Reviews To Date for Kraylor
11/04/06
Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: Kebur gets my BIG vote tonight for great characterization in dealing with the return to the destruction of his home and the kidnapping of his family. Very understated, but very much in character! Great job!
11/03/06
Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: BIG love for the big man this week. The session was really geared toward Kebur and he shone in the spotlight - both in RP and in combat. The spirits are pleased.

Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: Kebur gets my BIG vote this week for all the little nuances that were displayed this week. These little nuances (like jumping down from the cliff enbankment instead of taking the long way around, like giving the captured bottle of rotgut to the kids as he came through the gate, like going behind the bar and surveying - and sampling - the stock while the Militia Commander was trying to explain the murder) are quietly done without a lot of fanfare by the player. And you have to pay attention to catch some of these throwaway moments. It‘s very entertaining to watch.

Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: Maul: 1 Black Ravens: 0. Hope you enjoyed your rum. :)

Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: Kebur is a very subtly-crafted character, and not the stereotypical manic barbarian. What you see is generally NOT what you get, but you have to watch carefully to see some what Kebur does and says.

Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: An absolutely priceless night! For a larger-than-life kinda character, there is a lot of subtlety in what Kebur does. For example, when Samantha kicked Kebur while in his drunken stupor, he “smiled warmly.“ The stripping off of his armor to run naked through the streets of Targos after everybody complained that he smelled was another sweet moment. That‘s why Kebur gets my BIG vote this time.
09/15/06
Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: Who would have thought that the barbarian would use tactics? *wide eyes* Seriously, great effort on taunting the bad guys! Firestar is definitely going to have to take that into account in future planning.
08/25/06
Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: What I‘ve really grown to enjoy watching Kraylor play Kebur is his consistency in the character. Regardless of what the rest of the party does, Kebur is Kebur. I‘m starting to think Kraylor is Kebur for that matter. It takes a special kind of player to really get into a Barbarian... and the guy who begs the DM for an ambush while the rest of the group is standing around arguing tactics in the middle of a dungeon is just that kind of player. Wonderful character.
08/25/06
Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: Playing a barbarian who loves to charge heedlessly into battle must be difficult for a player who well understands the consequences of doing so, so I admire how Kebur is played. The interesting thing that I‘ve noticed is that regardless of how reckless Kebur seems, he‘s always in the thick of things to draw the biggest problems to him instead of the weaker characters. Kebur is also a subtly-played character and it is easy to miss some of the throwaway lines. Good job!
08/25/06
Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: quiet but interesting char.
08/18/06
Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: It was a good touch when Kebur knelt to pray to his god before we . . . ahem . . . assaulted the goblin camp. His off-hand comments often seem like throw-away lines -- until they sink in! Very cleverly done!
08/18/06
Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: (Add Comments Here) Awfully glad Kebur and Gringa were able to make it in time for this week‘s session. Hope everything is ok in RL. Not so okay in game for those two, but definitely adds an interesting wrinkle to next weeks game.
08/13/06
Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: (The best Tempus fearing barbarian I ever met. Kebur never ceases to amaze and humor me. The side comments keep me rolling.)
08/11/06
Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: I laughed when I saw Kebur‘s side comment about “coddling the females“ as everyone gathered around Firestar to see what was wrong with her. Nice touch! The other thing I like is Kebur‘s quiet devotion to Tempus. It‘s understated but very well done.
08/11/06
Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: Some warrior characters struggle with role playing. They see that the Warrior character‘s role is to jump up to the front in combat, and hit everything in front of them as hard as they can, as fast as they can. While Kebur blows through goblin hordes like the Finger of God with that freakin‘ flaming greatsword, what REALLY makes him special is his speech, mannerisms & personality. If anything, Kebur has taught me that if I want a monster NPC to give valuable information to the party, I need to give them enough HP‘s to survive a Crit on a Throwing Axe.
08/05/06
Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: (Every group needs a brute, but I have never met one like Kebur. With a personality that could completely clash with the group, Kebur gives the group a tad bit of direction and has us roll on the floor laughing more often then not!)
08/04/06
Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: What can I say about Kebur? (Didn‘t I start my Kebur review like this last week?) Sometimes players put something into a character that‘s tangible and defineable. You can say “This is a great character because the player (fill in the blank.)“ Kebur defies labelling. He is the embodiment of the barbarian spirit, completely fearless, and absolutely hilarious when he wants to be. But, when the poo hits the fan, there‘s no one else you want in between you and the baddies.
08/04/06
Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: I loved Kebur‘s “Here, let me try MY lockpick!“ and then proceeding to try to bash the door down with his axe. Probably would have worked under most circumstances! Ha! But seriously, there is a fine line being walked here, and it‘s being masterfully done. Being the individualist barbarian yet fully supporting the party efforts is a tough act to keep up!
07/29/06
Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: (Kebur definately made me laugh. I haven‘t had much time to enjoy the character but now I will in the future.)

Comments in reference to the character Kebur Krakensbloode a Human: Kebur is different, I can say that! I get the feeling that there are hidden depths behind the grunted responses. But he is a lot of fun to watch!

I think Threnody is becoming more and more an important figure in the campaign. That is a scary thought O_o!
05/10/05
Threnody a Unknown - An unknown is right. A very intriguing and suprising character that is a good addition to the party and provides some great roleplay.
05/09/05
B.I.G..totally entertaining, utterly convincing and very very scary.
05/03/05
Again best player award - even though Thren came in much later, she was played very well.
05/03/05
Comments in reference to the character Threnody a Unknown: (Add Comments Here) Too bad that you had to miss most of this session. Unraveling your real story would have been interesting. Otherwise Thren always keeps me guessing (some at least) as to what is coming next. -W
05/02/05
Brief but cool as always
04/20/05
The request at the start of the campaign to think outside the NWN engine was really crystallized in your roleplay in this session Kray, truly superb, utterly flawless, best in game for this session. Without doubt one of the most mysterious and interesting characters I have seen roleplayed either as DM or player, sublime.
04/20/05
Comments in reference to the character Threnody a Unknown: A-ma-zing! I didn‘t trust my eyes. Cannot wait to see more of Threnody! Kray, you made my day :) - Al
04/19/05
Threnody displayed very good roleplaying and living true to the character that aided in the parties suspicions. Imaginative and believably played. Awesome
04/19/05
Comments in reference to the character Threnody a Unknown: (Add Comments Here) Wonderful! The RP of Threnody left me speechless. A masterful touch, truly! Keep up the good RP!
04/06/05
To RP this character takes a LOT of talent - and you are pulling it off. Wonderful stuff.
04/05/05
Very subtle and well done, a chance to really start to see her character develop this session, truly well played, really looking forward to seeing how she works out.
03/22/05
Comments in reference to the character Threnody a Unknown: I am awed at how Threnody is played. As a non-standard race, the player does a magnificent job of RPing her. A stunning bit of RP, and I am sure, that it will only get better. Threnody seems to have a natural air of just fitting in. Very non-chalant, and she just...fits. In fact, the RP is so mesmerizing, that I almost missed the beginning of a crucial combat begin, because I was captivated by Threnody‘s actions, and was trying to figure them out! Truly remarkable.
03/22/05
Threnody was an interesting and certainly different character, fitting in well and did display good roleplay. Look forward to see how Threnody progresses.
03/22/05
Threnody is a strange and quirky character, I‘m never sure what she‘s going to do next. A clever change from the usual run-of-the-mill adventurer.
03/22/05
Threnody is quite the enigma. I still haven‘t figured her out. That is what I like about her! For her intrigue and roleplaying might, I give her BPIG.

03/21/05
Awesome, of all the seven party members, Threnody has me wondering where it will go, truly convincing RP from the master.
03/08/05
Comments in reference to the character Threnody a Unknown: (Add Comments Here)I‘m not sure what to make of Threnody, which is the point...I guess. Terribly mysterious in a good way. Great marks for consistency. -W
03/08/05
Comments in reference to the character Threnody a Unknown: This is the first time ever I checked “outlandish“. A very obscure but interesting char. Looking forward to see more of her :)
03/08/05
Interesting and unsual character.
03/07/05
Beaten out to B.I.G only by the fair cleric of Selune, awesome stuff..timing your arrival like that was awesome..made a nice twist..she is a most interesting char and I need to work something into the story to make the most of it...awesome character played by an awesome RP‘er, can‘t wait for the next session..did I say awesome too many times??..ahh..the heck with it..its deserved

Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: Jacia was unavoidably detained - maybe next game.
04/29/04
Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: Jacia saved the day, finding the lost sable and re-uniting the group. Good game!
04/29/04
Jacia‘s brilliant play saved the entire group from a TPK. ‘Nuff said.
04/28/04
Awesome as always
04/16/04
Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: Jacia is a greatly fun character, always coming up with wacky ideas. I fear I drowned you in lore this week, but you survived the flood very well. Good game!
04/09/04
*grins* Awesome job as always, your roleplaying is an inspiration. The scene with the half-open pack had me in stitches, I had a really clear mental image of that scene :)
04/08/04
Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: Jacia is an enigma. Sometimes she seems very group oriented, sometimes she is out in left field, adding to the ambient chaos. Tonight I felt she was more group-oriented, which is good, this group often has trouble staying together, and at times Jacia helped keep them together. Good RP interactions all along, just be careful that Jacia‘s petty larceny doesn‘t prevent the group seeing important quest items. Good game!

04/07/04
Jacia, very believable. Her approach to things in amazing and well roleplayed.
04/07/04
Jacia gave me many laugh-out-loud moments tonight. Always a pleasure...
04/07/04
I know you wanted to open those tomes so bad! LOL I was ready to come slap your fingers if you tried to touch *wink* Luckily the ever curious Jacia was on her a-game tonight. Was a very good session and it feels like we accomplished something bug.
04/06/04
Shea is innovative in her actions and reactions to others in the group and the surroundings. Shea always contributes to the enjoyment of the campaign and making the situation “real“. The player is always in charater and truly creates a fun environment with his role playing style.
04/02/04
Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: Jacia was a great part of the roleplayed situations, especially in the Beastlands, trying to deal with the mad Kel. Trouble loomed, however, each time she went poking her nose around the temple and the tomb. Not out of character, as such, but very dangerous stuff. Good game!
04/01/04
I just so enjoy playing with Jacia, it tends to make each of these sessions for me, utterly convincing, always bringing a smile when we are in a tight spot, always attentive to whats happening with other chars. Just all round superb.
04/01/04
Once again a good performance by Jacia, believable and very well played.
03/26/04
I love playing with Jacia, a wonderful character played by a very skilled roleplayer. I have learnt from you. I need to thank you for helping my character grow, I am having a hard time with him at the moment and you are really helping. Loved the “hollywood kiss“!!!
03/26/04
Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: Another great game, with excellent roleplaying. You were the cement keeping the party together, comforting Noin, and bringing out Khaimas‘s story. Great stuff!
03/25/04
Jacia is a brilliant character and expertly played. I look forward to watching her be herself.
03/25/04
Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: Another great performance by a brilliantly roleplayed character.
03/25/04
Heh, perfect game to respond to her post about always being taken care of, she ened up doing all the taking care of this time!
03/25/04
Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: (Add Comments Here) Great roleplayer, great teammate.
03/18/04
Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: Jacia was goofier than even, in a fun sort of way. She seemed to have radical mood swings, but was hilarious the way she dealt with new lore and distributing it to her pals. Great stuff!
03/18/04
Jacia has done it again. Not only involved in the main story but likes to take time to make those npc conversations really something else. Very well played as always.
03/18/04
Comments in reference to Jacia: I love having Jacia on my team, even though she‘s often a pain in the butt. My one critique--outside of game sessions, I‘d like to see more IC posts from her in the gaming forum: her personal notes, songs, and scraps of lore she‘s picked up.
03/18/04
Urm....not much to say, Jacia is always just that... Jacia. Always is always will be, and always was. Not much more to say, other than that i‘ll be carrying rocks alot more often :P
03/18/04
Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: (Add Comments Here) Very believable character. Forgetful..wandering off in her own world, nervous when in the spotlight, a Hostorian and Scholar at its finest.
03/11/04
Once again I thoroughly enjoyed playing with Jacia. She is an excellent all round character, utterly believable, fun to play with. Pathos when Khaimas bought the farm made the game for me
03/11/04
Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: Jacia is a great part of the group, and constantly has clever roleplay ideas. We got a little caught up in the action though, and I was unable to provide the lore she should‘ve had. More before next session!
03/11/04
Comments in reference to Jacia: As usual, you did outstanding roleplay with the Jacia character. Great session all around, thanks.
03/11/04
A finely played character that is inventive and intriguing to watch what she will do next...

Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: As always a great job of staying in character and continuing to develope that character in a consistent and believable fashon in the game. Very much fun to roleplay with.
02/26/04
Did a very good job convincing those she spoke with to do as she wished or gave up what she wanted to know. Impressive display.
02/26/04
Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: I loved Jacia‘s interaction with the NPCs in town, though apparently at least one other player thought her flirting went a little too far. Good work and keep giving us the bardic angle - loved the songs.
02/26/04
Comments in reference to Jacia: You roleplay Jacia‘s character so well it‘s almost scary. I bet you‘re either a writer or an actor. Anyway, this was an excellent game and you were one of the best players in it. I gave my BIG to Kel tonight but it was a really close call. Thanks for your part in an outstanding session.
02/26/04
Jacia was one of the stars of last night‘s session. Effervescent, bubbly, an eternal optimist, and not afraid to use her charms to get what she wanted, I only hope those charms get her into more trouble than she‘s prepared for. Can‘t wait to see what‘s in the future for Jacia.
02/26/04
Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: Wery well roleplayed and consistent character. I really like how Jacia does what it is in character to do , not necessarily the wisest course of action. Jacia is a fun charcter and I really like having her in the party.

Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: Jacia was a great part of the group, superbly roleplayed - and a little air-headed, which seems to fit into her personality well. The one thing I haven‘t really seen is much of a real “bardic“ presence. Sure, she casts her bard spells and songs but... how about a ballad or two on the journal forums?

Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: What can I say about someone who saved my skin at least twice, had me lauging one minute and admiring her roleplaying the next - excellent - cant wait to play again
01/29/04
I like the way you roleplay Jacia but she was a little over-the-top this session. Maybe dial it down a notch?
01/26/04
Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: Jacia is a very intense character, always having ideas to contribute, and it was a pleasure seeing her work with both “teams“ this week.
01/26/04
Shae Radi a Human: Druid Well Played (Low DEX) Druid. If you pay attention to the chat window you will see Shae tripping or bumping into various objects. Player stays in character throughout the game session, and keeps the character commenting and reacting to events all night. A great job.
01/26/04
Comments in reference to the character Chae Radi a Human: Played adapting to the city well; worked well with the group
01/26/04
Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: (Add Comments Here) Got my vote for best player. I love the mood- personality swings. Fear & courage, pessimist then optimist. The stammering, etc. I tend to like the chatty characters. And if the can dance, it‘s just icing on the cake. -W

Jacia Siger: It was a pleasure to have Jacia join us in a Wed session again. You play this char really well and she‘s fun to have around. You provided lots of clever ideas this session, too--you were a great asset to the team. Thanks.

Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: Jacia was a good part of the team, but I had the impression she was a little more distant this time. It‘s always tough for a bard to find a niche in a group.

Welcome to the B team. Interesting to have a overly-polite, naive girl mixing in with this group--the rest of us have more tough, gritty personalities. Great job of staying in character tonight. I think we‘re going to need those lore skills so I hope you keep coming on Weds.
11/27/03
Comments in reference to the character Jacia Siger a Human: Jacia made a good debut in the campaign, and fulfills a much-needed role. It is already becoming apparent that several items of lore are going to be key parts of this campaign, and Jacia is the first character specializing in lore - a vital role.

Character Played: Mendarikas Ashborn (Human): ------------------------- Great interaction with other players. Definitely makes a difference in the party. It felt like he was trying to recreate a kensai/wizard... though with 3ed, isn't very effective.
