Great job, and glad to see you‘re back in action.
I must of course apologize for you guys getting frustrated, but that was not the intent, nor was it to make things so difficult...for any one. We‘re running the adventure based on what the party does...and we did not intend for any one to feel forced down any path. Nor did we want you to feel forced to use any particular members connection, or what have you.
A few spoilers/bits of advice;
1. Ask around! Not a single person stopped a passer-by for any information what-so-ever! Maybe some one might have seen some of the villagers? Not only important people have information. Calad is full of people selling things, including information.
2.Try to make some friends! Sure they might be thieves, or worse...but friends in a place like Calad is a good thing...not a bad one...and they might be able to get you ‘in‘ somewhere Papal writs and other ‘official‘ means might not.
3. Gangs rule the streets. Making one or more of them hate you might be a bad idea...perhaps some of the gamg members might have seen the villagers? Sure they might be scum to you...but information is neither good, nor evil...
Now, I don‘t mean to say you have to be evil, or non-lawful. But there -is- a system which operates in Calad.
I think this session was so frustrating is because every one only wanted to work within their ‘system‘ of getting things done, and not the one used in the Town of Calad.
I may sound like I‘m trying to make the party a bunch of scoundrels...but that‘s not the case! Keep your options open, and things should go swimmingly.
And realize that sometimes ‘official‘ means are the most tedious, and cumbersome. Escpecially in a place like Calad, which is -why- it‘s so lawless....

Casey‘s obvious care for Alistair was a great contrast to her usually abrasive nature. The rivalry between her and Sarah is probably my favorite part of the campaign so far, too. Bravo!

Comments in reference to the character Casey Greenwater a Human: The fiesty sorceress certainly adds a lot of emotional tension and dynamic to the group. You simply do a superb job as coming across as an angst-ridden girl trying to find herself, and the ‘truth‘ about her life.
I love the way you have managed to make her become nearly real, and how I actually feel bad about her parents and friends lying to her about her history.

Your character was once again impeccably played, but I failed to understand why you used the "shout" mode when exclaiming why? I understand your character being upset that we did not listen/obey when you instructed us to wait while you scouted, but using the scout makes me think it was personal and not in character. I understand it being personal because everyone including me wants to run off and hold the glory. We stole that from you and for that I am sorry, but your reply was out-of-character and that was the first time that I have ever seen you do this. You are one of the best in our group, & our guild. It actually stunned me to see you angry. I understand where you came from but understand... some of us are chaotics.. some of us are not going to be obedient... don't take it personal... RP the differences and understand it was not a slight but merely a group of impatient characters acting as a slow moving formation as you far-range. An outrider will often run back to the masin group and inform of dangers. You are one of the best RC.

The two new PCs meshing well with the group and all in character.
