Reviews To Date for Slare
08/12/03
Morlo The Magnificent... A Halfling Bard. I really cannot do begin to do Slare justice here... but I will try. Slare helped us DM a two day Marathon on Saturday and Sunday... ~17 hours... and then proceeded to turn around and join his regular Sunday group as a player and lead the way in one of the most spectacular displays of Party Cohesion and player skill I have seen. In overall RP/Combat skill, this group is one of the most amazing I have seen. On this night... some 18 sessions into the campaign a free form game commenced... and truly the players were the storytellers and the actors. Morlo the bard was the storyteller's storyteller and the actor's actor. On top of his game. 'On fire'.

Character Played: Tick (Goblinoid): Slare is the undisputed master of small, ugly characters. BIG. -------------------------

Character Played: Morlo (Halfling): -------------------------
Morlo had an amazing game. The little guy was on fire! His witty comments had me laughing, the ashes in the dicebag was brilliant, and don't get me started on the wiseguys, the pawnbroker, or the chess game. But the whole vision thing at the end... very eerie, very fun! Great Game! (J)

Character Played: Morlo (Halfling): ------------------------- Morlo is an amazing bard. He does exactly what a bard was meant to do, keep the party's spirits up even at the worst of times, but yet he doesnt do it the tradional (boring) way, he does it with a mixture of sarcasm, cheesy (but hilarious) one-liners and of course his banjo. Which in turn makes this campaign all the more enjoyable.

Character Played: Morlo (Halfling): ------------------------- With all those buffs and bard songs going nonstop...who knew bards could be this useful. Great again this week.

Character Played: Morlo (Halfling): The revolving best in game goes to Morlo this week. -------------------------

Slare, Morlo was a real joy and a hoot this time! Excellent work on buffing and bard songs in combat, and the banter with the little guy was great. I really liked your interviews with the undead, especially the lich, where you and Lora did everything you could to get us out of this situation. Great fun, Great game! (J)

Good to have the funny little guy back with us. The dice say.... he's one great character! Great Game (J)
04/16/03
Character Played: Morlo (Halfling): ------------------------- The party buffs definitely helped out alot this time. Groovy as always.
03/27/03
Character Played: Morlo (Halfling): ------------------------- A strange one indeed... we have ter to hear that famed Banjo.. now maybe we never will.
03/26/03
Character Played: Morlo (Halfling): ------------------------- Spiffy tunes, green man!

Character Played: Morlo (Halfling): -------------------------
Morlo is a wonderful character. Certainly a different (and enjoyable) take on a Bard. Your defense of us in Court was eloquent (and really funny). Looking forward to the next game! (J)

Character Played: Morlo (Halfling): ------------------------- Very well played and interesting bard...but the dice....are...WRONG. Bwaha.

Quite the lush, Serenity is a mainstay of the party...Gotta love her, especially when she's wasted at the dinner table!!Character Played: Serenity Warbringer (Human): -------------------------
03/14/03
Almost as good of a drunken warmonger as Talos. Almost. :) Character Played: Serenity Warbringer (Human): -------------------------
03/07/03
Character Played: Trogg (Half Orc): ------------------------- A lot of fun... Can't wait for the next session!
02/16/03
Character Played: Trogg (Half Orc): ------------------------- Very nice, as usual.
02/15/03
Character Played: Trogg (Half Orc): ------------------------- A pleasure to meet ya Trogg, and I have ta say one of the most fun-to-play-with char's my somewhat limited exposure to the game has seen. In all honesty, I have to say it was toss-up for me to rate who I thought was best in game, but in the end I gave you three thumbs up. If I get invited to the next session, I will certainly look forward to adventuring with ya again... Mortigui
02/15/03
Character Played: Trogg (Half Orc): ------------------------ Demonstrating the Fighting Prowess that makes Monks the bane of all evil doers, Trogg was the Toe to Toe element of this group, carrying the battle to the Foe. Best in Game... Om
02/15/03
Character Played: Trogg (Half Orc): -------------------------BiG, no contest on that one tonight despite the great quality of the group. Big heart, big mouth, big fists, and literally a laugh a minute. Marvellous use of spoken emotes, too. -- Ysh

You're such a pain, sometimes :) No, seriously, thanks for finally playing M1, and keeping the rest of the party alive and well.
01/22/03
Character Played: Emerikol (Human): ------------------------- Always a pleasure to play with you, and it was great to see you play a different type of character then I've seen you do before. Emerikol was an eclectic mix of aristocracy and a strange compassion that pretty much extended only to his traveling companions. This made perfect sense with your characters background, and the God that your character serves under. Fascinating Character, great player all around, you pulled us out of the fire several times. I hope to see this character again!
01/21/03
Character Played: Emerikol (Human): ------------------------- Emerikol : Oh, little Tomi's life only worth 5 gold eh? 5 LOUSY GOLD want me to go look for a boy? Pay my ass more! Emerikol: What.. we risking our necks in there? for 5 lousy gold???? I wanna eat dinner tonight not become dinner tonight!
01/21/03
Character Played: Emerikol (Human): ------------------------- Emerikol was a riot. Nicely played as the skeptical cleric, great RP, funny -- and an ACE in combat with both fighting and heals. It was a great group tonight, but you had the little something extra! BIG (J)
01/19/03
More quiet than usual this time around, but the whole Ville de Vigne section was very nicely done :)
01/19/03
Trogg was so perfectly in character this session. Both during the farming sequence and the intial encounte with dog boy. Poor halfling. :)
01/18/03
Excellent work on your character once again. Always good for a bit of comic relief. I can't wait until we get to find out more about your character's background.
01/14/03
excellent
01/14/03
A real joy to play with you. I hope you stick around. I'm sure we can hammer this into a more cooperative party.
01/13/03
Delfina, the darling and beautiful sorcerous that I never want to cross. Excellent RP; in all situations of the game she was consistantly and almost brilliantly played, especially considering the massive technical difficulties, which completely frustrated me. Definitely BIG. -Fel-
01/13/03
Great game! Very skilled at advising without criticizing in a complex group, setting. Patient and understanding with difficult situations, others. You bring excellent role play, humor, and friendship to the game. Definitely best in game!
01/06/03
Good job Slare. I know I can always count on you. I look forward to playing with you again next week.
01/05/03
The think that impresses me most about Trogg is all the *little* things that make him come to life.
01/04/03
Trogg good character, play with Trogg again soon. I just hope that Trogg can refrain from blowing up the Mekanik cave before we leave. :)
01/04/03
Trogg do good again. His starting of the fire in the mechanix cave was priceless.
01/04/03
Trogg was wonderful...he was warm and noble while being simple-minded and pure. You did a great job of sticking to your guns and fleshing out the character concept. I can't wait to teach you more card games!
01/03/03
Trogg rocked the house yet again, able to spontaneously drum up RP with his antics while others talk to the Expository NPC of the Day. Great stuff!
12/30/02
good game...Tho, We had some bickering about our objectives/progress/pacing last night. Serenity tended to appear bored during DM'ed story-board encounters. This group can dally a bit too long at times but the bickering about getting a quick summary isn't fair to the DM's.
12/22/02
Trog good, Like Trog lots. Really great job roleplaying your character, loved it when you started to play with the rats on board the ship. I really look forward to playing with you again.
12/22/02
Great fun. I know we were more concerned with getting off that beach than developing characters :-). Looking forward to getting to know you all and building the relationships. Looks like we are going to have plenty of adversity- what doesn't kill us makes us stronger? Lucky
12/21/02
Would like to see Delfina learn to use her familiar better. Make use of the commands "Follow, Guard me" and such. Also fully explore the abilities from the radial, it should be good at stealth and sneak attacks, so you might hold it back until the fighters engage, then let it get those flank attacks. A few more buffing spells might help; although her offensive magic use was strong, the group is weak in defense and spells might come in handy here.
12/21/02
Trogg good. Trogg play well. Trogg good fun. :)
12/19/02
Syraxus earned best in game by a good margin. The rest of the players were fantastic... this character just seemed to shine above the rest. Great job figuring out how to destroy Magus... really using your noodle!
12/17/02
Good job. Serenity is an interesting character I enjoy playing with.
12/14/02
Morlo, the bard who can't please his audience, made me laugh.
12/14/02
Your druid was wonderful, I enjoyed interacting with him immensely. Next time keep those horns hidden!
12/13/02
Space cadet halfling bard who just *had* to ramble about everything in the Multiverse... Great fun to play with.
12/12/02
Well buttons and bondors! Great job, a pleasure to have you in game! Very well played character and a lot of fun.
12/09/02
Cute little hussy...first time I met her, I may have offended her, as a Co-DM. The character never flinched and really was the heart and soul of the party...still jealous of that hair tho!
12/09/02
Serenity is a very interesting and fun character to play with. I look forward to further sessions with you.
12/09/02
Outstanding, Serenity is a great Cleric, even if she IS being corrupted by the Dark Side. I fear for your soul MiLady.
12/08/02
Would like to see Emerikol concentrate more on the healing/buffing and less on the melee combat especially during intense encounters.
12/05/02
Excellent Job with the drunken Sailor in the Tavern, hope this was as much fun for you as it was for us. Looking forward to seeing what happens next.
12/01/02
Good job. It was fun playing with you.
11/25/02
A very dynamic cleric with a penchant for calling upon the undead. Well played in a chaotic situation.
11/03/02
Emerikol is a pleasure to have in the group. Its great to have a player who handles the support functions of the cleric with as much finesse as he swings that huge sword.
10/20/02
Em is a pleasure to have as part of any group. Boisterous and friendly, with a quick wit and a devastating sword.
10/11/02
Ahh great! Serenity is one of a kind and a joy to adventure along-side with. She had all the good traits: was funny, was a good leader, and was serious when you needed her to be. Look forward to more games with you.
10/10/02
Another excellent game with Serenity.. Great job with this character!
09/12/02
What can I say about the fair lady rogue that stole my heart away? Nice Moves my dear. Would play with this person anytime.
09/12/02
Top notch role player, i really enjoyed seeing and listening to you play out the character. Keep up the good work.
09/05/02
I don't know why I like Serenity as a character so much, but I do. Probably because she's a pain in the ass. ;) We'll continue the 'budding necromancer' angle; it's very interesting.
08/22/02
Careful, Serenity. I can hear the dark side calling to you..... *wink*
08/22/02
Serenity is a great member of this team. Her player is a great RPer to have along. Thoroughly enjoyed DMing this player.
08/22/02
She was a phenomenal character. Her roleplaying skills were quite impressive. And I felt her knowledge and grasp of the game mechanics was quite extensive.
08/21/02
always a pleasure.
08/20/02
Oh, Lord, Dram was a funny guy. Well played.
08/18/02
Excellent roleplay; discussed important matters with the party.
08/14/02
Trog Green!
08/14/02
My personal favorite (not-so-dumb) half-orc!
08/12/02
Trogg gud player! Trogg dumb in smart, funny way. Trogg can smash with me anyday.
08/11/02
This players roleplaying abilities are excellent. I can't think of a time when they were OOC in the game, they did a very good job at roleplaying the half-orc Trogg and overall did the best job of any player in the game in my opinion. This is a player I wouldn't mind grouping up with for one of those long haul campaigns, they keep it creative, humorous and add fun for all involved. Great job!
08/11/02
Definitly looking forward to playing with Trogg again in the future.
08/07/02
Be more talkative. But otherwise a good and solid game. - Shinji -
