It is always fun roleplaying with Pumpkin. Of course, she may not be in the best of terms with most of the characters, including mine. Pumpkin, as always, is a heartbreaker and the bringer of false hopes - :(. As I said though, very fun, and good RP. Brings an interesting twist to the game.
06/22/08
Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: What a crazy character. Once we finaly give up on her she gets it right. She will rob you blind and sell her own grandmother. Either way she certainly made the game.

Comments in reference to the character Grovel a Goblin: Great game, lots of fun. I love the way Grovel is so eloquent and proper when he speaks goblin. :)

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: *in goblinese* I say chaps, I don't suppose you mind awfully if I requested that you didn't burn the forest.

*in human* Grovel says stop, or die.

Comments in reference to the character Amilia Cystafer an Elf: Sorry you missed the game. You were missed. I hope the flooding stops soon.

Amilia‘s anger at the sword being stolen was palpable. What a contrast to her happier side. Fantastic roleplay HH.

Comments in reference to the character Amilia Cystafer a Elf: The horse lords are all going mad I tell you, Swearing, spitting, smoking, newly wed woman flirting with others, one eating raw meat and rescuing burned flowers and more.

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: It might be surprising, but Amilia grabbing the burning bouquet was actually her 'normal' self....whatever 'normal' is in Amilias little bubble.

Comments in reference to the character Amilia Cystafer a Elf: (Add Comments Here) Amilia... the proverbial “rose among the thorns“. How can you deal with such chaos in your own party all the time? Turning green and throwing up is one way! LOL. Actually, very well roleplaying the whole evil-item-trying-to-dominate-paladin thing. Can‘t wait to see what Amilia does for an encore.

Comments in reference to the character Amilia Cystafer a Elf: (Add Comments Here)I refrained from marking Amilia as ‘speaking out of turn‘ or ‘outlandish‘ as they are often viewed as a negative in the rating system. In HORSELORDS, she‘s a breath of fresh air with those quirks!!

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: speaking out of turn? That is not a category. I assume you mean 'inappropriately dominated all conversations', and you would be correct that it would be viewed negatively

Comments in reference to the character Raith Ash a Half-Elf: Raith‘s hurt was palpable. He seems trapped between the humans and elves. Perhaps Luna‘s friendship and Elemmire‘s concern help begin his healing? A touching portrayal, well played!

Comments in reference to the character Hellen Savage a : (Add Comments Here)This PC doesn’t speak, so if any player marks her, as too quiet, they should be shot. Though she never spoke she was able to tell us her name, and help quite a bit really. She also use emotes so she was constantly involved with the game. I wonder why she wears the wedding dress, I wonder why she don’t speak, I wonder why she as no problem stripping down so as not to get her dress wet. Too bad she doesn’t speak to tell us her tale, I bet it is interesting.

Comments in reference to the character Star Fleetfoot a Halfling: Star‘s a dedicated paladin of Marcus. She always gives all the honor to the Great Baker. Wonderful roleplay, HH.
05/05/06
Star, I was impressed with the courage of this little paladin. She waded in there with the baddies and didn’t even blink. I really like the songs that would come at the oddest times. Great role-play always a pleasure.

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: Did you see me whack a stinger for 75 damage? level 9 and capable of a 75 hp critical hit... thats the Fleetfoot way!

Comments in reference to the character Astra Keline a Elf: Astra has reason for hope her father and perhaps her mother are alive. Her joy as the news was palable. Bravo HH!

Comments in reference to the character Astra Keline an Elf: It‘s always great to RP with you. I am thrilled to see more depth in this character. She is usually so hard to read. I hope to see more of her. Always a pleasure.
04/23/06
Comments in reference to the character Astra Keline a Elf: (Add Comments Here)poor astra..so torn with emotion..the party can only hope to see her again...i thought it was a very well played game,and you played astras reaction well.. hope to see you in future sessions

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: when i create a character, i either make them like an open book, or i create hidden layers. This is one that has much which she does not share willingly.

]

04/23/06
Fantastic session. Learned and saw so much more of Astra, even if only a glimpse. Looking forward to seeing more in the future.
04/22/06
Comments in reference to the character Onyx Bramblewood a Halfling: Onyx seemed concerned that everyone learn to like Quentin the skeleton. She does not know, or probably does not know the history of the village and the attack of undead. Quintin really tried to make friends, his daisy chains were gifts he made that went unaccepted. Can you hurt the feelings of a skeleton? -- If so his were hurt.

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: I am trying to portray that, if a good soul is put into undead, the creature is not necessarily evil. I am hoping to pull it off, but it is a difficult challenge.

]

04/21/06
Great game. No marks till we get used to the system. Always a pleasure. No half-orc?

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: I guess not.... unless the half-orc managed to disguise himself as an eastern woman. Maybe Kimiko was really the half-orc in disguise.... but then again, maybe not.

Comments in reference to the character Steeleye O‘the Hat a Half-Orc: (Add Comments Here)I‘m sorry Hat didn‘t get to ride the horses. It would have been a great sight. A fun game and an amazing world.
04/17/06
Although not the character played in-game (due to scheduling conflicts I believe), Halfling Heaven‘s characters are always humorously and thoughtfully portrayed. There‘s always a subtle hook, that should keep other players on their toes!
04/17/06
Comments in reference to the character Steeleye O‘the Hat a Half-Orc: (Add Comments Here)I’m not leaving marks for anybody on this test run. I don’t know about you, but I had a blast. I would do it again in a heart beat. Everybody was great and nobody died. Everybody got BiG’s in my book.

Lets just say good game for this one.
04/14/06
Star Fleetfoot, a Halfling: Ahhh... merry song, fine wines, good times. Watch out though -- this doughty little Halfling packs a punch!
04/14/06
Star is definitely a hero! She took out many of those critters without help. I really like the role-play that was going on between the halfling women and the songs had me falling out of my chair! It is nice to see somebody else get lost for a change. Great game always a pleasure.

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: I always get lost in that desert deliberately. seeing as i designed it and have an OOC map, 'not getting lost' seems like meta-gaming.

Comments in reference to the character Burk (& Daughter) a Half-Orc: (Add Comments Here)What can I say. Footprints all over, inkstains on the linen. The perfect house guest. Great rp. It was fun.
04/09/06
Comments in reference to the character Burk (& Daughter) a Half-Orc: The phrase ‘Burk in a China Shop‘ comes to mind, along with ‘Don‘t kick the baby!‘, but definietly an asset to any adventuring team, and great value entertainment.

Comments in reference to the character Anjelline Hanacae an Elf: It was a pleasure getting to know Anjelline. Amazing how different her views on things are. It‘s like she‘s an elf from a different world. To think she is in love with a human?! Great RP. Always a pleasure.
03/27/06
Comments in reference to the character Anjelline Hanacae a Elf: Switching from the cold and detached warrior to the naive city-dwelling spellcaster, great RP as usual. A pleasure to play with you.
03/27/06
anjelline seemed strangely quiet this episode...perhaps she was brooding on her choice of traveling companions, rethinking her path..however when needed she came through and that‘s what really counts..

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: Quiet? I was a little quieter than usual because of a recent accusation that all my characters are too loud, followed by another comment that all my characters cause trouble. It seems I cant win. I try not to give people a bad review ever.To mark that my character was TOO quiet is a little unfair seeing as she was speaking to people or *emoting* all session. I have been in sessions where people have not spoken all session, and NEVER given them a bad review.

]

Comments in reference to the character Anjelline Hanacae a Elf: (Add Comments Here)Well played. Each character will take some time to learn. They aren’t as gloomy as I thought. Thanks for a great game!

Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: It‘s good to have Squirrel back. Her witty quips about Emily and the others bring smile.

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: Emory has not reacted yet to the nickname Emily. Glendore has not reacted to the nickname Glenda. Darius..... I dont even think he understands the nickname Dairy-ass. And as for Muckswill...

Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: Poor Pumpkin. First, she disappears under mysterious circumstances, then she reappears and promptly is bored out of her little fiendish mind. Was it a mistake to come back? surely not! we all missed her, the little brat ;)
03/22/06
Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: It was great to have Squirrel back. It has not been the same with out her. I hope she comes back again next week, who knows.. maybe somewhere out there she will find another oakbutt. Great RP.. Always a pleasure.

02/23/06
Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: (Add Comments Here) Oh dear - poor Squirrel‘s chest broke. And for the first time we see real emotion in her. Oh think of the money that she could‘ve earned with that chest. Oh well all good things come to an end. Her relationship with Max is beginning to become a massive concern to Darius but he is far too distracted by ghosts and love to pay much attention. Great RP HH - always a pleasure meeting a fellow Londoner.

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: What gave away that I am a Londoner? It was the threats with a lump of wood wasnt it. LOL

]

02/23/06
Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: What a touching scene when Squirrel found a friend in the animated table that she named Oakbutt. Such a shame that the magic of the animation wore off when the table left the wizard tower. Great roleplay, HH.

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: *gasps* Oakbutt has hardly had time to arrive at the great carpenter in the sky, and you are already insulting him. He was a CHEST, not a lowly table.... and he had more legs than a table too!! And a lock!

]

02/22/06
Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: The loss of her beloved chest almost broke her heart - perhaps, at the end of all things, Pumpkin will yet come to rest in her long lost, perhaps almost forgotten, little wooden box!
02/22/06
Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: They say birds of a feather flock together and that seems to be the case with Squirrel and Maxwell. It seems an alligence has formed and cemented between the two over an unlikely piano. But poor Squirrel has to come to terms with mortality when her beloved Oakbutt exits this plane of existance we call life. How sad to watch the heartbroken halfling sob as the one thing she truly cares for is so cruelly taken from her. Great RP. Always a pleasure.
02/22/06
Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: I love the way Squirrel holds herself in this unforgiving world. With a cursed club, a good shot pure chaos and a sense for the business there´s still room for true emotions. Great game!
02/22/06
Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: It‘s just too hard to focus on what I‘m doing when I‘m afraid I‘ll miss what you‘re doing. I suppose I could read the logs after, but.. The piano was just too funny. Is there anything Squirrel can‘t influence with that bat?

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: The tide... but she's tried.

]

02/22/06
Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: A great rogue (as a professional) and of the bucnh Jenny still considers Squirrel the most honest (despite concealing her name)... seriously... you can stop laughing now. Squirrel is not afraid to say what is on her mind (so it seems). She would probably even tell you if she were going to rob you or has robbed you, if you pushed her for the truth. Most would deny it like a compulsive liar afraid of the consequences.

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: Actually, she has already told you all a few times that she will rob you all. Maybe Jenny needs to learn some halfling language to notice when Squirrel warned them though.

]

02/20/06
Wow. Seeing sides of Astra I‘d not have expected to be there. *grin* And, 3 minutes after she sobers up and comes too, complains we‘re slowing her down, *sigh* of course. ;) Great RP.

02/16/06
Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: I have to say I was surprised she did not sell Caitlyn to the bartender as a dancer and take a finders fee. Great RP. Good luck with your business ventures. With all that Squirrel is working on one is bound to become luctrative. Always a pleasure.

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: I think it is plain to see that IF pumpkin was in Star Trek, she would be a natural born Ferengi..... (but better looking)

]

02/16/06
Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: Pumpkin‘s a true business woman. She‘s always on the lookout for a golden opportunity to make some dough. With her looks and smarts, Pumpkin will go far. She could turn around even the worst business endeavor. Pumpkin really spiced things up with her accusations towards Sensai. Her business propositions for the barkeep were a hoot. Her BiG!

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: To a 'Heavener', dough is something you bake bread from. To a 'Dahkling', dough is something you buy a bakery with.... either that or you just steal the bread and keep the gold.

]

02/15/06
Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: (Add Comments Here) My word. I think the unthinkable is happening. Darius is beginning to understand Pumpkin better. He still find her irritating, but in a sort of little brother sorta way. Great gaming HH

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: Darius made a comment which was very true. She thinks of herself first in all situations. Second priority is profit. Third priority..... Friends, maybe?

02/09/06
Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: Will Squirrel get the recognition she deserves for being a great scout, or will everyone ignore her time and time again? Does the lack of attention bother her, or does she only care about the next treasure chest? Will we ever see that winsome smile again? Great RP. Always a pleasure.
02/08/06
Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: (Add Comments Here) Well, well, well. It seems someone knows Squirrels secret. That stopped the witty come backs. How will Squirrel (or should I say Pumpkin) handle this. Watch this space... Loved the RP Halfling

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: I must admit, I would like to know how this information was discovered, and what information he thinks he knows. (seeing as i have discussed the matter with nobody OOC or IC).

]

02/02/06
Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: So small, so innocent looking, and yet, bad to the bone... and probably beyond. I guess your nickname will be changed soon to Pumpkin “This chest is MINE“ Pye ^^ But I love the style, so I hope scaring little girls is still on the menu next session!
02/02/06
Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: (Add Comments Here) Pumpkin is the most selfish Hobbit that Darius has ever come across. He believes that if you spare the rod you spoil the child and that goes for Hobbits of all ages to. I learnt the most from you in this session, Pumpkin. Thanks for the experience.

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: Darius should visit Dahke. He might be shocked to discover that Squirrel is one of the nicer villagers. If she had been THAT selfish, she would not have used up 6 Resurection scrolls. They are kind of expensive.

]

02/02/06
Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: Hidden behind Pumpkin‘s big beautiful eyes is a mean streak. Well, maybe more than a streak. I enjoy Pumpkin‘s acerbic wit and jabs at other party members. Wonderful roleplay, HH.
02/01/06
Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: Squirrel has her priorities straight. All the chests are hers, of course, she‘s seen them first and stakes her claim. Looks like she has found a new friend in Max. Perhaps she is not babysitting material. Great RP.

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: She can sit on babies if needed. The pay better be good though.

Comments in reference to the character Astra Keline a Elf: (Add Comments Here)Astra‘s critical attitude continues to errode her leadership. HH is brilliantly playing a character who is complex and difficult for the characters around her to deal with. A BIG for me.
01/31/06
Astra is a true ranger of the north, and she has below her loner surface a great and caring leader of elves.
01/30/06
Comments in reference to the character Astra Keline a Elf: great RP of a (pg-13 censored comment). I hope that‘s what you‘re going for.
01/30/06
Wow. Cold and mean to a tee. Well rp‘d as always, you pull her off wonderfully. Just waiting for the day Astra finally get right fed up and decides half the group would be a better aid to the elven effort by nourishing the grass and trees from beneath. *big grin*

Comments in reference to the character Pumpkin Pye a Halfling: I laughed so hard when Pumpkin began to speak halfling to show those elven / bard snobs who´s boss :) In a way she´s like Maxwell´s evil little sister... at least to Maxwell. I really enjoy the game and hope she´s up to some future scheming against you know who ;)
01/24/06
Comments in reference to the character Astra Keline a Elf: Astra compliment Elemmire each other in their leadership styles. They do well as a team, Astra‘s determined global-vision balanced with Elemmire‘s strong focus on individuals. Simply wonderful roleplay, HH.

Danger and adversity seems to have forged the Rangers into a more efficient and effective force as the weeks progress. They are becoming more tactically aware and organised. It is Astra who has emerged as the one figure that all of the group turn to for advice and leadership. Well Played HH.

This character attempted to put some much needed organization into the group, but also seemed intent on making sure everyone knew she was right about the Goblin threat all along, in essence saying “I told you so“ on numerous occasions. She seemed to be able to point out whenever someone did something she felt was tactically wrong, yet when questioned about doing similar activities she fell to the back of the party and sulked. The player put a high level of complexity of character into the gaming session. Very well played.

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: She wasn't sulking. She walked away rather than strike a kinsman.

Comments in reference to the character Grovel a Goblin: Grovel‘s tragic past came out, his clan‘s demise and his enslavement. Carrying all that loot really slowed him down. Good thing Trillium gifted him with a bag to carry it in. How many masters did he have? Great fun.

[Halfling Heaven's reply to comment: To be honest, I can't remember if I have ever mentioned how many masters Grovel has had, and I really do not know the answer to that question. I suppose i should guess-timate an answer. 13 previous masters? Unlucky for some.

Comments in reference to the character Dabs a Halfling: Dabs, aka Drarry aka Trubbel, a troubled soul, a kind and gentle soul on the inside despite his tough exterior. He won my character‘s heart (Megan) in the short time he knew her before faking his death. His alter-ego was so convincing that she was angry at him for not knowing anything about her or her feelings for Trubbel. Very well played, even if he did anger her a bit; but, when she learned the truth, that anger eventually turned to sympathy although she never got a chance to convey it. Alas, a fine footnote of a character in a fine campaign. Well played. - Jenniza 2:48am Sunday September, 2005

And as a final reward another pretty stone. Grovel must be so pleased, maybe, yes, yes, YES, maybe....;)
