be a rival who was beaten and then banished by Mystra? Or perhaps an ungrateful daughter cast out for arrogance and pride? Maybe just an old poker buddy who lost an unusual bet. Can't wait to find out.

Excellent. You make the abyss come alive. One comment on the emote system. It doesnt seem to work when there are monsters nearby as it is now tied to rest. I am really excited about the final showdown next week. Assuming it is the final one.

The insane old man was a great touch to the campaign. Nothing like a conversation with a nut to make things interesting.

Another great session - new PC, new monsters, and furthering a plotline that the PCs thrust on you. You've done an excellent job of creating a world that allows such an..eclectic..group to grow. Our sessions are never dull, and always interesting. I think this is what the game's developers hoped for...something that is eagerly anticipated and always entertaining.

The releasing of the demon and having to hunt it down is a good plot. Though I do wish there was more npc interaction while traveling. Maybe a bit too much fighting and not enough chance to rp. Perhaps we could run into some people who barely survived the demon.

Very, very good to be back. Your swamp is still one of the best areas I've seen, and the bulette in the forest was an excellent surprise. Things ran without a hitch, and I thought the balance between combat & RPing was perfect. Valas and you did a terrific job - especially after such a long layoff.

hehehe... I guess I learned my lesson not to lie to the dm's... I thought you new I was kidding when I said that Kit had the finger. And then the double whammy. One of you hit me for 25 points and the other one for 50 (I'm assuming this of course).
I was a little surprized to see Niavia bargaining with us like that. She seems to be losing her powers as Kit's faith in her wanes. And of course, Niavia's display of weakness may have accerlerated the overall decline in Kit's devotion. Should be interesting to see if it was just a ploy on Niavia's part to elicit sympathy and aid from the group or if she really is in a downward spiral.

The cost of roleplaying. Did that demon lord really have to take away my best magic item. I thought it was supposed to be random. I also thought that some players did some very evil things particularly Juliant. Slaying Kit when she had not seriously harmed anyone. This at the very least should have made him more evil. Its a shame Kit didnt rest before attacking the party. That would have been a battle worthy of song. As it was she had very little left. Well Kit isnt impressed with anyone right now. Least of all her goddess. What goddess needs to beg. Please find a way to convert Kit back to neutral so that she can stay out of the bag. Oh and chaotic evil means she doesnt take oaths very seriously. But overall it was a great game. - Ravo

Great session this week. This whole evil Kit thing is getting really interesting what with her stealing the Angel Killer Sword right from under Ulrich's nose. I didn't see that coming. Seems to me that there are some other back door shenanigans going on too. I guess I'll have to wait and see.
The fights are still ridiculously hard though. Seems like we're just walking targets for some of those monsters. I don't know if they are too tough of if it's just because I don't have enough AC. Sure hope we stumble upon a merchant soon.

Great game. I didn't quite get the "Use your wisdom to figure this out..." hint. As far as I can tell we weren't supposed to be able to stop the ceremony, only try to clean up the mess it made... and what a mess it is. A chaotic evil religious fanatic with a Balor summoning staff she can't control. It's like Al Kaida (sp?) with nukes. Should be interesting.

Amazing game as always. Its a real shame about the server lag. If you cant sort it I could host the game on my server. All that glitters is not gold, as was proved with Niavias gifts. How will the party survive with a chaotic evil sorceress and a lawful good paladin...

Killer session this week. Really :P And new toys for everyone. Does this mean you are going Emeril Lagasse on us. The question is: will there be an audible "BAM" sound when you kick it up a notch? *grin*
The game seems to be headed into another combat phase which is always nice. Nice to see that we have some allies in the abyss too. Can we expect to see more of Sir Rowe and his men? I'm sure we'll run into some battles we can't handle on our own. Looking forward to playing it out.

Your ability to react to what the players are doing and change the plot accordingly is getting better and better. I love the way you integrate players actions into the game and everything flows seamlessly. Overall an outstanding game with more than a few surprises to keep us on our toes. Had fun this session. I like the fact that you provided a Druid to help Juliant reclaim his roots. Can't wait to play that out. Sounds like you want Juliant to use his wilderness skills in the upcoming segments. We'll have to see if we can purge him of the 'manure' and bring him back to 'nature'. LOL

Hehe... I guess that will teach Juliant not to neglect his Druidic background in favour of Bardic and other pursuits. Imagine his surprize when he went to shift into Bear form in the heat of battle but turned into a weak little Drow female instead. How embarrassing for him. LOL! Thanks for fixing that.

Excellent job, had a wonderful time. The way you split the party up during the 'Hunter' scene really kept us on our toes, as well as various other scenes done right. I think that the arena could have been handled better, but that was more our fault than anything you could have done.

Grabbing the children still seemed unnaturally hard. I know they fight and struggle but Ulrich is a adult knight and should be capable of holding a child. The children continued to run around long after we had grabbed them.

Had a few lag spikes but not sure if that was the net or the server. Also, half the people that signed up didn't show up. But even with all that, I had a really good time. DM did his best to balance things for the 3 of us and kept things going smoothly. And the mod itself was good stuff. I'd definitely play with this DM again.

Good to see that there are non-violent resolutions to some of the conflicts in the game, though I really wanted to give that guy and his two 6 armed slug women (can you tell I don't know what I'm talking about?) a go. That was a great scene, probably because we didn't fight. Very intense with the escalating threats on both sides. The suspense almost killed me.
The bloodlust of the Goddess Niavia showed itself in this session too. We were about to leave that mage in peace too.

It was a nice touch to have Niavia speak to Kit. I liked Lorik getting upset about his brothel. It looked like there was a small error on the message displayed when Gregan found a trap. 'It is a simple n electrical trap'. The pit traps were ingeneous but it seemed silly that we couldnt see them even after falling down one. Sometimes it felt impossible to move without falling down another one. There were a few minor inconsistencies:- The little boy kept running around after Gwyn had caught him. She had said she was carrying him yet he appeared from behind and got killed. It would have been better to just remove him until she put him down. Moradin took the raised children yet seemed unable to take the little boy after Ving was killed.

This was a great mod brought down I think by the characters/players. You did an awesome job the whole game of staying fair and trying to help us out, which we really needed. Very good game over all and the only thing I would change is maybe lighten up the halfling just a tad. TAD I say because it was a very good encounter that proved we had not team play. Thanks for putting up with us.

Had a lot of fun this episode. Gregan's transformation back a forth like that seemed a little out of place though... and the way the place just went nuts on us in the chaos that followed. I didn't think the entire bar should have gone hostile on all of us, just Gregan, but maybe that happened accidentally. Perhaps you could remove him from our party before the change next time.

Excellent work, the Red Wizards were a fun reference, the tavern was well done(except for the faction issue, but thats fine!) Gregan's transformation process is a fun sidequest, and I like how you're handling the children subplot. The Succubi's brothel was a rather funny scene out there as I completely did not expect that. The Tiefling tavern owner was also great, he reminds me of those dang Djinni's from BG2 answering wish spells. Overall great job.
