Comments in reference to the character Vincent Azure-Draco a Human: (Add Comments Here. Lateness was disappointing, but when Vincent joined he appeared to fit in well and lead his contingent on some exciting adventures. While not directly involved with him this game (hence no scores), from what i gather he made a great contribution and his polarizing man at arms is a delight to dm and play with.
[Tynk's reply to comment: no way I could not help my grandfather out. Sorry but RL always comes before this game. I apoligize for the 30 minutes late but there was no way for me to notify or avoid........a 30 minute visit to the dr ended up being 6 hours.....add in the 1 hour 30 minute drive to the VA hospital and you got an all day thing......just to give you an idea i left at 6 am and got hom about 5 pm(we were early to the appointment by an hour) ]

Well, Tynk has grown up a bit since I was last in this campaign. His character Vinny moved things forward nicely in his dealings with the drow and got us into the city where we met up with Crarg, Sugs and co. Well done, just leave the Neutral Bats alone next time ... if that is what triggered the factions problem we had.

Vincent Azure-Draco a Human: tynk knows how to create annoying characters, and it‘s surely no accident that Vincent often finds himself alone. as a player, tynk is... i‘m not certain. it‘s hard to tell sometimes if Vincent‘s unpleasant tendencies are in character or because of tynk‘s own playing ability, because we spend little time together ooc and so far all of his characters have been that way. he does add a bit of flavor, whatever the case may be, but it could be nice to see him try a character i can like for a change. i‘m not sure if i prefer the campaign with or without him.
[Tynk's reply to comment: I just like to play characters who are antisocial because I can identify with them. Vincent I assure you has alot of my characteristics but I am no where near being as extreme. I am a fan of choose your own adventure books and dont like to think within the confines of a box. I also think that characters are projected personas that are created for enjoyment. To be blunt I am nowhere as harsh as my characters usually created. ]

Vincent always makes it interesting. I love the interaction, and...the near fevered pitch that Vincent usually moves at..it‘s almost too fast, which is hard to do merely by text. I hope I interpret his intentions and personalities well. Even though he runs off all of the time ahead of us...he hardly ever faces consequences...so, usually he bites off what he can chew. I Would like to see Vincent get his wish and get a new crew of men, and run into them later on, or see them in combat and see how he works with true soldiers.

Despite tenendencies to wander solo despite dangers - or because of them to a small extent- Vincent creates excitement. His roleplay contributions in and between games and his interplay with the other party mebers causes a delightful creative tension. When he is patient and methodical he is truly a star. Well done.

Love playing with, or role playing with you. It seams like you‘re one way, then you‘re the next, love the way your character is role played, but you have GOT to stop running off like that.
[Tynk's reply to comment: blah blah blah Vincent is very jumpy he doesnt like the underdark the best way he thinks to survive is to be constantly on the move. He doesnt listen well and is rather rude to people other then barbarians and his troops. He makes friends rarely but when he does make friends there is loyalty there always. oh did i mention he is slightly crazed? one too many bumps on the ol noggin! ]

Comments in reference to the character Vincent Azure-Draco a Human: (Add Comments Here)good game. next time get a compass. lol or listen when someone says they have a map (like percy did)
The only neg I can really gripe about was that you kept taking off in the middle of a conversation and while I was typing, which made me have to run to catch up all the time. This was really frustrating when you‘d go through a trans and I‘d have to guess where you were.
I still had fun bitching about your character‘s direction sense and having to raise you after you sprung the trap on the barrel. You are good inspiration for my RP. ;)

Good job last night in some very difficult situations. Good roleplay with Kerlar on the boards and in game. Great tactics for the most part but must rememeber how dangerous it is in the underdark. Don‘t forget no running and no OOC. Overall, an excellent performance and a strong player.

You are on the right track to becoming perceived as a strong team player and roleplayer. BIG not for being the best roleplayer/ most believable character in the session (yet) but for using earlier critiques to fuel your fire to be better and showing much improvement and making a very solid contribution - without Vincent, the party may not have survived as he was a most valuable party member. Patience in game pays. Happy New Year and glad to see you Wednesday night in good form.

It was good to see you exploring and discovering the many treasures of the module that can be found by searching and experimenting. Now if you can talk more with the other players about what you are finding, where you found it, how it works, and if you are willing to trade with them or other NPCs you will can reach another level of play. You see the other players do not yet realize that the powers to resolve some of the challenges that face them require a combination of knowledge from Pilgrim, Resources from your character and tenacity.

[Tynk's reply to comment: to answer in short yes.
I have to compensate for the inability of all the large races to accomadate for my small stature. I have to uniquely enlarge their intellect so that they can keep up with me without Belittling them or making them feel inferior even if sometimes it appears that most large creatures act smaller then a kobold in intellectual capacity. Tynk still has a wandering problem, but his Role Playing and staying IC is improving

[Tynk's reply to comment: you have to remember tynk is curious to most things that adventurers take for granted like magical gates and mystical rivers........He also had reasons for being last this session. He didnt like the idea of the wizard behind him and he is also weary of keeping the rear guarded as we travel with a traitor/enemy.
as per wandering off.......its done purposely and I never go far. He didnt die this session either! ]

Tynk‘s manic energy spurs the party forward and all about, really, he handles their critical barbs well and is developing his roleplaying using better language with each game. Well, the OOC continued, in fact in an unprecendented instance, he actually typed three different style OOC messages just to communicate that he would be away from his keyboard for a few minutes.
Now, if he only put that much effort into actually staying IC.
Nevertheless, the Gnome did have his best session and he did have some uniquely Gnomish takes on a few things, although, me thinks, he still has a long way to go to fit in with the heavy Role Play / Strategic Play spirit of this campaign.
Having said that, I had some of my best laughs at his antics last night and he gave his life to disarm the trap on the Dragon‘s Horde that we were struggling to get at, but I still have to wonder if yer run ‘o the mill Gnomish Wizard would simply sacrifice himself like that. I would expect more tinkering and less running headlong into dangerous enemies and traps, but there‘s always room for a crazed Gnome in a great campaign, I suppose.
[Tynk's reply to comment: sometimes a gnomes actions are better then any antic he can create using words. I honestly am roleplaying, I have many many many characters of all styles and varities.....including tynk the gnome wizard lvl 40 whom has a set motive of operation I also have tynk gnomegod from everquest(which i recently quit)a lvl 65 enchanter(then the highest lvl of the game)Most of my antics are rehearsed but some of them come naturally IE like that trap ]

I used my most powerful spells and weapons on this dragon AFTER someone started attacking it and ONCE the attack begins I am like an angry bee, I will exhaust my arsenal and regroup. Tynk the Gnome King a gnome: really bringing out the character personality this time. yay. can‘t contribute too much to combat, yet, at level 2, but he tries.

Comments in reference to the character Tynk the Gnome King a gnome: (Add Comments Here)Tynk, Tynk, Tynk. I missed most of the beginning introductions and exact origin of the “tree“ nickname, but I‘m very curious to see where this leads. I‘ve never been around a gnome before.
[Tynk's reply to comment: well in the VERY beginning when I was introduced to the party crarg and merim spotted me and I ran and hid behind the tree
crarg says" hey you behind the tree what are you doing there" Tynk the gnome king says "who? There aint noone here but us trees now shhhew go along and on your way now" as he hugged the tree real tightly and didnt move a muscle......Hey it could have worked! i mean it was an orc for gads sake ]

Comments in reference to the character Tynk the Gnome King a gnome: (Add Comments Here). an odd little hyper gnome, he fit in well to an established campaign. There will be growing pains but he will learn and I‘d be happy to DM him again.
[Tynk's reply to comment: yup not only has it been awhile since i role played but the new tools in which i was using IE neverwinter nights. Very neat interface. I will enjoy learning the ins and outs of it and will grow acustomed to the settings(ie the weird way to travel and actions more then words)
Overall I will come back to this campaign engine as it rocks ]

Tynk the Gnome King a gnome: it has been a while since this guy has played, and it showed. however, by the end of the game, he was fitting in pretty well, and i think he will work out excellently in the long run.
