Who shall say, maybe in time Angier will discover the answer.

Alright, he still lacks the wackiness of some of the council members, but don‘t worry. In due time he will be discussing the wonders of what happens when you cast improved invisibility on an invisible stalker and so on.

He is carrying the role of the mage well, with his two faithful bodyguards at his side. And of course his somewhat pyromanic familiar Ting flying after him.
