Reviews To Date for Olias Stormcrow

Mungo: For the most consistant yelling of GET ME MY LAWYER ever seen in a game, Mungo is awarded the BIG. Besides, he threatened me with a lawsuit if I didn‘t give it to him. Well played.
10/04/05
Mungo: An amazing performance - who knew that Mungo was such a great actor? And could it be...? Father! Well played!
10/04/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo gave a stellar performance, writhing, moaning, and whining. After Mungo and Tyrin, the Demented Penguin Inn will never be the same. Mungo deserves an Oscar. Since I don‘t have an Oscar to give him, I will give him a BiG instead. ;) Hmmm...I wonder how long his acceptance speech will be.
09/26/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: What with his unfortunate fall in the tavern, Mungo‘s found himself a potential gold mine. Get me a LAWYER!
09/20/05
Mungo: Love the hat!
09/18/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mango got saved by the girls. He should really try paying attention to the girls as they seem to stay alive a lot more.
09/12/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo and Bognar know what‘s important in life, good ale. Always fun to game with you, Olias.
09/05/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here) Mungo was present to support the group with his magics - but, sadly, he was rather quiet this game.
08/15/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here) Heheh...I have to say that Mungo ‘studying‘ caused quite a bit of chatter between Bognar and Nimbles. Perhaps all those ‘all nighters‘ at the University of Life will pull off, however, and Mungo will only be the wiser for it.
08/02/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo was truly magnificent as he watched the goofy, love sick elf, in disblief.
08/02/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo applies his intellect the tasks at hand. In this case, getting out of the Mask prison and then searching for Gaven, Glory, and Nims. Great session, Olias!
08/02/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo managed to find his way out of a Mask prison, escape a torture session of a thousand cuts, and still manage to loot a few chests along the way. Well played as always.
08/02/05
Mungo: A jail break, a new adventure, missing comrades, and the promise of loot at the end...what more could a rogue ask for? Unless you‘re Mungo...and then all you want is a great-looking hat! Always a pleasure. Well played.
07/05/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here) ...back to that Ale on a stick again, I see? If it would be so profitable a venture, perhaps it would be worth leaving the adventuring life for?
07/05/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo keeps himself out of arguments. A calculating and intelligent gnome, he watches to see who holds the power in every situation. Stuck in a Mask prison with Tyrin and company isn‘t the best place to find yourself. Despite his current situation, Mungo will make certain that he comes out on top. Great roleplay, Olias.
07/04/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo needs his beauty rest almost as much as Burpee. Oh, and a drink doesn‘t hurt as well. Mungo and Burpee will just have to remind Nimbs of that. ;) Always a pleasure to game with you, Olias.
07/04/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo has, at times, a simple outlook on events and young yobs should anticipate all that‘s coming their way!
07/03/05
Mungo: Mungo‘s pithy remarks usually have me rolling on the floor. But he was the only one that seemed to understand that business is business and that Mask runners are still evil. No matter if they are children. Well played.
06/27/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here) Mungo‘s magics are a great asset to the group‘s ability to wipe out all Frost Giant life as we know it. And is anyone going to cry when they‘re gone? NOoo...
06/27/05
Mungo: Another jaunt around the desert, but it seems we‘ve finally found the temple.
06/14/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo keeps his hat brushed and clean, despite the desert dust. Besides looking spiffy, it keeps the sun from burning his nose. Of course, he needs to maintain his good looks. There‘s that cute little wizard, Mereppi, who owns the apothecary shop in Tharbad. Someday he may get back to see her.
06/14/05
Mungo: Another hat ruined during the 40-day trek in the desert. Where will Mungo find an outfitter that will rise to the sartorial gnome‘s standards? A fur hat...just doesn‘t seem Mungo-ish. Well played.

05/31/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Does Mungo may have any idea where Tyrin wandered off to? If so, he‘s not letting on. Great to have you back, Olias.
05/30/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here) ...enjoys rare foods? Hmm...interesting. A gnome for your thoughts?
05/30/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo‘s back in all his nifty-hat glory. He really enjoyed that bowl of buggy stew, including dipping gravy soaked bread in the ale?
05/30/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: The steadfast Mungo, perhaps, tarried overlong - but none could ever doubt his commitment or stalwart dedication to the companions.
05/10/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: The priestess showing up in the temple kitchen rattled even the cool and collected Mungo, ‘the Magnificient‘. Still, he quickly recovered from falling out of his chair in surprise. Mungo‘s a calculating gnome. He uses his intellect and his hat to the best advantage.
05/10/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo certainly looks dashing in his new robe and nifty hat. Now, suggesting that Euterpe shave her hair...how could he? I mean really. ;)
05/09/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo seemed to draw closer to Tyrin - perhaps there‘s something Mungo needs to know!
04/26/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Intelligent and calculating, Mungo knows when to keep out of a discussion and when to join in. Taking a cue from an old hand at deception, he appeared to be napping. Yet, his suggestions came from keen observations. He‘s pressing his advantage with Grom, especially when presented with the opportunity to further his interests in Mereppi, the lady gnome who owns the Wizard Apothecary Shop. Wonderful roleplay, Olias.
04/25/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Once more Mungo is looked to for his learning, concerning the Isle of the Gnomes he must surely know more than the others!
04/19/05
Mungo‘s plan for Tyrin‘s wedding to Maggie goes into action without a hitch. Meanwhile, Mungo finds himself the focus a pretty and successful wizard lady. His verbal repartee with his obviously inferior competitor proved hilarious. Brought tears to my eyes, I was laughing so hard. BiG from me. C
04/19/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo‘s nifty hat gets him through the sewers, shopping, and even tavern hopping.
04/18/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo continued to harangue Tyrin over his liason with Maggie, and Tyrin sems to be suffering under the strain. Can all the ‘talk‘ of the old lady‘s prowess be true? I wonder just who is playing who‘s fool?
04/18/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Will Mungo win the Lady in the blue tea competition? Will Mungo find blue tea?
04/12/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: What devious plans is Mungo concocting beneath that magnificent hat of his? Just as Tyrin seems to forget the accursed name of Maggie, Mungo reminds him. Wonderful roleplay, Olias.
04/05/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo keeps a sharp eye out for chinks in Tyrin‘s armor. One gets the impression that if he could get away with it, Mungo would turn Tyrin into Sharkey. Tyrin better watch out. This gnome is smart and devious. Creative and multifaceted roleplay from a consummate gamer.
04/04/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo is a gnome of high morals and a loyalty that‘s hard to shake - though just where those morals may lead, and where that loyalty might lie are a matter for some conjecture, perhaps?
03/29/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo keeps reminding Tyrin about someone he‘d rather forget, Maggie. This sharp little wizard plays his cards close.
03/28/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Does Mungo secretly pine for the beautiful Val, or does his heart secretly belong to another lass? Clearly, he basks in all the renown created by his nifty hat. One can literally see him preen whenever it is mentioned, especially when referenced to his title of Dragon Champion.
03/22/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here)gosh missed a lot the game before LOL. Maggie is a sucubi? That mean old Tyrin in trouble there? I knows that why we in that temple looking for some rune or another. That gonna set the boy free then? Sure a lotta questions there then yet eh? Thanks Mungo for filling me in and no..Nimbs never gonna rush ahead and leave her Mungo unprotected.. him to precious for that :)..him still gots lots to learn about dual weilding magic staffs yet LRP
03/22/05
Mungo ‘The Magnificent‘: The sight of a scroll-snatching wizard is always a scream. Mungo seems willing to share his knowledge, but woe to the group if he ever has to choose between a really juicy book of knowledge and the well-being of the band. Mungo is a great companion, throwing spells and turning stone-to-flesh, but there‘s still something self-serving and devious in his eye. He needs watching. Well played, Olias. Always the greatest pleasure.
03/21/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo blushed when Fay kissed him. Seems the attention of a lady can ruffle even “the Magnificent“ Mungo. Good thing for the party, Mungo is along. There would be a few more statues in the ruins, but for him. Olias‘s characters are always creative, responsive and interesting.
03/15/05
Mungo: The wizard had best tread lightly around ole Maggie. It does not due to attract to much attention from her, whatever the cause. Best to give her a wide berth unless you wish to feel the touch of a cold withered hand and hear the endless cackle down the long dark stone corridors of your mind.
03/14/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo looked upon Tyrin a little stoney faced, and not without some disapproval one feels - magnificently entertaining throughout.
03/14/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo seems to be developing quite a rapport with Crazy Maggie. Is this dapper gnome putting the moves on Tyrin‘s *cough* girl? He‘s a sly one, Mungo, plying people with his companionable chats. What about that conspiratorial talk he and Gavin had while poor Tyrin languished as a statue only a few footsteps away? How low can Mungo go.
03/13/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo knew exactly how to fix his drinking buddy Bognar. He offered him a drink. With grace that matches his debonair hat, Mungo gallantly stopped to help Euterpe several times when she slipped in sewer muck. A fun session, Olias. It‘s always a pleasure to play with you.
03/08/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here) Our gnome hath best mind any fire spells while traveling the sewers, I should hate to see him ignite a pocket of gas! Oh, how the bards would laugh at us then...
02/28/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo likes to keep a distance it seems, perhaps keeping his fingers clean though he‘s a willing enough sort - once his ‘expenses‘ are paid!
02/22/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo came close to being the object of crazy Maggie‘s affections. Perhaps it was the plumed hat and the confident air that attracted her. Yet Tyrin‘s suave good looks won out. Mungo‘s discomfort at Tyrin‘s predicament added to the scene. Now that the party got the book back getting paid should be easy.
02/22/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here)yep you guys, Maggie gonna suprise you one of these days, she is! Lucky for you Maggie isn‘t partial to gnomes or is it LOL..one reason nimbs feels free to wander off is cause well there is someone really smart to pay attention to it all.. :) LRP
02/22/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here)Mungo my man unquestionably you make this fun, where would nimbs be without you to tease :) LRP
02/21/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo seems to have a touch of conscience - though I‘m certain he‘d like to be paid!
02/21/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here) Even though Mungo didn‘t get to exercise his magical abilities much this time, he still got ample opportunity for exercising his wit. Despite how the group first appeared when Gregor came in (three short folks and two large folks) the scales are quickly being tipped in the taller people‘s favor. Best they find some more short ones!
02/21/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo literally basked in the attention when he became the topic of a bard‘s song. Mungo the “Dragon Champion so brave“, indeed. Drat that elf, El‘ril who had the audicity to interrupt Mungo‘s song with useless chatter. Mungo shut him up with a quick jab from his mage staff in the elf‘s belly. Mungo is truely magnificently played.
02/15/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo seems to have found his niche. He deftly uses friendly conversation to get information from strangers and to divert attention away from his colleagues. His flamboyant dress helps, too.
02/15/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here)sooooooooooo still learning from the nimbs are ya? ..heard you the one been sneaking up the stairs after I left game..careful of the blasted traps, even nimbs cant see..thanks for your help in helping learn how to get around annakolia and filling me in on small details like npc‘s having distinctive names, the ermm sell value of hobbit weed :) *laughs* ohh jeez LRP
02/13/05
Great work today distracting and trying to pump information from the evil wizard.
02/08/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: Mungo, with his feathered hat and his pompous manner, strikes quite a figure. A stag nibbling at his hat feather and getting trapped in a cave never phased him.
02/08/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here)Ollie thanks so much for bringing mungo on it‘s helped loads, and know I‘ve already said that but, nimbs is just very comfortable around him. Looks like our trying to keep the book away didn‘t work so good. Nimbs figures a lot of folk after it for one reason or another. Sorry about that tell I sent :) .. don‘t know where that one even came from, some deep wounded part of myself you think is way long gone showing me it wasnt‘..think the lack of sleep from gaming on sat‘s a six am ultima game make me a bit jazzed up ..by nine am on sunday (game time for me) thanks friend..LRP
02/01/05
Well done, Mungo is a trip to have along. The traps think so as well. ;)
02/01/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: There was something about the mage tower Mungo was sure to find irresistible; it turned out to be the alchemical tables *sighs* He realy shouldn‘t have been standing so close!
01/25/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here)When I saw Mungo again on Annakolia.. I realized how much I so love this PC.. He might of started out a lark..Ollie..but got a most amazing personality and lot..so much depth to him.. when he showed up again Sunday found myself immediately relaxing at sight of the familar.. friend ..about those lessons.. *grins*.. well ...you just ain‘t Nimbs!...but boy were you sure good with those elfs.. if it sounds like a review of two games.. it is LOL.. cause..of your request not to review Heidi on the other one.. Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here)sooooo good to see Nimbs is not the only one who can seen the party‘s align straight to hell or the party rather, cause of their align rather.. tween me and Mungo we‘ll all be CE in no time at all! Nahh I thought you did a great job of it and it was fitting for Mungo to take over there..gives Nimbs more time to loot.. all seriousness.. I knew Mungo was the perfect choice to talk to the dragon..I‘ll be in touch..thank you so much for the email and messages.. they help more than you know, you‘re really a true friend..LRP
01/10/05
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here) Alas, Mungo just wasn‘t destined for success on the dating scene, despite the interference by Reknown Matchmaker ‘Nimbs‘. I look forward to watching Mungo question the mages of the Hall of Knowledge as we attempt to disern who our enemy in mage‘s clothing is.
11/23/04
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here) Once we managed to pry him away from that gnomish shopkeeper‘s device and onto the boat, things went very well! He kept us interested during the long travel and brought us food (Bonus!) from the ship‘s cook. He‘s getting a little better with those spells, too. For instance, I saw him cast at least three spells and hit something with them: Once, it was Nimbs. Once, it was a dead body. And the third time, I think it was a living enemy (Whoo-hoo!).
11/21/04
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here) Yet another excellent game. Used spells to great effect, and emotes and dialogue really helped pull me in. Always a tought call in this group of great players but BiG for the gnome from me this ‘eve. Bravo ;)
11/16/04
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here)*nimbs walks over to sit on a rock pondering* you know if that mungo survives this whole thing.. we never gonna hear the end of that blasted song *nimbs sneaks off to scout.. see‘s twenty barbarians walks back to mungo* OHH MUNGO.. IT‘S ALL CLEAR.. just you come right on now.. LRP

[Olias Stormcrow's reply to comment: ROFL - yeah. She would do it as well. Just to prove a point and stop him singing that song. With the final battle ahead, it may be the party who are most at risk from Mungo's rather wayward magic.

Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here)gosh Ollie I wouldn‘t miss this game for the world, cause you‘re in it!! I only wish we were playing more often together and am grateful for this one that we do have in a small group setting! Mungo and Nimbs.. are quiet a pair, the one hyper, brash and blowing through life, with Mungo, heeee and his pithy comments on all of it...I just love Mungo, and sooo does Nimbs more than a litte... Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here)An able magician, this one knows how to use his strength to augment the team. I was schooled in small group tactics at the Temple, the better to serve those who can take me into the dark places that I must travel to, but this small group is teaching me nuances that the masters did not. I am honored to adventure with them.
11/01/04
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: His roleplaying with his familiar was very humorous and innovative. I enjoyed that a lot. A fun character. I really didn‘t pay much attention to what he did during combat, so I‘m not sure if he was effective or not. But he was entertaining.

Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here)hrrpmph always the last to die..you just gots lucky Mungo my man.. I can‘t believe you didn‘t have a raise dead scroll...loved that emote of someone else burrowing from nimbs for a change hee.. yeah she always has at least one of those, never leaves town without it .. ollie this game is soo precious to me, in large part cause, it‘s the only one I now play with you! and we‘re in a small group, which really makes it precious.. I‘m so glad you found us!! LRP

Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here) What can I say...he did a valiant job considering what he was up against. For one thing, having a six-foot-four-inched druid slamming you with a staff can be one heck of a distraction when you‘re trying to cast lightning bolt on an umber hulk.
10/05/04
Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here) Yeah, okay, maybe he‘s ‘vertically challenged‘ but he‘s got a personality that more than makes up for it. Look forward to learning more.

Congrats on going out on top this month! There is not a more deserving fellow of that LRP

Mods can be boring and repititous if you‘re not with a good group..and it‘s hard for some players to make the jump of playing mod after mod..with the same pc..well you easily handle the jumps and you bring such richness to our little group.. half of whom have playing together for more than two years now...and I know.. for as long as we play..we‘ve all gotten along so splendidly....and as long as you play, you‘ll be a part of the group with one pc or another :) and they‘ll all be as good as mungo is LRP

I hope you‘re enjoying our group.. been going on since NWC was up and running.. more than two years now.. most of the origonal group..I think cause it‘s just a fun thing, and we all get along so well, and you fit so well with us, I hope you stay! LRP

[Olias Stormcrow's reply to comment: I am thoroughly enjoying this little group and hope to stay as long as you can all put up with Mungo. He can be a bit pompous at times. I did notice the teasing - from the hysterical laughter over Mungo's name to the dwarf getting his name wrong in this session to the DM dropping something nasty onto his head in the sewers. Good job he was wearing his cap. LOL.

Comments in reference to the character Mungo ‘the Magnificent‘ Glowingstone a Gnome: (Add Comments Here) I‘d like to see more of your high level magics aiding the party, which I‘m sure you have, so you could be more of an asset.

[Olias Stormcrow's reply to comment: Well Mungo isn't just a mage so he probably isn't as powerful as you think. It would be nice to throw a few spells about but unfortunately someone keeps standing in the way and he doesn't want to risk hitting that dwarf again with an area effect spell. First time could be seen as a mistake, the second time might be misinterpreted as deliberate.
