This was a lot of fun, very creative, and an excellent platform for an online party. The scripting was top-notch (those rifles were great, and the goblin skeet shoot was hilarious and fun!), the game design was beautiful (I loved how detailed, decorative, and creative every area was, with so many placeables appropriately placed to embellish each location that I think Bioware needs to consider hiring...), and the overall atmosphere was light and humorous. A lot of funny moments, unexpected tricks (the spring platform was cool!), and visual splendor (cows from hell, yikes!). If anyone gets invited to this game, they should sign up right away, because the Frosts have made a truly great NWN party adventure!

Ha Ha! A social mod with a nice little Halloween adventure nestled in it. This mod showed great creativity and was loads of fun. My only recommendation is that the "scary adventure" part may have benefited from a stronger narrative - since it was intended as a one-shot, a little exposition at the beginning may have set the scene better. But I got the crusty love doll - and there's *nothing* better than crusty love dolls!

Brilliantly done! Wonderful! Spectacular! I haven't had that much fun in ages. Nothing like a fun, silly mod to cheer you up after a bad week. Definitely worth the wait. You two are quite a team, both as players and DMs. Mistress Frost, I love that twisted mind of yours. It was beautiful and a BLAST at the same time. --Rofelli--

This was my first game with Frost and I had a great time! The npc's were very varied and distinct. Frost gave every player attention, and no one got left behind. I liked his frequent use of the pc dicebag, it kept the game lively and added an interesting dynamic. Looking forward to another game!

A really well-run, fun game. Frost is quite skilled in the Client: he managed to keep track of all 5 PCs, run a well-spoken NPCs (often two or three at a time), get skill checks from us, etc., all at the same time. And I never felt like what I might be doing went unnoticed. The game had good atmosphere, and the plot was just complex enough to keep us engaged without bogging our argumentative party down. Great work! Looking forward to Part 2!

I especially enjoyed the inventiveness in this session: the scripting in the wizard's house was well done, and the golem and fire-elemental were both good challenges for the party. Obviously the wizard being linked to imp was something of a snafu, as was the endless stream of bats in the cavern. Abit more testing might be in order for triggers like that.

After the game you told us about the client crashes and bugs, but in game we barely noticed. You guys handled it very well. I felt like this one is a bit unbalanced giving the difficulty of what we face, the low magic, and our levels. You did a good job of trying to balance on the fly, without messing up the story.
In the end, I must admit, as DM's you guys are great. Once the kinks get worked out, I'm sure this will go down as one of my favs. CTH

I really enjoyed this session..a bit more action than the previous, but still our disjointed band of adventurers made progress. Again, great work with the NPC's, and some strange and creepy story raising to the top! I am really enjoying how the story is evolving, and can't wait to progress further.
I would appreciate more of a recap before we start each session.... I sometimes forget why we ae there, what we are looking for, etc.
Other than that, a great time!

A very enjoyable improvisational game full of surprises, romance, adventure, and everything you could possibly ask for. I don't know how he did it, but Alex managed to DM eight different players all intent on making the most out of the improv setting. Truly amazing!

Very interesting plot, and I didn't really notice the DM using NPCs as "puppets" at all. Things carried on well, but it was a little confusing at times to just get a DM message "spot check" or such, but I can understand why it was done this way. The important thing though, was that I thoroughly enjoyed the game and look forward to the next session.

Nice game Alex, I'm looking forward to the last session. You had very good responses player group (i.e. the halfling woman), also nice spider script (I really loved that :)) and you gave the npc's some nice personalities (the stuttering woman comes to mind). A thing that might improve realism for the module: don't give the ale free of charge :) And also add some ale to the OOC store. My character likes to start with a bottle or two. Either way, good game and thanks for DMing. Hope you enjoyed it as much as I did.

BB and Frosty...great session...npc personalities were outstanding, really helped to get my character into the flow of the game (even with that waitress monk handing me my rear)..both you guys were attentive to every detail..it was one of those rare games that combines the best of PnP type games and the tech that NWN has to offer..one sticking point...the wolf ambushes right by the area transition was a little harsh, but then again, that could've been a result of our party splitting up and drawing undue attention by having others plunder ahead..overall excellent job and I'm looking forward to the next session!

Excellent game whistler and alexander, I think things ran very smoothly tonight even with two of the party members not present. The problems with bleeding has finally been tacked down, its good to see the new system is working as intended. In the future more out of game testing might be warranted, Id be more than willing to help if you send me a message. NPC's were solid as usual.
I love the game so far. With all of the custom features this campaign is probably going to come closer to

This was a heavy RP session. One fight which was fun and strange, but mainly just standing around talking to lots of NPCs and other players. At times it got a bit tedious, i.e. too much talk and not enough action. I imagined my character's feet getting sore from all the standing around. Sometimes it's nice to mix it up a bit, i.e. talk, fight, talk, fight. But when you've got great players and a great DM possessing NPCs, you don't miss the fighting. Lots of fun. One of those games where I could have had fun just standing around RP'ing regardless of the module, plot, monsters lurking in the trees above, etc. Can't wait for part 2. Hey, look who just got squeezed onto my Top 5 DM list! :)
[AlexanderFrost's reply to comment: Oh don't worry, part two will have you wish that your feet were the ONLY thing sore... ;) ]

Well thought out Adventure. This one has a little mystery, a little dark, a little light, plenty of room to roleplay, and some combat right where it makes sense.
The NPC jumping and their personailties are top notch I don't care what anyone else says. It's a small mod, but doesn't play like one. CTH

One of the most fun games I've played in for a long time. The game started late, but this was NOT the DM's fault! A few of the players didn't read the warning not to upgrade to 1.31, so those of us that did had to go back and patch. Again, this should NOT detract from the excellent job that the DM(s) did in running the game. Once the patching was done, the game started well, and took off from there. I especially enjoyed the wide variety of personalities the NPCs showeed - from belligerent, to sullen, to insane, to friendly, to obsequious. I look forward to playing with these DM's again!

Well, besides being able to roleplay, AlexanderFrost is also an incredible DM. The work that was put into this game showed throughout, the NPCs were vibrant, with even minor characters getting a line here and there. The action flowed well, the spiders creeped me out, and the climx of the session certainly sets the mood for the second half. Lookin' forward to how this'll end.

Everything in this adventure was great, once it got started (no problem with the last minute tweaks, though, it was worth the wait, as you said it would be!) The NPC jumping was again incredible, and I loved that meeting at the town square--very mysterious, and VERY frustrating that no one would reveal anything! Nothing I said could deter your NPC's from being ambiguous and confusing. The final fight was great, with things coming in through the doors and windows unexpectedly, and the dialogue of the NPC's added to the atmosphere, painting the picture of hordes outside. The wraith was the best I've seen, and it's fear was appropriately done. Great tension builds and nicely paced. A thoroughly enjoyable experience!

Fun game. Lots of mystery and suspense. Excellent NPC work even when we tried to overload the DM by talking to too many at once.
And are you sure I don't like floggings? :)

Great NPC hopping; I would start talking to an NPC just to roleplay; I wouldn't expect a response as I saw the DM was involved in another conversation but to my astonishment he would jump from NPC to NPC without missing a beat! Hard to believe there was only one DM.

Frost jumped among NPC's, carrying on several simultaneous conversations with different PC's, in addition to role-playing an NPC that accompanied the group. It was great to see the DM respond to all the little things the characters did, adjusting the story for the unpredictable ways we chose to deal with events, and even allowing me to make checks for my Druid involving his nature-sense and close ties with the animals. The tree-jumpers were great, and the build up was perfectly timed, with little messages from the DM and random sounds to indicate something was there. A great story, lots of fun, and sufficiently eerie build--I can't wait until next session!

An excellent job. Tons of interesting diolouge that was all handtyped (hope his wrists survive). Amazing use of NPC hopping that kept multiple conversations going without a hitch. Great atmostsphere design and use of character skills also.
Only improvements I would sugguest would be look at exterior and interior scale factors, some of the insides looked much bigger then the outside building, or maybe I didn't get a good view.

I had so much fun that I have decided to add you to my top 5 DM list. I was amazed at how well you managed to not only pull of a fun game, but to multi-task by performing regular DM duties, play several NPCs and a party member all without skipping a beat. I have been in many games with greater number of DMs performing far less than you did last night.
Your game seemed well organized and carefully thought out. I could tell you have taken your own roleplaying abilities and applied them most effectively to the DM side. I could go on and on, but I will stop, great game guy.
If I had to list a fault with the campaign/game, it would be that it had to end. *winks*
I can not wait to finish this and hope to play in more of your games down the dusty road my friend.
Best to you, Kandelai

This DM had a tough challenge, as the players seemed to want to do their own thing. (Drink Ale, forget the plot.)
Even through this, the DM found a way to manouver the plot and story into the scenario. So, even though the players didn't want to do what my character wanted to do, I saw my character's perceptions as necessary to the team, and the story.
Good old worry wort sidekick. *smiles*

Loved the mod. Especially for being Beta. The spiders were really cool. Good story, great Npc's, and you had a few little script surprises here and there.
Honestly, I can't think of a single bad part. A little tweaking and this ones gold!

A fun module with some unique twists - the plot and story were creative and well played. The Solo DM played multiple NPC's very well. This module had both RP and combat elements, mixed well. Nicely done!

Great game. Your world was alive and vibrant. The NPC's were played well and everyone of them had a unique name, not just the ones that had dialogue, every last commoner and guard was a unique person. A lot of attention to detail and it showed. You were fair and lead us along by the nose when we needed it. Thanks for a fun time. Your on my Top 5 list - Swifty

I really liked this game's design. It was different and fun. Being a new DM, I felt that the organization was fine. The game went well and progressed relatively smoothly. The NPCs were great. They were more lifelike than most. This game was really a lot of fun. The challenges seemed fair throughout. I can't wait to see where this plot leads us. It was overall a very interesting game. :)

Elb, TOJ, Alex: Thank you all for a fun afternoon! The story as it unfolded was interesting, twist was thought-provoking, the "good" NPCs made for a very touching ending... and the "bad" NPCs were oh-so-fun to smash! The NPCs, in their reactions to us and to each other, really made this game great.

I really enjoyed this game immensely, it is one of the best I have played in. The story was engaging and intelligent, with many opportunities for all players to base their role play on the events. Everything flowed well and I must confess I also enjoyed the guard-bashing towards the end, hee. Those buggers really deserved a beating and they got it :)
The only "bugs" I noticed was the faction thingy and the annoying Voice from DMFI getting in our way. Personally I didn't see a reason for having the voice in the module, giving so much hassle just to print nonsense-speech in the chat window, "representing" racial languages.
The twist with dear Bella and her people was simply excellent, adding depth and leading to afterthoughts as well. Cheers!

Another good session, from two great DMs -- Elbast and Alexander Frost --, this time with the most welcome addition of TOJts. I will soon run out of words to say that their best quality is the NPC interaction -- probably the best I have seen in NWC. An interesting plot as well, this time, especially considering it was supposed to be an improvised one-shot, crowned with a surprising and touching ending. - Brenno

Great improv game guys! I really liked the sidetrack we got off on into the caves, even though it was unintentional! Nice job setting us back on track as well. I now add this as another data point supporting my hypothesis that a real NWN one-shot with roleplaying is almost impossible! =)

Definitely NPC interaction is the best quality of this group of DMs, always possessing them, they make sure their dialogue is both witty, belieavable and touching, when it has to be. Impressive work in such a short time, as well. - Brenno.

A very impressive game, it was not at all noticable that it was put together in such a short time. Even though it was a short-story, you managed to involve the player's characters with their strengths and weaknesses to an amazing level. NPCs where fun and had lots of colour, I really enjoyed this immensely.

I really had no idea how to go about rating this one... supposed to be a one-shot just for kicks, turned out to be a long game spent completely off-track! Absolutely hilarious! DMs tried their best to keep us moving, and we ignored every hint. The NPCs (even the ones we killed a little too hastily) were well-played. I hope to be there for the continuation!

A worthy effort considering how quickly this was built! Excellent NPCs as always. Would have liked to have seen the party pointed in the right direction a little more firmly given the fact that this was supposed to be a one shot, but overall enjoyable. I get the feeling the plot was only just unraveling and look forward to the continuation. {Dunga}
