Comments in reference to the character Barak Thune a Human: Sorry your character couldn‘t be brought back, but that‘s what happens when you fight for one side, and then try to talk to the other. Barak was played logically and consistently...it made perfect sense to fight for your homeland, even while trying to stop the war altogether. Looking forward to your new character! --Rofelli--

[jeffn516's reply to comment: Thanks. As you'll see next episode, Barak realized that he would be likely to die in defense of his country. Dying facing an enemy to stop war is who he was.

Comments in reference to the character Barak Thune a Human: Seizing the moment... Barak seems to have stepped into the fore-front during this game. Interesting. Excellent game.

Barak Thune: Having Luke around in this game really brought out some of the personality of this character. Barak had taken on the role of leader several times during the game. Looking forward to seeing more.

Comments in reference to the character Barak Thune a Human: Well played! It‘s an interesting acclimation that you are handling very well. Good game.

Comments in reference to the character Barak Thune a Human: Well, it certainly is great to have this game back! The merging of new players and characters is also a great new twist. There isn‘t much more one could ask for . . . great game and story well run by some excellent DMs with some incredible players that not only play their PCs to perfection but make a fun 3 hours even more fun than one would expect. It‘s great to be in a game with you again Jeff (actually playing too instead of you DMing)! I can‘t wait to get to know Barak better as I certainly see a deep character here.

Comments in reference to the character Barak Thune a Human: Amazing...a conversation with an npc that didn‘t end in death, injury, revealing our mission, bad feelings, or even a misunderstanding! Definitely a nice addition to our band, and a pleasure to be playing with you again. - Eugenides

Comments in reference to the character Barak Thune a Human: Here‘s another fine mess you‘ve gotten us into! J/K, excellent game! Barak‘s etiquette and ability to ask the proper questions is surely what keeps us going. Great game!

Comments in reference to the character Barak Thune a Human: (Add Comments Here) One thing I actually like is our leader isn‘t your typical leader. You know the lawful kind who wants us to do the morale thing all the time. Our leader Barak is actually kinda shady.:P

[jeffn516's reply to comment: I blame the DM. He let me have a character that at one time work for ganste... I mean smart business men. So naturally he picked up a couple of things. Thanks for the kind remarks. Overall did things on both sides of the fence in these modules... but most importantly I had a blast with the PC-PC/PC-NPC interactions.

Comments in reference to the character Barak Thune a Human: So your plans all worked out in the end...congrats on pulling it all off. And now, here you are, sitting pretty with the Rulotians in a brand new job; wouldn‘t the family be proud? I must say, you‘ve done a darn good job with a sharp mind and some high quality results...excellent work. --Rofelli--

Comments in reference to the character Barak Thune a Human: (Add Comments Here)I like how everything isn‘t so simple. Especially with your character involved. Can‘t just give the plans because it could hurt your homeland. Complications make an adventure interesting.

Comments in reference to the character Barak Thune a Human: *whistles* Pretty sharp thinking on Barak‘s part, trying to work all the factions against each other in a bid to _____. You know darn well that I‘ve figured out your plan by now, and I applaud such intelligence and foresight with the Best in Game award. Now, the bigger question: can you pull it all off? --Rofelli--

Comments in reference to the character Barak Thune a Human: (Add Comments Here) Nice use of using this characters past to get us inside info at the city. As usual his an excellent leader.

Comments in reference to the character Barak Thune a Human: Having those connections helped a bit, eh? Nice job, arranging things with the Stagers. You‘re also guiding the team with your leadership quite nicely. For example, nobody prompted you to seek out the Stagers. Many players wait for clues, instead of seizing initiative; nice to see a true leader. --Rofelli--

Melor ‘Frogboy‘ Cken: A great role player. When I first started, I didn‘t put too much thought into the character, but as we play more, I see he‘s put a great deal of it into his background.

[jeffn516's reply to comment: Thanks! It sounds like you are one of the 2 "newer" players. Just for some background.. the Frogboy is a character that I played 14 years ago online for a couple of play by mail sessions in a GURPS campaign. This group has really helped him evolve. Check out the character bio for more info.

Comments in reference to the character Melor ‘Frogboy‘ Cken a Human: I think Frogboy‘s one of my all-time favorite characters. His descriptions, his compassion, and his deep-seated understanding always cheers me up. Combined with EXCELLENT scout work tonight, he‘s one of kind in utility, creativity, and believability. --Rofelli--

Comments in reference to the character Melor ‘Frogboy‘ Cken a Human: Asking me to find Amber in case you should fall was very touching, moreso since it‘s been a while since this group had a really emotional moment. If anything, I have no doubt the Symmet and Melor will always be there for one another. --Rofelli--
09/14/03
Melor ‘Frogboy‘ Cken: Eventhough Melor isn‘t the brightest character, he managed to give several good ideas, while still being in-character. Always fun to watch how you‘ll role play this character.

Comments in reference to the character Melor ‘Frogboy‘ Cken a Human: Once again, the Frogboy shows that he‘s one of the most clever members on the time by solving the last riddle to get to the Black Spire. Though a bit quieter than usual this night, you still pulled him through like no other character. There is only one Frogboy, and you play him consistently perfectly. --Rofelli--

[jeffn516's reply to comment: Thanks... Like I said in the game.. you guys figured out the hard parts. The Frogboy just fell back on the things that he knows... who he is... and who must be stopped to protect the good.

Comments in reference to the character Melor 'Frogboy' Cken a Human: How can somebody not have a softspot for Melor? Much less my character? Those two take care of each other more than any other pair I've seen. Good thinking on the force walls...you got us past the first one, and that the best accomplishment we've had so far. I sat here in shock and despair when you hit the trap, as I knew, for unalterable fact, that I was out of ways to revive you. --Rofelli--

[jeffn516's reply to comment: Thanks again. Symmet reminds the Frogboy very much of his lost princess physically. Amber however is much more brash and extroverted with a certain confidence to her that Symmet doesn't have. The Frogboy sees the potential for a higher level of confidence there and is just relaying things he knows and lessons taught by Amber.

With regards to puzzles I'm always at odds with my intelligence and the Frogboy's when solving puzzles. On the physical side I can justify it but with other puzzles

Comments in reference to the character Melor 'Frogboy' Cken a Human: The amazing Frogboy, faster than a plodding earth elemental! Heh, same ol Melor we've come to love. - Eugenides

Comments in reference to the character Melor 'Frogboy' Cken a Human: There is no character quite like the Frogboy, from his ways of speaking, to the hints of shyness that have been slowly shed over the course of several sessions. As usual, excellent scouting and superb, top-notch roleplaying. Always a pleasure to have you around. --Rofelli--

[jeffn516's reply to comment: Thanks for the kind comments despite my clumsiness this session. The Frogboy gets a little confused sometimes when it comes to being careful and wanting to stop the impending evil.

Comments in reference to the character Melor 'Frogboy' Cken a Human: Melor is great as always, but seemed a bit more confused than usual this time. Running full speed into the earth elemental just about had me in stitches - usually a very stealthy scout. Only criticism: give the others time to get ready before moving on... a couple times you were leading new monsters back to them while they were still discussing the encounter they had just had.

[jeffn516's reply to comment: Yep... I'll try to do a better job at checking. I'm pretty sure I asked each time before I went off, but I'm not sure if I just missed it or if everyone wasn't on Party Chat. That Earth Elemental thing was weird.. I thought that we had gone down that path earlier or I would have been a bit more careful. Thanks :)

Character Played: Melor 'Frogboy' Cken (Human): ------------------------- Thanks for talking with Symmet as she had her nervous breakdown...it meant a lot to her. As usualy, you portray the Frogboy perfectly, never even slipping from character. --Rofelli--

Character Played: Melor 'Frogboy' Cken (Human): ------------------------- Great player and character as always. No matter what is happening, or how serious things are, Frogboy knows (or doesn't know?) what to say to make me laugh

Character Played: Melor 'Frogboy' Cken (Human): ------------------------- Ah, the wonderful Frogboy...always been one of my favorite characters. There aren't many constructive comments I could give, since you play a very difficult character to perfection. You did make it into my quote book though: "No such things as stupid questions, just stupid people." --Rofelli--

Character Played: Gratt (1/2 Elf): ------------------------- Brought a rather unique character who had an impact on those around him. Very much got into the character. Early exit detracts nothing from this...running from the guards was probably not the best choice, though. *grin* -- Carlo
