Zoe‘s cruelty in killing whole vilages, relentlessly tracking Darla and killing Aven, perhaps others, is simply frightning. Will no on step up who can challenge her and stop this madness? Will Zoe have her way? Will Hero and Darla never be together, first kept apart by Aven and now captured and headed for a wedding she cannot escape from? Will Daisy make more dead guys? Will Brandon get his cold spells powerful enough to defeat even one General? Will Hero be rescued from the sunken ship? Will anything work out?

He shows appropriate concern for Nessa, the prickly seer whom he is apprenticed to. This dispite her coldness towards him. Wolfgang plays this intriguing character with exceptional creativity.
