Comments in reference to the character Tardo Floud a human: having gotten separated from most of the group, I gained little insight into the stoic and perpetually quiet Tardo. We did teach those elves a lesson or two though, didn‘t we. *smacks his fist into his other palm and grins slowly*

Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: A short trip? nearly a month in the marshes, then the responsibility of the trip put upon the Shifter by the words of that mage? Now glares and suspicious abound in his direction. I say you lead us from the obvious dangers and mystery of this Brandell keep and follow the power of this amulet....

Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: After 26 days of that Swamp you have nothing to show for it, just what did happen to the stone of capturing and the Blue flamefly?you ponder on the fact that Hallastadt keep‘s falling behind rest of the group and seems to be looking for something in his pack. Returning to Brendell Keep and gettin ready to confront Febrinde the group was attacked by what could only be A wolf that walk‘s on 2 feet, or what was that...?

Comments in reference to the character Mereppi the merchant a Gnome: Merrepi brings more intrigue and mystery with him everytime he and his magicks happen upon us... but I am always relieved to see him. It was a shame to tell him of Tara, and I could not bring myself to fully explain what transpired... though Leona did it rather bluntly. Something about this mage brings a sense of comfort and safety to my mind... but perhaps it is my infatuation with his mastery of the arcane.

Comments in reference to the character Mereppi the merchant a Gnome: Standing on the deck of the “Admiral“ you hear the Captain talking to Leona, and you hear the words cook and galley.*running to the edge of the ship and leaning over as if you were gonna dump your insides out. bobing and weaving in the waves, you are seasick.*I dont like Ships and the sea* you think to yourself.

Comments in reference to the character Tardo Floud a human: Tardo doesn‘t speak much... that I could tell. Perhaps he‘s just soaking it all in.... or perhaps he CAN‘T speak... I don‘t know for sure yet. We shall see what he‘s about, soon enough... in these sewers. How‘d you get on the wrong side of those hedges?

Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: Seems you‘ve got some worried about you... though I could see nothing upon my inspections of you and your demeanor. Perhaps the group should stick more closely together while we find what is amiss in the walls of this keep. Some leadership is again in order.

Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: Another great session for Garrett, who is making efforts to lead this group by the reins, even if it is from within an imposing Orcish Shadow at times. Great job finding a way to ‘persuade‘ the wild one against his fears.... hilarious. I would have expected more anger from the garrish Garrett though, as well as from some of the others, concerning Soren‘s insolence.

Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: Garrett‘s best game yet, in my opinion. Showed true leadership, provided strategic ideas, managed personalities and situations with his charm and persuasion in a deliberate manner, and fought valiantly in between to further the group‘s and his own goals. MORE OF THAT!!! big

Amusing and believeable RP full of subtle touches and obvious personality.
04/12/05
Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: Definitely noticing the efforts, Garrett seems to have his hands on the reins, now let‘s see the skills be put to use to make them practical. GG. What did you mention, just a bit less charismatic than you‘d like? Let‘s see you use what you‘ve got.
04/06/05
Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: Garrett has really been doing his part to reel in this wild group of different personalities, but there is obviously more to be done. There are two people in the party that can consolidate us and make us stronger right now, and Garrett is one of them. Can his charm, charisma and skill of persuasion harness the brashness of the Half Orc and the Dissention of one of the most talented scouts in all the land? Perhaps with some help and some foresight. It would be a major accomplishment, but obviously is a day to day battle. GG

Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: Glimpses... I see.... only glimpses... of what COULD be. Perhaps the new blood to mingle with the glory of Demoraz can bring insight? How will the current Lords adjust to an influx of power and opinion? and did I hear the Bard turn heel and run shouting “RETREAT“ or was it my imagination ; ) ...no matter, depths and dangers such as those we‘ve faced can turn many a stomach and will.

Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: Great session, do I sense some resolve and motivation? Eager to see more of the same, and perhaps hear a bit more from the Bard... his recent show of skill in combat and the arcana have overshadowed his flamboyance a bit.... or is he holding back for some reason?

Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: If the Lords of Demoraz have a plan, it is not evident, and their methods of deciding the groups actions are those of chaos and anarchy. Perhaps it is time for them to agree upon a system of decisive actions... of some sort. And then, perhaps not... they seem to revel in the chaos, however disorienting it may be.
02/01/05
Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: Garrett‘s best game yet, in my experience and recollection. I was impressed how Garrett seemed to try and involve himself with the members of the group, and get them involved as well. Involved but not overbearing, very becoming a bard such as himself. I would like to see more of his charm and manipulation come into play in terms of helping the group work as a team.

Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: Garret tried to take initiative in this session, but seemed to teeter along the lines of the parties multiple wishes when faced with decisions. To lead a group such as this, it will take more decisive actions, regardless of consequence, for with hesitation will come disappointment and a lack of respect for the Charismatic Singing Archer. ===== Good session

Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: Garrett really seemed to half a sense of purpose and control about the group‘s direction and needs in this turbulent session, it was impressive as that seems to not be an easy task. It was good to see someone with initiative and voice, but perhaps his selfish/self-centered tendencies and motives were somewhat less obvious [present]? A skillful display of both could be truly impressive.

[GarrettX's reply to comment: oh but it happens! It's just that Garrett's real subtle about it... If only you knew all that goes on behind your back....

Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: What I can‘t seem to figure out is if Garrett and Gwen are or are not a couple. If Garrett makes the decisions for the party or if it is Darago or Fenwald. What the motivation of this mission TRULY is, and who in the group knows it‘s importance to Demoraz. Perhaps Garrett could say a bit more, from a player‘s perspective. Humorous scene in 8Blades Inn when singing the song over Darago‘s bad joke(s). Nice game.

Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: The cloud of leadership about the group is more elusive and concealing now than before, though the discipline of the group seemed improved, save for Gwen‘s dissapointment over attention. Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: A potential leader in his own right, I think he might be careful what he wishes for as he might not like that which he gets. An unruly group indeed, it will take a large degree of trust to coerce a group of miscreants such as this into some ‘greater‘ goal. Can a being of motives in his own right such as Garrett find a way to gain that trust with such an array of minds?

Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: No luck with the race, it appears the longbow competition was more to your liking. Well, luck this time shines upon the Dandy Musing Half Human, however questionable the means might have been. Your feeble attempts at getting under my skin show how little you know of either Saraphin or myself, but your mischief did not go unnoticed, as my volley may have shown a little too clearly. === Great session, nice work, in the arena and out. Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: It appears thou might be better with a lyric, a tune, or even a business than with that bow, friend... for thine arrows didst have trouble finding their mark. Luck of the day perhaps.... or diluted elven blood maybe to blame.... Still Another fine evening of song, verse, and revelry to be had in thine establishment. Doest thou realize the bond these contests do form among those that might normally only hate? My guess is another purpose is at thy heart, from what I have heard.
07/14/04
Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: Hail to thee, a finer establishment than I‘d thought a half human to run. And fine performances all around... actually an enjoyable evening in a seemingly pleasant tavern.... but there must be more to this place than that. Still, if there‘s a contest of bows to be held, let it be known that the Golden Elf that is not in prison will be eager to prove his skills... Lamenting your retirement before it is to be? Do your years pass so quickly that age finds you before your time? I must say, that is music to these pointed ears to hear that the Fire for Tyrrany and Conquest is leaving the heart of at least one of the Leaders of Demoraz.

Comments in reference to the character Garrett Mensbane a Half-Elf: (Played the “fringer“ very well. Stayed to the edge of the group. Usually scouting. Crafted items to aid in our quest. A little quiet but I look forward to next session.)

Comments in reference to the character Garrett Einhorne a human:Sorry you were late. You missed a lot of discussion. And murder. Interesting how Garrett sees the destruction of several races of people as part of some kind of cosmic balance. It would be great to find out why he feels that way. Is it because of his god? His childhood? Indigestion?

Comments in reference to the character Garrett Einhorne a human: Nice job this game. I'd like to see Garrett take on more of a leadership role now that we are dealing with beings from hell. That seems to be his department. Perhaps he can come up with some ideas to get us out of this little

Comments in reference to the character Garrett Einhorne a human:

As usual, Garrett was there with healing spells when we needed them most (coming down from the mountain). I enjoyed the way you played his reaction to Sam and Flanic's deaths and to Gambolar's exchange with the Wizard of the Sea. Nicely played, as usual. Looking forward to next game, to see how Garrett responds to the Wizard's comments.

Comments in reference to the character Garrett Einhorne a human: I think you handled the lack of food and water very well. Nice use of the emote wand for that. Now, just need to get Garrett to a high enough level that he can banish those Balors...

A wonderful job, as always. From what I understand Garrett healed several people--and even saved Gambolar from joining a bunch of us on the Fugue Plane--before falling, himself. Bravo. It's a real pleasure to game with you each week. I was curious to see Garrett's reaction to being resurrected by the power of a god other than his own, but if you played it, I missed it. And then, later in the same game, Garrett was willing to risk oblivion to help the PCs who used the mysterious portal. Nice touch, though it would have been neat to get some meaty role-playing in there before you stepped into the portal. Oh well, this group is always doing something death-defying. Maybe next time. Ha ha. Great playing with you!
05/28/03
Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): ------------------------- I must admit, it was a nice touch when you decided to "sacrifice" yourself by going through the glowing portal. Very "Cleric tending his flock" like. Nice job, and I look forward to gaming next week with you.

Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): -------------------------
Happy to see that Garrett more or less back to his "old self" this time. Aside from the usual congrats on healing and spell support, I liked how you RPed Helix's demise. A lot of people missed it, but I saw it and thought it was a nice touch. Well done.
05/22/03
Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): ------------------------- Your heals keep them healthy, your prays keep them sane. I am truely sorry I missed out on your actions while I was up on the death plane :( Excelent job as always. M.D.
05/22/03
Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): -------------------------You know, I think I've neglected brother Garret for too long. I will have to see if a relationship of some sort will have to be sparked up. He's a good fellow and I know his player plays him well. So if nothing else I'll see about getting him some more play time.
05/21/03
Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): ------------------------- It seems that Garrett is speaking his mind more often now, and I must say, I like it. It kind of comes off as a "coming out of a shell" type of thing, and I'm not sure if this was your intention or not, but it seems to be working quite well. Keep it up.

Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): -------------------------
You're really getting good at firing off those healing spells in combat. I'm impressed. There's more to Garrett than healing spells, though, and it's nice to see when you get the chance. I wish there was more interaction between our characters this game because I love playing off your character's reactions. Oh well, it only makes me look forward to playing with you next that much more.

Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): ------------------------- What would we do without our priest. Die for sure. Thanx for doing what you do best Garrett... keeping us alive and moving.
05/08/03
Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): ------------------------- There is much more to being a cleric than simply being there with the right spells at the right time. You do a good job of showing this. I am grateful not only for the cures that you cast, but the companionship and guidance you provide along the way.
05/07/03
Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): Ah the unappreciated healer. You keep them strong and healthy and yet they seem to take you for granite. *sighs* And then turn and question your abilities. (hehe sorry the dice really did not like you last night) M.D.
05/07/03
Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): ------------------------- Wherever a party member is hurt, he is there. Wherever a cut neck bleeds or a broken arm hurts, he is there. It could be argued that you bring bad luck... but I don't buy that. Nice job with the idea of climbing down to heal Darago so that he could climb up. It was a good idea, even if it didn't work completely. A pleasure gaming with you.

Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): -------------------------
As always it was a real pleasure gaming with you. You really bring Garrett's compassion and concern for his fellows thru in your role-playing (except maybe for those who will be affected by the destruction of the gems, ha ha). Not much constructive criticism I can come up with this time around... I guess I'll have to pay closer attention ;-) Terrific *game* skills, firing off the right spells at the right times. I mostly see healing spells, but I know you cast others. Very impressive. A joy to game with.
05/01/03
Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): ------------------------- Well played... cept gotta keep a good eye on everyones life... dont know wheither it was because you were dry of healing spells.. but few times i noticed the group injured and pushing on... not a good thing. But other then that good roleplaying and teamwork. Good job.

Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): Nice Job at playing the angry cleric and renewing your faith. Also excellent job of trying to keep Gam safe in the inn. M.D.
04/30/03
Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): ------------------------- It seems that a bit more of Garrett's personality came out this game... or maybe it was just his frustration. The small explosion with the merchant was unexpected, but I don't think it was out of character. In fact, I think that it is about time that Garrett got "fed up" with someone, and decided to speak his mind... even if he still kept the "air of politeness" while he did. Nicely done, and very cleric-like.
04/30/03
Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human):(+) RP (+) PS Didn't get much interaction with you this session but what I did was well played out. The guard disapointed in your loosing faith and you convencing him you haven't and then blessing him was a great touch. - K

Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): ------------------------- The clericness of your character is coming through more and more. Your consultation with Gambolar on the morality of the various options that confront the group was very well done, as well as your service as a spiritual leader.

Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): -------------------------
Fun to watch Garrett rationalize away the consequences of destroying the gems by way of karmic balance. Ha ha. There's a cleric for you. Great interaction between you and Gam about going into the bordello. Be nice to hear Garrett invoke his god's name every now and then, maybe to punctuate his thoughts/feelings. A likable and dependable character, as always. See you next week!
04/23/03
Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): Excelent way to defend the group. Nice to see Garrett take true heart in something. M.D.
04/16/03
Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): ------------------------- It seems that our cleric has found another roll as a mediator. I was glad to see that you were also concerned with finding out WHY Gambolar was a wanted halfling. Once again, it was great gaming with you.
04/16/03
Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): ------------------------- Garret, I love your irritation at Egon trying to pull rank. It really give the situation a more tangible feel. When you had something to say it was insightful, and you were great and being a Cleric and man of . . . I forgot your Gods name. Starts with a V, has five letters. Anywho, great fun.

Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): ------------------------- Ahh what would we do without our cleric. die. Nicely played, thought you did a fine job this session for what i saw of you. Well played.

Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): Our beloved cleric and his good deeds bought the entire party a whole messa XP. What a kind and caring fellow who keeps his fellows in the party and the fellows in the outside world all happy as clams. Good people. I wonder how much RPing you actually have to do, I suspect Garrets player is good people, too. ;)

Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): -------------------------It seems you've been deemed impromptu leader of the group and, if me vision is correct you wear the role marvolously. Everyone respects you and you them. Who could ask for anything more?
03/13/03
Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): ------------------------- Glad you could be here this session Garrett, you played very well. Just like to see more of the Faith side of his background....i feel that a priests faith should be the majority of his personality (like being a nun or something your whole life changes to what you believe) i've seen couple references from time to time, just sayin lez see more :) well played, see ya next week
02/27/03
Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human): ------------------------- I think that the forced isolation with Gambolar (who is an excellent roleplayer himself) was to your benefit. With nothing else to do, you focused on your character and I saw an interesting person begin to emerge -- things that carried through into the time when the rest of the group was together again. It was nice to see. But . . . quit dying. It's bad for morale.
02/26/03
Character Played: Garrett Einhorne (human):The roleplaying with Gambolar while waiting for the others instead of rushing off gets you my 10 in RP. Then keeping the group alive gets you my 10 in teamwork. Both Resulting in my choice for BIG. - Kadarr

Character Played: Garrett Einhorn (human): ------------------------- I would have to classify you as the most team-oriented player in the campaign -- less concerned with the individual and more concerned with the group. It is very nice to have a character around with a strong sense of responsibility.
