Sadly no one saw the benefit of instilling good diplomatic relations with the foreigners. Our goal was only to return with information not a sword which we did‘nt even know existed until the knights told us. Ironically I was trying desperately to give our duke an inroad to the knights superiors so he might learn their goals directly. Ah well, it was fun none the less.
[Piddle's reply to comment: You're absolutely right about the orders. Unfortunately I couldn't remember the quest instructions and the server reboot prevented me from going back and re-reading it. I took Tinker's word for it. If you noticed I blocked the door to prevent anyone from leaving while the dispute was settled as a Lawful character I disarmed myself to prevent bloodshed. Unfortunately some PCs use violence as someone already stated as their first resort. ]

This player seems to use the same idea for all the characters ive seen. The idea of greed and selfishness whether he is charging in with HPs and armor or sneaking in with stealth the goal is the same “be the first one there and grab what you can and damn the consequences to the party“
