Comments in reference to the character Raike a Elf: At first he didn‘t seem to want to play a role in a rogue scenario, though that‘s what it was billed as. He did come around to it though and made some creative and effective moves to help see the mission to a successful conclusion.

YH-47 -- It‘s difficult as a player to accept that their PC will not be getting as much DM attention or have as much influence on the storyline as the others. SLS portrays such a character with consistency and creativity. Not to forget being our kickass tank at the same time :) Great game today. BiG all the way! Cheers -- AV

YH-47 -- It‘s easy to overlook one of the more entertaining characters in the campaign, so well does SLS play a background role. Great interaction with Gavin. Takes self-control to resign your PC to being completely uninvolved in the decision making. Wish my job was like that :P Cheers -- AV

Comments in reference to the character Ellon a Human Child: I found Ellon‘s character to be once again interesting this session. However, he did seem to test the barriers of the suspension of disbelief a little too much with his questioning of how the setting works, when the answers we were being given were fairly clear; it seemed questioning for questioning‘s sake, in order to poke holes in the world the DMs had created for us. Not so impressed by that I have to say. Maybe I‘m interpreting it wrong, still, it felt like it spoiled the session just a little. Good rp other than that though.

Comments in reference to the character Kalen Farlander a Human: (Add Comments Here) Great campaign, I was glad to see Kalen choose the dark side at the end as it fit his roleplay. I‘ll be honest, at times some of the seemingly ooc questioning of the DM‘s was a bit tiring, but it can be tough to gel with a new group. Take care and good gaming!

Comments in reference to the character Kalen Farlander a Human: If you‘d asked me at the start of this campaign whether or not I‘d want to see Kalen‘s face anywhere but on the end of a pike, I‘d have said no. After these many weeks, though, I have to admit that you grew on me. Yes, the constant stream of negativity was a real drag at times, but I can appreciate that your character had reasons for being that way. You were definitely a valuable part of the team, both for your skills and your perspective. While it sometimes took some arm-twisting to get you to cough up the things you were hoarding, I do believe that you had the best interests of the group in mind more often than not. I hope to see you in-game again, in a non-Sithy role.

Comments in reference to the character Kalen Farlander a Human: (Add Comments Here)Comments on the whole campaign. I don‘t really know what to say. I think it has all been covered before. I don‘t think you are a bad player so much as you just didn‘t gel with the rest of the group. I think your PC was well thought out to start but he showed no growth or devolpment over the course of the games. Every group needs the glass half empty guy but you had a habit of going on for too long, or cuting off NPCs when they are giving out info. I know it is a engine limitation but it is something to think about. Overall I would play with you again just to see if you can play something different or if every PC you do is the same way.

Comments in reference to the character Ellon a Human Child: Ellon seemed quiet and reserved, and generally stayed away from the group as a whole. I liked the device of the hand-held console; good way of giving some activity to your character while remaining at arms length. I do hope that Ellon will be a nut whose shell we can crack though - it‘d be a shame if she remained as this remotish figure for the entire campaign. Looking forward to next time greatly.

Comments in reference to the character Kalen Farlander a Human: KotNR campaign review. A great campaign, I think all of us did a lot of growing in this venture into the unknown. Comments in reference to the character Adam Kaim a Human: This character is becoming quite domineering, which is an acceptable IC trait. However, I am a little concerned about this translating into a domination of play, that could be detrimental to the experience of the rest of the players. The domineering character trait will be amusing to play against, so I hope to be proven wrong in my fear.

Comments in reference to the character Adam Kaim a Human: Once again Adam was well played and interseting. He‘s developing well. If I had one issue it was his tendancy to wonder far from the rest of the group. With three DMs this isn‘t an issue, but with us dropping to two DMs next session we may need to reign him in again. I like the fact that Adam is turning into a bit of an investigator. Nice research - he was usually ahead of the group figuring out what was going on too.

Comments in reference to the character Haguru Setsuna a : Haguru took a more vocal role in the group in the absence of Jin. Comments in reference to the character Haguru Setsuna a : Haguru Setsuna is quiet a mysterious character. I think it is intended to be so. | 12/11/06 |
Comments in reference to the character Haguru Setsuna: Haguru was quite distant and aloof this session, keeping silent for a large proportion of the time, and keeping his distance for even more of it. It would be good to learn a little more of him during the course of play - including seeing his face! - but I‘m sure this will come in time. I‘d suggest you consider how he reacts to the circumstances he finds himself in - particularly since, considering the setting the DM has created, are even more unusual than the average fantasy yarn.

Comments in reference to the character Kalen Farlander a Human: I‘m leaving comments, only, because I sincerely want this to be taken as useful observations, and not a “rating“ as such.
Kalen has always been an outsider to the group, partly due to character, partly due to the simple fact that the opening appeared after the campaign had started. He‘s taken that role to heart, and has also made some hints at exploring the Dark Side of his personality, so it‘s only natural that there would be some friction with the rest of the group.
During the session in which the group investigated the droid factory, though, I think that Kalen may have pushed this friction a bit too far. Nearly everything he said was either sarcasm or criticism of the group. It only takes a small dose of that to show that your character is still firmly his own man, even if circumstances have him travelling with the rest of the group for a while. When it‘s done to excess, it just becomes grating.
Please keep in mind, too, the limitations of the game engine and what it means to have every conversation typed. There‘s no opportunity to soften a harsh word with a mischievous look or grin. And yes, we offered a number of different excuses in order to stay docked at the station and continue our investigation, which would have sounded suspicious when taken all together. We have a smart group coming up with ideas all at once; what would be cleared up in moments were we sitting around a table takes several seconds to shake out at keyboard speed. The DM picks the conversation thread he wants to follow, and we go with it.
In any group dynamic, be it sports teams, work environments, or a bunch of misfit padawans, everyone must give up a bit of himself in order for the group to succeed as a whole. Kalen is an interesting character, and he can continue to be so without needing to thrust his individuality into every opportunity. I hope that you‘ll be able to find that balance as we continue toward our rightful place ruling--er, I mean, protecting--the galaxy.

Comments in reference to the character Amir a Elf: A strong willed, somewhat self-important character for sure, but an interesting one. Amir‘s fascination with the local lore seems to be pulling the party along a little, at this stage in the campaign at least. His wandering around has led him to seem more knowledgable about the surrounding areas, though I can‘t help but feel it‘ll run him into trouble sooner or later.
Amir‘s feuding with Simon (and to lesser extents Trakken as well) is entertaining, and further shows the ‘pride‘ aspect to his personality.

Comments in reference to the character Enju a Half-Elf/Sprit Folk:A lot of players tend to be a bit quiet on their first game but the otherworldly Enju jumped straight in giving us a real feeling for the character, and there was some nice roleplay between himself and Shen who seem to have a subplot going on.
Obviously there is a lot of depth and back story to this character which will be interesting to discover as we progress. The player could have perhaps held back on some of the information as it was a lot to take in for a first session. But all in all seems like a great character and look forward to playing alongside him in the future.

Enju looks to be an interesting and detailed character, who obviously has a distinctly different outlook on the world around him. Kudos for playing him very realistically, and making him quite so different. However, things are best in moderation, and I felt the onslaught of words and concepts dragged the game a little. Keep foreign words for the really important concepts, and they suddenly become that much more potent when you do use them. Despite these few foibles however, Enju was well-played, and I certainly look forward to finding out more about him in the coming sessions. You did a good job of getting your character into a group that already has a well-established history and dynamic. Looking forward to next time.

Comments in reference to the character Levi a Elf: Levi is starting to realise the depth of the problems he faces in the tower. Not only there is a lack of treasure to find, what little there is seems to be heavily trapped. Teamwork is the only solution, and with some of the party members lagging behind his refreshed sense of purpose, he must feel frustrated when progress is slowed. Great game!

Comments in reference to the character Levi a Elf: Levi showed a great deal of interest in the panels and aided Roo in solving their puzzle. Comments in reference to the character Levi a Elf: My, poor you :) You‘ve been thrown at the deep end here. The party are weary of this new character, but their deep seeded paranoia stems from something you‘ll learn on the road. I must hand it to you, it‘s difficult finding a niche in a campaign that has been going on for over a year now. Comments in reference to the character Grim a Human: (Add Comments Here) Creepy, dark.. man.. poor Westiah.. he gonna hide udner his bed, never daring to go out again, beliving death is waiting outside.. :)
Great RP of the “mysterious, dark man“.. he is so mysterious, its not possible to tell, if he is good, or evil.. does he have any sorrows.. he fills alot in the party, yet, probably the one that least shows whats inside.. will the party ever be able to see who and what he really is.. or will he keep eluding them... looking forward to see what will happen :)

Comments in reference to the character Grim a Human: A mysterious figure, all that is known about this man - if he could be called that - is that few is known about him. He shuns light and abhors song, his face is wrapped in shadows and his voice is about as pleasant a sound as a knife scratching bone. Noone knows if he can be trusted, nor what his intention are, but it seems as if there is not much choice but to follow his guidance, and head the few words he speaks... and to warry.
Great playing. You sure know how to be enigmatic. :p

Comments in reference to the character Sirin a Drow: Sirin proves to be a rather moderate, sensible kind of bad guy; showing a curious tendency to try to keep his word, or at least keep his word to a greater extent than the bloodthirsty cut-throats he‘s fallen in with would. I feel it is only a matter of time before the party‘s actions drive his sarcasm into apoplexy.

Comments in reference to the character Sirin a Drow: (Add Comments Here)I‘m giving this guy the BIG, why? Because he convinced his party to let him burn a corpse after he swore to do so. When the whole party didn‘t give a damn and were evil. Good job!

Comments in reference to the character Sirin a Drow: Sharp-tongued and put-upon, Sirin continues as the lone voice of frustrated sanity in a party of the mad and bad. And he does it very well.

Comments in reference to the character Sirin a Drow: (Add Comments Here)Sirin was in top form once again. His sarcastic attitude and his personal quests really showed. When he was taking the necromancer aside, we thought perhaps he‘d just kill him or something, but then he brought up his questions about death and the god of death. This was some great RP and we liked how he was with the party, but still had his own agenda, seeming to care little for them beyond the fact that they can help him accomplish his goals. I‘d like to see his nature, whether it‘s evil or whatever it is, come out a bit more, but this character I think will be one of my favorites. So close to the BIG, it was hard to decide. Though I did give it to another character, Sirin was very close to being my choice. Good playing.

Comments in reference to the character Sirin a Drow: (Add Comments Here)Still getting to know this drow, but I like the way you are playing him so far. Sarcastic enough to be noticed, but not to stick out too far, I think this will be one of the key characters of this game. I‘d like to see more of his personality come out around the others, or see how he will meld around the other strong personalities, but so far I like what I see. Didn‘t get my BIG this time around, but don‘t think you are too far from it. Keep it up. Good stuff so far.

This player went off by himself alot which in some mods is ok, but here it seems that he could have stayed with the group a little bit more because there are a limited amount of quests and also it was designed for a single party in mind. He did learn his lesson I think when he died in the end. Hope to see him again as a more pleasant cooperative character. :P
