Comments in reference to the character Maglor a half-elf: Lo‘ fair bard, what is it we have done. What has this mad quest brought us to. And what will it mean for Esirup. Can you tell me how such a group, in a state such as this, can be the bastion of hope for the land as saviors of Esirup, when we can barely find our own way together? Are the fraying bonds enough to see some way to hope? I don‘t know if what‘s left of this mind can help, but my loyalty still lies with Esirup...let that which remains not be squandered.

I just hope people don‘t continue to blame the DM‘s for your insistance of advancing further ahead without thinking. DM K

Comments in reference to the character Maglor a half-elf: Perhaps part of our lack of cohesiveness as a group is a sign that we need a greater sense of leadership and direction... but who can fill that role? I had always thought it to be Maglor, but with things in such a state of dissarray, it appears Maglor sometimes has blinders on and does not see what is needed to gather ourselves... if he could overcome that, find a balance, Esirup would surely prosper.

Comments in reference to the character Maglor a half-elf: Hail Singer, that was quite the performance. I don‘t know if the story of Gwen was prophecy, a tale you‘d been told, or just a fabrication, but it was indeed intriguing. The other Half Human took well to your accompaniment, and I thought the result was a grand gesture of goodwill and tolerance. A fine night was had by all, and your musings, however inspired, were most enjoyable. I do question your taking up with the fallen one, and worry for Esirup, nay the whole of Jacklepine, what might be said when the lights are low with such company.

Comments in reference to the character Maglor a half-elf: I would like to thank you for making this session pleasureable for a few reasons. First it is nice to see somebody react off the terrain that is made. Second, when you spoke to Sara about how you have came to this point, reminising about the days of old, the bad that has happened to ya, and even a bit of the good it shows that you do watch and think about what this DM throws at your character. And finally, you seem to have an act to see others off by themselves and try to get them involved in what is going on. That makes a good leader in and out of game. Excellent game. - K

I do not understand thy motivations, nor the nature of your relationships with this band of Esirup devotees, but for now I cannot question that my place is along side you. I do not know if my presence here is the bidding of fate or in spite of it. I do that know after my vision this morning, and seeing it come to pass, that Mielikki has shown I have reason for being here. I shall find and fullfill that purpose by your sides as your friend. We may have our differences, but it is in the interest of the Golden Forest that Esirup prosper.

Comments in reference to the character Maglor a half-elf:
Aye, the doubt does creep up when one doesn‘t suspect it, Lord Maglor... from many directions.
Doest thou feeleth the winds of change tossing us about in the shadows of doubt and confusion? Is it only my keen senses that are attuned to it? I think not... i see the concern in everyone‘s demeanor.
I have come from afar in search of purpose and revelation, under drive of swaying back these very shadows and doubts, only to have them magnified more than ever before. Am I truly here for the right reasons?
Can you show me then, where purpose and good deeds outshine the shadows and doubt... where selflessness leads to salvation, where righteousness is free of predjudice and foolishness, for I am now in a place where I cannot see these things... my senses and disposition hampered by my own deceipt and self doubt, nay, by feelings at the core of my very being.
Have I come to a place where I should not have come? Have I interfered somewhere that I do not belong? Was it truly my place to come here?
I cannot give these answers, but I ask that you forgive me for these shortcomings.

Aye. M‘Lord, while I am able to use some of my skills to amply scout for you, my true skills are with a good elven longbow. I will used my trained senses to keep the cause safe, and to lead you well, but know that it is not my prime skill to inform others, rather to travel alone... ranging the forest in stealth. I will improve upon this, as my path has brought me to you, and there is need for my scouting ability.
Although seemingly troubled, and in a confusing relationship with Saraphin, it is obvious you are a true leader, and am proud that I have come to the service of you, your party, and the People of Esirup. Let not your troubled mind weigh down your clarity of purpose lest we all slip into the hands of the evil that swells around us. Long live the Lords of Esirup, and may the balance of the land sway back from the darkness sooner than later.

Poor Maglor, in a sea of chaos he still tried to bring the party to reach there goal. Arrogant, Self Centered and.. One would think that possibly he has the ancient soul of a serpent upon him.

I was impressed with the RP that went into Mag and his group... the likes of which I have never been a part of in all my gaming. This is the kind of game I was looking to find.... looking forward to the next session and standing by Maglor and his bunch...

Comments in reference to the character Maglor a half-elf: I feel like an interloper playing with you, not being from your original group. I truly fear to play to my full extent for worry of taking away from your fun. Because you were here first I worry that my disagreing with you so often takes away from your fun. I do worry about that, and only hope that you enjoy playing with this new group of people and that we do not all drive you nuts.
You are truly a chaotic character. You go from brooding to elegant. You are ecentric. I find it interesting how you either can charm someone out of their own shirt or drive them to dislike you strongly. You are definatelly a powerfull character. It is very difficult getting to know you, to feel welcomed and belonging. But that it not bad. I thouroughly enjoy the tension between our characters. I just worry about causing you the player any frustration with the change that has occurred in this game.

Sheol stared back at Rorry like the part of himself he didn't want to look at. You've got Rorry's dragon figurine now. What does it represent? Rorry doesn't even know, but he's starting to suspect.

Deflecting attention when necessary and drawing it when warranted, Sheol is a master crafter of deception and intrigue. An opportunist supreme, he manipulates situations to his advantage with a mind sharp as a blade and the wit of a sly fox. The characteristics of his Drow heritage are majestically played; I can think of no more fitting compliment than Sheol is the epitome of his race. Clever, deceitful and dangerous. BIG. -Belfus

The perception of sanity varies as the seasons do and the madness that wrestles within Maglor's core being can surge forth at any moment, often to the utter dismay and confusion of his companions. Clarity, when it's there, does focus him clearer than any other and in these moments, his resolve is unshakeable. As an analogy, Maglor is probably best described as a coin before it's flipped: the probability that the outcome of such a toss has equal chances to be heads or tails is consistent with the same chance Maglor will remain mentally sound or slip into chaos. As always, excellent. -Belfus

Quiet, guarded, deliberate. Sheol seems more shadow than elf, his distinct mysteriousness like a shroud about him. His personality seems an appropriate accompaniment to the pitch of his half-drow skin and there is a sense of his gaze leaving a lasting residue as he regards others. Charming when he wishes and nearly invisible in a social context when he withdraws, Sheol appears to be both accommodating socialite and brooding sorceror; one to be both respected and feared. -Belfus

Setting aside past differences, Maglor bridged the gap between the two forces of good and expanded on the commonality of their goal. Tanaris and others had done too good a job keeping an eye on him, so he was having a hard time, sorry we were so caught up there. Has Hold, leader of the group goes, so does Remi, in his true neutral way matters not, so worry not, as the group or Hold decides tis fine and the bard has no worries. Take care LRP

Maglor's worst nightmare has come to pass and he is destroyed by it. Staring deep into oblivion, his utter sorrow over the untimely death of his betrothed now barricades his heart from taking any joy or comfort in the birth of his children. Such pains rules him to desperate action, the kind where one's own life seems trivial. Outstanding roleplay throughout; the standoff between the two parties was very intense but Maglor, in all his glory, would not cede his pride as master in his own house. -Belfus

Maglor is driven more than ever to keep Esirup free from darkness, not only out of a sense of grand duty to the world and its people but also now for the tiny life growing inside his betrothed. What goes through Mag's head, as fatherhood approaces, I can't help but wonder eh? Thought you did a great job, thanks for letting me scout for traps, was by and large rolling high teens to more often mid twenties for detect and disarm traps, *shrugs* don't know why those weren't good enough rolls. *nods* but Pol came out feeling she let the group down badly in the one thing that she's supposed to do well. Then this Boatman showed her Vico's marker talking about how Vico was a coward, well aye he's good as dead, Pol was fixing to lower the boom at end of last game, she's nothing if not insanely loyal to her comrades and others like Vico. No one messes with anyone of my companions! *nods* with Vico gone and having the feeling she let you and the others down in that place with saving ye all from the traps, she's gone over the edge. But thank you dear one for letting me at least try to find and disarm the traps. A fire burns within Maglor; he has carried the whisper of knowledge that comes with becoming a Lord of Esirup and he better than all, understands its significance. It is both comforting and unsettling that he clearly grasps the nature of the gift/curse and how one must carry that burden. With Spag now the new inductee, it will be interesting to see how Maglor takes him under wing to impart the benefit of his clairvoyance. -Belfus

------------------------- Again, Maglor was astounding as the insane bard leader of this wonderful troupe. You portray him with a frenzy, with madness, and yet a cutting clarity that really does address the heart of our situation. Even in the worst of situations, he sees a path few others do, a purpose and destination. Some of what others mistake for his madness is just the true seeing of a reality that is too hard to contemplate. I'm so glad Malcolm could finally relate to Maglors version of the world, because in it, lies our fate! And RPing with you about the significance of it all was too much fun *winks* Great Game! And yes Pol was lonely. Pol sees a lot, and knows the necklace while a blesing is a curse to the one who takes it up. And she's so frightened for her comrades. When Mag recounted his dream, and the curse it fore told aye Pol came running back shouting tis not true!! Is fear that makes her does of what is shadowing mag and mal and all "the tainted" as she thinks of them now. Ye cannot feel those things if ye do not care for the people that she sees at doomed. I know when there is a bag left on the ground someone has forgotten something in their inventory and to pick it up. How ironic the one thing mag left on the ground was his sword, and you cannot know with what reluctance Pol gave that back to ye, thinking mayhap if the bard had no melee weapon he could stay that fiery impluse to leap into the fray with a melee weapon? *sighs* but the bard is the bard and if she gave him not his sword, she's sure she'd turn round and given is passionate nature, be using his fists! Character Played: Caranthir Nerella (Elf):
------------------------- Nicely played, Mag. Caranthir is cool and sharp--I'm looking forward to seeing more of him. I like his take on his relationship with the dragon. You've got me wondering about his plan...:) -X

Maglor, Your RP is always tremendous, although it causes problems within your party! You have been great the entire time I have been helping. Well done, again.

-------------------------Mag gets BIG despite being the worst military commander in history :) I particularly enjoyed your interactions with the bard NPC. -X

Maglor's personality shows divergence that is hard to reconcile... generous, kind, protective vs. scheming, paraonoid, sinister. IC: Keep your mind to what lies before you Maglor and let me worry about what sneaks behind you! -Spag

Character Played: Maglor (half-elf):
-------------------------
Maglor's erratic behavior was so well played tonight! His deep seated paranoia coupled with his delusions of grandeur make him a very dangerous character. I really thought the game, at least for Maglor, was going to break up this time, that is how believable the scene was. BIG for you!

Character Played: Maglor (half-elf):
-------------------------It has taken me roughly four days to figure out who to give BIG, but it goes to Maglor for personifying the group. We're sometimes happy, sometimes on-track, and sometimes heroic, but we're often confused, split, and in disagreement with each other. As our leader, Maglor ends up being all of these things :) There is an interesting feedback loop developing between his behavior and the party's. Great job! -X

Character Played: Maglor (half-elf):
-------------------------I really enjoy the light-hearted friendship between our characters, as well as Maglor's ever-gregarious nature. It may get him (and us) into trouble, but it's endearing :) His impromptu songs are second-to-none, and his abilty to lead this wayward party is a constant source of amazement. -Xaster

Exceptional job last night. You are an excellent party leader and a deft role-player. I was very impressed with your role as party leader. One of the best I have seen.

Singing Caster I was really worried about trying to carrying a tune with you. I really appreciated the duo and was glad you did not strike me down for partaking in singing which is your main duty.

Thank you for welcoming me into the group and sorry I keep going LD. Although I'm a paladin I do not want to take over leadership. Not all us Paladins have big heads. Ok we do, :) but leadership is not what I want. Thanks for excepting me.

Sat afternoon Pickup game -- Vind/Maglor was excellent. Great RPing abilities very good advice to our leader and a good grasp of strategy (too bad we didn't follow his advice)...Also a wonderful service by posting this open game kinda last minute on a boring Sat afternoon. A real contribution to the community.
