Comments in reference to the character Jokull of Arabel a Human: Jokull is a complex character, sometimes very “in your face“, especially when dealing with nobility, and can play “good cop/bad cop“ very effectively when he needs to. Humor saves this character from being a one-dimensional hero. Good job as always! - Kat

Comments in reference to the character Jokull De‘Angelus of Arabel a Human: Jokull‘s fights in the arena have probably shaped his character the most since I last commented on him. Events there and in his private quest have demonstrated both his unshakable confidence and his possession of the ethos of a true warrior. Jokull remains faithful to his ideals and seeks to advance them, not bending to the underhanded, shadowy dealings typical of Westgate, although he understands the need for secrecy and discretion. Jokull‘s private interests have also borne fruit, adding meaningfully to the campaign. Although he is not a chatty character, on the occasions he does engage other PCs one-on-one, his sophisticated level of interaction is a pleasure to watch. --Carlo

Comments in reference to the character Jokull De‘Angelus of Arabel a Human: Jokull feels like one of Rahnee‘s brothers, so she treats him much the same way. His duels in the arena make her proud - and afraid - for him, both at the same time. You sometimes have to physically turn the pages of the book that is Jokull and pry the words from the page! Good job of mixing relative openness with private nightmares! - KatDragon

Comments in reference to the character Zakafein Kalanda a Drow: Zak‘s willingness to take out a rival house at considerable risk to himself showed a different side of his character, the Drow way, that required a dispassionate elimination of his enemies. His relationship to his aunt, the Matron, was both appreciative and curiously distant, showing a reluctance to be in debt, even distrust. The mission was surprisingly successful, due in part to his scouting and strategy. I look forward to seeing what the enigmatic Zak will do after the party leaves the Underdark. Great game!

Comments in reference to the character Janus Trevas a Human: Why does it seem at the far end of the table, the quiet ones sit? Janus and the Lady. *grin* It just seemed to turn out that way. I especially enjoyed your character‘s non-verbal emotes. Your character seems to be lying in wait for the opportune moments during the meeting, it seems. The advice Janus gives, while few in quantity, are high in quality. I expect that in turn, Janus will give his own special brand of arrogance and advice to each member of the Council as he just showed with Gabriel. :)

Comments in reference to the character Jokull of Arabel a Human: Sadly, Jokull had a power outage and missed a little of this session. The time he was there, he was rock-solid as his character, and still slowly giving hints to his past in very subtle fashions. Another character with dramatic, suppressed motives. Jokull is being spooled out nicely, and we enjoy seeing the personal developments each session. Someday, yes, we shall begin that business of Custom Adventurers‘ Gear. Oh yes, we shall indeed, and Westgate will come unto a new age of Marketing and Style!

Comments in reference to the character Gabrielus Regalis a Human: Gabrielus might be underestimated on the surface as simply a former noble who is so in love with himself that he would do anything to preserve himself properly. Little do the others know what goes on in his somewhat-evil mind. As a DM, I got a little glimpse and let me say, I love Gabrielus‘ personality and with the Toreador gone, even his people skills seem to be useful now, not to mention his uncanny ability to read someone‘s aura... Comments in reference to the character Jokull De‘Angelus a Human: Jokull‘s role in the campaign has blossomed significantly, as he has felt the need to lower somewhat his reserved exterior and spur himself to action. Jokull‘s personal motivations run deep and the tension between them and what is best for the group has been interesting to watch. Over the last several sessions, I have seen much more of Jokull‘s drive and determination - handled very well in-character, including during individual encounters away from the group. Jokull manages to combine strong passion with control - not always perfect - and a healthy respect for his companions. I now have a strong sense of the character of this driven warrior, who would not be out of place in a favorite fantasy novel. --Carlo

Comments in reference to the character Gabrielus Regalis a Human: While I do love your character alltogether, I fear that it‘s becoming hard to discern the difference between Gabrielus and Samael. Yes, Gabrielus is of noble birth, and thus well-mannered, yet the Tremere blood should have turned him into a more conniving and ruthless character. You had that going a bit at the beginning and I‘d like to see it come back. So, although I‘m loving Gabrielus and his involvement with the group, I‘m really rooting for him to start being a bit more evil (but not with his Coterie) - Anya

Comments in reference to the character Gabrielus Regalis a Human: Gab‘s enthusiastic discovery of his new abilities, and his quietly unique take on the group‘s transformation went from engaging to frightening in the cemetary. Frightening not so much because of the action itself, but because, when you thought about it, it wasn‘t really all that surprising...
He may not be the most violent, the most devious, the most intimidating, or the most wordy, but he‘s certainly the most cold blooded.

Comments in reference to the character Gabrielus Regalis a Human: Ahh Gabrielus, the character Samael seems to have the most in common with. A lot can be said about this deep and often thought-provoking character but it can be summed up with his actions in the graveyard. His unwavering focus on duty and loyalty to Rahnee was well expressed, as was a balancing practical side to his nature. It is not always easy to roleplay appropriate silence or staying out the way, but it was done well here. Jokull faded into the background at the Blue Banner, but maintained his vigilance, in a very believable way. --Carlo

Comments in reference to the character Zakafein Kalanda a Drow: I very much enjoyed the debut of this character, who entered at a very challenging RP moment: a Drow in a city of elves under attack by Drow. Zak was cool and collected, conveying much of his attitude with emotes rather than words. The motives of this drow are a mystery and one that I will relish discovering. Wonderful roleplaying!

Comments in reference to the character Zakafein Kalanda a Elf: (Add Comments Here): I have not had many opportunities to play with Falseprophet but I know why I have always wanted to - you know a player is top notch when he can seamlessly play a new character in a very complicated campaign and slide right in as if played by a veteran. Not only that but the use of emotes and carefully crafted dialogue choices just leaves you ‘knowing‘ that you are in the company of one of the best roleplayers around. I can‘t wait for more! A wonderful addition to our campaign... *BIG*

Comments in reference to the character Jokull De‘Angelus a Human: FP, I like what you‘re doing with Jokull. He‘s proving to be a man of mystery, at odds with his warrior front. At least that is my impression so far. Of course, I suppose that I could be really surprised to find out that he has a mistress on the side that no one knows about, and that‘s where he‘s slipping away off to .....

Comments in reference to the character Jokull De‘Angelus a Human: Jokull‘s caginess is interesting about his past, and his believability of his “layman‘s mindset“ is interestingly youthful. Clearly there‘s more to be said yet, and slow revelation of a character‘s background is good for a story. I wasn‘t at the top of my game this past session, but I hope to interact better soon with Jokull and the other Westgate players.

Comments in reference to the character Jokull De‘Angelus a Human: At his second appearance in the game, we see that Jokull is probably more than he speaks out to be. He offers opinions occasionally, but not overly so... and his capability at capturing his prisoner off-scene has yet to be upheld in live combat. But the character‘s mind seems sound, and willingness to cooperate is helpful. More details will be needed to get to know this one, but already he seems promising. Oddly, he seems to be a bit more good natured than your average joe. We‘ll see if that survives Westgate‘s less-than-benevolent atmosphere.

Comments in reference to the character Stormbringer a Wild Elf: (Add Comments Here): Playing an evil character is never easy but you managed to convey this intangible ‘layer‘ of darkness with this druid so that I still couldn‘t place my finger on how you were accomplishing it - so much so that I considered you a dangerous adversary all the way through - very impressive! Our fight seemed to be a case of my ranger falling to your druid/monk‘s skills because of my dual ‘shortswords‘ - with a heavier reliance on equipment, I underestimated the need for a longsword in my primary hand! (never again trust me!). Still the whole adventure and our relationship was something else and I intend to write a short story on the whole thing along with some fight choreography of our battle! Do me a favour and ensure you play this character time and time again so others can experience playing alongside him... it would be a tragedy for others not to see your masterwork in effect! Thank you FP, till next time! -Silv

Comments in reference to the character Stormbringer a Wild Elf: Stormbringer was tough and smart until the end, although he was caught out by Silvarian‘s betrayal. Did an excellent job of working with the Hunted group until then, helping make it both entertaining and disturbing (as appropriate) to watch their actions. His gritty determination to hunt down Silvarian in turn made for yet another interesting dynamic in a session packed with them. -- Carlo

Comments in reference to the character Jamorin Gellantara a Human: From the beginning, when he was introduced as a resource on necromantic lore, Jamorin had both depth and breadth to his character. Has has been an interesting mix of old and young, cooperative and aloof. FP‘s strengths in design shone through with Jamorin‘s custom equipment and appearance, giving life to the “old man“ of the group. Always pursuing his own carefully considered ends, both in-game and via PM, Jamorin has been a pleasure to interact with for this DM. --Carlo

Comments in reference to the character Stormbringer a Wild Elf: Stormbringer played his own game for the entire session, a smart one that ultimately paid off for him. Comments in reference to the character Leopold Duncean a Human: Wow, you really RPed this paliden well! Lep was much more vocal this time around, and though I wish I could remember specifics, I can not (heh, they will probably come back to me latter, I just know it!):( The thing that really cought my attention though was the final battle. Leo was very persistant in destroying the thing even when it was clear that it could not be done. And as a result, the whole group was killed. From a players point of view (rather than a characters) its nice to find someone who‘s not affraid of failing and bringing down the whole group with him. Job well done FP! BIG

[FalseProphet's reply to comment: I appreciate the comments, but it's hard to know if you're being ironic or not! But yes, Leo was indeed a very stubborn man. He wanted to hold the beast off while the others ran away, but apparently they prefered to die fighting by the side of the paladin. :) ]

Viglundr Van Alstyne a Human: Xora has to watch herself so that she doesn‘t side with Vig too much in his quarrels with Philippa. After all, he‘s often so convincing! And so familiarily selfish - Xora can relate to him.

Comments in reference to the character Gendar Rockmelter a Dwarf: Excellent sarcastic, annoyed-with-life dwarf. Ran ragged by the menagerie that the party developed over the game. Great stuff

- Gendar Rockmelter -
A good played dwarf. Loved the attitude which seems dwarven a bit at least. (ie, straight on and bash everyone‘s head open).
Took it well getting down in battle a couple of times also ;P

Comments in reference to the character Samuel Ferris a Human: Good job on the character. Not the cookie cutter adventurer by any means, with his own plot to further.

Valandil, the flirt, the cocky, the etc. with a really funny way of making fun of other characters in the game. He is a good cocky style character. Well-played. I‘m never able to play cocky characters myself, tried, but I end up being arrogant cocky not funny cocky. Yep, and you get a BIG too, hehe...

Comments in reference to the character Valandil Carnesîr a Elf:
Valadil was great. He had a good time with disguising the others I think. It was a nice thought and a great addition to the whole adventure. I also liked your dreamy talks and sighs about how you were (ab)used by the Baronness, who resembled you so much in the end. There was a great chemistry between the two :)
I agree with you that it is a shame the adventure is now over. The group was fantastic so far. But you sail north again. Where new adventures await you.... (okay I‘m looking hard for another module featuring Perido the Bold and Valandil :P) - Cheers! Play Mate

Comments in reference to the character Viglundr Van Alstyne a Human: Great work with this character. He gets so much grieve form the others but takes it all in stride because it furthers his own goals (afraid to guess what they are...hehe). You are a great addition to this group. Fane

Which woman will he prefer? That is the question. One of the questions actually, as many important choices will have to be made next session. I hope to greet you then once more, because this player group is beyond great.

Comments in reference to the character Valandil Carnesîr a Elf: Oh my, isn‘t he the flirter! The poor baronness never knew what hit her. In any case, Kryssia enjoys seeing him do his thing. It so reminds her of her early rogue days... you know, when she was inexperienced and trying so hard... *snicker*... Seriously, love him. Anya.

Viglundr Van Alstyne a Human: I don‘t knowif you raised Xora because Vig thinks it is good for her to owe him, because I had been dead a while and you were nice enough to let me back into the game, or because Vig has greater depth than we think. A little of each, I hope. Thanks anyway.

Comments in reference to the character Gendar Rockmelter a Dwarf: ‘Roleplaying Magic‘ -that‘s how I would define this game. One of those where the characters are great, and work together well, the story is exceptional, the mod is well done, we progress the story at a good pace, and the roleplaying by the characters is right on the money... That WAS this game, and within all of that, you were exceptional FalseProphet. Bravo!

Gendar Rockmelter a Dwarf: Great playing with you. Well-played hardened, neutral dwarf with sort of a grisly sense of humor. And no, I didn‘t mind Gendar‘s “hardass“ quality. :) Good stuff. ---CH
