Comments in reference to the character Mr. Obbera a Elf: I‘d like to add more info about the elf, but as he spoke elven throughout 90% of the session, my character really didn‘t get any kind of frame of reference off of him. Not that the elf performed badly ~ his stand-offish behavior and almost exclusive chat with the other elf in the party basically set him as the stereotypical elf mage -- aloof and consumed with his own thoughts and schemes. Good job there, but I‘m hoping to learn more about the elf in the next sessions.

What can I say? He‘s a ranger to the core. He spent more than a half hour hanging out alone in the woods alone. What the heck were you doing out there? Counting deer? Once he finally returned to town to join the party he was once again the highest level fighter class in the group and was forced into the role of front line fighter which he handled with aplomb. He kept the party moving by blazing the trail. This is an effective but dangerous way to lead. I think at times he ventured out too far in front of the party.
[Raganui's reply to comment: Actually... yes. I counted deer. There were 7. ]

A good performance, but if I could offer Peran one piece of advice it would be this...
The mark of a great leader is the ability to convince people that what they are doing was their idea in the first place.
[Raganui's reply to comment: Unfortunately, unlike Celen, Peran is not the leader type. He would fit better as an adviser or something, if anyone listened. What's worse is when he tries to learn something... then the others appear and mess things up. ]

[Raganui's reply to comment: Yea... think of his position. He's been told to do all this stuff that is too much for a druid of his talent... and then he's stuck in some fairy mound thing... and he has to deal with a group of people who don't quite seem to care if he lives or dies. He wants to go home badly and doesn't trust that mage. I feel that once he returns, he'll have some choice words for the Arch Druid. ]

Comments in reference to the character Celen Crane a Elf: Celen, being one of the high levels in the group as well as its defacto leader -- found himself holding the front lines this last session although it is clear he‘d prefer to launch arrows from “behind“ the lines. His tactic worked as everyone survived to fight another day. Hopefully some fresh meat shields will gain enough hit points to help in the front and Celen can rain arrows on our enemies from a safer position! Well played as always.

I think it‘s interesting the way Celen has to prove himself every time new players join the game.
He and Cormac are a deadly combination, although Cormac‘s willful brutality and Celen‘s thoughtful caution are difficult to reconcile.
I found it interesting also that even as elements of the party spurned his leadership, they still followed dutifully behind him. Celene is a talented scout and only a fool chooses an unknown path if he has a choice.
[Raganui's reply to comment: Yea, when Cormac and Celen agree on something, it gets done. Celen also knows his abilities and thus why he relies on the others. Though the way things are going, he's going to be one pissed off elf. ]

Muah ha ha ha! That bow of yours didn‘t do you a whole lot of good this time, did it!
Well played. He deserves major kudos for patiently exposing the entire plot for the new players, many of whom who were at best only passing familiar with it. This was hard enough, but to do the whole thing in character was also quite impressive.
Well played.

Comments in reference to the character Celen Crane a Elf: Well played as is the norm for Celen. The defacto leader of the group really shined today as he related the tale of his discoveries in the sewers to the authorities. He has captivated the enthusiasm of the masses and now leads a small “army“ of adventurers in an effort to bring to closer the mission to which he accepted so long ago. Well Done!

This was our 6th or 7th game, and in all that time we‘ve never really gotten to see Celene use his bow. Until tonight. That little elf doesn‘t miss much, does he? He‘d take out one or two targets before they had even closed to melee range.
[Raganui's reply to comment: I think I took Weapon Focus Longbow, which really helps, as well as high dex. But yea, he's rarely had a chance to use his bow, since we've seen little fighting, but as I remember, each time he has, he's used it very effectively. I'm definitely going to be looking into getting a magic bow as soon as possible. ]

Another excellent performance. Celene has only one serious flaw, he‘s such a consistently strong addition to the game I‘ve begun to take him for granted.
[Raganui's reply to comment: I laughed when I read this. I'm trying to get other people to act and take conversations and be involved and it's working now, some. I think Celene just tends to think humans can be very... dim-witted at times you could say. And he's not talking about Brandwyn. Anyways, I hope Celene stays as a good member to the group but not carrying the group along. He can't do it all. ]
