There was nothing nice about him, except his respect and love for his family. The air of mystique about what took place between him and Teira, when “Pops“ questioned him about “Stills“‘s girl was priceless.

Greer is a great character. An orderly half orc, who‘s willing to help so long as there‘s some sort of structure involved. He‘s funny, and takes the jibes with a grain of salt. I‘m looking forward to see how his character would evolve, and I know that I have some questions as to how he‘d handle his character in certain situations that I can think of, but those are all hypothetical.

You have a right to roleplay tough, mean and greedy; but, it‘ll slowly wear on morale of the party to a point of causing problems at some point. Well-done character if you intended to be a loner; but, it‘ll backfire eventually. It might even cost us some of the newer players.
[guybo's reply to comment: If the rest of the party confronts Berthune, she will back down readily. I've been hinting at that but no one's done it. Being that Berthune is greedy and self centered she can't be expected to share the wealth. However, if someone strong arms her, her natural cowardice will force her to share. ]

Nalbienne did really well with this module, roleplaying his relationship with Janice (in spite of her ISP problems) and his character's near brush with death out very well. A lot of fun to play with, as usual!

Nal stood bravely up to his captors, and showed bravery bordering on his typical foolhardiness when exploring a dungeon without weapons or armor...which is exactly in keeping with character :)
I know Nal is that way, but I do wish he could slow down sometimes and smell the toadstools...if that's just how Nal is (and I think that's probably the case), then fine. But if there's wiggle room for more contemplation, all the better.

Comments in reference to the character Nalbienne An'Elbereth a 1/2 Elf: Great leadership qualities even when no set leader was really established. He really stepped up and did well since Colvin took a leave of absense. He has an interesting style of soul-searching (taking time out to understand why we are doing what we are doing) and urgency (because people's lives and freedoms are at stake). The DM wants us to not run so much; but, I prefer running/walking to be a roleplaying decision (trying to not draw attention from city guards and such in a city vs urgency of the mission). Just don't run 100% of the time simply because you aren't using the Detect Mode to slow you down to a walk for appearances sake, while in constant motion (constant motion tends to be max speed, while appears as running normally instead of that being a special mode). In fact, flip on stealth and detect and it looks like you're carrying a heavy burden (sometimes a roleplaying thing).

Good roleplaying (and good explaining that the rudeness towards dwarves was strictly roleplaying, nothing OOC/personal towards the players).
One suggestion, watch the use of "Partyspeak" particularly when some members of the party are very out-of-earshot range. Just use it when the party is transitioning areas or when you absolutely have to make sure the DM's need to hear you say something to the party, otherwise it gives the feeling of walkie-talkies in a low-tech world.

Roleplaying was excellent this game - grief over mistakes made, love for Janice, impulsiveness and bravery - it all came through. Not sure if Nal should be a little better at puzzle solving, or if puzzle solving is just not part of what he'd do as a character (I'd guess the latter). All in all, definitely best in game!
