Great game from Lind. Good interaction with Danny getting the information about the kidnapping, great RP with Tyler the Taylor. Found himself a good set of clothes for socializing after we kill all the bad guys and are relaxing in a tavern. Hmm, think Lind is trying to get a date with Asia. Don‘t think Simon will ever clean himself up and put on a nice suit/tuxedo. BIG play from Lind tonight.

Comments in reference to the character Lindalas d‘Ebo a Elf: In a group with sometimes murky motivations, Lindalas has emerged as one of the few truly good-hearted characters, especially his insistence on findng the cure for the troll so that he might be true to his word. His interaction with his nemisis Ned in the tower‘s viewing room was entertaining as well. It is nice to see his character continue to emerge and grow even when the plot doesn‘t necessarily involve his background as much as some of the earlier sessions. That‘s a sign of a great roleplayer - bringing out your character when the story doesn‘t force you to.

Worst role playing I have ever encountered – a total failure to understand the motivation of other character alignments class types and how to deal with them. Bossy and highly directive, wishing everything to be controlled in this players way.
Obviously ignorance of the nature of a paladin and how LG zealots must be played has caused problems in this game session. The negative comments are disturbing and warrant rebuttal.
LG as a Paladin (who is based on the historic Knights Templar) are no different than LE. The only defining difference is the faction to be brutalized.
The knights Templar killed whole towns, men, women, and children. If an opposing faction is hiding in a town, the town is destroyed.
There is no reasoning with the religious zealots – it is not a matter of intellect but of faith and passion – they are passionate in their goal to eliminate opposing factions and unafraid of death. Death is an honor and promise of glory. Working with Paladins proves chalenging and assures problematic conflicts as party survival is in question.
Many articles exist in Dragon Magazine, White Dwarf, and Dungeneer, as well as others, from the 1970s – 1980s. In them all the problems running and playing with a paladin are presented. If the party restrains the paladin from attacking a ligitimate opposition force, the DM MUST slide the party alignment toward evil. NO OTHER POSSIBILITY EXISTS – the party is helping the opposing faction in the eyes of the paladin and the DM MUST agree – no matter how much the DM might wish it otherwise.
Paladins are a tough troublesome arrogant char to have in a party, especially for neutrals and chaotics.

You roleplayed your character well and played a good game. My only concern was that sometimes you were just too eager to go on and we lost many a roleplay opportunity because of that. Still the other two were little competition to you roleplay wise, you‘ve got my vote for BIG.
