Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy: Look out, there‘s a fatherly Dwarf that wants to have a chat with a certain Elf. :) It should make for some interesting RP if we survive the devils that have set up camp in the old palace.
I am looking forward to a session where we can RP a bit more but urgent matters continue to press us. Good things come to those who wait...

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy: Win-Win, we got combat AND RP in one night! I was glad to have the log as I missed much of what was said between Card and Elvira. Your RP was fantastic all night. You went from the heat of battle to a heated discussion with a henchperson to an edearing conversation with a young man to a touching closing moment with a special friend, all without missing a step. What a whirlwind of dialogue!
Your attention to detail and the surroundings makes every conversation special, even when we are just standing around and chatting. You bring so much depth to each session. We are very lucky players indeed!

Comments in reference to the character Card: I will never fail to appreciate - or smile - when you play multiple characters. Your dialogue is far and away better than anything we‘ve had scripted thus far! For a short outing it was still wonderful to be in game with you.

Card Razidy a Draconic Elf: Another really fun session with Card. A very interesting character, who seems quite well thought out. I have to wonder though, how long have you been ‘planning‘ this little romance? ;)
[Rofelli's reply to comment: It was Havi's comments at the beginning of Aielund 2 that gave Card the idea. After that, Pym's actions and thoughts took on a new light for him. Though the trip to the bath house was a key event, the RP forum shows the evolution fairly nicely. ]

Comments in reference to the character Card: It figures... Card no sooner gets a love interest when he stumbles across a group of bathing nymphs. If he thought talking to Pym about his feelings was difficult, I cannot imagine that speaking to the nymphs while Pym was in earshot was an easy feat! As always, Card handled the task with finesse and flair!
[Rofelli's reply to comment: RPing Elvira beating the crap out of me helped, too. ;) ]

Comments in reference to the character Card: Words cannot tell you how impressed I was with our last outing. As much as I enjoyed the subject matter :) your ability to take an NPC and bring them into our story floors me. Over and over you demonstrate your mastery of dialogue with multiple characters. You must be one heck of a DM!

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy a Draconic Elf: Whirlwind attack, coming right up! Card has become death incarnate to those who would oppose us. His offensive prowess is second to none. Now, we just need to work on stopping him from getting hit. Great game once again.
[Rofelli's reply to comment: It's amazing how much you can get hit with a 31 AC. DR is definitely the way to go. At least I'm hitting back, though. :) ]

Card Razidy a Draconic Elf: Your roleplaying of this character continues to be second to none Rofelli! A very steady paced character growth, its always a treat. I feel like I ‘know‘ Card so well now, but yet there is so much more to learn.. Interesting relationship growing there too ;) I was gonna tell you and Pym to ‘get a room‘ but too late! you already had LOL!

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy: It‘s like a solution from “Clue“ - Pym and Card in the bedroom with Succubus pajamas. :) It‘s such a great break from the action to RP with Card. Note for the future, it‘s time for Pym to do some listening and Card to talk. He‘s got a lot of “ear credit“ to spend. :P

Card Razidy a Draconic Elf: Sure was great to get back at it once again! A spectacular game for Card. His understanding and concern are becoming legendary, and his skill at making fighting look like a dance is not to be missed either ;)

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy: Another amazing performance from Card; what a welcome return to the game! Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy a Draconic Elf: Excellent game. You are the new “Damage God“ of the party!! Havi is glad we‘re friends (and well.. so am I actually) ;)

Comments in reference to the character Card:
First of all, I am SO gonna kick everyone‘s heinie the first chance I get. You boys are incorrigible!! :P
As for you Rofelli, you still handled all the RP splendidly. Your reactions to Havi‘s “craftsmanship“ diatribes are the highlight of the game! It‘s such a great time, playing with you AND Card (since I/Pym get dialogue from both of you!). The outfits are an extra nice touch, and I really appreciate that you play that off of Pym.

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy a Draconic Elf: I heard you warn the elder. You asked him politely not once, and not twice, but 3 times for the key. It‘s not our fault he‘s a stubborn Druid. He‘d have made a fine dwarf ;). Great game once again.

Comments in reference to the character Card: No songs this time, as we needed leadership and a calm mind. Mind you, I really thought the dragon could be dodged (somehow!) but we managed in fine style.

Card Razidy a Draconic Elf: Card is one of those characters, you always seem to learn something new about, every week. you think you know him, but always there is more! Buttons McSaith a Halfling: Holy Guacamole Rofelli!
where have you been hiding this guy? Incredible character! One of the most believable ‘nutcases‘ I‘ve ever met. Your characters are always very good, Buttons is one of the best my friend. In fact, I‘m still laughing, a day later!

Card Razidy a Draconic Elf: always a lot of focus on the role-playing, Card continues to be a wonderful charcter, and even after so many games, I feel like we‘ve only scratched the surface of ‘getting to know him‘. And I look forward to it! ;)

Card Razidy a Draconic Elf: Ah Card... CJ was SOOO waiting to see the firey breath of a dragon toast some frost giant butt! LOL.. did he forget he possessed such power? Or was CJ just in the wrong place when it happened? Still though, Card continues to be a very deep and interesting character, and I look forward to further adventures with him each and every week!
[Rofelli's reply to comment: Breathed fire twice in the last game. The problem is that the so-called-cone (more like a triangle) is so small, and only lasts for about a second. The graphic is identical to the Burning Hands spell, so watch for that. ]

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy a Draconic Elf: Once again, a well played game. Dispersing the spells you have, to benefit the party, has been a tremendous boon. Havi, although strong, could never be as strong, if it wasn‘t for the bull strength you keep reserved for him. Excellent game, once again.

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy: Dear Goddess, this was an INTENSE game!! If there‘s a way to shot an arrow AND hold bandages, I think Pym figured out how to do it.
But we did it! We did it! We did it! We did it! *jumps up and down like Herman Munster*
As always, Card was the picture of composure. It was really nice to hear him ask about Pym‘s reading and offer a conversation at a later date.

Comments in reference to the character Card: Another great outing. It‘s nice to see us taking the time to think things through. Even if we don‘t necessarily make the right decision, it‘s a good idea to plan and plot rather than charging in. It hurts less, anyhow... :)

| 10/06/04 |
Card Razidy a Draconic Elf: this character was a bit slow in revealing things about himself at the start, but now each game gets better and Card has become quite a fascinating fellow indeed! I was waiting to see him fry a nice big grove of druids... *sigh* alas... maybe some other time ;)

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy: Nice to know that someone else is scared of those glowing puffballs, too! :) It was WELL worth the week of waiting to play with you and I loved the way Card handled his heritage with both Havi and CJ. Card Razidy a Draconic Elf: simply a great game Rofelli. You‘re continued RP of Card‘s changes into ‘Draconic‘ character are excellent. Often subtle, but always there, the little touches make it so easy to visualize what would really be going on.

Card Razidy a Draconic Elf: Even though my hearing of Card‘s story was ‘unofficial‘ - his talk with Pym and explanations of what was going on were outstanding. Lots of other cool little rp stuff as well, but tying in the RDD class with what was presented in the module was perfect.

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy: Card L., right? :) Fantastic outing, just what I needed to get my brain back into our adventure. Card‘s transformation has been well-played, slowly revealing the changes to the rest of the group. Now that Card has the information he needs, via the ancient gold dragon, I will be very curious to see the effects.

Card Razidy a Draconic Elf: ho-hum... just another great week... Card, like always, is such great fun to have along. He‘s really earned his leadership role with this group, every week he just proves it again. Great tactical battles, and great RP as well!

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy: You (and Card!) do so much to keep this game from becoming one-dimensional and I really appreciate it. The “body language“ makes SUCH a difference. Just know that all your attention to detail adds up to be a great deal. :)

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy: The lute was a gorgeous touch, even though none of us *technically* saw you play it. The nuances you bring to the game make all the difference - the expressions, the gestures and even the muttered comments. You and Card are a joy in this campaign.

Comments in reference to the character Dasha Akain a Human: I‘m hoping that playing with an NWC RP veteran like you will enable me to pick up a few tips on how to improve the way I do things. Your style of play thus far is clearly different to mine, so it‘s hard for me to draw any conclusions yet. (On top of which you type too darned fast for me to keep up with!)
Dasha is an intriguing woman. Her insightful and diplomatic nature is likely to be a great asset to this party of loudmouths, showoffs and do-gooders ;).

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy: Simply the best session Pym has had with Card - no contest! I am torn as to what was better, the 1:1 conversation on the ship, the way the group escorted the Princess or the post-escort planning chat? Once we got all the haks straightened out, the night just flew by!

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy a Draconic Elf: While Card is always a good character and fun to have around, this game was really exceptional. Card seemed to really come to life, and have extra enthusiasm for all that we did. Even his conversations with npc‘s seemed more natural, like he really was ‘leading us‘ - rather than being the designated ‘talk to npc‘ guy. A truly great one!

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy a Draconic Elf: fantastic game this week. Card‘s gradual playing of the lute... his interesting conversations and observations, all just great. Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy: Oh, did we NEED this game or what?? It was a fantastic outing, despite the lumps and bumps!
Card was simply fantastic, caring for the fallen Pym, advising the group in combat tactics and being at the ready in every situation. Frankly, I wished I could have simply WATCHED everything take place.

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy: Of course, Card sould get BPIG every week, IMO - Best Portrait In Game. :) Kudos to Mrs. Rofelli!
Despite the bumps, it was good to get off the ship and stretch our legs. Card has something on his mind but is placing the safety and success of the team first. It will be interesting to see how this plays.

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy a Draconic Elf: Every night we play is very good Rofelli, but this one stands out in the ‘excellent‘ category. Every little detail you brought out was fantastic. From the rod, to the wolves, and playing in the tomb - absolutely wonderful!

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy: I learned something new about every character this week and every character was interested in Roleplaying (or eating)! :)
It was GREAT to get a chance to ‘catch up‘ with Card. He strikes me as a young man seeking an honorable path with a minimum of trouble, but seems to find the trouble despite his efforts.
Getting to know one another will go a long way toward working effectively as a team. Well done!

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy: Ugh, I missed the good part - all the RP! Dang phone! Card hard a great outing and lent his sword skills to the task. His charm with the Princess, however, was a scene-stealer! Great job!!

Superb, simply superb. BIG.

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy a “Draconic Elf“: Darn I don‘t like handing out ‘single‘ BiG‘s for this game! I should just keep track of ‘who‘s next‘ - that would be simpler... I was getting a bit worried at first that this was not going to ‘happen‘ for us... but once rolling, it was great. I think Card is going to be a great character to have along on this ‘tour‘.

Comments in reference to the character Card Razidy: Quite a ‘coming out‘! I wasn‘t entirely convinced we were going to get you on board before the game time had passed. In any case, this leaves a lot to discover about this handsome elf.

Comments in reference to the character Seldane Quarter a Human: Ahhh Seldane. Were you either lost in thought, or I thought I lost ya ;).
Strange things happenin in that head of yours. Havi feels as though he‘s the cause of it, but is unsure how to deal with it. I guess Havi can teach you some “dwarven magic“ too. It made the kid smile.. maybe it‘ll help Seldane, too.
Once again, a truly great game. Outstanding!

Comments in reference to the character Seldane Quarter: Two women? JUST two women? Seldane must have been passed out for the rest. :P Just kidding... Comments in reference to the character Oliar Xaxa-Bernham a Human: (Add Comments Here)Human fighters are tough to RP. They are often played as being very stupid and without depth. NOT SO with this character. There are many little details about this charcater that you like to bring out. Great Job!

Comments in reference to the character Oliar Xaxa-Bernham a Human: Fighters have to be one of the toughest classes going to make interesting, as far as I am concerned, but you are making a great time of it Rofelli. Comments in reference to the character Seldane Quarter a Human: Ah yes, another guy that ‘takes advantage of every opportunity‘ - for roleplaying that is! If it is possible to roleplay something out, Rofelli is going to do it, from the most subtle and mundane things like sleeping and eating, to ‘major moral issues‘ we count on you to make it far greater than it would be otherwise. Great game once again.

Comments in reference to the character Seldane Quarter: To paraphrase, “If you hear me scream, come and help...“ As if Seldane would EVER scream! Shout, curse, maybe even yelp - but never scream! Rofelli, if that was a ‘quiet‘ night for you, we are in trouble. You had a fantastic game and managed to coax a few smiles out of Pym, accomplishing a Herculean task! Nice work!

Comments in reference to the character Seldane Quarter: Another night where I need three BPiGs! And where‘s the checkbox for ‘This character is a damn fine cook‘?? Seldane stood his ground while letting the rest of the party make their own paths - simply brilliant. I hope he isn‘t discouraged by the differing opinions within the group. In fact, this small conflict between us sounds like Seldane‘s kind of problem to solve. I have all the confidence that he‘ll help us “Keep Going!“

Comments in reference to the character Seldane Quarter a Human: Good thing Dwarves are immune to simple logic my friend! HAHA! Excellent game as always. Seldane is not only a natural leader, but is excellent at diffusing tense situations. To insult a dwarf, and get him to calm down so quickly is not a trick, it‘s an art form, and Seldane is Picasso!

Comments in reference to the character Seldane Quarter - ACK! Since I am limited to only one BPig, I simply cannot hand out an award. Everyone had a really super game and I cannot single out any performance! Seldane, the dashing young man with young charge in tow, is the reluctant leader of this crew. Sometimes beauty has it‘s price. :) In any case, Seldane keeps one eye out on the local ladies, one eye on Colin-James, and his spirit focused on whatever comes next.

Comments in reference to the character Aydra Featherstone, starring Nairill a Human & Ice Mephit: You killed Nairill! I couln‘t believe it! Man, I just felt so bad... wasn‘t there anything we could do? Alas, now the opportunity is past, and we will just have to live with his memory... A REALLY great campaign/character Rofelli. Comments in reference to the character Aydra Featherstone, starring Nairill a Human & Ice Mephit: Well.. Clint never did find out if Nairill was okay. His assumption is that Nairill is just resting. For the first (and hopefully only time), Clint saw Aydras “black“ side, and although Clint doesn‘t mind aggressiveness, he was a little nervous when standing next to Aydra while she‘s ready to cast a spell. I mean.. it‘s not like she‘s ever hit him with her spell accidentally.. while she wasn‘t mad *chuckle*.
Great game. You pull off playing 2 characters (even if one is a familiar) seemlessly. Outstanding game. I truly enjoy playing with you, Rofelli!

Comments in reference to the character Aydra Featherstone, starring Nairill: I think Nairill was the only one who made it out of the last session unscathed! Of course, he was _extra scathed_ during the previous outing, so maybe we just needed to catch up to him? This fantastic pair did a great job - and deserves a long rest, as the hunt for amber is over!!

The Colonel was hilarious as a chicken in the Frosts‘ party game, and I love how he played the part. Sorry I labeled you as Pecker, but it was just too easy with that pecking the snow for food comment. Comments in reference to the character Aydra Featherstone, starring Nairill a Human & Ice Mephit: As the frustration grows within the Featherstone + Clint foursome, it can be evidenced the most in Aydra. Somehow, the frustration of our hunt, as actually gotten her to speak out more often. Or perhaps she has finally grown accustomed to the Featherstone tag-along, Clint. One thing is for sure, her ability to shoot with pin-point accuracy with her crossbow sure stands out!
Great game!

Comments in reference to the characters Aydra Featherstone and Nairill: -This character made out like a bandit with the magic loot!- Where‘s THAT choice, hmmm? It was a great outing for all of us. Comments in reference to the character Aydra Featherstone, starring Nairill! A great outing. Aydra is FULL of great ideas. Comments in reference to the character Aydra Featherstone, starring Nairill a Human: Aydra has become a bit more expressive when dealing with the group. She is just now starting to talk more openly with their new found friend, Clint, helping make him feel more at ease within the featherstone family.
Nairill has also proven time and time again to be the voice of reason... not only for Aydra, but for anyone who is willing to take advice... from a mephit *wink*.
Too bad there‘s no place to “rate a familiar“ on NWC.
Excellent game!
[Rofelli's reply to comment: Aydra's defensive mechanism around Laura was to keep her mouth shut. Laura hasn't been around, so Aydra's talking more. As for Nairill, yeah, he probably should be a separate character. ]

Comments in reference to the character Aydra Featherstone, starring Nairill a Human: Aydra and Nairill strike again! Comments in reference to the character Aydra Featherstone: Outstanding! Both Aydra and Nairill had a terrific outing! I am blown away every week by how well BOTH parts are played! Excellent, excellent game and the best in the bunch from me!

Comments in reference to the character Aydra Featherstone a Human: Aydra and Nairill have become the wild cards of the featherstone family. While Nairill contains the talkative personality, one would believe that Aydra is constantly thinking. Her actions indicate such as well. Aydra‘s power has grown to the point where her presence can, and undoubtably will, swing the tide of battle.
Excellent Game!

Comments in reference to the character Aydra Featherstone a Human: I don‘t know if was the extra levels, or just ‘feeling better‘ - but what an excellent game! Always a great character to have along, this particular evening was just extra-good.

Comments in reference to the character Aydra Featherstone: Another fantastic outing by both Aydra and Nairill. The socks were a great touch, as Nairill clearly wants to have a part in the ‘acquisition process.‘ Aydra‘s spells made a significant difference in battle. Further, her protective stance in the Fairy Temple showed why Aydra is not to be underestimated.

Comments in reference to the character Aydra Featherstone: For a short outing you still left quite an impression on the group and the adventure. The departure with Nairill was so well orchestrated that it made everyone‘s RPing that much easier. I simply cannot say enough positive things about the way Aydra and Nairill fit within this group.

Comments in reference to the character Symmet Kyran a Elf: What a great character (and player). Sometimes on the edge, you always seem to pull it together when you are most needed. The stuff that heroes are made of.

Comments in reference to the character Aydra Featherstone: It‘s hard to review JUST Aydra when you know Nairill is in the mix as well! I mean, how can I say you were quiet AND serious AND funny without making Aydra sound like Sybill?
In any case, our last outing was another fantastic example of your creative role-playing, accurate character depiction and just a gosh darn good time! I especially liked Nairill‘s comment about being torn between Aydra‘s feelings towards her family and calling it the way he sees it. I had no idea that mephits were so tuned to human conflict! *wink* Best in game; fantastic job!!!

Comments in reference to the character Aydra Featherstone a Human: Aydra... the silent sister... wonderous to most... has finally begun to speak.. when feeling well, that is *wink*. Nairill continues to provide excellent communication with the group, as an outsiders standpoint. Clint has apparently taken a liking to Nairill.... or at least mephits... as he keeps inquiring about their lifestyle as well.
Great RP, Great Game!

Comments in reference to the character Aydra Featherstone a Human: what WOULD we do without you! Often the voice of reason, the depth of this character evolves a bit more each week. The ‘icy‘ touches continue to add much to the atmosphere!

Comments in reference to the character Aydra Featherstone a Human: Aydra has started to come out of her shell when the new stranger, Clint, is around, and has even engaged him in open dialogue, only to discover Clint‘s natural ability to put his foot in his mouth. Along with her trusted companion, Nairill, Aydra see‘s both the good, and bad, in the actions of all the members in her family, and group.
Excellent game.

Comments in reference to the character Aydra Featherstone a Human: Super Game! Aydra and Nairill are quite a team, effectvely handling just about anything that comes their way. The chat Aydra had with Clint really set the story into motion as well.

Comments in reference to the character Roo Ellie a Human: As always Rofelli, great to have you along. Great bit of roleplaying, especailly fun with the ‘vampire bite‘ - something we really could have built on, had this been a longer series! As it was, you added a great deal to everyones experience.

Roo was an excellent PC. He was very bellievable and I was able to more fully immerse myself in the story. He often had good ideas, and seemed very experienced in dungeon crawling. Kudos to Roo!

Hillivere Torngale a Human: Thanks for playing. Hillivere was great all the way through. Solid RP for a reserved character like Hill. The forming an adventuring group at the end was a very nice touch that added a bit of sentiment. ---CH
