And who the boy runs to for safety. But *Tat looks at him thoughtfully* something more is there, a sadness, tat does not know why, which is something more to it than just death of his mentor. A quiet but warm fellow, but why?.. Is it cause he is a drow, I do know he seems to want to shoulder all the world‘s problems and certainly takes them to heart, so compassionate is he. I love playing with this group, I cannot begin to say how much. Each and every one of you has a PC with depth, a PC that is moving and rich. LRP

Mostly I ask myself, What is he doing in a Role Play game? Very little roleplaying at all. Mostly ran to the front, hack and slash and died. A cleric is supposed to be responsible for the welfare of the group. Yet during the times where he wasn‘t dead (from running to the front) we were all dead and he was fine with health. Hmm I feel this player would do better in single player mode or playing solo modules.

He did an adequate job, but remained quiet for much of the adventure, possibly because the previous relationships and knowledge/experience of the others worked against him. I think the group as a whole has some responsibility for helping him get involved more next time.

Rigo the Hobbit: Fun game, Rigo, well played performance by you here. It was good to see a sneaky rogue plotting various ways to steal items from certain pirates. ;) Even if you did only see one of two skeleton sorcerers awaiting you... >=)

I read some reviews of this player before the game and I‘ll admit to being a bit worried going in. From what I saw, he has improved much over what others said about him. He still has some work to do if he wants to be a good role player but this may not be his goal. I think with some encouragement he will improve and should be able to get past OOC talk, meta gaming, etc. I suggest you read the Role Players Guide on the Vault, there‘s a link to it on NWC. I did enjoy playing with you and was able to ignore the slight bits of OOC stuff (for example, using +1 when describing a weapon). Not all of us come from a strict RP background and that‘s nothing to be ashamed of. It‘s good to see someone try even if they‘re shaky at first.

Rigo the quintessential halfling rogue-- inquisitive, sly, and having a motor that does not stop. A valuable member of the team as he was always about scouting the terrain a league ahead, reporting his findings back to us.

Comments in reference to the character Gormerik a gnome: I believe this player would be best suited to a single player game. Not only were they disruptive throughout the game they had no regard for players or DM wishes at all. I would avoid playing with this player for so many reasons, mainly for the players inability to stay with the party or even realize that all encounters and treasure where DM controlled. This led to the game taking far longer that it needed to and much of the role playing being abandoned. The player totally spoil the atmosphere with his continual changing of outfits, especially whilst the DMs where giving story information through NPCs. During the encounter stages of the module the player showed no grasp or would not listen to tactics and continually died by running alone into situations that the group as a hole could of easily handled. On top of that the player used bad language and was insulting to other players.

Maybe a suggestion:
Try to take it more slowly,.. and do not open the first door you see when you enter a town *g* (my luck that I placed a citizen NPC beforehand, behind the door hehe)
And please remember that we played on a soundstage module (all encounters are prepared on-the-fly(citizen,...), all NPC are DM possesed, all treasures were not generated but set beforehand in the toolset and on-the-fly).

This player was a hack and slasher and he joined a Role Play game. Even when he knew that he didnt care, and proceeded to cuss his way through. He was completely unreasonable and was basically a very big pain in the ass. I wouldnt play with this player again unless I want a ruined game.
