Comments in reference to the character Celen Crane a Elf: You have to move fast to keep up with this elf! A quick thinker and faster to act, he doesn‘t mess around when he has somewhere to go! Well played as usual.

What can I say? He‘s a ranger to the core. He spent more than a half hour hanging out alone in the woods alone. What the heck were you doing out there? Counting deer? Once he finally returned to town to join the party he was once again the highest level fighter class in the group and was forced into the role of front line fighter which he handled with aplomb. He kept the party moving by blazing the trail. This is an effective but dangerous way to lead. I think at times he ventured out too far in front of the party.

[Raganui's reply to comment: Actually... yes. I counted deer. There were 7.

Comments in reference to the character Celen Crane a Elf: Celen, being one of the high levels in the group as well as its defacto leader -- found himself holding the front lines this last session although it is clear he‘d prefer to launch arrows from “behind“ the lines. His tactic worked as everyone survived to fight another day. Hopefully some fresh meat shields will gain enough hit points to help in the front and Celen can rain arrows on our enemies from a safer position! Well played as always.

I think it‘s interesting the way Celen has to prove himself every time new players join the game. He and Cormac are a deadly combination, although Cormac‘s willful brutality and Celen‘s thoughtful caution are difficult to reconcile. I found it interesting also that even as elements of the party spurned his leadership, they still followed dutifully behind him. Celene is a talented scout and only a fool chooses an unknown path if he has a choice.

[Raganui's reply to comment: Yea, when Cormac and Celen agree on something, it gets done. Celen also knows his abilities and thus why he relies on the others. Though the way things are going, he's going to be one pissed off elf.

Comments in reference to the character Celen Crane a Elf: well done a fun charecter to play with.

Muah ha ha ha! That bow of yours didn‘t do you a whole lot of good this time, did it! Well played. He deserves major kudos for patiently exposing the entire plot for the new players, many of whom who were at best only passing familiar with it. This was hard enough, but to do the whole thing in character was also quite impressive. Well played.

[Raganui's reply to comment: I hope I may never have to actually be a witness on trial... this is a game and I was nervous as hell.

Comments in reference to the character Celen Crane a Elf: Well played as is the norm for Celen. The defacto leader of the group really shined today as he related the tale of his discoveries in the sewers to the authorities. He has captivated the enthusiasm of the masses and now leads a small “army“ of adventurers in an effort to bring to closer the mission to which he accepted so long ago. Well Done!

[Raganui's reply to comment: I still don't really understand how I came to be leader, but by all that is holy and doesn't stink of dwarf, I will see this through.

No offense Ra'ul.

Very nice. Covered the parties butts quite expertly in the retreat. Good RP, and as usually excellent bowmanship.

[Raganui's reply to comment: Hey, his first favored enemy was Orc, he's definitely going to be very useful against them. That and the ability to point blank crit to the face is awesome.

Comments in reference to the character Celen Crane a Elf: Excellent role-playing as always with Celen. His interactions with the (mostly human) party are so believable -- one NEVER forgets that Celen is an elf!

[Raganui's reply to comment: Nor should they.

Great game. Celene showed incredible generosity at the end of the session, a character trait we had not seen before.

[Raganui's reply to comment: Er... *innocent whistling*

Comments in reference to the character Celen Crane a Elf: A well-played elven Ranger. Always in character and wanting to “press on“ to solve the mysteries. Loved his “hesitancy“ to interact with the humans!

[Raganui's reply to comment: Except for Brandwyn. Despite Brandwyn's lack of brains, Celen likes him. Still, I think he's found a way to actually get some work done here.

Celene surprised me tonight with his suicidal solo trek into the sewers. Won‘t be making that mistake again in the near future I‘ll wager.

[Raganui's reply to comment: I still blame the rat.

Comments in reference to the character Celen Crane a Elf: Found his dead body in the sewers -- is this good role playing or what!? Hope to bring him back somehow.

[Raganui's reply to comment: I blame the rat.

Comments in reference to the character Celen Crane a Elf: I must admit I like this elf. If he wants to be leader that‘s fine with me. Just stay off of my toes and out of my line of fire.

This was our 6th or 7th game, and in all that time we‘ve never really gotten to see Celene use his bow. Until tonight. That little elf doesn‘t miss much, does he? He‘d take out one or two targets before they had even closed to melee range.

[Raganui's reply to comment: I think I took Weapon Focus Longbow, which really helps, as well as high dex. But yea, he's rarely had a chance to use his bow, since we've seen little fighting, but as I remember, each time he has, he's used it very effectively. I'm definitely going to be looking into getting a magic bow as soon as possible.

Comments in reference to the character Celen Crane a Elf: An exceptional role-player as always. Decisive and quick problem solver, Celen is a lot of fun to play with and keeps the story moving.

Comments in reference to the character Celen Crane a Elf: Excellent role playing as always -- didn‘t know that one could “speak“ in elvish, but Celen could! A lot of fun to play with -- kept the plot moving.

Another excellent performance. Celene has only one serious flaw, he‘s such a consistently strong addition to the game I‘ve begun to take him for granted.

[Raganui's reply to comment: I laughed when I read this. I'm trying to get other people to act and take conversations and be involved and it's working now, some. I think Celene just tends to think humans can be very... dim-witted at times you could say. And he's not talking about Brandwyn. Anyways, I hope Celene stays as a good member to the group but not carrying the group along. He can't do it all.

Celen Crane is an Elf through and through. Roll-played very well. A tremendous asset to the party!

Celene really stepped up again and helped keep things moving again this game. I love when he mutters in elfish.

A hard-charger who wants to keep things moving! Loves the “stealth“ bit, always on the alert for something sly. Seems to prefer a smaller group (so that he can be more “sneaky“).

Comments in reference to the character Celen Crane a Elf: Way to go with approaching the problem from another angle. Things will get even more interesting next time, I‘m sure.
06/22/07
Celene really stepped-up this session. When a session only lasts 2 hours someone has to step up once in a while and get things on track. Celene did a good job getting the party moving in a constructive direction. Try not to get yourself killed wandering off alone, bud!

Comments in reference to the character Celen Crane a Elf: A ranger in an urban setting. Nice, not too much Elf vs Dwarf or Human friction so he seems to be one of the good non-haughty type of elves.

This was my first ever session as a DM. Frankly I was struggling with the DM client all night, so I can‘t give any of my players the review they deserve, but it was a good group without exception. He was level headed and practical. I would have preferred to see him step forward more, but the fact is I let too many players on and I think he knew it.

Comments in reference to the character Celen Crane a Elf: (Add Comments Here) Hard to guage everyone‘s alignment and skills from one session. Celen seemed to be an archer type. Learned a few things about Celen and can‘t wait to learn more.

Comments in reference to the character Celen Crane a Elf: Excellent role player and a well played elf. Celen has escellent potential as a leader as he seems to quickly formulate a course of action, with the intention of furthering the plot.

Celene was the stoic ranger that provided good ideas and posed necessary questions. He was well RP‘d and his presence was invaluable to the group.
