Comments in reference to the character Jarek Morvenson a Human: Yet another side to Jarek, sulking over what he had done seemed to make the character even more alive. It was certainly an interesting game.

Comments in reference to the character Jarek Morvenson a Human: Not too much IC time in this session. I look forward to learning more of Jarek in the future.

Comments in reference to the character Jarek Morvenson a Human: (Add Comments Here) The rp of jarek‘s concerns for tomarian were excellent, as were his interactions with Millard and everyone else in the party. Jarek, despite his on-going concerns, seemed much more relaxed and focused this session as we reached the ultimate goal of the adventure.. a time when we needed his focus the most. Jarek will probably always be a character that needs a certain amount of “angst“ in his life to keep him driven, but he‘s a lot more fun to be around when he‘s comfortable knowing he‘s among friends! ;) It‘s a shame it would take so much time to RP what happens while the party relaxes and takes their R & R before the next adventure, because i have no doubt the bond between Millard and Jarek would grow stronger, and the interactions with the entire party under such relaxing circumstances would be highly entertaining! :) This was the most fun i‘ve had in a session for quite a while, and i‘m SO glad Millard refused to let Jarek die a few weeks back! :)

Comments in reference to the character Jarek Morvenson a Human: (Add Comments Here) Your deep empathy for Jarek and his character was definately shown today with the whole suicide thing. He seems to be quite emotionally unstable, and you have certainly expressed that beyond a shadow of a doubt. On top of that, it was very original I‘d say :P MrSmiley

Comments in reference to the character Jarek Morvenson a Human: (Add Comments Here) Everything I expected and more! That wily rogue was everywhere from stopping dissention in the ranks to scouting up ahead to fighting in the thick of things. You have given true depth to your character. MrSmiley

Comments in reference to the character Jarek Morvenson a Human: (Add Comments Here)Just an outstanding game session all around! What a blast it was. Very hard to pick a BIG in this one... but because of your excellent posts in the RP thread (really created an emotional response and well crafted) I have to give it to you, for that reason. very, VERY well done and a big turning point in Jarek‘s development for sure!

Comments in reference to the character Jarek Morvenson a Human: I had given up doing reviews because a regular stream of ‘excellent as usual‘ loses its usefulness after a few weeks, no matter how true it is. BUT, this week is an exception, a fantastic game filled with some of the finest roleplaying from all concerned. Jareks gradual development over the past months reached a pivitol moment for this character, which opened the door to some excellent roleplay as Jarek and other characters reacted to this turning point in his life.

Comments in reference to the character Jarek Morvenson a Human: Convincingly played the role of a hard-edged rogue, working with the party smoothly but still conveying the fact that he wasn‘t particularly interested in being nice. Played sort of a ‘gruff mentor‘ towards some of the other characters.

Comments in reference to the character Jarek a Human: (Add Comments Here) dare i say it? it appeared that jarek and tomarian actually bonded a bit this session.... maybe only a little bit, but even that would have been surprising a short time ago! lol I‘m glad that Millard wasn‘t able to hear a few of the comments Jarek made while Millard, Rhade, and Raven were making their way through Moander‘s Realm! lol It was hard enough for him to earn some respect from Jarek, without losing it right away!

Comments in reference to the character Jarek a Human: A great portryal of a man depressed and alone, ready to give up and die. Just maybe, that spark of humanity can drag him back from the brink. Fantastic roleplay as usual. This unusual character is bringing out the best in all of us.

Comments in reference to the character Jarek a Human: (Add Comments Here)Jarek had a really tough week in the RP thread. And yet, in actual play, he was the best he‘s ever been! :) I think Jarek should be a poster child for why playing an evil charry is so tuff..... and i think you should are a prime example of how to play an evil character and survive! :) great job as always..... your RP‘ing ability is tops.... ‘grats too on your HOF nomination!

Comments in reference to the character Jarek a Human: (Add Comments Here) Great job of playing Jarek once again! gotta love this maddening character.. hee hee. He started out the session in his usual role as scout/leader, then after a comment from Rhade and an encounter with Rahjak once again began sulking and hanging in the background, eventually forcing poor sneaky Millard to actively search for a trap to walk into, just to wake Jarek up to the fact that his skills were needed. by sessions end, jarek was back to being his usual cocky, but competent self! :) another BIG for developing the first evil charry i‘ve actually enjoyed having in my party, and delivering on it week after week!

[StarStuff's reply to comment: roflmao I really had no idea the trap-springing was deliberate, that makes it even funnier! *wipes away a tear, puts on serious face* Thankyou for your kind words and I hope Jarek continues to keep you entertained as we progress further into the adventure.

Comments in reference to the character Jarek a Human: How is it that this un-trustworthy, vicious killer, can be liked so much? Well, liked by this reviewer, if not by my character! Very well played.

Comments in reference to the character Jarek a Human: (Add Comments Here) What a well-concieved and complex character Jarek is. A character that is so easy to dislike and admire all at the same time! Outstanding job of role-playing and certainly worth another BIG.

Comments in reference to the character Jarek a Human: A well concieved character, with considerable depth. Some brave choices in going for characteristics that would ensure that Jarek is not likeable, and then walking that fine line that allows the him to stay in the group. certainly provides plenty of scobe for the others to roleplay against. Well deserved BIG.

Comments in reference to the character Jarek a Human: I like this character, you are never quite sure what he is going to do, but you never feel that what he does is out of character. Very well played.

Comments in reference to the character Jarek a Human: (Add Comments Here) Learned a lot about Jarek this session, and he always reacted to situations like a rogue would. Really enjoyed the dynamic between Jarek and Raven, can‘t wait to see how this is going to end!

Comments in reference to the character Jarek a Human: Excellent roleplaying, I almost ended up just following along to see what was going to happen next. I did not want the last session to end, It was great watching the tension between yourself, Raven and Zachafar build up.

Comments in reference to the character Jarek a Human: An excellent performance, as usual, Jarek‘s comments whilst Tomarian‘s youthful excitement got the better of him are a delight, as was Jarek‘s interaction with Glodron throughout the session.
