Comments in reference to the character Gaelbrekc ap Manaram a Human - Barely: Bob‘s a great edgy character. Do think you need to be careful though about being overly abrasive with key NPCs during info gathering as that cut short what we got out of at least NPC.

Neat Sawyer style- accompany it with some realms references, make the others feel he is in the realms too if you know what i mean. Use though ranger skills, give more a sense of who he is with *emotes* and you‘re a stud. Keeps team together and focused in a neat style.

Comments in reference to the character Gaelbrekc ap Manaram a Human - Barely: To be honest, when I first read the past reviews of this character, I was worried. Yet from the little I‘ve seen so far, Gaelbrekc is more than willing to be co-operative, so long as it end up with him still living at the end of the day. Looking forward to future sessions with him and the player. :)

Comments in reference to the character Gaelbrekc ap Manaram a Human - Barely: Well Done! Gael (upon first impressions) is a perfect mix of mercenary swagger and battle-hardened veteran. His interactions with the other characters is unique to the individual and already makes for an unexpected partner to the absent-minded Bigo and an interesting contrast to the focused and strong-willed Laini, while still managing to play the ‘big brother‘ role to Deron. All in all, an interestingly fleshed out character whom I look forward to journeying with in the weeks to come. -Tarridus

Comments in reference to the character Brother Bertram a Human:
At first it seemed that Brother Bertram shuddered at the idea of wandering along with a bunch of prayer-reciting rookie knights of St. Cuthbert. Brother Bertram a Human: considering how quickly it was decided for you to play, and how little time you had to prepare a character, it is unbelievable what a great character you have put together. Comments in reference to the character Placeholder a Human: I also hope we can find a time to finish the mod, since I had a great time in that first session. This party was quite diverse, and Basyle‘s interaction was amusing with every character in their own way. He did give me several good laughs with his insistance in calling Ezcsiel a “kid“, not to mention his own very fun righteous and a little arrogant personality. (the apology to the priest, the refusal to help the elves, etc) :) Great game, I‘d really like to see how the relationship between these characters develops and how the story ends. Cheers! - FP

- Kempeck the Crail -
Having gamed a while with you and getting the DM hints how to provide a good game, I can only say that, while I‘ve missed a bit of Kempeck‘s introduction, I‘ve gained the knowledge about the character now and the character is played out consistently. Taking freedom to split up for some minor exploration and such was good this time and didn‘t provide any unexpected split-ups which could occur with otherwise a bit too quick players (even with three DMs).

Comments in reference to the character Kempeck the Crail a Human: Kempeck really shined in this one. I know Sam got mad at him for whispering to him while he was fixed on other things, but I will say what Sam couldn‘t. “You are right.“ :)

Comments in reference to the character Kempeck the Crail a Human: Kempeck integrated very well with our group and I think we all got a good idea of what he‘s about. Comments in reference to the character Kempeck the Crail a Human: A fine first session for the new addition to the group. The group was obviously suspicious of Kempeck because of the way he joined the group, but eventually we accepted him. It was especially refreshing to see him challenge Asheryn‘s reasons and motivation for staying at the tower, I thought Kempeck provided great fuel for that scene. Again, wonderful first session and I look forward to many more with him.

Comments in reference to the character Gaelbrekc ap Manaram a Human - Barely: Whew, what can I say? Gaelbrekc was a trip. Definitely an extreme, acerbic character that was full of personality. I saw where he was coming from, so he was a blast to play with for me. Maybe a private message to each player before the game (since at least one player didn‘t see the game forum message) would help avoid what we had last night, when you have a character like you played get misunderstood. Truly a fun RPer, who really added to the game.

Comments in reference to the character Gaelbrekc ap Manaram a Human - Barely: Gael was an extreme character. Often rude, a bit obnoxious, but always with a well played edge that made you feel that his position was based on practicality and a life of hard living.
I noticed that when confronted with a situation which might actually break up the group, he backed down, and decided to go with the flow, but not without some grumbling.
A good demonstration of playing a hard liner that nevertheless allows all the players to enjoy the module. I certainly enjoyed it.
I did take a little exception to how this player handled the game breaking behaviour of another player, but I was almost at that point myself so I completely understand.

Comments in reference to the character Gaelbrekc ap Manaram a Human - Barely: I think the roleplaying was extreme, but not uncalled for. It was very consistently played and obviously had a big impact on the outcome of the adventure. I guess there are some real risks to playing such an an extreme personality for a character. I, for one, enjoyed it. It made the game very interesting.

Comments in reference to the character Gaelbrekc ap Manaram a Human - Barely: From the players own pre-game post, used to justify later (grossly offensive) behavior: “The character I‘m playing has an edge to him, and some even consider him to be a jerk.“ More to the point, the character was insulting, rude, and throughly mercenary. This character is not good for a cohesive team, despite the player saying “will work with the team.“ The character questioned good decisions and actions by the party, and the party leader, and mishandled NPC interactions.
In the PnP campaigns, and servers that I run, would be banned.
[Moss Troll's reply to comment: I don't have the words to describe my contempt for the way this reviewer ( Etarnon ) played the game. He was chastised by the entire group for destroying 3+ hours of gaming because he was "just playing his character".
This fodder is a poster boy for what's wrong with the CRPG community. If I could only have reached him with my bare hands.....

Choosing a BIG is, in these cases, a very hard task, but I am slighed inclined to choose Fezzik because he was perfectly roleplayed: his simple mind, his simple ways, his simple but good heart. Simplicity, simple though it may seem, is often the hardest quality to attain. - Brenno

Comments in reference to the character Basyle ap Manaram a Human: I have had "character" clashes with people I knew and carried it off- but this was different. We had never played together before and right from the start our characters "personalities" clashed violently-- yet you always kept it IC and totally understood that's what it was. Then OOC we could joke about it and discuss it rationally. You had a similar thing going with another character. Clearly you knew what you were in for when you made the background on Basyle- a very strong (rigid?) personality who you made come to life (until we met the succubus anyway ;-). Great fun- to me epitomizes what this game can be. Very sorry to see it end. Hope we can get together in future campaigns! BPIG.
