It seems an angry and upset Urraka had more appeal than a King, or at least that was what I felt in the game. Was interesting to watch the breaking up of the Wizards, and Ghaldar and Tarm who used to be on friendly terms.

Seems Tarm is still has a good reputation, and at least Miriam and Marcus seemed to kind of like his performance. The cost of his escapade will likely be his vow to never again touch a drink. Urraka will see to that he keeps that vow. :) Great play as always.

Poor Tarm you can trust them ale-drinking dwarves to get you in a stupor, but not too look after you while you are drunk. If it‘s any consolation the next time Tarm tries to entertain while drunk Urraka will knock him out to save him the embarrasment. BIG. -Virthe

Tarm “The Great“ Wachunga a Gnome: You narrowly missed my BIG this session. Tarm was great, and I his conversation this session, like when he told Toran he would get no pay, and his misgivings about braving the dangers in the mountains, and on the other side, when telling the inn-keeper that the tigers didn‘t appear hungry to him.

Tarm seems to end up being the centre of the team every so often, and taking up leadership when required. Always played consistently and there‘s nice new twists to his character each session. Perhaps, it was not a smart idea to look at the Laibon‘s bag after having asked for it. Now, Tarm has both a rude and (possibly) long-fingered dwarf to contend with and for the time being no Urraka to check what the dwarf is up to.

I‘m quite amazed that Tarm and Toran managed to kill all the goblins after they downed Ghaldar and Urraka without receiving a scratch. Perhaps Tarm should have helped Urraka to collect some sensible gear for the trip? I suppose that I oughta review thess characters as well at some point, don‘t I? Been a bit lax at that :)
Well, well, what can I say about Tarm... one of the more interesting characters I‘ve DMed for so now, be it PnP-wise or NWN-wise. You‘ve been using some very creative tricks to utilise the NWN magic system, which is more meant for combat, to give various entertainmening shows wherever Tarm goes, with, of course, the ultimate show so far being the recent show you gave at the Katta‘s Tale Inn. You were very helpful with giving me ideas on how to redecorate the inn, and it was a blast just to sit back and enjoy the show. It was one of those moments where even the DM could sit back, and have a player take the center stage.
I rather liked how Tarm started out as someone who‘d rather give a show than to go out adventuring, and before he personally realised it, almost relished going out on a quest after the few successes they‘ve enjoyed so far. Definatley looking forward to see if there‘ll be any other kind of developments with Tarm. And naturally, looking forward to see how his shows will improve as he gets more proficient with magic.

Comments in reference to the character James Regal a Human: Watching you and Gabriel trying to order our scouts around was worth more than a few laughs. Talk about a group of people that never should have met in the first place! ;) Your character took the leadership role well though, even in sharing it with your compatriot, Gabriel. You managed to work plenty of roleplay into the situation as well, which helped me shake some of my rust off. Well done, and I hope to cross paths again!

Comments in reference to the character James Regal a Human: Did a good job of setting the stage for his hired band of mercenaries. Taking on the role of a close NPC friend of his Desperate Measures character was an excellent idea and lent some roleplay depth to the scenario. James was very believable as both a friend bent on vengeance and a paladin bent on justice. From my vantage, it appeared James was a bit frustrated with his companions at points, but that‘s the problem with hiring a bunch of mercenaries. ;) --Carlo

Comments in reference to the character Steven Deschain a Human: It was very amusing to see so many displays of the paladin‘s mislead righteousness in the prison cell. Great interaction with every other character of the party, even if it meant mostly creating a little conflict (which is always a good thing). And in the end, he was quite useful, for having such a resourceful friend with access to the cell key. And while Storm usually only kills when it‘s necessary (in his mind), I gotta tell you that killing the paladin was particularly pleasant. *grin* Looking forward to see you as one of the Hunters. - FP

Comments in reference to the character Steven Deschain a Human: Steven had a difficult role as a paladin on death row and pulled it off very well indeed. The moral conflicts were evident and Steven believably wrestled with how to reconcile his ideals with the terrible situation he was in. Comments in reference to the character Tarm “The Great“ Wachunga a Gnome: Hmmm... An early friendship is fragile. Tarm was not the greatest sinner. Comments in reference to the character Cort a Human: (Add Comments Here): I have to be honest, Webhead‘s depiction of Cort assisted my character Nostrum a lot and I am very thankful for your portayal of this anti-hero. The circumstances are odd considering what is likely a more evil aigned character of Cort thinking on the same level in some ways as my chaotic good old gnomish wizard - and that is that the situation of murder is *serious* and that there is only so far you can before you need to start taking more heavy handed measures to get answers from what were a very nonchalent group of people in the manor (though we were responsible for one death, that was very much self defence). Even if Cort may be seeking more tangible rewards for wrapping all this up :)
His has been simply been a darker way of looking at things but with the same goals and intentions and thus has worked very well with the rest of the group. I am aware how difficult it is to portray a darker evil character well *and* keep them cohesive with the group, but you not only managed to do this well but I think have already provided a really interesting personality that is not ‘shallow‘ either in any respect. Thank you very much! *BIG* And looking very much for more from Cort! Keep the DMs on their toes hehe...

The sweet little circus wizard, isn‘t having the best of lucks. He tries to do his best to make people happy and everything goes wrong. :) Very nice depiction and you get my BIG of this session. You had the best interaction with the module itself and drawed enough attention around you (:P). Will see how it develops ;) - Play Mate

Comments in reference to the character Tarm “The Great“ Wachunga a Gnome: After some thought I decided to give you the BIG in this game. Reason mainly because you wasted most of your spells to entertain the sick child in the temple just after we had rested. Was in character and I found it amusing.

Simply wonderfull to play with. Although I do suspect that he had some special arrangements with a DM, it was all really good.
Would love to play with this player again.
[webhead87's reply to comment: actually, the only thing I had worked out with the DM was my entrance on the ship. All the other happenings (ie. in the tavern) occured right on the spot!

Was a fun character. Played out a slight bit unserious (all in-character of course!) which had me laughing over and over again sometimes.
Responded nicely to the challanges I put up.

Funny talks from this guy, especially the Wachunga shouts. Good aligned gnome spellcaster that likes to listen to Kortas, and a good outside the engine thinking player (the crossing the bridge section was nice with riding your familiar :D). I do the 2 wednessday and thursday reviews in one. I wouldn‘t have anything extra to comment on anyway. First of all good RP as usual, and I must say combat tactics are improving as well. I saw several times people running back to help the fallen, and you flee when you don‘t stand a chance (despite the little chaos :p). You really become a strong fighter, Maturin, not to be overlooked and with a love for his scar. Very interesting. Too bad I can‘t unreveal much of that scar with my NPCs as it would be a bit out of character *grins* Also thanks for your comments as usual - Play Mate

It seemed to me that Mat was a bit quick on the trigger to initiate combat especially with the countess. I think he had a motivation in attacking her but I wish he had roleplayed it more.
[webhead87's reply to comment: I didn't feel that it needed rped more... In the previous session she had reappeared and we destroyed her coffin, thus weakening her. She had just killed him once and mat wasn't about to give her the chance to do it again. But I will keep this in mind in future sessions, thanks :)

Comments in reference to the character Cort a Human: What a difficult personality! But even so, it was great fun to have him around! I liked the idea of greediness beyong belief, yet my only true problem was with her character bipolarity. He was either rude and untrusting, either sweet and polite. If that‘s an intentional thing, then kudos to you, if not, make sure to keep it all a little bit more coherent. However, it was a pleasure to meet ya and will surely be a pleasure to play with you from now on. - Anya
