We also saw his kindness as he argued with Zak that the eyeball prisoner should be saved. It‘s now following him around, so it will be interesting to see what happens. Great Game!

His juggling of fireballs while hearing news about Drow plans hinted though at the sterner side behind Dez‘s childlike, curious interior. Once Dez manages to learn more magic in the Drow city, we may have to watch out for this gnome‘s wrath.

Comments in reference to the character Dezran Littlefellow a Gnome: I imagine Dezran‘s curiosity has led him to trouble more than once already, but his interest for all thing magical and mechanical surely is amusing to watch. :) He seems to have much knowledge of all sorts of creatures and devices - Zaka will have to remember to ask him when something‘s not clear. :) Additionaly, he‘s more good-natured than I would have thought. He was the first to check what the pack boars held, and immediately after offered the slaves to take all boars with them. - FP

The “controlled by the book“ theme could easily have become overpowering and tiresome in some player‘s hands, but it was very well handled, and fun and a wonderful touch in this one‘s. Again another first for me. First time I‘ve played with someone who willingly chose a gnome for a character. It was quite amusing to watch the little fellow though. I‘ve seen the same reaction from crows and racoons to sparkly shiny items; “they must have them no matter the cost“. Dez‘s shiny item in this case is magic in all it‘s shapes and forms. The absentminded attitude and focus on a single purpose to the disregard of everything else was quite humerous. I especially enjoyed how he can drone on about the simplest of questions about the arcane, oblivious that no one is listening to him. Excellent game.
