Of all the people, Flint I will have to say... was only one arlan truely truely grieved for.. and when I posted the IC post for next day game, it was the one in truth, she wept for, the only one she hated leaving behind, was him.. don‘t know what he did, guilty or innocent, but she liked him and he seemed very a cut above the rest..Flint.. I‘m sorry.. forgive me, so hoping to.. get the rest of you all.. I was..she‘ll never forget him nor feel entirely guilt free from leaving him behind..LRP

Nat-yia: Nat-Yia is featured in this section of the campaign, and holds the spot well. The player is able to pick up subtle clues in NPC mannerism and promote the story from that perspective. The character‘s barbed wit is always well placed and timed; this character need not say much to have tremendous influence and effect. Session quote, “Clearly.“ (Atlictoatl, campaign DM)

The druid speaks of his beleif - indeed he confirms much that we had bheard - but is there some other missiv behind this circle and these lines of power? The druid seems to ‘know‘ little - and a lack of knowlege breeds fear. Why are people seeking it‘s power? Nat-yia (Yuan-Ti):
Nat-yia always provides help to the group in the most ‘Nat‘-like way. I love this gal‘s fiesty self assured manner, the way she conducts herself above the group, her mannerisms. Nat-yia is cold, calculating, shrewd, and a delight in game. The way she intimidated Frank while we sought help from him, by speaking in Yuan-Ti to him was classic Nat-Yia.

Comments in reference to the character Mero Krowen a Human: So, Mero‘s out of his natural element (as we‘ve been most of the time, also to Nikka‘s great dismay), but he seems to be handling it well. I hope we can find a more efficient routine for conversation with NPCs to use in the future, allowing Mero to be done better justice in such situations. Mero remains pretty much a mystery to all but perhaps Nikka (who seems to be the only one he speaks in confidence with), and I would certainly like to see a bit of the fog surrounding him cleared.

I'm so glad to have finally met Nat-Yia. She's every bit the noble foreigner -- dignified, smart, alien, and she's quiet stylish, too. Comments in reference to the character Nat-yia a Yuan-Ti: (Add Comments Here)Wow saw a lot of Nat as she really is. She had as hard a time at Pelor as I did at Hexor and truthfully Arlan both places rude. She really felt badly for Nat cause she knows how important this is for Nat yet there they were calling her god a deamon. Also I think the answers to Aralan were splendidly done and in a way Arlan could understand the answers. *smiles* sayin' that about reading the texts was a deft touch, didn't make Arlan feel bad she just figures with folk like Nat around spares Arlan the struggle of trying to read. good game LRP

I like how Nat-yia confidently answers theology questions and then dismisses the other students' stupidity as their not having read their text books. That's great, and allows a perfect excuse for the other players to continue on pretending to be bone-heads about religion. And it shows a bit of Nat-Yia's more wicked side.
I also like how she doesn't dominate conversations, but is always willing to wait before asking about her patron diety. Her predictable reaction to Pelor's response was well done as well.

Comments in reference to the character Nat-yia a Yuan-Ti: (Add Comments Here)Hey! Whatcha got against me inventing new game while during long boring lectures huh? That was fun, but what impressed me, and why I gave you best in game was how that aspect of personality sits next to this very thoughtful and driven character. Your questions are always great and your drive to find a temple that matches up with your god! Nay Pilgrim was not angry she's much more fascinated rather, and LOL knows nothing of gods and so wants to here of em all, and yours sounds a vibrant sensuous and earthy worship. *giggles* she's found someone to torment endlessly in little ways! Everyone else has commented on the brilliance of the beetle belly; I'll comment on the moment when Nat-Yia's icy reserve broke and she cursed her classmates for interfering with her goal of discovering which temple her god resides in. There are a few players with whom I wish I could hear every whisper; Nat-Yia is most definitely one of these. You were generous in allowing others to take center stage this session, but still found a few spotlights to stand under for a moment or two; what more can be said? Quite well done! -Atlic (DM)

Comments in reference to the character Mero Krowen a Human: Had a fun game, despite our disastrous attempt at rescuing Nikka's brothers. After having personally killed one of the people we were meant to rescue that acid arrow fired squarely into your back really felt like the crown of the disaster. Again, I'm very sorry about that. Overall, the campaign feels very good, but I also agree with Drengist that our characters should have grown a bit closer by now. It seems to me most of the roleplayed interactions either take place between Moristin and Calduil, who regard each other as professional colleagues and support each other as such, and between Nikka and Mero, with their dysfunctional romancing. I'm hoping the weave of interaction will grow a bit more complex in the sessions to come. I'd love for Moristin to get to know both Mero and Nikka a bit better. I'm sure there'll be many chances. I sure hope our future undertakings will progress more smoothly than this last one or the world of elves, men and dwarves will fall for sure. ;)

Nat-yia a Yuan-Ti: Nat-Yia is such a phenomenal character, one who so convincingly portrays another humanoid race with a very divergent social background. It's a role that can be easily overdone, but Nat-Yia is played with just the right amount of sensual malignancy, allowing the other players to respond to her honestly. It's tough to do this without being heavy-handed, and Nat-Yia succeeds at it. The additions to the breadth and depth of the gameworld are very real and very appreicated, and I look forward to developing more of this character's very intricate and rich background in the game. - Atlictoatl (game facilitator/DM)

Ironically, the constant sitting wasn't as boring as Ivy had frst thought, especially as she got to hear about other peoples beliefs.... well, the bits she understood anyway. Why do people insist on using long words when there is a perfectly good, shorter, alternative? Shire, you are a player who I am always pleased to game with, as you are competent and helpful both ingame and out-of-game. Your mastery with vocabulary is also a wonder to behold. Nat-yia seems to soften more with every session. Now she actually asks about the welfare of other party members? ;)

Very consisten, and increasingly nice, character. You have rubbed away some of Nat's worst habits while retaining her personality. Well done.

A lot quieter today, Nat seemed very distant. Still. That snowball woke her up! Sorry about that, I was aiming for Thorn. -Ivy-

Great game! I like the way Galia's relationship with Alf is evolving. Things have changed a great deal after Alf started talking, and it keeps getting more interesting. Alf keeps surprising Galia, who is beginning to think she may have erred in her judgement of Alfwin as an inconsiderate, irresponsible wizard. I wonder when we'll all learn the truth about Alfwin. Not such a quiet type at all it seems. Alfwin was obvoiusly deeply affected by Gemma's loss and is sruggling to come to terms with it. I feel a close bond growing between the developing wizard and the novice cleric, but by passing on one of Gemma's gems he may handed Eodain a dilema. Why comes an Athenian token to an Aphroditan cleric? Very well played.

-------------------------Glad you felt you could step out more verbally this time because tis always wonderful when you indeed can!! Such the intellectual, yet at the same time how deeply he feels. Ohh he misses Gemma so and the rp with the stones was great, his attempts to help Mousey adjust. He may live in his head but he is a very sensative fellow! Love watching you play Shire and love playing with you always! LRP

RP was fabulous this session, comments like *watching Soppi ham it up*. Also tweaking your own spells like the mage armor, and remembering past sessions like Ella's venicen stew. All great. Your curiosity of the creatures was also a plus. - K

I really WANT mousey to trust Alfwin, but a good enough reason has not yet arisen. She is an odd one though, which no-one seems to have realised.

Excellent timing with your bitter retorts. I loved the way she said No when Sylviana asked for her wand back. Oh and because it is your birthday, i will give you BiG. (Not strictly the way it should be done, but I couldn't decide out of a few people so I thought... Birthday Boy) -Ivy-

Not sure if it was OOC or not but the line of, "I think I'll go back to being silent." Was just too funny, it is remarks like that that gets you my 10 in wanting to play again with. - K

STRONG silent type? I guess not! Why so quiet? Something real sad in his past, perhaps, I need to discover. Hope to unravel the thread.

Character Played: Nat-yia (Yuan-Ti):
-------------------------I thought that Nat gave one of the best recountings of the group's experiences thus far to the new comers and was a great help intergating them. Nat holds a special place in Naomi's heart, and also is a focus of concern in lieu of the assassination attempt. The dress looked beautiful on Nat and hope the extra warmth it gives helps in the cold climes. In many senses despite her rough edges Nat is vital to the thinking through of things for the group, her intelligence is obvious! GG LRP
