Nimblefingers Briarfoot :- Nims an officer of the law? Now there‘s a new twist, though as she said that Watch Inspectors badge is going to be really useful in checking out security .... especially the security of other peoples belongings.
Wonderful roleplay as always. Some great comedy moments.Hard to tll what kind of influence ‘THE NIMBS‘ is going to have on her colleagues. The team worked well together, gathered all the clues and seem to have several solid leads. Where to next.....?

Nims: While part of the group was talking with the High Priestess, Nims took the practical members of the group on a shopping excursion. Later, handing out much needed coin and supplies, she joins the group on the ship to Tharbad, ready to once again lead them into adventure. Well played.

However, since then I‘ve come to truly appreciate LRP‘s portrayal of Nimbs, and every session she always brings a smile to my face. Nimbs is brilliantly and consistently played, which is perhaps not the easiest thing to do for a character concept like Nimbs. Was it advisable to comment on Tyrin being stolen from? Is there anything she can‘t do? We‘ll see.

She is remarkable in her role as scout, always bringing the enemy to us that we may be in a position of strength - and they at a disadvantage. Though we were schooled in small group tactics at the Temple (the better to serve those who can take us into the dark places that we must travel to), this unlikely band is teaching me nuances that the masters did not. Forgive me dear brother, for though I remember and honor our vows - I am beginning to see that life is as important as death - and those who walk in the light need us as much as those who wander in the outer darkness. When the time comes I will do what I can, but I will not forsake these I have companied with.

Well, what can we say about Nims this session. She got a new fella following her around, she learned that the locals in the town regard her as a hero and she revealed that she is being sponsored to try out new magical adventuring gear. It must have been all of these things going on that caused her to miss that trap. Is she losing her touch? Even Mungo saw her pickpocket him and his eyesight is so bad sometimes that he can‘t tell friend from foe when he is casting spells. For a halfling she has a mighty loud voice too. Well, no she ain‘t losing it. All that new found celebrity hasn‘t gone to her head. She is still the best little rogue in the business. Nimb is never homesick and always strong. Her teasing Meadow really opened a can of worms. With all those emotions flying around, did I glimpse a chink in Nimb‘s hard exterior? Nimb must care. Why else would she apologize and brave the wilds to find Meadow and bring her back? I love the way Nimb interacts with all the characters. Well done, LRP.

What started out as rough and tumble with Meadow, degenerated into a full scale verbal war, as Nimbles chose exactly the wrong time to say exactly the wrong thing. Did she really know the reaction it would provoke? Or did that sharp tongue of hers just run away with itself?
I think Nimbles was surprised at the level of anger that Meadow unleashed at her. Meadow was beyond all reasoning in the end. To the point of not even hearing Nimbles apologise. It seemed to shock Nimbles to her core. Gone was the mischievous rogue for once. I wonder how many times Nimbles has apologised before? Not too many I‘m sure.
Perhaps there is more to this than Nimbles comments and the fact that Meadow is missing her home. Maybe Meadow is jealous of her seemingly unstoppable ‘sister‘ with her carefree attitude? Nimbles‘ habit of running off and leaving Meadow is certainly a parallel to the behaviour of Meadow‘s own brothers. Does she feel excluded by Nimbles‘ behaviour?
Meadow is certainly sensitive about being excluded and Nimbles is certainly more popular with the rest of the group.
It‘s really difficult to play out these scenes, especially with someone you respect * smiles *. My thanks LRP *bows*

So Nim has disappeared. I do hope she returns to join the group. Waking to find the rest of the group running round like headless chickens thinking that the boat was sinking must and seemed to be running off course must have been very confusing for her. And what was Nim‘s solution - letting the prisoners out. Well, only the ones she thought she could trust. Talk about out of the frying pan into the fire :)
Then the group get split up when the boat runs aground and they still run around like headless chickens and Nim doesn‘t seem to know whether she‘s coming or going. Usually it‘s the other way round as Nim leads the party on a wild goose chase. Make no wonder she disappeared. * laughs *

So Nimbles is finally on her way to seek her destiny, but first stop is a prison. True she is acting as escort to the prisoners but some do wonder if one day someone will be escorting her to the same place.
Still has that mischievous streak and a sharp tongue. Will she fall out with that stroppy little madam Meadow again? Will she notice her admirer who may be driven to write songs and poems about her? She is certainly having a growing effect on her more innocent colleagues.
Another stellar performance from LRP, or did she just Carpe the Diem? * wink *

She leads all who follow to who knows where - I‘m not sure she cares where she is going as long as there‘s adventure along the way.
A great scout and disarmer of traps with a penchant for other peoples pockets.
A mischievious mind and a bad influenece on her more innocent travelling companions from Halfling Heaven.
One day she will land herself in trouble and end up on one of those ships transporting prisoners.
That is, if they can catch her and keep her in one place.
