Reviews To Date for Trent

Fantastic comeback! I knew Krahl would climb above the slime. You RP‘d him extremely well last night. :-)

He played a very interesting, funny character.

Krahl: Came this close... *holds up thumb and forefinger with a miniscule space between*...this close to getting on Jada‘s nerves. How dare he question Peadra or call down insults upon our fearless leader. Shame! Shame, I say! *wink*

[Trent's reply to comment: YOUR fearless leader. MY leader's a bag of bones about 500 miles to the Southeast. He says Hi, and thanks for the muffin recipe.

Krahl‘s biting comments are one of the highlights of the game, regularly trading sniping comments with those who dare to question his intellectual superiority or try to put him in his place. Paedra and Jada-Kai bearing the brunt of the “Red Dog‘s“ acid tongue. Trent has made this character truly come to life. Krahl may not be likeable, but he is definitely memorable and the perfect foil for others to bounce RP off of. In many ways he would make the perfect archvillain, unless he is already planning on doing that.

[Trent's reply to comment: I can neither confirm nor deny that, Senator.

Comments in reference to the character Krahl Zabrusk a Human: Great moments as always. The running battle of words between Krahl and Peadra always leave me wondering whether blood will run on the floor . . . even before the monsters show up. Great job!

Comments in reference to the character Krahl Zabrusk a Human: (Add Comments Here)It‘s always difficult when trying to select a player to award the BiG to during these sessions due to the high standard of the roleplay. This week‘s choice was especially difficult. Krahl is a fabulous character and as usual he was able to use his towering intellect to educate and insult the rest of the party with equal measure. The barbed comments from this acid tongued mage are cruelly funny and always hit the mark and his banter with Paedra was one of the highlights of the game. On this though, the kaxanar won out due to her impressive leadership. A pleasure to game with as always. Great game Trent.

Krahl: Week in, week out, Krahl is the absolute genius with snappy remarks and beautiful put-downs. I‘d bow in his direction, but I‘d be immediately slapped with slave manacles.

Comments in reference to the character Krahl Zabrusk a Human: It so hard not to just continue to heap praise on Krah. What do I like about Krahl? Hmmm. The quick agile wit (with an accent no less); the good use of spells; the rapier-mind and adder-like tongue that is not afraid to stick and sting. Yet, through it all, even when he is looking out for his own best interests, the party profits. Sometimes that is visible; sometimes not. A marvelous character!

Comments in reference to the character Krahl Zabrusk a Human: Krahl continues to provide significant aide to the Company, even while he refuses to back down one inch from the disdain shown by Peadra and Jada-Kai. Krahl‘s ability to snare the ogre magi for questioning was invaluable even in spite of his near “dirt nap“ during the capture.

Comments in reference to the character Krahl Zabrusk a Human: (Add Comments Here)What can be said about Krahl? He‘s an arrogant, acid tongued finger waggler whose words are as cutting on his fellow party members as his spells are damaging to their enemies. He‘s an immense presence in the game with his venomous, barbed comments, though far from a stereotypical or one dimensional character. Most of all, he is expertly portrayed by a consumate and gracious player. Great performance as always from Trent.

Comments in reference to the character Krahl Zabrusk a Human: The Red Wizard‘s pithy comments about just about everything always contain a lot of information and good advice . . . one just has to wade through the sarcasm to get to it. Quick, glib and smart: a dangerous combination for any character. Timely spellcasting has been another plus for the group! Great Job!

Krahl: The character I love to hate. I know when Trent‘s signed up to play that the RP will be wonderfully wicked, bitingly sharp and extremely funny! Krahl has a way with words...he knows it...and the whole world should know it. If he could work out how to kill with his repartee, we‘d have a true mage/assassin. *applause*

Comments in reference to the character Krahl Zabrusk a Human: It continues to amaze me watching Krahl in action. His quick quips and sarcastic remarks are ready evidence of his towering intellect, maybe not great wisdom, but towering intellect. For all of the perceptions of what he is as a Red Wizard, there is much that is missed by those who only see Krahl as one-dimensional. He is far from that!

Comments in reference to the character Krahl Zabrusk a Human: Krahl is such a wonderfully-played character with the fractured Common, the sly daggers of wit that he turns on everyone. For a hated Thayan Red Wizard, Krahl manages to succeed on many different levels. This could be a totally insufferable character, but Krahl‘s player treads this fine line incredibly well.

Comments in reference to the character Moonshadow a Elf: I always count on Trent to bring a well-rounded, thoughtful character to the game. Most of the time, Moonshadow was so good at slipping through the shadows that I never knew where he was. Which may or may not be a good thing when you‘re the party healer! *grins* Moonshadow was solid in using his talents and working with the group, whether he had his own agenda or not. Well done!

Comments in reference to the character Moonshadow a Elf: Everything was happening so fast that I sometimes overlooked Moonshadow and his contribution. He was always there. Hope to see him in Return to Hell Great Job!

Comments in reference to the character Krahl Zabrusk a Human: Ahhhh, we begin to see Krahl‘s perhaps true side as he attempted to negotiate with the dwarf when she asked him to use a spell that was not directly party-related. Skillfully done, as was the use of spells. I‘m learning a lot just watching Krahl in action. Excellently done!

Comments in reference to the character Krahl Zabrusk a Human: For an apparent “over the top“ character, Krahl is immaculately played with a lot of subtlety. You have to watch carefully or you can miss just how subtle he is with some of his throwaway comments. It will be very interesting to watch how he continues to make himself “valuable“ to a bunch of people who would like nothing more than to put him out of his misery.

Khral: Stayed with the group? Yep. Worked well with the group? Yep. Provided valuable ideas? Yep. Creative in their role-playing? I don‘t know...what would you call a arrogant red wizard that somehow keeps from getting his head split by an axe from the barbarian of the group that hates his guts. I‘d say damned creative. Learned something new? Absolutely! I learned you can play a condescending ass and still get the BIG. Well played!

Comments in reference to the character Krahl Zabrusk a Human: Damn, the BIG was a close call this week given some of the finest RP I have seen from the ENTIRE group. And if it takes a Red Wizard‘s sardonic comments to do that, I‘ll take it hands down. Everybody was playing back off of the Wizard at breakneck speed, and I considered it priceless. Great job!

Comments in reference to the character Savin Vel‘Davir a Elf: The puckish rogue can be a hard character to play well without coming off as stereotypical. You do very well with Savin (Sildor). He‘s a well rounded character and you stay IC superbly. He‘s part of what makes this campaign enjoyable. While there are some great RPers in this campaign, you have been consistently top notch, so get my BIG vote.

Comments in reference to the character Savin Vel‘Davir a Elf: It is really funny play with Savin....at home i laughs everytime...one of the best players i have ever seen
