Thank you for the great game! I really enjoy playing..
Its funny. Though the group was amply rewarded, maybe too well, the characters are still left wondering exactly how stable their relationship with the town is and concerned with whether they will be heros or prisoners in the long run...

Entertaining as always. Seems that the creativity of the group of players in creating their backgrounds/characters/motivations has kept things on the slow to develop, but that's been ok. Still, it seems a foot was put down and some direction gained. A bit forced, perhaps, but the group needed some cohesion and they have that now. Thanks for all the hard work, this has the groundwork for a very interesting campaign going, now.

The settings continue to be remarkable and beautifully executed. The story is really beginning to develop and become complex and the player support to create unique and diverse characters is appreciated, creating a dynamic and interesting group to campaign with. Most excellent job on our new home, Ravyn (hussie)!

A fine session of role-play, with the party returning to their home of Esirup to find things in a state of dissarray. A bit heavy on dialog for some of the newer players, the time used discovering what has transpired since our last visit was well spent. The NPC's were great (and abundant) and the evasive plot thickens at every turn. I didn't know what to expect from this return to 'our' home, except that it would be entertaining, and prove enlightening to some extent. It was. It did. thanks.

Always a pleasure. Quite the twist in this one, not sure where it will lead. Hope my IC actions didn't contradict plans to a detrimental extent.

A masterful job by K and, this session, especially Hussie, who took the reins early on (get well K!). I am truly pleased to see this campaign flourishing to some extent again, and I thought the game design in this session (and last) was really impressive. A good time was had by all.

Just when other agenda's are dragging, and one that I put forth from the creation of my character is flourishing, the party developed focus. This shot holes in my characters credibility, and really made for some early tension. Ravyn really did a great job facilitating it, and following through, and then even reacting to how it all went... totally IC. Things didn't work out how I wanted (through little fault of my own) but I thought the whole thing really showed Ravyn and Kadarr's flexibility... even if our timing was out of sync and that is how it all happened. This world is what we make it, and you guys do your part to make it exciting and interesting. Thanks.

This one really turned out well, and I think blew some wind back in our sails. The game design with the new tilesets was breathtaking, and the NPCS were well played. The DMS also seemed to enjoy themselves, seeming very attentive, and prepared for the game. Nicely done.

Another great game, and I have to admit I wasn't the greatest, most helpful or attentive player I've ever been . . it is super ironic when the smartest player in the group, and a scout to boot, can't recognize climbable stairs right in fromt of his face! Still, I am really really pleased with the way things are going.

Incredible game. Revisiting a place we've travelled before to find it in such a state of mystery and disarray was very intriguing. The scene where we spoke with the child until the night fell, and the howling grew louder and more frequent as we crawled carefully and defensively through the vacant streets, well.... it was just awesome. Most tense moment in a long while. Was good to be amongst the Lords of Demoraz travelling through Jacklepine once again...

Was great to get back into the world of Nurrana. I am constantly impressed with how much goes on while we are playing, and how well you all handle it.
This start has been a bit ambiguous at times, , I think, but the RP between players as well as NPCs, is truly building a unique atmosphere. A seemingly very open-ended plot is slowly taking shape. Thanks for the fun.... your free form style make for my favorite type of game.

A well organized group of DMs who realy were into the game. They helped the new players intigrate themself into the old band of Adventures quite nicely. The module had loads of interesting scripts and custom content and I don't think I've seen half of whats going to come our way yet. Definatly can't wait for the next sessions.

Hmm, letsee, my first session with this group, and I got to: Play with new feats and spells, ogle custom content, RP with some very talented players and marvel at the DM team managing to seamlessly introduce multiple new characters at once, and even got a little improv'ed bit relating directly to my character. Worth evey Mb of .haks I downloaded (which was quite a few, by the way.). Yep. So far, the outlook on this game is nothing but positive... I'm impressed! I can't wait for next time! Woo!

Kadarr, I cannot say how much I appriciate you as a friend and DM. I see how much work you put into this game and to us players. Thank you for your patience with me. I over react at times making me a difficult player to deal with. It is a big weakness of mine. Tonight you talked with me and listened, and did not just write me off. That raises my esteem of you still further. Your plot and stories are interesting. It is frustrating dealing with new characters as the group is going through such a rearrangement. Your dedication to this game of so long is wonderful. Know that in my own DMing I try and emulate some of the things you do so well at. Thank you, again and always.
Ravyn (or hussie?) I really want to thank you this game. You really add to this campain greatly. You are easy to approach and discuss idea's and thoughts about your character, and how you are feeling about the game. I definatelly feel that you care about our happiness as players. Today was challenging for me as a player more then I expected. I did not check back with the game posts after a few days having gotten very busy with real life and the shock of new players suddenly, and such was very difficult. Thank you for listening to me when I was stressed and helping to calm me down.
Being a good player consistantly is difficult. So is being a good DM. You provide a good game that has brought a lot of fun to my life. I hope to continue with it and to continue to grow as a player and a character in both your friendships and company.

More good times all around. I vote for more wierdo NPC's to show up but I suppose that'll come around when, if ever, we return to civilization. Sweet times keep up the fabulous work. The world looks great and is flled with strangeness, as it should be.

You guys are the best. The game was well-run, with elements of the game that gave it a PnP feel, and that always impresses me. RL almost made me miss this one, but things worked out, and I was grateful for the part of the game in which I did get to participate. Fun time as always. I was glad I found a way to be there.

Once again, guys, it just keeps getting better. The new haks and tilesets really, really help the game, I think. The world doesn't look like plain old Neverwinter, it really feels like something new and differant. Again, can't wait for next week.
Also, now that I know what those necklaces some of the players wear are for, I'm really starting to get interested in Esirup and the forces behind it...

I admire your ambition, quite a herd to manage/appease. A bit chaotic, but all in all, very natural and a good base from which to begin. It will take a while to see what form this group takes, but again, your ambition is impressive.

Always entertaining. Great job of making the game an RP adventure and not a CRPG. Dice, decisions, and drama, this one was exciting, and I am always impressed at how you make the experience more like a PnP game than most NWN campaigns.
We did have a bit of a glitch for a moment, but with all the enhancements in Nurrana, one can't expect such regular gaming without a hiccup once every year or two.
One thing I really like that I've never commented on, is the Staging areas you incorporate. I know it seems small, but it really keeps our "RP world" pristine and IC, and it's a nice touch. Plus, I love the new ceilings, and the new tileset/haks are INCREDIBLE. Thanks for all the hard work.

Damn, guys, these games just keep getting better and better. That glitch with the respawning was a bit of an irritance, but no big deal at all. The dealings with the Princess were excellent, and really suprising, and the fights with the dragon and the lizard people made for some excellent RP. Cheers, and I'm looking forward to next week all the more.

That game was ace, guys! That was the most enjoyable game thus far! So much intrigue, just for a free inn in the middle of a swamp! And the book, that was a really great touch. The little girl was really intriguing, too. And I can't wait to keep talking with the Princess, she's obviously an interesting character.

Exciting session as always, and an interesting twist in the end leaving us staring at each other about what to do next. I will say that the continuity of the what when and why seemed a bit confusing at times, and I often question our parties judgement about what to do next, but we appear to have salvaged new momentum, and changed directions. Thanks for all the hard work.

This session was almost pure roleplay---my personal fave! Though there weren't any NPCs, you facilitated our own RP quite nicely with the fish, the birds, the campfire -- in effect, the overall ambience -- and you did it on the fly. Nice work!

It is somewhat dirricult playing a game with the second character. Tara is so new to the party herself, she knows so little about what is going on in it. Yet I know so much from Sara, it is hard to balance that, for some reason with the new players Tara seems harder to maintain then she was before. Without the tension about what she did to Maglor she starts to be difficult to keep to what I wanted her to be. Especially with the party so strongly needing guidence and no one else seeming to provide it... *sighs*
You are both doing good. It was nice almost getting the NPCs to do what we wanted for once. It would be nice to succeed at a few endeavors more then just staying alive sometimes, but really the DMing seems to improve overall since a year ago when I first joined you all.
This game I have been in for such the long hall, I hope there will be a way to continue with it through summer vacations and a evening class next fall.

I was considering simliarities, OOC as a player, to the white plains orcish dungeon, before we ever got to the chaos table, and trying INCREDIBLY hard to RP against that, which made for a futile effort on my character's part in terms of usefulness, and thus I felt I bit out of the picture and spinning my wheels. But spinning wheels can also be fun, and I thought the way the situation in the drowning cell worked out was well thought out and appropriate. All in all, a good session as always... thanks.

Another excellent game, although I was a little thrown off by the uneven effect of the pit trap it all worked out in the end so no worries at all. The confusion traps were pretty awesome! Just so you know, I really hate the acid trap. And since I was a little bit off and not at my best thanks for not bringing down the pain.

Excellent game! Wonderful game! Despite a few players coming in late, the game moved along excellently. The party is starting to really come together as a team, if not a friendly team, which makes things much more exciting. The NPC's were absolutely excellent, ranging from hysterical to ominious and cunning to poignant. Can't wait for next week!

Nothing spectacular about this session, but the World that Kadarr has created, and the players that enjoy it, are all so impressive that very little HAS to occur for me to enjoy myself and become my character for a while.
A bit of distress lately in terms of party resolve and focus, I commend you on your ability to keep the game so consistent and enjoyable.

A great job, with such a diverse and large party, and so much going on in terms of character development, I am impressed with Kadarr's/Hussie's/Kenor's ability to stick with us, keep things relevant, meaningful, and moving. The feedback on the "little things" was great in this session, and I can only think that having some help from Kenor, in his first session with us, was helpful. Thanks for keeping me looking forward to Mondays.... quite an accomplishment.

Thanks to Kadarr and Hussie for always bringing us such entertaining sessions in which to play.
I thought that there were certain things about this session that showed an even greater than usual appreciation for fairness, tempered with realistic detail, that really showed the mastery of these two DMS. This session was a climax to a plot tangent that has lasted for months, across several different parties, and has been incredibly engulfing.
I did feel that the plot, though long planned and very well thought out, played out in the end in a disjointed manner to an extent, and I felt a bit "confused" as to the relevance of our methods of attaining our goal, and to the relevance of our surroundings TO that goal. Perhaps time will shed light on that which I should not yet understand.

A really enjoyable time during this session. Great design (Drow Mage's Quarters were enthralling) great storyline, gripping NPC personalities vital to the story, and some real moments of tension and excitement.... I scored you 10 for treasure, not for gold or items, but for the things that MY character found to be valuable. A mmmosssst... intriguing collectionnn offf creaturrrressss.

Great atmosphere, and plot, and things are confusing as usual, so I know it's good! Though I felt the game dragged a bit up front, the addition of in game creation of items is interesting, I just wasn't a part of it. Things did pick up after the fire, and it was a fun session, ending on an exciting and mysterious note.
I did hope that my thought to use my unique skills to venture out and learn something, while they created items for themselves, would be met with greater zeal and perhaps reward, but I realize the attention that must be going into the new system, and that a lot was happening, and that my idea was a burden of sorts perhaps at the time.

I was most impressed this session by the Kadarr's and Hussie's ability to roll with the punches of the game. Their efforts in detail, in presenting situations to the players' characters, and to allow for flexible plot and gameplay in general impressed me in this session.
Thanks to both of them for reminding me IC and In-Game to think outside the NWN engine.... as their world not only encourages it, but requires it. It's part of what makes this campaign/group so much fun.
Thanks.

Obviously a well planned, well designed session. Some incredible atmoshere, had me taking screenshots, nice. I was also impressed with the way the plot and our path went. A fine balance of Game Design, NPC interaction, plot development.... overall a really well planned game. Thanks for that.
I will say that sometimes, some desciptions of things/events in game could be a bit more clear to me, I don't always understand what you mean, and when I inquire, am sometimes met with resistance as though Im prying secret game info, when really I'm just unclear as to what it is that was described to me. I will try to be more patient and less bothersome and see if that helps.

I was worried how things would progress from where they had gone... but it unfolded nicely and things appear to be going well. Though I was confused at the start, as I didn't see Philip or the gnome but was being told what was happening with him/them...that was a bit odd for a moment. Great touch in your methods of adding Mereppi the Merchant Gnome into the storyline, fine work.

I think I'd have enjoyed being a fly on the wall of the DM team this week. I imagine you were as surprised as I that we went back into the caves. But you did another terrific job of dealing with the challenges we presented you. My curiousity lies now in what comes next, with PCs asserting their own wills. -Pb

Fantastic time as usual, and the plot thickens. I was impressed by the ability of the DM's to think "outside" the toolset, as we found ourselves stumped to find our way to higher ground and had to be "creative" in our means of finding shelter. Good game... and thanks as always.

Hey This game rocked!! I love the skeleton village! I really like the cluelessness of the skeletons and yet they robbed me of 60 gold at the gaming table. *curses them and the low persuade roll* If I am lucky I'll get the rest of the cats behind the idea of robbing these . . . things.

Fun time as always. I was impressed with your willingness to listen to the complaints at the end of the game by some of the players. Your dedication to the game and the players is what facilitates the campaign's extreme flexibility and fun.
[DM Kadarr's reply to comment: In return it is VERY nice that players wait until the end of the game to give their opionions instead of during the game to inturupt the game. On the players side it is also nice that they two are willing to listen to my (the dm's) comments also. It was one of the BEST OOC: after game nights I had. A very constructive critisism without tempers involved. Thanks for listening to me as well as voicing your opionion.]

Kadarr, I had a wonderfull time with this game tonight. Especially the stuff in the begining. The roleplay for it was excellent, and I truly appriciate the chance for my character to be the one who solved things this time. I really thank you for that.
The NPC you ran tonight was great. I thought she was funny. And honestly I felt you did fine running all by yourself. We were silly to run of by ourself but I guess it made sense after what we had been through.
You are an excellent DM. Occassionally things are not great, but really. Now that I have gone on a playing binge and have had a chance to see other DMs. You clearly are a top notch DM. And all the more for being able to forgive and let me return after I fell apart and had a hissy. We all have our bad days and I aprriciate that you are a friend first and my DM second.
I want to say thank you for this over a year of playing with you. And no I am not leaving the game, I was invited to a thursday game that I really want to play in but, I will not even consider leaving yours for it. *smiles* I am glad to be back, and intend to stay that way.
Your friend and player, Rebecca

Untill the end it was a very very very good game. The end it was to hard. And where we ended was unpleasant. But up untill then it was one of the great games.
[DM Kadarr's reply to comment: Hmmm? Where you ended up was unpleasant? Thinks about where that was? If it was the orc prison camps? Well yea, it should be unpleasant. *smiles* But trying to run through a dungeon isn't really a reason to say it was hard when taking things slow and easy could of worked out differently. Makes for a long and capturing night when the group gets spread out. But anyway, I'm glad that everybody doesn't enjoy the captiveness. Makes for a great game when PC's realize their mistakes are sometimes v]

I'm not a hack and slash guy, so with this session thick in combat, I was thrilled to see the DM's doing the 'little things' in between and even during all the battles to make things interesting and fun.
Great design in the swamp, the complete darkness upon our entry was foreboding, and the touch on the meditation ceremony with the feathers was great. Truly enjoyed myself throughout, for all the right reasons, thanks. Hope you had fun too. Overall, a very flexible and creative effort by the DM's, when it could have been just encounters set up and a session with little or no input by them. A top 5 game for all the little reasons...

So you know this is going to be a glowing review . . . good fights, great dm, excellent players . . . and nothing to say by way of critique except . . . you should have had one of the slaads escape so when the rest started using true seeings they would have had a reason to be forwarned there was a shadowy someone needed smiting. This is such a minor point that it takes more words than it is really worth. Thanks for playing. see you next session.

Ok that had to be the best game I have been in. That was the greatest cliffhanger. I was really impressed tonight. And I really liked that even in the stress and difficulties that are characters were in we still had time to roleplay with each other. Thank you both for such a great game.

Yet another good time. The only woierdness is how the figts go from impossible to easy . . . but I think that is a function of which and how many chars show up. Having a great cleric makes all the difference. You guys rock.

I generally don't do this dm review because there is no option to choose NA for some categories. For those that were non-applicable (such as NPCs, of which there were none today), I tried to choose a median score rather than force your score lower.
I really just want to say that you should be commended as a team of DMs who deal so well with such a bunch of childish brats. grins Though not true of the whole group, the ones that are must be such a headache at times! (I'm fairly certain I must be one of said headaches, and for that I applaud your patience and kindness, your instruction and guidance. bows deeply) As for the campaign and story, I am very excited by some of the upcoming plot lines and look forward to finding out more about the other characters in our group and about the characters in the other groups. I only assume that we will run into them again at some point on a couple of the plots. Keep up the excellent work! -gemerald

Excellent NPCs, as always. And I love the new environments you guys have been designing. One thing i would like to see changed is having several moderate power monsters instead of just 1 really powerful one to fight at a time -- it makes it seem a little strange that there are so many super powered orcs and slavers and bandits running around in the forests and roads when they could be taking over all of jacklepine :)
that is, unless it's easier to control the fight with only one villain. if so, i'm fine with it as it. -Blefuscu

players: need to RP more since this is an RP server and keep any dissatisfaction in the OOC area and make more use of these reviews to let DM's know what the difficulties are.
DMs: Need to let the players feel powerful and set up difficult fights so the players have a little more clue about what is coming up so they can prepare. This is not to say that every fight should be a cakewalk and that suprises shouldn't happen.

Ahhh last game of the year for the friday group . . . that news was the only downer. Other than that I really, really enjoyed the Thieves Cant and the unsavory dealings, I wonder how that is all going to work out. Our enemies seem to be wielding much more potent magics and fielding signifigantly tougher armor. They also seem to be getting more than a little annoyed at being sneak attacked all the time, which is, in fact, extremely amusing to me.

An excellent game . . . tons of plot information, some drama, some revelations. Really well done. I hate that green robed sage! I can't believe he robbed me after I robbed him. I can't believe I am not going to be able to kill him in his sleep like the dog he is!! I think I am going to have to try anyway.

Just a great time as always... the 'auction' in Trumal was quite a scene... and the twist was interesting, though I contrived a more dastardly one as we got there. I was relieved when it didn't occur... my character has enough on his mind. NPCs really shined this session... great game. thanks

Another fun day in the city. Nice touch working in things from everyone's past. I like the use of the 'drow' tileset in the Inn without making it look like it's straight out of the Underdark.
The days ahead look very promising for our little group. It will be hard to miss more time so soon after getting back to speed. -Pb
