Nice game tonight. Even though the game broke down about halfway, I was quite impressed with Cal‘s attempt to re-unify the party when everybody else seemed ready to throw in the towel. It‘s a shame that he‘s so quiet at other times; I wouldn‘t mind seeing more of Cal‘s strength of character.

Calendel Ilphukiir a Elf: As I posted elsewhere, it struck me how completelydifferent Xora and Cal are - how they use spells and abilities very differently. Cal is a much better spellcastert than Xora, though she has other talents. But today, when discussing withthe dragon, it seemed they got a little closer together. Maybe that elf isn‘t so hoplelessly stuck-up after all! :P

Cal seemed a little less grumpy today. He even comforted Fade, in an action surprisingly touching for him. Of course, the real fun was with him touching the memory orb of the Ulitharid and gaining a lot of its memories. Will that help or hinder him in this quest? We‘ll find out. ;)

Also good thing you made that evil act. According to Zax‘s comment, you killed the beggar! Vig would be impressed! Too bad he missed it! Though I‘m sure he‘ll have another opportunity. I almost hoped he‘d disapprove of Fade‘s becoming dragon disciple, as he‘s very good at providing an interesting counterpoint to the cheerful and sometimes overly chummy party atmosphere. Vig probably woudn‘t have gotten the Staff if it wasn‘t for Cal‘s arguments, which actually convinced the group. It was also interesting when the elves pool showed images of betrayal, and while everyone else showed suspicion towards Vig, Cal only said “I wonder who it will be..“. Your neutrality is creating some interesting situations, and some trust even, though even Vig wonders sometimes if Cal is trying to gain something from these situations. Well done. I have a LOT of fun playing with you. -FP

I like the dark and mysterious rogue approach, but you have A LOT written up in your backstory, (which is excellent by the way) try to bring it out somehow. -Thebor
