Comments in reference to the character “John Doe“ a human: Wow...I guess this whole review thing seems strange after not doing it in so long. What to say? I really enjoy John‘s character, the filler who somehow manages to keep things from flying apart in what might prove to be a highly dangerous, if interesting, implosion. I‘m certainly looking forward to him regaining his memory as things go on, the dreams and reactions he‘s had really have me on the edge.

Comments in reference to the character “John Doe“ a human: After several difficult sessions with TPKs and technical issues plaguing us left, right and centre, I thought you did a grand job of adapting the way you played your character to suit the suggestions made by the rest of us. You were prepared to try various different strategies to be more effective, and they definitely made a difference to how the game progressed! :) So, although usually I give BIGs for RP and character development, this time around you get one for some pretty outstanding co-operation and adaptation on your part, which to my mind are just as important to team success and player enjoyment as a well-played character. Good on ya! :)

Comments in reference to the character “John Doe“ a human: It‘s been a while, my friend. :) So, John‘s first review... what to say, what to say... Well, I think you have a great character concept here, and I am still wondering what on earth John‘s secret is! :) I‘ve not seen any signs in recent weeks of the more worrying alternate personality that I had started to suspect was lurking beneath the surface, but with the nightmares he keeps having, who knows...? In the meantime you do an excellent job of playing the wise and compassionate healer, and of keeping the peace between the two troublecausers in the party. (Well, you *did* say you found the interaction between law and chaos intriguing in your profile! lol) Oh, and nice feet, btw! :D

I thought about what it was that captures the essence of that classic Ultima character so well, and I think I‘ve finally come across something: It‘s more than just how you play him, it‘s your natural wit and charm. I think its so in sync with how Origin‘s writers think, that the role just comes naturally.
...heheh...your spell is the Ace of Diamonds!

Comments in reference to the character Millard Colt a Human: You played a great game last week when I didn‘t review, and put so much effort into that very entertaining RP thread post (posts! lol) that you get my BIG vote this time. Millard‘s had a hard time restraining himself lately, what with all the grief Deztril‘s been causing him - directly, and indirectly through Jarek - so I hope that things become a little easier for you now he‘s gone.

Nothing like bickering in the middle of a dangerous mod where death awaits around every turn...and the whole party splits up hating each other! Comments in reference to the character Millard Colt a Human: Brilliant RP thread posts, and excellent game. I really appreciate the way you kept everything so subtle between Jarek and Millard IC: it gave Keenam a lot of scope for how Tomarian could respond to the change in Jarek‘s character, which made the session all the more interesting. Presenting him with the new items like that was a lovely touch. I was torn when it came to the BIG - you definitely deserved it for your perfect posts in the RP thread, and the way you portrayed Millard throughout the game, but in the end it was decided by nothing more than my personal preference for play style.

Comments in reference to the character Millard Colt a Human: I had given up doing reviews because a regular stream of ‘excellent as usual‘ loses its usefulness after a few weeks, no matter how true it is. BUT, this week is an exception, a fantastic game filled with some of the finest roleplaying from all concerned.
Millard, the voice of reason, but can he be trusted? Both in game and in the RP thread this character has been played consistently and with excellent roleplay. His interactions with the group, both witty and serious, have played an important part in allowing other players to develop their characters.
Whenever I feel like I am getting the hang of roleplay, someone like this raises the bar. This session was one of those times, I now have to try harder.
