Reviews To Date for TOJTS

Comments in reference to the character Erm‘na Flameskull an Orc: This crazy character lived up to her billing and contributed in a big way to a very enjoyable game for all! Burn baby, burn! As a group you chose a very Orcish attitude of kill first, talk later which was refreshing to say the least. Good job. Look forward to playing with you again soon. {Dunga}

Comments in reference to the character Erm‘na Flameskull a Orc: (Add Comments Here): Superb roleplaying - a female orc who was not afraid to show that she still was head and shoulders above the males in the group, and made me laugh many a time in the game. Thank you!!

Comments in reference to the character Minih Emleef a Gnome: Fun to have you in the game. I could see you were holding back a bit in order to stay “in character.“ Glad you were there to help things keep moving.

[TOJTS's reply to comment: Always hard to try keep "a cool mind", but this time I managed. :P

Guran Zing (Human):

Guran -- strong man with a stronger heart. His concern for the pixies is genuine, and very evident. He‘s always around to offer an encouraging word, or a courteous gesture. I really loved the confrontation with his special Demonic scene. Guran faced down this dark presence from his life with a steely determination and a strong belief in himself. It was very impressive! Always a great time with you TOJ!

Great Game! (J)

[TOJTS's reply to comment: Gosh! I really miss gaming with the two of you and our DM. :'(

Guran Zing:

Very nice play, dealing with the Strongman‘s Shadow, calling in Chariot when the others got roasted, and (circle!) kicking much frosty behind.

Guran Zing:

Guran‘s fun, and very much... there. In a neat, low-key kind of way. (Interacting with the environment, reacting to people, even when he doesn‘t talk to them.) He seems to be the reluctant go-along guy, which makes sense. (Considering he just got dragged into the job in the wake of his new friends. :)

Always funny watching him (more-or-less) patiently put up with the crazy woman. :)

Oh, and you made a great end to the whole Inn scene:
‘Thank you for your time, and sorry about *points*‘

(All of this said, I still feel a bit guilty for not giving you more opportunities to take center stage - there‘s stuff in the works, though. Should probably talk about it, too.)

[TOJTS's reply to comment: Hopefully we, together, can do something fun ahead.

Comments in reference to the character Guran Zing a Human:

Hurrah! The monk was groovy again this week, with his carefully placed throwaway lines that often poke through his seemingly quiet demeanor to make for a very admirably effect. Great game!

Comments in reference to the character Fredriudo Mintow a Gnome: Quiet... but not wrongly so. Liked a lot of what was shown, and those times Fredi does speak up, you know something worthwhile will be said/is going on.

Guran Zing a Human:
Guran is an interesting character. I love how he's so .... ummm.... honest about himself. *grins* He's paired with the crazy lady and two strange pixies, and he manages to get along very well with them. He's always courteous and a gentleman, even when not treated that way himself. *hugs* I love this guy! Great Game (J)

Guran Zing:

The down-to-earth strongman is the perfect contrast to those other nutjobs - don't worry about him being 'dull'. ;)

Comments in reference to the character Guran Zing a Human:

Woo, Guran sure has it rough lately, but he sticks with it despite this and manages to be both funny and entertaining doing so. Great job as always!
07/18/03
Comments in reference to the character Fredriudo Mintow a Gnome: Liked Fredi this session... quiet, but piped up when needs be... and his acting up come bathing time was fun all round.

[TOJTS's reply to comment: Quiet when others talk is a common thing about my style of play I guess. I derive it from my a bit slow and "bad language skills".

Good stuff... though, where were you concealing those lockpicks, eh?

[TOJTS's reply to comment: LOL, the DMs had them for me ;P

Itora (RIP) / Guran Zing:

... I kind of feel I gave you a hard job, meeting the party for the first time AGAIN... but you pulled it off with Style. :)

Nicely played, finding out who the zombie was, and talking to the ghost later on.

Oh, and the very non-magical solution to the magical problem had me laughing like crazy.

Comments in reference to the character Itora a Human:
Itora's appearance was quite hilarious, really, tho shocking as well. I really liked your new character Zing. He wasn't what I expected, but I really enjoyed the interplay between him and Bubbles, and him and Celina. Rubbing out that evil magic rune was priceless! Lets play these chars together. SOON! Excellent game (J)

Comments in reference to the character Itora a Human:
Woot!. Great fun. The end of Itora was very nicely done, just like a real zombie, and this new guy is just as entertaining. Very well done,I cant wait to see more.

BRRRAAAAAIIINSSS!

Great game.

Character Played: Fredriudo Mintow (Gnome): ------------------------- Fun game, good scouting, nice touch near the end with studying the loom and thinking of ways to improve it.

Character Played: Fredriudo Mintow (Gnome): -------------------------

Bit quiet... hope to see Fredi come to life a bit more later on. The split party situation meant I didn't see that much though.
04/13/03
Character Played: Itora (Human): ------------------------- Finally get to play with you as a player, and of course you're amazingly good. Hopefully we'll get more chances in the future

Character Played: Itora (Human):

The selfless giving up your only way home near the end was beautiful. :) Very nice game.

Character Played: Itora (Human): -------------------------
Itora is a great char, and I loved how you played her. Even when she was quiet, I could hear her pondering the situation! I loved how you offered to shelter Bubbles inside your shield when she was cold and scared. Itora is a great protector as well as a brave warrior. Her selfless giving up of her only way home to Priscilla was so wonderful, as was her trust that Raindrop would be able to make it right. She wasn't about to betray that trust. It was great to finally play with you, and I hope we can continue on with these characters again. Excellent Game! (J)
03/21/03
Character Played: Lord Ruanon (Human): ------------------------- Courteous in dealings with NPCs and kept Kang on a tight leash.
03/20/03
Character Played: Lord Ruanon (Human): ------------------------- It's good to see a Paladin not wholly given to being righteous and i think the "dirty fighter" aspect actually makes for a more credible character - fighting is a dirty business. His revealing slips with pronouns ("I" instead of "We", "MY party" etc) brought his arrogance across in a credible but not antagonistic way which was good. Could probably stand being more assertive as party leader, especially keeping that half-orc in tow!
03/16/03
Character Played: Arin Bonecrusher (Human): -------------------------Good work as usual. BIG. -Theb
03/01/03
Character Played: Sadrim Boogh (Human): -------------------------Outstanding as per usual. -Thebor

By staying dead you really made the end of the session something to remember. Pity you couldn't be there to see it.
01/10/03
Interesting to learn more about Itora. She is taking shape nicely. A powerful front-line for the group. ardiel
01/09/03
THis character is shaping up very well. She both fits into the party and is proving ever more useful to them. Some good RPing in the ruins especially the conversation re Women adventurers you were having with Chandra. Storm
12/19/02
Thanks for making the hard choice to start a new character that the party really needed. It is very good of you to do so! Looking forward to getting to know our new team member!
12/13/02
I know that it is in character for Tav to be quiet and thoughtful, but it does detract from interacting with him, and means he does not contribute as much as he might to party tactics and roleplay. Otherwise, did a good job in supporting the ideas flowing around the group.
12/06/02
Good roleplaying!
11/22/02
Gain in assertiveness (if this word exists in english).
11/22/02
Solid RP. Closet alcoholic and treehugger
11/15/02
Somewhat less silent, it's better for roleplaying possibilities.
11/09/02
allways nice to know that you are behind with your bow. And the actions with the feet in the water, drinking from the river, heating your fingers above the fireplace, I admired them.
11/02/02
Not much problem solving anyway, and playing the silent one makes it hard to solve things.
10/26/02
there weren't much problem to solve anyway :(
10/26/02
I start to like your ranger more everytime we play. great scene in the woods!
10/19/02
not much to say. I enjoyed more your character this time than the previous game.
10/18/02
silent ranger, but he used a lot emotes. was a good time with him.
10/12/02
I cannot say much about his roleplaying skill, as I dont remember him speaking or doing emotes.
10/11/02
Nice player, only problem is that you barely spoke/roleplayed. As a lonely ranger, rejected by societies or with bad past experiences, we can expect no speak, so it's hard to evaluate your skills here. Maybe if you would have used more *emotes* to express your character feelings (*discretly moves apart from the group* *remain strangely silent* *a glow of darkness cover his eyes (is that english anyway? I'm no native speaker), etc.) Else good overall character, nice to wander with.
