Learned new things about this PC. He was played well, and I enjoyed the ending where he was playing dead in the graveyard. This player portrays his PC very well in the sense that when the pressure is on his PC freaks out which had me laugh out loud a few times last night. Looking forward to seeing this more. Fun times!!!

She was suitably rattled by the disappearance of her companions, however, she was able to put them behind for a moment and relay the facts to us. She has the potential to be the leader of the tiny group of slaves, simply by having the knowledge before us. We look to her for guidance, I hope she does not fail us.

Mariak gets my BIG for some superb roleplaying and excellent combat tactics this session, both in large things like important NPC interactions, and small ones like interjections and comments on the state of affairs. His magic was very helpful in both of the session‘s major encounters. Great work at every juncture.

Mariak does a great job as an arcane caster in a pretty fast-moving party under rest restrictions. He definitely knows how to hold on to his spells until we really need them, then uses them to give us the edge in battle or help take down a tough opponent. His familiar‘s been invaluable on several occasions, and the way he roleplays with it is very good.

Haden Demarr a Human: Left the game early. Mildly insulted other characters often. At least with a dwarf, it can be in character. Not really a pleasent addition to the group.
[Dogar's reply to comment: Heh, why exactly are non-dwarves not allowed to be cranky? The only people I really insulted ic was one player who ran ahead, set off traps, and attacked NPC's for absolutely no good reason. I also had a good reason for leaving 30 min early, which I told him and he didn't mention in this review. The group didn't really distinguish all that much from ooc talk and rp talk, so I can see how my ic comments could have been misunderstood. I certainly didn't mean to insult anyone personally. ]

I enjoyed interacting with him...he apparently was having connection problems, most likely with his ISP. He left when it got really troublesome. But he was courteous and let everyone know he was leaving and I‘d be glad to see him around again.

Did bail unexpectedly after we switched hands on who was hosting the game. Some clarification on the situation: with two hours remaining, the host said he needed to leave. I offered to host and suggested we all regroup at the forums. Once the game was back up, Mauriac was nowhere to be seen. I was really bummed about this, because I really looked forward to rp‘ing more with this character.
Other than that, you did a fantastic job playing a believable character. I would love to play again with you some time - we seemed to work well off one another.

Introspective, thoughtful, yet at the same time outspoken, about personal, and party goals. Also plays the familiar Mephit Anatole exceedingly well, as a prankster alter ego. Very conscious of potential rules violations, assisted DM staff during game with helpful comments, when other player violated stated rules, during a busy combat, early in the scenario. Easily a close tie for best in game, but was slightly edged out in this specific scenario by another character‘s dramatic qualities. A welcome party member, provided down-to-earth focus to the group, throughout the scenario.

The use of the mephit familiar was excellent, for scouting and practical jokes roleplaying antics. The main PC was serious, the Mephit familiar very much outlandish. Really this is a two character team, and thus a very close call with another player, but slightly edging out for Best In Game.
