Reviews To Date for Alcor

Comments in reference to the character Lhiandar Anacis a ‘Shifter‘: (Add Comments Here) That Drow form certainly threw me off this session for certain. Still refused to deal with the Magnificent Mansion...

[Alcor's reply to comment: I hope that'She!' didn't in any way dampen your pleasure, it seemed to go quite well. 'She' tried to instil some 'dicipline' to the group - her hand had a very firm grip on that sword - in order to 'get the job done'! And *laughs* I thought 'Her' alter ego 'Lhian' dealt with the Mansion well enough *winks* In his own little way!

Comments in reference to the character Lhiandar Anacis a ‘Shifter‘: I don‘t have to tell you, that you are extremely versatile with all the shifter shapes and I enjoy it to the fullest. BIG - Play Mate

[Alcor's reply to comment: Thanks PM - the more I play 'shifter' the more comfortable the changes become (and the more character they start to develop) - I'm beginning to understand Lhians confusion and, perhaps, his fear of becoming 'lost'!

Comments in reference to the character Lhiandar Anacis a ‘Shifter‘: (Add Comments Here) Helped out by providing support in times of crisis, and scouting....in the most unusual way I‘ve ever seen before. But an effective one, that served to give Lana a few ideas.

[Alcor's reply to comment: We always aim to please *smiles* Thank you

Comments in reference to the character Lhiandar Anacis a ‘Shifter‘: (Add Comments Here) Very nicely done. Somewhat untrusting of the stranger (especially of her portal to the magical mansion).

[Alcor's reply to comment: Lhian's not being unfriendly *frowns* He's just wondering why something in Hermit Wood would leave you almost dead - rather than finish the job and take lunch! *grins*

Comments in reference to the character Lhiandar Anacis a ‘Shifter‘: BIG. The player group is just too great, but you are very original in your play. Eating worms unshifted was very fun. - Play Mate

[Alcor's reply to comment: Poor Lhian! *sighs* He gets so comfortable in his various forms it's a little confusing at times - but it doesn't really bother him, mostly *smiles* It's mostly how others perceive him that he doesn't understand!

Comments in reference to the character Lhiandar Anacis a ‘Shifter‘: (Add Comments Here) Lhian is developing into the most unusual character I have ever had the pleasure of gaming with. His shape-shifting is inventive and adapted to every situation. Lhian is innocent and childlike and takes pleasure from such simple things. I love to see what he will do next.

[Alcor's reply to comment: Lhian stretches me, and can be hard work - he pushes the 'envelope' a little (I hope) but I'm finding him to be more and more fun *sighs* Even I wonder what he'll do next!

Comments in reference to the character Lhiandar Anacis a ‘Shifter‘: You had your doubts at first, but then became so comfortable with this character that you manage to radiate peacefullness and innocence through it. Lhiandar is like a big child whose smile is honest and sweet, and who smiles from the simplest things in life - the sun, the moon, the birds and the trees. When you morphed into a badger today to play with that ferret, it really made me smile. I love the way you play Lhiandar and I hope you‘re enjoying it too! See you on Friday! Luv, Anya

[Alcor's reply to comment: *smiles* I wasn't sure Lhian would work, or if I could pull him off, or if anyone else would like / understand / care for him *giggles* I'm so pleased you do!

Comments in reference to the character Lhiandar Anacis a ‘Shifter‘: *bites lip* I have to admit something. I forgot the title of the book and overwrote my log file. Do you still know the name??? :D Btw just looking over your comments to the replies. So cool, I thought certain shapes did have particular traits (i.e. the wyrmling is misschievous), but couldn‘t pay that much attention to them (you know Anya right? :P), but now I‘ll look for them even more! Cheers - Play Mate

[Alcor's reply to comment: *smiles* Thanks for that PM and I have the book right here *winks* It's called 'The Explorations of El'iise on Toril'*giggles* It sounds like it could come in handy and it has 'woodcuts' and everything!

[Alcor's reply to comment: I like to make wishes come true and perhaps, with a little luck. Lhian has managed to do that too ...

Comments in reference to Lhiandar Anacis a Shifter: Okay. I‘m not even sure what to put in here. It‘s hard to evaluate Lhian as a character, just because of how unique he/she/it/whatever is. The ‘interesting‘ technique of turning into a badger to avoid customs, the flapping dragon-bookcase incident, turning into a panther to curl up and snooze... I haven‘t seen a character anything like him/her/it, and I‘ve seen quite a few shifters. Personality-wise, Lhain reminds me more of a small child sitting knee-deep in toys more than anything else... (Albeit a child that every so often turns into a Drow matron and gives my character a verbal kicking.)Boredom just isn‘t an option. Sometimes when Lhian spends a long time in an animal form, he/she/it gets kinda hard to relate to, though... But I guess that is the point. but hey, if I‘m writing a wishlist, a little more humanoid interaction would be nice...

[Alcor's reply to comment: Thanks for your comments, I'm pleased you're (mostly) having fun from Lhian *smiles* But I hear what you say about the 'humanoid touch' *winks* Perhaps he does need to work on that, it's just - he hasn't been 'human' in so long ... !

Comments in reference to the character Lhiandar Anacis a ‘Shifter‘: Always a delight to see you at work as a shifter. Love it when you grub for worms, or assume the drow shape because Alton upset you (great display of emotions there :D). Excellent and keep going. - Play Mate

[Alcor's reply to comment: Lhiander is the hardest character to put on that I wear, and the fit isn't perfect - yet - but I am having fun with him *frowns* her *giggles* or it! Hopefully the 'myriad forms' will develope their own personality (it's started I can tell) and I can concentrate on ensuring that all of the 'parts' make a 'whole'!

Comments in reference to the character Lhiandar Anacis a ‘Shifter‘: Lhiandar seems to be adjusting to being with ‘people‘ again. Nice not to have to feed him under the table anymore. *g* Hope that the city doesn‘t cause him to revert...

[Alcor's reply to comment: *smiles* Lhian has always been very - adaptable, it's just that he's had sometime to forget how! *winks*

Comments in reference to the character Lhiandar Anacis a Indeterminate: I like the style of Lhiandar. I still mess up what gender he is, but I liked the shifting also outside combat and the animal behaviour. Had a great time watching you and I hope to see more of that next week. BIG - Play Mate

[Alcor's reply to comment: *laughs* The gender isn't important, at least, not to Lhian - he's most comfortable as, well, something else. He's not really sure what he - was, anyhow! The 'female' frame does give 'him' a female drow though *winks* which just HAS to be a good thing *smiles* Thanks.

Comments in reference to the character Lhiandar Anacis a Indeterminate: (Add Comments Here) I adore this Char. Lhian is vunerable, yet he possesses powerful shapechanging ability and is totally unpredictable. I would rely on this char to support the group no matter what.

[Alcor's reply to comment: Ohh! *hugs everyone* I was so afraid this wasn't going to work *smiles happily* Lhiandar's a 'complicated' piece of work for sure. I hope we can continue to please - Thank you so much.
