Reviews To Date for Tarridus

Comments in reference to the character Nheloron a something not quite human: The mysterious cleric, not sure what to make of him yet, but I‘m looking forward to finding out. Very well played...LION

Comments in reference to the character Magus Windwaker a Human: (Add Comments Here)Truly, you are one of the best rp‘ers out there, hands down, when it comes to playing neutral characters. Nothing against your chars of other alignments, but it‘s a gift to be able to understand what “neutral“ means, and you effortlessly capture that in Magus (along with Edwin, another great neutral char of yours). A pleasure as always. - PC

Comments in reference to the character Magus Windwaker a Human: A very interesting and believable character. His exasperation with the gung-ho cleric was beautiful to behold. Bravo!

Comments in reference to the character Kerino Isaria a Human: I enjoyed seeing Kerino‘s character as an officer of the Empire as we play. His reactions to the stranger and to magic seemed very in character, yet one senses that he may be asking questions about what‘s he‘s learned is “true.“

Comments in reference to the character Grissh Steinhammer a Dwarf: Nice addition to our group - Grissh joined a campaign in-progress and smoothly roleplayed the long-lost cousin. And he came in handy in combat too.... BIG!

Comments in reference to the character Grissh Steinhammer a Dwarf: (Add Comments Here) Welcome cousin. Glad te ha‘e ye fighting at oor side.

A very believable character, It is amusing to experience Bigo‘s childlike curiosity for all things magical. Had a great time playing with Bigo. We didn‘t have a healer in the group but you would not have know it since Bigo was quick to take on the role of healer to the best of his abilities.

Comments in reference to the character Bigo Bren a Gnome: Nicely done with the quirky mage routine. I like it.
07/08/05
Absent minded gnome wizard, looks like this guy is going to be loads of fun to interact with. Player was late to game but roleplayed it exceptionally well, and had to leave early due to real life concerns, which is too bad, I really was enjoying thier roleplay.

Comments in reference to the character Samael a Human: Not everyone appreciates Samael‘s blinding charm, it seems... but that‘s what you get when you try to charm a charmer. And a mad one, at that.
03/20/05
Comments in reference to the character Samael a Human: (Add Comments Here)was it ever fun watching samael this time :). Think he might of dug himself a bit deep LOL with the countess-sister *laughs hard* Like that comment about being a married man *grins* any time Pilgrim can help let me know :) LRP
03/20/05
Comments in reference to the character Samael a Human: A perfect Toreador, Samael just can‘t resist beauty (wherever it is found - and, in fact, he often finds beauty where others do not) and remains really passionate about his words and his music. But, obviously, there‘s something he‘s not telling us. I‘ll enjoy discovering his secrets, one by one.
03/19/05
Comments in reference to the character Samael a Human: I am not one to dictate people how to roleplay their characters, yet I want to say that it is becoming a bit hard to discern Samael from Gabrielus, as they are both brunette, dressed almost the same, both polite and well-mannered and so on. Although when smooth-talking and the violin come out, Samael sets himself apart, but perhaps his personality should become more apparent during the rest of the time too. I loved the way he interacted with Julienne, yet as a little tidbit: Kindred don‘t make love anymore. So... get your own conclusions from that - Anya

Comments in reference to the character Ashrym Jarystine a Silver Elf: (Add Comments Here): Great character and his depth is developing nicely. It‘s nice to feel like our chars are ‘getting to know one another.‘
03/15/05
Comments in reference to the character Grissh Ungol a Half-Orc: So far I love this character. It seems a bit stereotypical, but so well done that it was easy to overlook that. I‘m hoping that as I get to know this character better he/she/it(?) breaks away from the stereotype and becomes a unique and truly great character.
03/14/05
Comments in reference to the character Grissh Ungol a Half-Orc: (Add Comments Here) Tarridus, you‘re doing a great job with this character. He was absolutely the unknowing comedian of the the night. Great job. BBP

Comments in reference to the character Grissh Ungol a Half-Orc: (Add Comments Here) Grissh fits in very well in the game and spices the role play very well
03/13/05
Comments in reference to the character Samael a Human: Wonderful! Very subtle character, Samael DOES have more than one thing in common with Gabrielus. His mannerisms and perfectly timed words really got me thinking what kind of man he really is. The moments when he took his violin in his hands seemed very personal for him - very Toreador. There‘s still a lot of mystery about Samael, and I‘m going to enjoy discovering this character little by little! Good stuff!
03/13/05
Comments in reference to the character Samael a Human: (Add Comments Here)wondering, if of all of us, Samael isn‘t having the easiest time of the switch in some ways. He‘s mr expediante for sure, using charm and wit and music and soomth words to pave the way further. Underneath all that is someone looking for the main chance, a calculating fellow gg LRP
03/13/05
Comments in reference to the character Samael a Human: It‘s hard to comment on Samael. So much of his interaction is done one-on-one, away from the group as a whole. He seems(to me anyway) to be an outsider, even if he is part of our little ‘coterie‘. Of course, it might just be that he‘s still a little stunned by having his flirtations stymied by having a raucous, chainmail clad sword wielder and a wolf as the only two females around. He _did_ seem to perk up around Sylvia and her maid. -K
03/11/05
Comments in reference to the character Samael a Human: Somewhat quiet ingame, but I attribute that to his dropping into an ongoing game in the second session. Came more into his element towards the end of the game. I‘m left wondering where the music he hears is from? Inside himself, or somewhere else...
03/11/05
Comments in reference to the character Samael a Human: (Add Comments Here)well welcome to the “party“ :). Yep as ahh Clio said, gotta another fancy pants for Pilgrim to tease. That‘ll take the pressure of Gab some :). I still laugh about something Samael said, as we were trapsing out about not asking for this or something. What a flirt he is, sounds like the last gal he stepped out with was more than he bargined for and he wound up with us? LRP
03/09/05
Comments in reference to the character Samael a Vampire: Very good roleplaying, given the fact that you were thrown into the midst of events. Samael is polite (many of the chars seem to be) and despite his feelings for Pilgrim‘s rowdy personality (not the nicest ones, let me tell you), he still manages to be charismatic and suave. Can‘t wait for you to sink deeper into his artsy, hedonistic nature...

Comments in reference to the character Ashrym Jarystine a Silver Elf: (Add Comments Here): It‘s always hard for a new player to come into a long-running campaign - and Ashrym seems to be doing a great job of fitting right in. Really beginning to get a good sense of his character - keep up the great work!
02/23/05
Comments in reference to the character Ashrym Jarystine a Silver Elf: This player has been a fairly recent addition to the campaign, and his contribution has been solid thus far. He took the RP hooks that I provided and integrated them flawlessly into his character concept. Since then he has often brought background elements into his play, which enriches the depth of his character. Looking forward to seeing how he develops in future sessions. -LB

Not everybody has a clear idea on how to play an elf, and your character really made me feel I was in front of an elf. It was an excellent game, and his participation allowed my character to start trusting on the group.
02/22/05
Comments in reference to the character Ashrym Jarystine a Silver Elf: Very believeable character in a tough situation: meeting new people and going through the thought process of “Should we trust each other?“ Believably accepted the new members into the party. Well played all these weeks. I enjoy your IC posts too. Friendly and loyal companion who I hope stays with us a long time. I enjoy your views on elven culture with the various facets of the game.

Comments in reference to the character Ashrym Jarystine a Silver Elf: I learned a lot more about Ash and his background in this session. Though the pace was quick and there wasn‘t always time to respond, Ash was RPd in a way that we got a good sense of his personality and some history. The interaction around the evil sword was especially well-done. BIG! Now if only we can get Ash some better protective gear! - Michael von Neitzel

Comments in reference to the character Grissh Ungol a Half-Orc: (Add Comments Here)Great great session. Comments in reference to the character Ashrym Jarystine a Silver Elf: Welcome to our group! I enjoyed the game and the way you RPd the meeting. Comments in reference to the character Tarridus Danias a Half-Elf: It was a great pleasure to play with Tarridus in this campaign. Tarridus, was intelligent, wise, compassionate and always kind, yet also, when necessary, a forthright man of action. It is a challenge to make one feels one knows a character in an NWN game, and yet at the end of this campaign, I feel that I know this character very well. Thank you for the memories. I look forward to playing with you again soon.
01/25/05
Comments in reference to the character Tarridus Danias a Half-Elf: Tarridus played particularly well off of Sayf and I thought lent some maturity and wisdom - quite appropriate for his character - to the party balance. Tarridus managed to be both thoughtful and involved, intelligently trying to interpret and solve the problems posed in the dreamworld. He also showed no lack of bravery in facing the party‘s fell enemies. Someone I would adventure with, regardless of the PC I was playing at the time, Tarridus helped make the Planewalkers: Dreamland campaign a special one. --Carlo
01/24/05
Comments in reference to the character Tarridus Danias a Half-Elf: A good session with Tarridus. As usual he provides the wisdom and mental capacity that the rest of us sometimes lack. His interaction with Simon and the numerous incarnations of Gustav were always spot on.
11/24/04
Comments in reference to the character Valdur Jarystine a Elf: Somehow, Valdur finds humor and irony even when faced with overwhelming odds and bleak chances for survival. His is a much needed voice amidst all this talk of death and killing.
11/24/04
Comments in reference to the character Valdur Jarystine a Elf: Ah, the comic relief. It‘s good to have you along in this grim, and dark party. Always a hoot, Valdur makes me laugh, smirk, and chortle while I play. Well done. -Ghool

Valdur Jarystine a Elf: Quite a difference in characters for both us Tarridus ;) I really enjoyed our first session out, Valdur was absolutely great. Your description was played out exactly as I had imagined the character. Brave, yet humorous. Finding the lighter side of dark events... all great. More, more!

Comments in reference to the character Edwin Talmaris a Human: Oh, Edwin- seeing him break free of his grief over his parents loss and find new hope in Nya was one of the best parts of the campaign. I don‘t know how you manage to have characters that are so good and so subtle at the same time. As always, a pleasure. --Lili (Good luck with that cemetary by the way- that place was a mess!)
10/26/04
“So, hey... Ed... Not all that much to be grim about now, huh? Huh? Fancy a game of squires later? Nobody is too old and serious to wave a wooden sword around, y‘know...“ Whee! The exact polar opposite of my character, I found Edwin‘s somber outlook to be a great inspiration. Heroes come in all shapes and sizes... But, as any good fairy tale will tell you, love conquers all ^.^ A member of the greatest group of players I‘ve ever seen in action. If any anonymous review reader person wants to, a PM to me will yield a detailed explaination of why. -Decider

Comments in reference to the character Edwin Talmaris a Human: Edwin was absolutely everwhere for the Vanthar finale. Whether tending to Nya, treating the wounded, speaking with the dead, or trying to provide moral support for the others. Excellent job.

Comments in reference to the character Edwin Talmaris a Human: (Add Comments Here)Edwin is generally fairly quiet, but one is always aware of him. And when he does say something, it is always meaningful. Deftly played.
10/18/04
Comments in reference to the character Edwin Talmaris a Human: Watching Edwin‘s deep, old wounds heal is one the most rewarding aspects of this campaign. You can‘t help routing for him...and hoping desperately that things work out with Nya, because I don‘t know what he‘d do if he got another heartache piled on top of the others. Very nice character.

Comments in reference to the character Edwin Talmaris a Human: It seems our characters make an odd parallel in their lives, even if they may be going different directions. A more in depth discussion, or confrontation, between them in the future is looking imminent. Assuming they will have time, and not be sent off on some crusade…
10/12/04
Comments in reference to the character Tarridus Danias a Half-Elf: Tarridus‘ depth of knowledge and his connection to Faerun came out in this game. This character is humane, kind and thoughtful, learned and humble. Great game!
09/14/04
Comments in reference to the character Edwin Talmaris a Human: Well, after two sessions of not reviewing him, I still unfortunately haven‘t paid enough attention to Edwin in game. My apologies. Your posts, however, have absolutely kicked butt.
09/13/04
Comments in reference to the character Edwin Talmaris a Human: (Add Comments Here)Sheesh. As I said previously, I am in DM heaven with my priest of Kelvemor. He brings this, “otherworldliness“ to the campaign..he has a spiritual aura about him that resonates and everyone in the party is aware of it. Wait until you start talking to the dead...*rubs hands with glee* Awesome, awesome char... PC
09/10/04
Comments in reference to the character Valdur ‘The Brave‘ a Moon-Elf: Valdur‘s love of the ladies will get him into serious trouble one day! Good and consistent roleplaying throughout the module. Played key roles and provided intelligent suggestions to the group. The player was able to mesh with a group of players they had never role played with (or so I‘m assuming since this is a one shot module).
09/09/04
Comments in reference to the character Valdur ‘The Brave‘ a Moon-Elf: Good roleplaying with dim-witted Korren. A bit messy in the tactics area later in the game, but then again, everyone was.
09/02/04
Comments in reference to the character Ikarus Darkmoon a Drow: *beats him with frozen tuna* Why can‘t you cut Ikarus a break?! The poor drow will only now get over his super-meltdown stage, and be able to relax a little, but now the party is going to be on the move again! And you didn‘t even use the baths! Gah! However split up the group was, good game, nontheless.
09/02/04
Comments in reference to the character Bigo Bren a Gnome: Bigo provided lots of entertainment during his time with our group, through his absent-minded ramblings. Although the character is pretty self-absorbed, the player seems so far to have a good sense of the importance of paying attention to what the group is doing, keeping up with everyone and not being disruptive, but without breaking character.
08/31/04
Edwin Talmaris a Human: Hmmm.. Edwin... such a mysterious character. Sympathetic and sad, yet at the same time, kinda scary and ominous. I‘m almost afraid to talk to him LOL! Certainly going to be an interesting character to get to know. Session 1? Excellent!

Comments in reference to the character Edwin Talmaris a Human: Splendid funeral, if I do say so! It was clear you spent some time considering what you were going to say, and the results were impressive. It was serious but not dour, simple and austere.
08/30/04
Comments in reference to the character Edwin Talmaris a Human: (Add Comments Here)With a stocked larder of outrageously good rp‘ers in the party, it wasn‘t easy, but Edwin gets my Best in Game Award..the burial rite was well thought out and it will stand out as one of the defining moments of the campaign..it was Edwin‘s time to shine no doubt. PC

Comments in reference to the character Valdur ‘The Brave‘ a Moon-Elf: (Add Comments Here): Wonderful combination of bravado and shyness, I get the impression of an adolescent elf...sure, he chases women, but would he know what to do if he caught one? ;) Good roleplaying, looking forward to next session.

Comments in reference to the character Valdur ‘The Brave‘ a Moon-Elf: He gets my BIG because of being able to be a leader and thus take the time to learn clues and ask questions, but also managed to give out glimpses of his personality in a rather large amount. The slight incosistency in the fact that he gives out compliments in a very elven-like poetic bravado, but receives them with a blush and an aww-shucks attitude, makes Valdur all the more likeable. Can‘t wait for more. -- Luv, Anya
08/17/04
Comments in reference to the character Tarridus Danias a Half-Elf: Tarridus provided another consistent session of quality roleplaying. From looking after the boy and interrogating our companions about Sigil you get the very real sense there are hidden depths to our monk companion. It will be interesting to see what happens once we reah Sigil (if even we do!)
08/17/04
Comments in reference to the character Tarridus Danias a Half-Elf: I very much enjoyed seeing Tarridus‘ kind efforts to help the “boy“. Great roleplay!
08/16/04
Comments in reference to the character Tarridus Danias a Half-Elf: I‘ll admit I‘m trying not to let my previous experience with this character cloud my char‘s perceptions. :-) Tarridus was pretty much as I remembered him, quiet, dependable, learned, and kind. “Boy“ certainly appreciated the special attention in a bewildering situation. --Lili

Comments in reference to the character Ikarus Darkmoon a Drow: great work it was pretty funny watching myself and vig running around trying to help both you and the wizard, interesting plot turn. can‘t wait for more.
07/29/04
Comments in reference to the character Ikarus Darkmoon a Drow: Shame on you. I thought for a brief moment that Ikarus could get away from being his depressing, tormented self. But I guess there is more to him than meets the eye, if Vhaeraun wants him that badly. I can‘t help but wonder where you are taking the character, internally, from here on out. I can see some special quest coming out of this, should you DM sometime. Excellent time gaming with you, as always. - Partnah

Comments in reference to the character Tarridus Danias a Half-Elf: I really like this character and how he reacts to the things that happen to him. Always looking out for the party and ever willing to help anyone less fortunate. A real asset to this group!
07/20/04
Comments in reference to the character Tarridus Danias a Half-Elf: Tarridus‘s roleplay is really immersive. I really enjoyed how he played cat-like games with the wyvern and noticed its lack of sting as in the fairy tale he read. Great game!

Comments in reference to the character Tarridus Danias a Half-Elf: From examining the storybooks for clues, dealing perceptively with the guardians, and in his reaction to learning Darius‘ deity, one from Faerun, like his own, I felt that I really learned many things about his character tonight. Great roleplaying!
07/05/04
Comments in reference to the character Tarridus Danias a Half-Elf: With our resident brains (Malston) sucked into a pocket dimension it fell to Tarridus to do our deep thinking this session. This of course in addition to his mean right hook! Always thinking things through but ready to lend a bit of muscle Tarridus is a valued member of the team!
07/05/04
Comments in reference to the character Tarridus Danias a Half-Elf: Over time, I‘ve been able to get a better sense of who Tarridus is. He is, in a personal sense, somewhere between being lost and knowing where and who he is; one gets the feeling this quest for him is as much a journey of self-discovery as it is to save Simon‘s soul. Tarridus‘ ability and desire to look at the bigger picture has made him someone that Sayf will look to for counsel and, increasingly, trust. A very un-flashy character, but one that has depth and realism. --Carlo

06/21/04
Comments in reference to the character Kerin Isaria a Human: I loved Kerin, with his “distrust“ bordering on fear of magic and his devotion to his fighting skills. Though we do always seem to come up with characters that are polar opposites- the sorceress and the fighter who hates magic, the godless wizard and the cleric- maybe I just need to stop playing mages. :) At least Anorith is nice about it. Anyway, very interesting character, really loved the firelord twist and I‘m interested to see how it plays into his personality.

Comments in reference to the character Ikarus Darkmoon a Drow: (Add Comments Here)The bickering of Ikarus and Kalefein was like watching a tennis game of spite. Great job, and I look forward to playing with Ikarus again.
06/09/04
Comments in reference to the character Ikarus Darkmoon a Drow: Ignoring Kalafein‘s request for help to bandage your own arm- that was cold, man. :) No matter how often we argued, I never saw Icarus truly angry until tonight. I guess he‘s pretty ticked off even though Kalafein et al did not technically abandon him in the crypt, but I suppose he sees it as semantics. Nevertheless, good to have you back, and I look forward to some of those RP sessions in coming weeks. --Lili

Comments in reference to the character Ikarus Darkmoon a Drow: At last, Ikarus appears! The bickering was everything I could have hoped for, for such a short amount of time. God, you two make a great, if opposed, RP team.

Comments in reference to the character Tarridus Danias a Half-Elf: Tarridus the monk came across as dedicated to the mission though like everyone a little unnerved about what they might find. When he asked what would happen if the ritual was interrupted, his voice trailed off dramatically. Great roleplaying! I look forward to getting to know this character better in coming weeks.

Comments in reference to the character Tarridus Danias a Half-Elf: The third character in our group that I have yet to fully interact with. I can see that a well rounded character is there but hopefully there will be more chance to RP in the future. I think its just a question of the party clicking together a bit better! Looking forwrad to next time!

Comments in reference to the character Kerin Isaria a Human: I think Kerin did a great job of showing the attitudes of his Char. He would expertly use emote stuff and *Char does* stuff so you could really get what was going on with him. He keppt his Charater perspective well.

Comments in reference to the character Bigo Bren a Gnome: Biiiigoooooo!!!!! Wizard supreme, indeed! Very entertaining. Although I have to check both good AND evil for alignment, for his paculier spasms into a truly frightening personality. Hah. BIG for being so entertaining.

Comments in reference to the character Bigo Bren a Gnome: You‘ve had Bigo out a few times, and it showed. I wish my character had been so polished. It can‘t have been easy, acting so absent minded while the rest of us were arguing...great job. Bigo is a lot of fun to play with.

Comments in reference to the character Ishgaarin Nirrihar a Dwarf (ordunnir): Man, this was really not your night was it? (How many times did you become a dwarven statue?) Still, some very excellent RP took place- I was about five seconds from letting you break out of that stone form when Tetzequil remembered to unfreeze you. Though it does make me wonder how things might have turned out if I had left the beholder death ray on...

Comments in reference to the character Ishgaarin Nirrihar a Dwarf (ordunnir): Poor dwarf, drawn into perhaps the most tense sort of quest a player can hope for, grouped with not-so-likeable, not-so-understandable sort of companions, and then REPEATEDLY turned into a garden ornament throughout the course of the adventure. He‘s certainly won my sympathy. Kudos to him(you) for not breaking down and becoming a ruthless scoundrel like the rest of them(us).

Comments in reference to the character Ishgaarin Nirrihar a Dwarf: Ah, Tar. My most cooperative player by far. :) Thanks for picking up a slightly unusual role. Ishgaarin himself I thought well-played, I loved his reaction to the cook. Good game as always. -Lil

Comments in reference to the character Ishgaarin Nirrihar a Dwarf: Poor misplaced dwarf. And a bit abused too? Excellently played. Sorry for the bit of spite from the gnome. Guess I can only say she didn‘t like the way he kept looking at her, like she was some halfling whelp. No hard feelings, right? ... Right..? ^_^

Comments in reference to the character Ikarus Darkmoon a Drow: Ikarus, what can I say? A believable cleric struggling to provide some measure of morality and ethics in a group severely lacking in either- I‘m surprised he hasn‘t worked himself into a state of hopeless depression *grins*. Splendid job in the crypt, sensing and being nervous around the undead, determination to root out the evil, etc. Kudos for surprising me too- you didn‘t always jump the way I expected in our numerous arguments and left me metaphorically sputtering. --Lilivati

Ikarus is the same as he was last time. Persistant, set in his ways and devoted. But he didn‘t get the last word this time :)

Comments in reference to the character Ikarus Darkmoon a Drow: (Add Comments Here) By the gods! if the monster dont get me first, these two drow will, with their heated argument one being a faithfull and one a faithless, it has became a religious war, one mocking and one defending, its only be a matter of time until an all out battle blows out, and we non-drow are forced to choose side , can we band out and survive the underdark or will we all die on each other swords and spells? : ) (Ikarus thumbs up for you, for such an interesting RPing experience and a fun time)

Comments in reference to the character Ikarus Darkmoon a Drow: a very interesting character, not everyday you see a drow with good intention, nice job with keeping the party together, and the occasional advice so we wont died every so often and also manage his healing duty as a cleric dutifully.(finally some cleric who understand his/her duty : )) cant wait for next session. lets open our character to each other more. ~In honor of my life, i shall lend thee the blade thy needed such till my favor with thee are repayed~

Comments in reference to the character Ikarus Darkmoon a Drow: Fun game. Ironic name for your character though (seeing as he‘s a drow) but maybe it makes sense for a follower of Eilastrae. I hope to learn more about Ikarus in the future.

Comments in reference to the character Tarridus a Half-Elf: (Add Comments Here) Nicely done. My only criticism is the way you emoted your characters thoughts. The same could effect could be accomplished a bit more subtly without the other PCs seeing directly into your head. Something like *looks at her with and expression of newfound respect*. But that‘s just a minor peeve of mine. Otherwise the character was very interesting and well played.
