Reviews To Date for Devarion

Comments in reference to the character Derek a Human: (Add Comments Here) Derek is a real hoot - he‘s got a strange sense of humor, a funny way of talking, and a definate interest in Delphi. ;D ...not to mention ‘fast‘ hands...

Comments in reference to the character Derek a Human: (Add Comments Here) Derek was a lot of fun - continually getting Captain Stewart‘s name wrong, and subsequently losing his boots upon being shipwrecked. But how will he cope with what mysteries await on the land they‘ve shipwrecked upon?

Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here) My, but you are quite a simple man, Garak. I think it‘s quite safe to say you really have no ‘hidden agenda,‘ as so many others do. No, your goal is quite genuine - to get out. ...nothing more, nothing less...so how pathetic the rest of us must seem to you, Garak, with our endless struggles for ‘power,‘ our incessent, childish bickerings.
11/13/05
Garak a Mul: It seems Garak has a streak of naivety sometimes letting things slip that he shouldn‘t be speaking of, like the dragon on the loose. No harm done this time, and who knows. At some point it may work out to our advantage perhaps.
11/12/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here) Garak didn‘t get to see much action this game - instead, we stayed in the wonderful, magical faerie realm. Heheh. All that greenery seemed to bother Garak - could it have something to do with his being from a vast desert of a world? ...but seriously. Trees -eating- people? Yeesh...what sort of world is Garak from?
11/06/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: Garak and Dusk seemingly disagreeing with the plane traveller, or perhaps it was the good guy and bad guy show again? At any rate, it would seem Garak will pledge loyalty to whomever offers to take him out of this place ... faster than anyone else.
10/30/05
Garak a Mul: Another good session from you. Garak seems to think there is straight forward solutions to the situation we are in. If all was so well, but at least he is rather optimistic about things.
10/30/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here) Poor Garak. His answer seemed to be ‘break this,‘ ‘break that‘ to most of the group‘s problems. Then, of course, he seems to have got into some sort of skirmish with Six as well...
10/29/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: Where do Garak‘s loyalties lie? His actions show that he is willing to protect Dusk and, possibly, Ka‘dal. Maybe you just want everyone to get along long enough for you to escape the Asylum? Unfortunately, whatever the ending, I think you will have to eventually choose sides to see this thing through. OOC: I‘m giving you a BIG for this session. I like how you roleplay being from Mul and your reactions to things that don‘t exist in your realm. Well done. A pleasure to have you back in the game!
10/02/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: Garak seemed to have taken leadership over Jenaria and Six in their group. Though their questioning of their prisoner didn‘t seem to give new answers. Now it seems Garak wants to run again, but where and why?
10/01/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: Nicely played. You took the leadership role in the group of yourself, Six and Plain Average Human. Although lacking in “academic“ intelligence, Garak obviously has street smarts and common sense intelligence. Well roleplayed and BIG from me.
09/18/05
Garak a Mul: Garak seemed overwhelmed by all the apparent news in the group, and all tehir fancy speaking and ideas. Hmmm... actually you may be surprised to know that most of the news are a mere 1 session old! Still, there‘s bound to be new formations forming now within the group. But who will ally with who and why?
03/13/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here)sure going to miss you devarion and not cause you‘re our tank :) but what a fine player doing a great job with Garak! Interesing and revealing exit for him, with the Riddler, but at least, an opt for him to come back though how in the world he will? I don‘t know. Hurry back! LRP
03/06/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here) So...we finally see Garak‘s old Pit mate, eh? Odd looking little fellow, and seems very convinced the Garak killed him? Pity, that.
02/27/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here)hrmm consider pain was needed, consider, by any measure the pain of six ..ka‘dal and any but dusk.. garak‘s was far and away the greatest..and peep is sure she saw...sure a brief image of a barbarian gladiator in that circle when garak‘s turn came! lrp
02/26/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here) Garak struggled, but managed to have the will power to draw forth uncomfortable memories in order to help secure our escape. And, even though Thul‘hazal (whom Garak is very untrusting of) bid us to flee, Garak stood by him in combat and refused to give up ground.
02/26/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: Well, it seems like we truly worked together for the first time to escape from the clutches of the nurses. Too bad it cost us a member of our original group to realize the dire situation we find ourselves in. Hopefully, we can continue to maintain this newfound “spirit of cooperation“ in order to escape this place and we should remember not to be blinded by revenge.
02/20/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here)they some garak whose evil way worse than any you could ever see in Peep, and we seen it this day, we gots to get out of here, never fall in they hands again, I expect it be a fight to the death rather than a cell ever again, saying we get out LRP
02/13/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: Good to have the old Garak back. You are like a Timex: You take a lickin‘ but keep on tickin‘. You are like a Weeble: You wobble but you don‘t fall down.
02/13/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here)well garak.. I thought played straight to who he IC is, which is sometimes hard knowing you likely gonna die cause of it.. the deamon just sent him throught the roof and showing more courage than smarts with the orcs :)..if he thinks peep is such a figment of his imagination..what must he think now.. hrmm? she‘s a winged one in tow LRP
02/06/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here): Dev didnt play this session but I owe him many a review - I love this Mul! The player conveys his simple mindset expertly combining aspects of his background and setting (such as the lack of plant life in his homelands) slowly revealing his history combined with his firm morals. This was evident when he conflicted with Dusk‘s silver tongue working on the elven spy in the encampment - one wonders if one day Dusk will simply find that smooth talking doesn‘t help when a Mul lays you on the ground with a well placed fist to the jaw! Thank you Devarion, can‘t wait for more from this tough as nails character.
01/30/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here)well I thinks we need to let Garak ask all the questions.. *peep runs off laughing hard*.. LRP
01/30/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: “Dependable. Useful. Garak is a valuable companion... Despite his inability to outwit a pile of bricks. Still, of them all, I would rely more on his strength than Ka‘dal‘s brains, Keris‘ powers or Six‘s skill. There is no duplicity in a simple mind. Most... Refreshing.“
01/24/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: The quietest character in the group, but such a valuable member. His unflappableness, despite the tension in the party and the strange surroundings in which we find ourselves, is much appreciated.
01/23/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here)*grins* you still thinking Bo Peep a figment of your imagination :)...hard to know who to trust in here for sure.. gahh if we ever see the outside of this place eh Garak.. then what will he do I wonder..LRP
01/22/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: Garak still seems timid after the confrontation with Harbel. He is not the rough and tumble, independent spirited fighter he once was. I miss the old Garak. :P
01/10/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here)well well the ability to manifest..falls right in the “norm“ for Garak..but also for Bo Peep eh *giggles* wonder what that means Garak.. the figment of your imagination.. with the dreaded shadow on par with Garak.. does it worry him.. a little bit :) LRP
01/09/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here) Now the Blue Knife test over, we have a better idea of where the dangers (or as Mister Dusk would call them, ‘liabilities‘) of our group rest. Garak seems no more dangerous than the others, despite his barbaric and uneducated roots.
01/08/05
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: I think Garak may have been tamed by Dusk a bit after he failed to kill Harbel. He doesn‘t seem to have the “bite“ he once had. Maybe Dusk is influencing him. Maybe freedom is dulling the rage in him. Maybe the Asylum and manifestations are getting to him.
12/12/04
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: Another good session from Garak. He‘s not as much of an in-your-face character as some of the others, but you play him consistently from week to week, very believably and very enjoyably. This week something silly got my attention: I liked your comment, “Let‘s rip ‘em to shreds“, it‘s a very good way of integrating the character‘s voiceset and your chat. :)
12/12/04
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: I love that Mul! It seems like most of the group now feels that Garak is the only one whose feelings are authentic. He is very dedicated and devoted, and has no fear of charging into the heat of battle, no matter how many enemies or their strenght. Further, I think the group realizes that, without Garak, they woudn‘t have made it this far. His journal is a great read, and perfectly reflects his feelings in game. Out of all his companions, Garak seems to be relating best to Six, helping him move around and sharing some thought from time to time. Garak has been amazing to watch and however uncharismatic he may be, I really felt his personality was amusing and contaminating. Looking forward to see what happens next, especially when the group starts running out of pills!
12/11/04
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: Garak continues to be a very interesting character. Your character has prompted me to read more about the Mul and their world in the D&D system and I admit your roleplaying is excellent and enjoyable. Plus, where would we be without Garak‘s swordplay. Out of all the characters, I think Garak is the most honest and straightforward with no ulterior motives other than coming to terms with the alien environment he now finds himself in.
12/11/04
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here) Oh, how poor Garak seems to be tumbled from the frying pan into the fire and back, time and time again. I just hope that, as confused as he is, he doesn‘t resort to blind fury at any point in the near future...he seems, at times, akin to a cornered animal when pressured.
12/05/04
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: Excellent roleplay regarding Garak‘s hesitancy with the unknown potion, and then later on with drinking the water. Very practical, too! lol Garak‘s an asset to the team: just getting on and doing his job, never complaining... I‘m glad you‘re there! :)
12/04/04
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here) Garak is such a devoted member of the group - he seemed to brush off Ka‘dal‘s comment concerning loyalty, but still he stands with the group until the last. His attentions are better spent fighting - it almost seems to relax him, and he looks forward to move. Well...we certainly would not want to disappoint him, now would we..?
11/08/04
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here)gosh sorry you have to give that sword up :) but you‘ve quiet an arsenal it seems.. marked you CG.. but more you‘re CC Chaotic Crazy.. and that shadow.. brings out shadows of Garak‘s own eh.. aye.. the shadow even sprang from Garak .. once ..but when bo peep saves a person from death.. then.. he takes his due LRP
11/07/04
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here) An OOC Review this week: Garak definately is beginning to show more of the slow, brutish qualities of a darksun gladiator. There have been several paralells between the Asylum and the Pits, but I think that is finally coming to a close as we‘ve begun venturing through Anton‘s manifestation. For the first time I think Garak is beginning to see how truly alien his new ‘home‘ can be.
11/06/04
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: I feel a great deal of sympathy for Garak, so obviously cut adrift from everything that is familiar to him. Although he freaks my character out with his strange ways, he is showing himself to be capable and dependable. Definitely a valuable member of the team. And I do like your emotes. :) BIG.
11/06/04
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: I must admit that I am enjoying watching the character evolve. I give you the BIG for this session factoring in the overall roleplaying and character development in game and in the roleplay journal. An interesting character!
10/30/04
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here) Such a noble brute when it comes to Dusk. He seems to listen to him, want to protect him. Very interesting...
10/24/04
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: Scary bloke! At the moment, it‘s a toss-up who‘s the more worrying, you or Bo Peep. The way you roleplayed being able to see figures from your past was top notch IMO. Nice try with keeping Number Six safe, too. See you next week!
10/24/04
Comments in reference to the character Garak a Mul: (Add Comments Here)hrmm not the most dangeous of us I think, but then, the ones who are still keeping their darker sides hidden are the most dangerous, and garnak, does NOT keep that hidden at all. Hence of all of them the one bopeep will tred most carefully around..not only is he a stranger in a strange land, alien, but in an insane asylum to boot...what an adjustment *smiles* LRP
07/19/04
Comments in reference to the character Katrina a Human: (Add Comments Here)gosh one of the quickest to figure out what we as a group needed to do was you kat..and figuring out how to get your summons up on the roof with those blasted mages, nice piece of work!! without you it would really be hard, thanks LRP
07/19/04
Comments in reference to the character Katrina a Human: (Add Comments Here) Thanks for keeping us alive in there. Hopefully we can have a quick trip to Minoc, pick up those weapons, and meet back in Britain with the others.

Comments in reference to the character Katrina a Human: (Add Comments Here) Good session. I know controlling Geoffrey must have been difficult, he likes to misbehave...heheh.
07/11/04
Comments in reference to the character Katrina a Human: (Add Comments Here) very good job, in a rather chaotic session!
06/29/04
Comments in reference to the character Katrina a Human: (Add Comments Here)ahh you are such a help with the spell casting and healing chores, always know when you‘re there by how much easier it gets and how much harder going when you arent :)LRP

Comments in reference to the character Katrina a Human: (Add Comments Here) As always, a good job Katrina. Did you see that? We had a Julia in the party twice in a row now! Even if it was a -fake- Julia.

Comments in reference to the character Mariah a Human: (Add Comments Here) Great job. Sorry you were pretty much in the dark to Mariah‘s backstory for the session...its just we‘ve had so many Mariahs.
05/16/04
Comments in reference to the character Katrina (as Mariah) a Human: (Add Comments Here) Great job Katrina ! You did a great job as a Shepard , and it was great having you in the party!
04/06/04
Comments in reference to the character Katrina a Human: (Add Comments Here)hrmm.. you and mariah are gonna put some gray hairs in kerrent‘s head.. during melee.. make sure to use your buffs and melee for katrina will be much less deadly.. *sighs* kerrent.. origonally drawn to the lively mariah.. now.. she seems to have become .. ermm much less lively..and our katrina.. well her sense of humor...and vivaciousnes.. well let‘s see now *grins* LRP
04/04/04
Comments in reference to the character Katrina a Human: (Add Comments Here) Glad you could be here, and glad to see there weren‘t any embarrasing eye-tyrant polymorphs.
04/04/04
Comments in reference to the character Katrina a Human: Katrina was pleasant to have in our group today. She contributed to conversations and made me feel as if I would like to get to know her better.
03/22/04
Comments in reference to the character Katrina a Human: It‘s great to see Katrina in the party again, and you play her very well. It was unfortunate that her friend Jaana didn‘t make a show, but at least Shamino was there, so two-thirds of the nature triad were represented. You made good use of Katrina‘s faculties and skills during the game, with her efforts to communicate with animals and lizardfolk for information. The gazer incident was unfortunate, and it represents a technical problem that is not easily fixed in the campaign. I would suggest you simply avoid shapeshifting into (or summoning!) a boar in the future.

Very cool person - I wish I would‘ve been able to do a few more animal encounters w/ you

Comments in reference to the character Jaana a Human: It‘s too bad you had such big problems with lag, but still you kept up with us to the end. I hope you get this fixed and we see you again some time soon.
01/19/04
Comments in reference to the character Jaana a Human: (Add Comments Here) Had major lag problems, but worked through them. I have to say she was persistent in staying with the group even when she was suffering problems. Good job.
01/19/04
Comments in reference to the character Jaana a Human: (Add Comments Here)ohh do hang in there despite the lag.. you do more than you know..for the group..kerrent sees jaana as so safe..and so understanding..when she took him to task about..treating women more respectfully..it was her he could confessed all thos strong..confusing feelings that were soo..confusing him..telling jaana.. she drives me crazy...and I‘m so confused by that.. and importantly..jaana‘s response.. one of understanding...and non judgementalness..really helped poor Kerrent and confirmed that with Jaana.. he‘s indeed safe to tell what is bothering him, knwoing he will not be mocked or suffer judgementalness...soo stay with it you play her perfectly LRP
01/18/04
Comments in reference to the character Jaana a Human: (Add Comments Here) Sorry about the lag problems. I‘m glad you stuck it out and tried, though. I look forward to having you aboard this summer.

Comments in reference to the character Jaana a Human: It‘s a pleasure having you join our group. You played it amazingly well, even having been caught in the middle of the plot. I hope you liked playing it as much as I liked DMing it.
