Reviews To Date for Ravok

Comments in reference to the character Ian M‘Gyrre a Meticulously Studious Half-Elf: I look forward to learning more about this new recruit. Enjoyed playing!

Comments in reference to the character Samlin Blackwood a Human: Sam continues to be an intriguing character and a catalyst for many of the secondary plot lines within the game. His *apparent* ignorance of the seething competition around him is hilarious, whilst his heart to heart with Ash was excellent.

Comments in reference to the character Samlin Blackwood a Human: Samlin is so unpredictable >_< But it suits him well, he‘s a real scoundrel, and somehow you have no option but to like him, despite his thoroughly rogish nature.

[Ravok's reply to comment: In truth, you guys as a group really help me to play this character. You all make me laugh so many times as I try to think stuff up for old Sam to say, or do. This last time, I just *had* to message the DM's and thank them for such a fun bunch of players, and a great campaign.

Comments in reference to the character Samlin Blackwood (a Human): I will miss this crazy scout! Hold tight to that lucky coin, Samlin - you‘re not likely to be rewarded as richly for EVERY thanedom you save from ruin. ^_~

Comments in reference to the character Samlin Blackwood a Human: Samlin has shown that he is not only the charming opportunity-rider, but has a conscience, remorse and fears. These aspects only complete him further and makes one wish to know more about his thoughts, his past, his dreams. He is one of the most interesting rogues I‘ve seen, yet he is your first of the kind.

Comments in reference to the character Samlin Blackwood a Human: Chatty as always, liked the idea of Samlin being unwell at the start, and recovering.

Some nice play in the temple with Miv about the gold, too, and liked hearing the first hints of Samlin‘s troubled past!

Bit concened about the tendancy to run off a little though (at the end of the session, when Visha was saying goodbyes, and explaining her decision to stay behind).

Comments in reference to the character Samlin Blackwood a Human: Sam is a good addition to the group, if relatively new. Originally he appeared a bit too much like the ‘city theif out of place in the Dungeon‘ - which did not seem that heroically dramatic. But this has change over time: I like his romantic ‘persuit‘ of Miv, and his re-evaluation after his experiences in the Derro assault. Good stuff, and it can only get better as time goes on. Excellent.

Comments in reference to the character Samlin Blackwood a Human: Scouting a little too far ahead of your comrades, don‘t let the enemy get between you and them, and you should be OK. Getting there - and there‘ll be a lot more to come from you, I‘m sure, once we hit the more RP-orientated situations.

Comments in reference to the character Samlin Blackwood a Human: Samlin‘s interactions with Miv served well to highlight their relationship within the group, and I would definitely like to see this played out further. It was very easy to notice his lust for that “paycheck“ and entertaining at the same time. He works well in a tavern scene and hopefully we‘ll see more of him next session.

Comments in reference to the character Samlin Blackwood a Human: Although well played as the “uncomfortably new party member“ Samlin nevertheless took a leadership role when there seemed to be a bit of indecision. His actions sometimes seemed fairly chaotic and impulsive (not a bad thing) - but in the end trying something new paid off, even if it took us all a few minutes to respond :)

Comments in reference to the character Samlin Blackwood a Human: It seems you even played out your Will saving-throw in character - your IC fear of tiny bats followed by the game‘s own fear effect simply cracked me up, it was too perfect! The lucky coin was also a nice touch, adding a sort of pirate-feel to your character, which suited him well.

[Ravok's reply to comment: I am an RPG golfer.. "Play it where it lands." :) I try to RP the situation from what my numbers allow. Thanks for the input! I appreciate it very much.

Made me laugh quite often. Nice haveing the gnome in the party helps distract me from the army of bards.

Comments in reference to the character Jake a Two-Feathers: (Add Comments Here) This character worked well at advancing the plot as his role dictated, and seemed reasonably believable..But to be honest I didn‘t interact with this character enough (probably my own fault) so my impressions are half-formed.

Comments in reference to the character Jake a Two-Feathers: Character with a module specific background (really nice). I‘m eager to find out about your background with Thom and how the last event will change Jake‘s behaviour. Remember me to ask you about it in the next session.

Comments in reference to the character Jake a Two-Feathers: A good, solid character backed up by an enthusiastic, solid roleplayer. :) Great work playing your neutral good alignment while surrounded by people of such...questionable attitude. You did a great job of going through this module a second time without showing ANY out of character knowledge. Great to game with you again Ravok! :) - Alexander Frost

[Ravok's reply to comment: I enjoy your mod and your DM style. I am looking forward to RP'ing with you in the future. Thanks a ton!

Comments in reference to the character Moira Stormbow a Halfling: Hope you enjoyed your first game on NWC, Ravok! Glad to have you here. :) This character was a bit shy, but in the company of two hell-bent-on-drinking dwarves, it's not too hard to be overshadowed! You still provided insights though and thoughts into what was going on, and the halfling kept a curious eye out. Nice spellwork trying to keep Swab hidden, and I loved that little interaction over the carved initials. Until next time, I wish you all the best here on NWC! - Alexander Frost

Comments in reference to the character Moira Stormbow a Halfling: A fine job indeed, and Moira was a gem. I have a great fondness for halflings, as you could probably tell, and you captured the essence of one to a tee, in my opinion. Her personality contributed greatly to the mystery at hand, always questioning, always thinking. Her words were somehow muted by the two dwarves unfortunately, but dwarves are dwarves by no other means. I hope we travel again soon, even after tidying up our little problem at hand. Good journeys to you my friend, Kandelai

[Ravok's reply to comment: I am really looking forward to our next meeting. I am glad there was another halfling in the party. Made the whole scenario for me. Very interesting to have Dwarves and Halflings in mixed company! Hah!

See you soon.
