Great Roleplaying. I realy like the way you play your char.

Toran lives in his own little world most of the time. There‘s always a lot of very personal RP when you play Toran and I like this because it makes Toran much more alive. You got rid of the annoying bird ann the wizard, and so now we can finally be back to buisness. But will things ever be the same with everyone around you using magic in one way or another?

Been a long time since i‘ve done reviews, but here it goes!
Toran is always off in his own little world seemingly careing little for much else besides gold and whatever is in his contract. He is indeed “blissfully oblivious“ as has been said before. This session was no different ;)
He doesn‘t think much about the consequences of his actions as was the case when he nearly attacked the counslor in the castle! Good thing Tarm was able to charm him, who knows what would have happened otherwise.
The Argueing with Ghaldars bird was another memorable moment- one I maganed to capture in a screen shot:P (check Jonas‘ website, its there!). All in all, Toran did an EXCELLENT job of being himself this session. Truely a session and character I will never forget.

(NOTE: have decided not to give BIG‘s this time around because its very hard:P Really, everyone had their moments this session and I simply couldn‘t pick just one)

Awesome roleplay. You were right up there beside Tarm in the effort to make me feel extremely bad. Awesome RP!

OMG, you‘re so annoying! I have no idea how you do it. You pulled some EXTREMELY IC things off today, which I think was great (if, ultimately, really friggin‘ annoying! :D). Keep it up. Or quit it. Either way, I‘m happy ;)

Toran Treasure Hunter a Dwarf: Toran always gets himself and the group into problems, and he always seems to get away with it too. First stealing healing supplies (Urraka was going to ask to pay back on those but the even sum they received from the major kind of implied that he already deducted something), then the cat whom he wanted to sell. All the nagging about money when his money was blging over with money was fun too. Toran always adds a lot of good RP to the group. -- Virthe

Toran seems to like a good fight. Can‘t say I‘ve seen him so enthusiastic before about fighting. And he was prepared to go to the inn with beds before the tavern and the beer. What gives? Great to see you back after some sessions of absence. -- Virthe

I wonder if the party would be totally broke without Toran in the group. Luckily for Toran he does his job and Marcus usually sides with him.
Toran does work very well in pointing out all those blunt, straight forward request for pay, beer and compenastion, which all the other characters seem to hesitate to mention.

I‘ve a feeling that someone must have a very serious talk with Toran soon, or the dwarf will get the whole group in serious trouble. While protesting he can be trusted he‘s way to eager to wave weapons at everything and anything, and stir bad reactions from potential friends. Good RP from you, though the group seems to have a lot of external and internal problems at the moment. -- Virthe

A good session where Toran had a chance to really stand out! It was great to see where he lived and how his house looked, and his interaction with the king was very believable. You certainly deserved one for this session too.

Comments in reference to the character Dragior Arlves a Human: Well, there is much to be said for starting a group at level one, and ‘working your way up‘. After many weeks, and much adventure, I feel like we are truly ‘brothers in arms‘ and we work as a team like no new group could ever hope to! Many have come and gone, but in the end, it comes down to the ‘3 heroes of Hilltop‘ to save the day! LOL.. may not be the deepest, most complex game I play in, but by the gods, the ‘fun factor‘ is right at the top! Thanks for sticking with it guys. Many have scoffed at playing the OC‘s and more laughed at ‘mages only‘ - we have proved otherwise ;) ONWARDS TO BATTLE I SAY!...

Well then, I suppose I‘ll write out a review for you as well. :)
When one of the player mysteriously dissapeared, I got a suggestion that I might want to try asking you to join. Having only seen you in action as a DM, I was looking forward to see what you‘d contributed as a player. And well, the result was the good old dwarf known as Toran.
Certainly an interesting, greedy character, but still kind enough to the party. He was able to be integrated easily into the storyline, playing an important part in a quest. Your suggested storyarc was also surprising, but one that I enjoyed putting into the campaign. And although Toran does have some of the usual Dwarven quirks(a fondness for ale and gold), I have to say that a dual-wielding Fighter/Rogue is not quite something that I see every day in a dwarf. Certainly a fun addition.
What I also enjoy are the little things that you introduce into the campaign. Having Toran act like a hired henchman(contract and all) is a neat touch and was a good reason why your character would continue adventuring with the party. All in all, this dwarf is a fine addition to the party, and definatley looking forward to what else he will add to the campaign.
(and one of these days, I *will* add the script to the module, I swear!)

As you DMed for me (and others) I could imagine that you will make good use of skillchecks and such as a player, and so you did!
Thank you for the suggestion with the bluff skill check, I never used that in a game and I am somehow new with this highlevel gameplay in this campaign but I am willing to learn, hehe
BIG for you this time because of the Book scene, lol
And because you‘re a good “leader“ in my opinion.

Comments in reference to the character Gormbooz an Orc: Nice attempt at taking over the orc enclave; most players wouldn‘t think to violate the existing power structure, much less through brute force. As long as he‘s a threat, Gormbooz is the true leader. --Rofelli--

Comments in reference to the character Gormbooz an Orc: Excellently played by the ‘Medicine Orc‘! Great roleplay throughout, effective healing and intuitive thinking. Loved your decapitation of enemies, wearing their heads proudly atop of your spear - such things always get rewarded in my games, and are the sign of a good player. My vote for Best In Game. Look forward to playing with you again soon, thanks for joining at late notice. {Dunga}

Comments in reference to the character Kent “Bags“ Calligan a Human: I TOLD YOU TO GET AN EYE-PATCH AND A PARROT, DAMMIT! LOL. Seriously though, I had hoped my graphics card would have allowed me to “enjoy“ the whole game alongside you (just so you wouldn‘t die of boredom and frustration all alone) but alas, you had to face it all alone. I can‘t wait for that one game where we‘ll hook up *wink wink nudge nudge* Oh, I‘m bad. - Anya (who else?)

Comments in reference to the character Aelde Dourddan a Half-Elf: BIG for me. I mean : Wow! Aelde can now fight in melee (yes it‘s true) and take the lead without whining each minute! ;-) You lead him very well to this evolution with a very creative roleplay. Aelde should now confirm his leadership because Urebril has troubles giving it up totaly it seems!

Comments in reference to the character Kent “Bags“ Calligan a Human: Well what happened to the “exotic“ sexuality? Yes, he didn‘t like weapons but what about women? God knows Iman has been trying, yet she didn‘t get neither a no nor a yes. I was looking forward to that little moment when he says he likes bananas more than any other fruit, but I was left waiting. Besides this crushing ommitance, I loved “Babs“.. uh.. .“Bags“ He seemed too quiet and polite for a sailor though. Next time, I‘m expecting a parrot-befriending eyepatch-wearing man-loving Bagsie.... Or else!

Comments in reference to the character Amon Essade a Human: Amon was the one I interacted with the most and he was very helpful and intriguing. He said the right things at the right times and was very IC, being all rather stealthy and discreet. Even though one usually remembers the effervescent characters more, I enjoyed his slightly shadowy way of being a lot. BIG from me, babe :) - Dark Anya

Kent, a superb job at keeping the group together in this little haunted module. Even when fighting spooks, running from statues, or bribing the insane prisoner, you did well to keep the group focused on task.
Excellent roleplaying, though I fear you just missed the BIG this time around. I would‘ve liked to hear a little more talk from your character within the mod, as idle chit-chat, rather than task-specific.
Still, congratulations and great game.

Comments in reference to the character Agetas Slyen a Human: A very believable and interesting persona - an elderly ranger at the end of his years, using his long-honed but unmastered skills to benefit his village in a time of need.
