Comments in reference to the character Sarcen a Halfling: The small little wizard is developing into a great addition to the group. Great vocabulary to use along with a sacastic / silly side at other times. Oh, and a competent caster!

Comments in reference to the character Sarcen a Halfling: (Add Comments Here) This little halfing continued to carry himself with poise and consistently projected that he was one wizard you did not want to mess with. He provided and excellent display of magic during the battle, and buffed the party members several times throughout the game. His overconfidence in his magic was voiced many times as he always seemed to believe nothing could stand against him and all problems would be solved with a well placed empowered fireball. Seeing him at the end of the battle, completely drained of strength, was a very nice touch, and things like this are what brought his character to the next level of realism. Great playing with you!

A very surly, almost scrooge-esque little wizard. I loved him! Well played!

Comments in reference to the character Sarcen a Halfling: (Add Comments Here) I really liked this halfling. I‘ve never seen a halfling played with such poise before, and the confident attitude that Sarcen had really conveyed the sense that he was a mage not to be trifled with. Seldom have I felt the mystery and dread that I‘ve always thought should accompany a wizard, but Sarcen pulled it off well. The smug wit of the halfling was scathing and he clearly considered himself above everyone else present. This is the first time I‘ve played with a halfling that was intimidating. Excellent job!

Comments in reference to the character Barzun a Human: Barzun is the leader of our little group. Without his steadfast calm and cool composure, we may have all been lost many times.
Finding out more about his ‘past‘ every session is quite interesting..
His skill in playing is on par with his skill as a DM in my view and that cannot be beaten. - Sleet

Something I really admire about your characterization of Barzun is the consistency of your attention to detail; a cleric‘s faith should be his life and Barzun clearly personifies this in every action. Whether it is a blessing for his companions, the prayer to bring peace to those who have suffered or just his own personal adherence to bring about some absolution for his past sins, Barzun epitomizes a man of faith. Making this character even more complete and adding an element of the self-doubt in all humanity, Barzun questions not his deity but the worthiness of himself to serve a god of compassion when he himself in the past has brought about the very suffering a vassal of Ilmater would give his life to prevent. This contradiction within Barzun makes for a fascinating character that you play with style. -Belfus

I am continually impressed with the completeness of Barzun's devotion to Ilmater; the consistency to which he professes his faith, even in quieter moments, is a testament to how well you as a player understand your own character. A cleric's behavior should be dictated by his spiritual beliefs and you convey that with both style and grace. BIG. -Belfus

As the adventure gains momentum, so too does Barzun's past intrude on the present. The discovery of human victims from the gnoll raid and in the orc caves serve as a painful reminder of his own atrocities committed in a life he'd rather forget entirely. Every weapon that turns up seems to haunt him with compelling temptation and he accepted ownership of a new crossbow with both profound sadness and perverse joy. His attentiveness to Ilmater's way is an excellent portrayal of a man of the divine and definitely one of the better representations I've seen of a cleric in my time on NWC. Superb performance. BIG. -Belfus

Barzun's past becomes increasingly apparent as he struggles to assert himself in his new life without being influenced by what lies behind him. A leader with a lack of confidence, he still maintains a high degree of effectiveness when providig group motivation. An intriguing man of faith. BIG. -Belfus

Barzun begis to crack slightly from the rigorous pursuit of the party's kobold nemesis' and the weight of his past is starting to show. He appears a man of complexity that tries to not only shield others from whatever dark mystery that lies at his core but shield himself from it as well. An excellent leader with the weight of the world on his shoulders. -Belfus
