Comments in reference to the character Brok-Tul a Half-Orc: Incredible performance from beginning to end. I‘ve watched this blustering “bad boy“ grow and stretch as his devotion to Helm settled more gracefully on his shoulders. He‘s still a bad boy, but certainly not a one-dimensional one by any means! Superbly done! - KatDragon

Comments in reference to the character Brok-Tul a Half-Orc: Brok-Tul‘s fiery passion for justice and devotion to protecting the weak got the better of his (never fully reliable) judgment. The storming of Hallton manor was exciting, if painful, to watch, as both Brok-Tul and Veran gave their last effort to the cause and Rahnee barely made it away alive. Regardless of whether Brok-Tul goes on to his final reward with Helm, however, he will always have been true to himself. --Carlo

Comments in reference to the character Brok-Tul a Half-Orc: Brok‘s decision that he was going to try to force the issue of his marriage to Rahnee surprised me. Brok normally bulls his way through things, but over the past six months of play, Brok has become more settled, more at peace with himself and his belief in his god. Perhaps he is beginning to learn that friends at his back are a good thing and not necessarily a liability.

Comments in reference to the character Brok-Tul a Half-Orc: It has been fascinating to watch Brok grow and change, to find his way to being better than he was. The interaction with Jamal tonight was but just a sample of the changes in Brok. A lot of the changes are pretty subtle for what one would expect to be a bull-in-the-china-shop character! - Kat

Comments in reference to the character Brok-Tul a Half-Orc: Never fully comfortable in-character with his previous role as a (largely) reformed cleric of Mask, Brok-Tul has embraced his conversion to Helm with a remarkable and believable zeal. Raulen does this sort of thing well and Brok-Tul is perhaps the best example I have seen of a PC turning his life around in-game; Raulen‘s speech to Jamal about his childhood on the streets brought home how far he has come. One feels that Brok-Tul had been trying to find his way for a very long time and now has left any doubts behind. On the other hand, things are still far from free and easy for him in the campaign, what with being on a collision course with his former employers and his big mouth still a threat to the party in tense situations (remember Gonzo?) --Carlo
[Raulen Androvius's reply to comment: Yes, but Gonzo would have LOST. He was a BABY!... eh, well, juvenile. VERY juvie. He didn't have a breath weapon so much as he had moments of interesting flame. ]

Comments in reference to the character Brok-Tul a Half-Orc: I‘ve enjoyed watching Brok grow into his priest of Helm aspect, as he works his laborious way through writings of philosophy and canon. Just as the young Brok made his own place in the Night Masks and the church of Mask, so will mature Brok turn the Helmite church upside down given the right opportunity! - KatDragon

Comments in reference to the character Brok-Tul a Half-Orc: Brok-Tul, while always a voluble and interesting character, I believe has been hitting his stride in the last few sessions. Playing someone with true personality and giving proper weight to both strengths and weaknesses is a difficult task, and I have been particularly impressed with Brok‘s occasional IC missteps; flaws give depth and illuminate personalities more than anything else, in my estimation. While Brok-Tul‘s relationships with the other PCs in the campaign are all interesting and fun to watch, the one with Rahnee has produced the most intense moments. Seeing those two interact, whether in quiet moments alone or with the group, demonstrates powerfully what two mature roleplayers with an understanding of the human condition can bring to a roleplaying experience. --Carlo

Comments in reference to the character Brok-Tul a Half-Orc: Brok continues to give lie to the dumb half-orc stereotype. Quick on his verbal feet. I was rolling on the floor as Brok and Marik engaged in the armor-smithing design discussion during the City Guard interrogation. Priceless! - KatDragon

Comments in reference to the character Brok-Tul a Half-Orc: Great job! Things strayed a bit from what we had planned, but thanks to Brok-Tul‘s well chosen words, we had good results in the end, without risking getting hurt in the process. I really feel that little by little Brok‘s personality is winning the group and Jokull finds his more trustworthy every minute. Thanks for the fun!

Comments in reference to the character Brok-Tul a Half-Orc: Brok-Tul manages to come up with creative solutions for every situation the group comes upon, with his eyes always on the bigger picture. Very friendly all the time, he has a very interesting personality that develops every session. Not the archetypal half-orc at all. His meeting with Jamal this session was particularly amusing. Good show! It‘s a pleasure playing with you. - FP

Comments in reference to the character Brok-Tul a Half-Orc: Brok-Tul has developed his human (or should I say half-orcish) dimension well. In dealing with both important and mundane activities, Brok-Tul is consistent in applying his savvy and worldview assertively, while at the same time respecting the views of others. Creative ideas and comments flow readily, always IC. A pleasure to see at work (or play). --Carlo

Bro-Tul is a fascinating study in shattering the standard myths of what a half-orc is. And now his brush with Death should make that difference even more interesting.

Comments in reference to the character Brok-Tul a Half-Orc: Brok-Tul has added a lot to the group since his introduction to the campaign. He seems to relate well with everyone in the party, and more recently, his trap ideas were the focus of a very interesting RP session - though unfortunately it didn‘t end so well. Great concept, great character. Keep it up. - FP

Comments in reference to the character Brok-Tul a Half-Orc: After a few sessions with Brok-Tul, it‘s clear that his personality and worldview are wonderfully developed. He‘s the kind of character you love to see in a novel and no less so in a campaign, helping the setting come alive through his presence. Always offers a unique perspective on the situations the party faces and the character‘s ideas are all firmly grounded in Brok-Tul‘s experiences and motivations. The player‘s background knowledge of Westgate doesn‘t hurt, either. --Carlo
