Just when life seemed simple....a big wrench goes into the works. Do not hesitate to ask a GM for tips or background knowledge to support your role as a sage in the game. In fact since your character has been the the lands of the Fey several times you may want to grab the map from the vault version of the module to help lead the team to Alfheim from the endless wood. Sian should be willing to help you get back to town quickly - as long as she does not hear from someone about your involvement with the death of fate. - Even so you can make the argument that it was not you - and it happened in another plane of the world, long ago..

Comments in reference to the character Arlancara a Human: Always a new twist for Arlan . . . we are getting to know her little by little, but it‘s the bits she communicates to others (like NPCs) that give us some of the more interesting glimpses. Telling Jefferson that he needs to learn what role he plays in this world as a man is maybe not too shocking, though it does throw some interesting light on her other relationships.

Comments in reference to the character Arlancara a Human: I was a little surprised by Arlan‘s near-obsession with soul gathering. It‘s an interesting aspect of her personality though, and there‘s still so much about her for me to learn . . .
I gave you best in game (like you need another one!) because you‘re like the glue that tries to keep us all together; though Tigh runs off like a little bitch, you do your best to keep us working together. Most people remain concerned of their own affairs, you went far above and beyond to push your own goals aside to try to help others . . . even when screaming at him would have been very appropriate.

Arlancara a Human: Glimpses of Arlan only wetted my appetite for more interaction between the two friends. Unfortunately, and for the moment, Arlan‘s fate seems to lie in another direction. I hope you all had fun this evening, I‘m afraid I was just too tired to really get into character, and I hope that didn‘t affect your fun factor. All though I felt my portrayal of an ox was Hall of Fame caliber.

There were two scenes of interest that I noticed and both would have been dull as cold sox without the depth your character brings to the story. The incident where Jada learns about the evil of some local druids was compelling - we had no idea where Arlancara would fall in that situation. Then later during the argument between the Jada and Tureiscal - again would she stand by her friend or offer sage advice. Very interesting situations, compelling play.

This was one of the most fulfilling games I have played in many years because of your attention to the world and your serious consideration for what it would really be like to be your character.
I have to say that it was excrutating to see this youth her trading her dignity away to the Gods of passion (Heart of Danna) and War (Morrigan) to escape death and help her friends.
What made you the best player in the game was the simple fact that you played as your character. You took notes as a scholar might and it paid off. You realized what was going on in the eastern wood “Hey I solved your task for you - but there is a greater challenge above our games to be had here“ and made it quite clear and relevant to the other players (astute and scholarly), you even challenged the archdruid - “Restore the woods then if you are the ArchDruid“.
That last part was said like a young woman might in a tone of - never mind the oil on the floor madame - light the candle its dark in here!
Very nice and true to character.

Your reaction to Cael (Priest of Hextor) was very believable in light of Pilgrim‘s past history, which you introduced very smoothly. You made a few of our characters uncomfortable with how you challenged the priest, which is GREAT! It makes for a far more interesting and fun game!

Arlancara: Micala is such an innocent, though she is quickly learning. It‘s interesting seeing some of the more jaded comments coming from her. I enjoyed watching her comments on the world around her -- the Revenant, her explanation of events, her relationship with Honor, dealing with Veril. Excellent work. However, it seems that there are another 2 DMs who would like to DM R&R, so we may very well have a pool of 5 DMs (though I somehow doubt they would all be on for one session) so that should never happen again.

Arlancara a Human: A phenomenal session for Arlancara, with delight in Olidammara, very serious and excellent questions outside Pelor, a good line of inquiry inside the Temple of Light, and some rapid maturing in the Hextor conflict. Arlan took the campaign in an entirely different direction than I expected early on, and made the entire campaign a much richer thing for it. Kudos. Sorry Alembar kept ignoring Arlan's questions -- he was quite distracted this time around and couldn't always focus on what she was trying to say. Well done, as always. I'm especially happy to see Peace Pilgrim manipulating her celestial wolf so adeptly, making him lick people's hands and stuff. I hope Micala has learned at least something from THEO 098, even if it didn't provide her with a direct answer to her most basic questions about gods, such as who is in charge of them all, and whether you choose your god or vice versa. Yay!
