Comments in reference to the character Korren Blacheil a Human: This character was hilarious! There were some moments in the module that I was paying more attention to what Korren was going to say or do than I did the plot line. Great roleplaying and a great use of emotes. Would have liked the character‘s input in fighting tactics and maybe have him become more of a leader when preparing for battle. Although the character may have a short attention span and “lower intelligence“, I think when it comes to warfare tactics, he is probably very learned. Nevertheless, I would definitely like to roleplay with this character in future sessions!

Kobach, Kobach, Kobach. It is a pleasure to roleplay with you. I can see the inner turmoil brewing under the surface. It is hard to understand other‘s belief‘s when one believes so strongly in their own. Understanding is a hard thing to come by at times. I look forward to discussing things with you later on... :)

Eldriel is an integral part of Morwenna's character and Elly's introduction to Morwenna's parents played out in-game as perfectly as I'd imagined it; her polite nature and demure elven femininity was a fitting contrast to the over-the-top personalities of the Shrubfire family. The characterizations of Eldriel's many forms always strike me as vivid and imaginative and the earth element was no less impressive. BIG. -Belfus

It's hard for me to imagine playing Morwenna without Elly by her side, as I often rely on your characterization of this elven druid to help me push my own character forward in new directions. Eldriel really does serve a multifunctional role in the party as she centralizes the group with her versatility, even when she is beside herself with the agony she has had to endure. Much like the balance she strives to maintain within nature, so too is she a representation of the balance of the heart: dark and light, happy and sad, violence and peace. Great job, as always. -Belfus

The collars chafes yet it keeps her inner chaos in check. Once her wolf dreams were peaceful fields with rabbits to chase, but now the fields are barren and the bunnies are all dead and decaying.
The blood pulses loudly in her veins and the hunger pulls at her stomach. Once anger at that annoying gnat Cobb would have set her off but she has control, even if it is from an external source.
But the twisting passages of the wizard's tower have opened up into fresh air. She can't see the sun but being away from the stone hallways created by man's hands releases a knot of tension inside that she hadn't been conciously aware of.
It is good to be in the forest once more.

Now that you have your lycanthropy under control, I wonder when/if Eldriel will give in to the Beast and her inner chaotic nature?
|
|
|
 |
| 06/17/03 |
Eldriel possesses more inner strength than she is aware of; even as she struggles with the personal repercussions of the lycanthrope existing just beneath the surface, she harnesses its power and channels it towards furthering the agenda of good. Only one of immeasurable will could stand before the storm as she has and resist its attempts to obliterate her. Certainly Morwenna sees this in her tall, adopted sibling and admires her for it. Their bond now indestructible, the two unusual sisters draw strength from one another and Eldriel sets a positive example for how one deals with adversity, something Morwenna will almost definitely take to heart. Something I wanted to mention is your excellent IC posts on the message board pre-game. Each story provides a very insightful glimpse into the heart and mind of Eldriel, weaving a complex tapestry of the conflict within and the outright struggle to maintain her individuality as well as finding balance with the beast inside. Your writing is incredibly detailed and descriptively rich as you define Eldriel's personality. Your roleplaying in-game is just as excellent. -Belfus

The curse of Anadra weighs heavily upon the already beleaguered Eldriel and she now must content with the nature of the lycanthropy that inflicts her. Though it brings her a strength previously unknown and harnesses it to direct against her foes, so too is she painfully aware of the taint of the beast in all it's ruthlessness and brutality. Mired in shame, Eldriel must somehow cope with the corrupted wolf within and contain its hunger while focusing its ferocity to serve her. Really excellently played; the transformation and weight of the condition was superb! -Belfus

Eldriel serves as a dutiful conduit for the immense power of nature she serves. Kato is not afraid to play a character with a weakness, when he feals his character is being pushed to the edge he follows what she naturally would do. It takes guts to put it out on the line like that, especially because of the disadvantages of the wolf form. BPIG for sticking to RP.

Wolf-Lady, what can I say. Eldriel is becoming fairly morose as of late, though who could blame her. She does after all have alot on her plate. Eldriel's despair is a geat shadow that stretches across her heart and shrouds her in a dreary gloom. More and more, Eldriel's humanity slips away and is consumed by the wolf within. Powerless to inhibit the transformation, she seems mesmerized by the animal experience as though it offers her some great spiritual insight that her humanity cannot. Her deepening anguish over the destruction of her wild kin threatens to alienate her from her friends but the strong sisterly bond that has developed between her and Morwenna will hopefully keep her fragile peace of mind intact. -Belfus

Eldriel continues to shine and interact well with the group. Nice bit of debate within the group over whether or not to escort Timmy back to the surface. Although I would have figured that the only female in our group would have a soft spot for cute little Timmy.. :) Great job!

I was pleasantly surprised by our new addition to the group. Eldriel gets my vote for BPIG because she integrated into a new group flawlessly and gave me a sense right away about what kind of character she was. She asserted herself early in the group displaying confidence as well as a unique perspective. I'm glad that Eldriel is a part of our band of heroes, and despite our philosophical differences I think she and Barius will get along just fine. Great job!

Excellent roleplayer. He played his Drow to perfection yet kept it within the bounds of what will make the game work. I learned a lot by simply playing with him.

-------------------------Great roleplayer. Great team player. Eldriel was an alternate and jumped into the campaign without a wrinkle. This character was a great additon and we were happy to hevr her. We hope she'll stay with us.
