Reviews To Date for Pearce
03/29/08
Comments in reference to the character Sam MacHeath a Human: Sam is quiet and reserved compared to his companions, but he seems to be getting more comfortable with them. Overall he is an interesting and well played character, I look forward to seeing how he further develops in later sessions. -Purple

Comments in reference to the character Shia Talloak a Human: Nicely played as a bard, including effectively supporting the cleric in a game where additional healing was needed. The personality of the PC came over well, no small achievement in a one shot game, as a person really inexperienced in the adventuring life and one who probably needs to harden up or rethink the life too. :D Good game.

Comments in reference to the character Pansy Drough a Human: I really liked this character her wide-eyed innocence and standards helped to offset many of us. Wish you were able to continue playing.
12/31/07
Pansy Drough a Human: Nicely played as the eager, if somewhat straight laced, young woman, aspiring to a career in journalism. The background was RPed well, as was her disapproval of the remarks and behaviour of others. Stuck to her guns over her ideas, even if the group decided to go with another direction of enquiry.
12/30/07
I enjoyed Pansy‘s presence in the first session of the campaign, and it‘s unfortunate that she won‘t be joining us again. I was impressed by Pearce‘s roleplaying, and would happily recommend him to any other DMs or playing groups out there.

Comments in reference to the character Jess a Human: As far as the character goes, she was a fine main cannon for the group. The slightly humorous, slightly vane, very shiny paladin/fallen-paladin/paladin-again really showed this about Pearce: she‘s got style. Albeit, a slightly goofy style that only deranged sorts like myself really tend to appreciate, even though it sometimes strains conventions that long-time FR players feel at home with. She sticks to her guns though, even when things are not going great for her as a character and a player. A few more games, a little more polish, and the sort of style we witnessed with Jess will probably reach a state of subtly humorous perfection. -Froz

Comments in reference to the character Willow a Half-Elf: Willows troublemaking may be irritating in game, but it leads to some awesome RP oppurtunities. Good RP, look forward to more of Willow‘s flirtatious antics.
06/05/07
Damn, I think Willow is a great character - she always cracks me up! A very well played and very well roleplayed woman on a mission - *gulps* she is beginning to remind me of the lead character in the film ‘‘Species‘‘... Great stuff.

Comments in reference to the character Jess a Human: (Add Comments Here) Jess has seen it all - and I applaud Pearce for having the courage to explore different possibilities that take her outside of her comfort zone. A phenomenal rp‘er! - PC

Comments in reference to the character Crixa Madine a Human: Crixa‘s softer, more controlled self is an interesting turn, and it‘s good to see that you‘ve considered how her training as a jedi has changed her. I can‘t help but wander how long this change will last however, as things gradually become more serious, she may be tempted to turn back to her old ways.
05/10/07
I learned that Willows flirtatious nature towards the men of our group is genuine, or is it? She played the men at the front gate, who knows who else she‘s playing? Very well played.
05/09/07
Really well played (yet again) with a great appreciation of her surroundings - last week she found the party water, this week she gets herself an egg breakfast :) More importantly, for me at least, this character is VERY well roleplayed - a crazy little minx, that regularly has me giggling and is always a contender for BIG. This week she just pips it - well played!

Again, very well played and without her the group would have been without both food and water - that ‘camp‘ Willow went to sure taught her some useful stuff! Interesting character & excellent player - still one of my favourites. Well played.
05/01/07
Good thing Willow went to camp, or we‘d of all died of thirst. Willow, fiesty and usually cheerful, is a fun character to RP with.
04/19/07
Hey Willow, there is only one spot for disruptive influence within our party and it is taken!! Just kidding - fantastic RP as usual – the more I play with Willow the more I love the crazy little minx :) She had me giggling to myself again this week - great stuff! BIG!
04/18/07
Willow has made a turn, casting poor Sern aside while making room for our new party member. This has caused a LOT of friction between her and Sern.
04/09/07
Comments in reference to the character Jess a Human: That mace suits Jess. Shiny, and dense. But she sort of falls into a good-natured-dense rather than a Lawful-Stupid, or she would have been turned to stone alongside Debar. A very fun paladin to be around, and to torment.

Comments in reference to the character Willow a Half-Elf: Willow changed from the more joyfull person to a character with troubles, fun, frustrations and feelings of romance. In other words: please go on this way! It realy makes Willow coming alive in a more immersive way. Excellent!
03/27/07
What can I say - I love Willow, shes cheeky, unpredictable and quick witted. She always provides a comedy element to the RP and this week it was through her own internal feelings towards our parties elligible bachelors. The player behind Willow is a great roleplayer who clearly has a good sense of humour herself. Well played.

03/20/07
Willow showed an interesting new side today. I had no idea she was such a romantic.
03/20/07
Willow is a great character - strong willed yet flighty and more than a little unpredictable - her chaotic side is so perfectly roleplayed I just don‘t know what to expect from week to week. What makes her so believable is that there is always logic behind her moods (hers is not the ‘‘easy to RP‘‘ pure, mindless chaos) yet when she decides on a course of action it is set in stone - or at least for a while! Poor Hariki‘s greatest defender yet historically his second worst tormenter. :D

Comments in reference to the character Jess a Human: Fear of chunks! Funny, because she‘s so serious.

Comments in reference to the character Crixa Madine a Human: I gave Crixa the BIG this game. Liked the roleplay with Alahna. It sort of took me by surprise at first. I kind of forgot about her suspicion of my character vis-a-vis Jangaar.
03/17/07
Comments in reference to the character Crixa Madine a Human: I enjoyed how she argues with Alahna. It was very entertaining ;)

Comments in reference to the character Crixa Madine a Human: Crixa is in conflict between her desire for vengeance against the Hutt that murdered her father, and her concern about turning to the darkside. This is a recent struggle for her and perhaps in some ways she is getting ahead of herself, since she hasn‘t even become a padawan or recieved any real Force training yet. Her reaction to finding out that the Ma‘ar were after her and the sudden choice to attack was also a quick decision. I get the sense that Crixa doesn‘t like to muck around and acts mostly on impulse instead of thinking things through. It makes her both exciting and dangerous to be around, especially when she is usually the one leading the group.
03/01/07
Comments in reference to the character Syn St. Clair a Human: Provided valuable healing to the newcomers. Will she sell herself to Abdul to save Dhenor?
02/27/07
Willow was a little quieter, and a little less ‘‘chirpy‘‘ than her usual self this week - probably due to growing tensions and personality clashes within the group (which the player is RP fantastically). This subtle shift of mood apparent within Willow is very skillfully portrayed - great RP and playing! (as usual).
02/22/07
Comments in reference to the character Willow a Half-Elf: Willow seemed in an unusually bad mood this session. It seemed mainly due to Farek‘s boastful familiar. But also the severity of the party‘s situation may be laying heavy on her mind. A great character well roleplayed. Good game.
02/16/07
Comments in reference to the character Syn St. Clair a Human: Hmmm remind me to never rest my head in a woman‘s lap when she has a sharp object within reach:)

Comments in reference to the character Crixa Madine a Human: Abrasive? sure.. I like Crixa just the same.
02/14/07
Comments in reference to the character Syn St. Clair a Human: Well done! Faced all of the challenges of the group with creativity and provided some great roleplay!
02/13/07
Comments in reference to the character Willow a Half-Elf: A really good fun character that has me (the player) regularly giggling at the pc. Loved the dreams of hell - so silly, yet funny. BIG again for me =)

Comments in reference to the character Syn St. Clair a Human: Good support for the meat shield with her arrows. Her healing helped keep up several as well. Always enjoy her online quips too.
02/04/07
I really enjoyed Crixa this session; she was able to lead the party with ease, and even had time to make many amusing quips inbetween our conversations. :P
02/01/07
Comments in reference to the character Syn St. Clair a Human: Good support work for the frontliners. Entertaining interaction with the others - as always:)
01/31/07
Comments in reference to the character Willow a Half-Elf: A really well played character that adds a bit of humour and light-heartedness to an otherwise sometimes overly serious group. Loved the mild anti male sexist remarks, had me giggling at the pc (and earned me a few strange looks from the wife!). This weeks BIG for me - well played.
01/30/07
Willow is great, peppy and fun to be around. When the going gets tough, the tough gets Willow‘s cheerful danger loving attitude. Well RP‘d
01/24/07
Comments in reference to the character Willow a Half-Elf: Definitely the most amusing character of the group, though by the looks of it we‘ll need something to cheer us up! Fantastic rp and did the best job of mingling with everyone, great game :)
01/24/07
Nice character played with flair. Willow seems to be open minded to everyone with a more practical view to the situation she finds herself in. Well done!
01/24/07
I liked Willow a lot, and I even got to RP with her quite a bit. Willow is a wise-ass comedian, and she‘s a joy to have her along when adventuring. Very fun.
01/23/07
Comments in reference to the character Willow a Half-Elf: Willow was very well played and roleplayed. Although we didn‘t get as much game time as we would normally (this was the first day of a campaign and so had rules to run through etc) it is already obvious that Willow is going to be a very useful person to know! Well played.
01/20/07
From what little time I had to interact with Crixa, I found her to be an experienced, headstrong woman who paves her way through obstacles. It was amusing to see her look upon the other party members as inexperienced; I didn‘t find her the least bit obnoxious, instead I see her as a good pillar within the party, possibly someone who could lead us.
01/20/07
Comments in reference to the character Crixa Madine a Human: Crixa naturally stepped up to the role of leader, and I suspect that if someone else had done the same she wouldn‘t have been too pleased about it. This bossy and rather arrogant young woman, despite her flaws, knows what she‘s doing when she leads and the others respect her for it, even though she frequently complains when they go about something the wrong way. This is a thoroughly enjoyable character and even though she outwardly appears to be a spoilt brat, I suspect there is a lot more to her than she seems at first. She‘s both strong and determined and I look forward to seeing how she manages her role as leader in future situations, especially once it becomes dangerous. -Purple
01/20/07
Comments in reference to the character Crixa Madine a Human: Took leadership naturally. My character will probably ask “Who made you our leader?“ but we need one.

Comments in reference to the character Syn St. Clair a Human: Good interplay with Bob. Will any humanoid ever domestic Syn? Stay tuned!;)

Comments in reference to the character Syn St. Clair a Human: I feel as though Syn‘s role is more and more essential to the party as time goes on. Glad she didn‘t leave.:)
01/15/07
Comments in reference to the character Kell Dungallon a Human: I‘ve enjoyed playing with Kell! Of all of the party, she seemed to have the most happy-certain ending. I loved to watch her grow from the somewhat silent and fractured girl, and into someone who could be fiesty and trash talk with the best of ‘em. For one of your first NWC campaigns (I believe), you played very well, even by veteran standards you did wonderful. Good luck, and see ya at the new campaign.
01/12/07
Comments in reference to the character Zena Wode a Human: A slightly frightening, sword happy yet well intentioned (at least I think) barbarian. Another great session with Zena - I am really enjoying RPing with this very well played character.
01/12/07
Comments in reference to the character Syn St. Clair a Human: Glad to know she isn‘t leaving us after all. :) Though now that I know that she isn‘t, now‘s the best time to mention that “it‘s all greek to me“ is most likely not an appropriate FR expression. *wink*

[Pearce's reply to comment: I said it was "geek" to me... a made up sound... like a lizard goes "geek, geek" I just KNEW someone would think it was "greek" but I actually typed "geek"

Comments in reference to the character Mia Falconcrest a Half-Elf: A Great Player and an essential part of our ongoing campaign most definitely!

Comments in reference to the character Syn St. Clair a Human: (Add Comments Here). Like the one of the sidekickss in the NWN single player campaign, like a female protagonist fropm a Realms novel, shes brash, funny, girly and mercurial, her interplay with Stallos both annoying and appropriate ;).
12/30/06
Comments in reference to the character Zena Wode a Human: With her bubbling over-enthusiasm, Zena definitely added comedy value to the group. I‘m unsure slightly of how seriously to take her sometimes - I‘m sure we‘ll become accustomed to her more as we spend more time with her. Overall, well played. Looking forward to next time.
12/30/06
Comments in reference to the character Zena Wode a Human: Zena seemed to be someone who takes little care in formalities and etiquette. With her flamboyant remarks she unknowingly irritates some persons around her :) We will see how this will work out.....

Comments in reference to the character Willow a Half-Elf: Simply a very well-played character over all. BiG from me.

12/16/06
Comments in reference to the character Kell Dungallon a Human: Kell has been combatting her lycanthropy over the passed few sessions. And, throughout the entire ordeal, she displayed the weakness you would expect, and the expected fear of worrying her foster niece.
12/16/06
Comments in reference to the character Willow a Half-Elf: Fun game with a good group
12/16/06
Comments in reference to the character Willow a Half-Elf: Willow started out quietly and a little timidly. When the party reached the dungeon she was thrust, rather reluctantly, into the limelight as the ‘engineer‘, removing traps and picking locks. Here she really shone. Excellent play from an excellent player.
12/15/06
Comments in reference to the character Willow a Half-Elf: As a character I feel Willow went through biggest journey of all the group. To begin with she was quiet and timid, keeping behind her larger team members. Then as she grew in experience and confidence she really began to stand out. In her own element, the trap laden dungeons, she skillfull removed traps and unlocked doors. Keeping a chaotic party safe and out of danger. For this excellent play and the way your roleplayed the characters progression I feel you deserve the Best in game.
12/15/06
Comments in reference to the character Willow a Half-Elf: Willow was an excellently roleplayed character, who really brought the concepts of a new adventurer and someone who isn‘t entirely fearless to the table from the off. She proved to be useful beyond belief throughout the game, whether taking down enemies with her bow or busting traps in the dark dungeons. Overall, a great player who I would play with again any time.

Comments in reference to the character Syn St. Clair a Human: Was interesting/fun to see her interact with the other characters. Also funny to see her very obvious feminine side when deciding the decor of the stronghold without consulting any of the ‘men‘.:p
11/26/06
Comments in reference to the character Kell Dungallon a Human: Fallen victim to a werewolf attack and now that she‘s been bitten, she is perhaps in her most vulnerable state, even more so during the incident with the mad nobleman. Very well played, you dealt with the scenario with great talent.

Comments in reference to the character Kell Dungallon a Human: Kell‘s stealth skills come in handy just about every session, and she and Carabell managed to sneak past the guards and get into the graveyard. It was interesting to see how the two women got past the guards with stealth, while the men had to intimidate their way through and catch up.
11/04/06
Comments in reference to the character Mia Falconcrest a Half-Elf: It was nice that we got to see a bit of Mia‘s family and learn more about her background this session. Now all we have to do is save the world...

Comments in reference to the character Kell Dungallon a Human: This was Kell‘s episode and time in the spotlight, and she does it SO well! While Kell took care of April, she did so only because she had to. When she delivered April to her father, and realized the girl was in danger, she expressed her true feeling. Kell desperately tried to save April, but to no avail. Kell‘s feelings of remorse were genuine, and I have to say you roleplayed it wonderfully :) In the cabin, Kell was able to pull herself together long enough to fend off the incoming zombies. Her clever use of traps, set preemptively, gave the party a clear advantage.
10/19/06
Comments in reference to the character Syn St. Clair a Human: (Add Comments Here). A lot seems to be whirling around Syn and she did a good job reacting with it...will be interestimng to see how she evolves with the story, who she trusts and mistrusts within and outside the party....a bountiful burden upon her, why her, and simply why?

Comments in reference to the character Syn St. Clair a Human: Never a dull moment with Syn. I don‘t think anyone ever responded to Shane quite as well as you did. :) And I loved your reactions to Arduin and the King. I about laughed myself out of my chair as you very casually (but believably) dropped on bomb after another on him.

Comments in reference to the character Syn St. Clair a Human: Syn was a delightful character, creatively and intelligently played. I‘m going to miss her. My thanks to the player for adding so much to the RP and fun.

Comments in reference to the character Syn St. Clair a Human: I love this character! You can tell that the player is really into the head of Syn, talking and acting as she would. “Do what your character would do“ is the best practical advice I‘ve ever heard on role-playing. Syn‘s player is superb at doing it. Wonderfully done!

Comments in reference to the character Syn St. Clair a Human: Syn had an excellent session in the conversation with Arduin. I think she is the only player I‘ve ever had get so mad at him to jump up and pace. It was a nice touch. She was so convincing as a “believer in Samuel“, that I was shocked when the player told me that in real life she wasn‘t sure. But then she did a great job at adding in little moments that could be read as doubt or maybe not. It was all very realistic.

Comments in reference to the character Perris Fairoak a Half-elf: I like the scouting ahead but it is not realistic in my opinion to use the party talk feature to communicate back an area is clear - you should return to the group and give the all clear - I can believe an exception if just going to next area in an outdoor environment - but when porting to another area or going into or out of a building I suggest returning to group to communicate.

Comments in reference to the character Perris St. Clair a Half-Elf: (Add Comments Here) It‘s my fault, but I was so busy with the quest and trying to entertain 10 players that I was lost in a see of PCs and NPCs. hehe BUT! I do recall this character making some really good combat moves and more. He‘s welcome in any quest I host in the future!

Comments in reference to the character Syn St. Clair a Human: Syn is cheeky, perhaps even rude, impatient and impetuous. She is overawed by no one. She had little interest in what the high priest had to say and could barely restrain herself from giving him a few good knocks. This character was extremely well played. I love Syn, BIG time :)

Comments in reference to the character Kell a Human: Great job with the animals, you handled it well and the way you reacted to the desecrated druid grove was especially well done. BIG! --Purple

Kell provided a good voice within the party. She also managed to help a few critters this session, showing her compassionate side. It will be interesting to see how the party will react to this in the future.

Comments in reference to the character Willow Meadowbrook a Elf: Very good, I loved your RP in this session, but now I think you may got a little bit more lawful good than I expected. This can reflect a char choice, but rangers tend to be more neutral. Excelent play anyway.

Comments in reference to the character Kell a Human: Kell is the quiet one in the group, she doesn‘t speak as often or as loudly as the others, but when she does speak she usually has something good to say. She makes up for her lack of words (in comparison to the others that is)through her emotes, and you do these very well and with a great range, the number of emotions expressed through her smiles, nods or tone of voice does a lot to show her feelings and personality. And in this way it is very easy to visualise her actions and expressions. Overall a very well played character with a lot of personality. -Purple

Comments in reference to the character Mia Falconcrest a Half-Elf: (Add Comments Here)Great job in rp‘ing Mia! While she was perhaps a bit cranky at times, it was surely to be expected when you take a wood elf and stick her miles below the earth, with a bunch of Drow undead! Great job and hope to see you in-game again! - PC

Comments in reference to the character Mia Falconcrest a Half-Elf: This character gets my BIG vote for leadership, contribution to the group, and some truly first-rate roleplaying. All that effort, together, pushed her just a bit ahead of the others, although it was still a very tough decision. Nicely done. :)

Comments in reference to the character Syn St. Clair a Human: A great character, the tough biker chick with a heart. Some interesting roleplay between her and lance had me wondering how they met each other, and I loved how she used humour to cope with the situation. So Syn gets my B.I.G
