Comments in reference to the character One Thought a Human: Amazing how One Thought is played ‘ as advertised‘. True, I did think he was single-minded and a bit of a simpleton, and then I came to realize that he wasn‘t, but you need to get to know him to realize that. It feels real, and I‘m impressed by how well you‘re playing it. There‘s always a surprise coming from One Thought‘s side.

Comments in reference to the character One Thought a Human: I felt that in TLR 3: The Children, One Thought has come into his own as a character. He has his own unique outlook on the situations facing the party, most notably on Samuel and the crisis of faith regarding Soladon, which adds depth and complexity to party interactions. At the same time, One Thought has worked well with his comrades, making a mature distinction between his personal beliefs and the party‘s. It is a challenge to play someone like One Thought, who is somewhat single-minded yet comes across increasingly as someone with surprising depth. The character‘s background is integrated well into his actions, helping make the gameworld more real. I look forward to seeing One Thought‘s continued growth as the party moves toward Anvid City. --Carlo

First impressions of One Thought a Human: Probobly this is by intent, but One Mind seems a bit... one dimensional to me. Not alot of non-dialog expression and not terribly affable a character. But again, this is per your description. Just my 2 coppers.

I can feel the self doubt that has surfaced in OneThought‘s mind during this module. All that he has always believed in has been thrown into doubt, and he is struggling to come to terms with this. Very well played.

Comments in reference to the character Maksym Kryvonis a Human: Poor Mak. A fellow that just wants to do the most direct thing and then pop back in to the tavern for a drink (or three). Couldn‘t understand why everyone else couldn‘t see the obvious.

Comments in reference to the character Maksym Kryvonis a Human: Maksym really seemed to face a crisis this session. I think he really only wanted to have a beer and somthing to eat. That said you played Mak‘s dialemma with real skill and your side trip with Nawen (though metadata) was a real scream.

Your character really opened like a flower in this game, and was very believable. I will gladly enjoy sharing a shoulder with you on the front line, when arrows and enemies will rain down upon us. He really seemed like a nice man who feels a bit out of place because of his size and rough tough manners. I can‘t wait to see his reactions when his party of women become endangered. :) Anya

You pulled out a very convincing character, and I like seeing him evolve from session to session. Will he remain the pillar of faith that Antonia welcomes and needs as a friend? I‘m thoroughly enjoying our sessions.

Things I really liked were how the character would accidently (was it?) burn party members, or blind them.

[Maksym's reply to comment: Let's just say that the "accidental" mishaps are both Basilia's incompetence and her creator's. I expected these sort of mishaps and created Basilia's character with that in mind. Hopefully both Bas and me will get a 'lil better with experience ;) (Thank God she doesn't have the fireball spell !) ]

Comments in reference to the character Sam Relik a Human: Sam was a very well-done character and Maksym took the time to work up a very detailed background, which was drawn on for in-game events. The scene with the warden and the father of the girl Sam had killed was outstanding. As the consummate charming psychotic killer, it would have been interesting to see how Sam handled the rest of the planned events, had the party not decided to attack the guards and paid the price for it. --Carlo

Comments in reference to the character One Thought a Human: I first thought One Thought was too serious, too unflexible in his statements and actions. And then the human side started to grow and to show. You can‘t pretend to be made of stone anymore !
Very good, and I think, very difficult to play that way, as One Thought is not the extravagant or exuberant type. But it does sink in now, and even if you joined late, you‘re as much a part of the group as all of us :) I like the way One Thought is getting more at ease with his fellow travellers.

Comments in reference to the character One Thought a Human: One Thought is becoming more integrated within the party now and works well with them. In-game his background of being naive and lacking finesse comes through, without being overdone. Hopefully he‘ll learn something from the consequences of charging ahead into combat, though. ;) Has begun developing individual relationships with party members as well, including via out-of-game forums.
