Reviews To Date for whistler
10/30/03
Comments in reference to the character Slythoander Twiggretty a elf: tough to review this character... he‘s classic whistler style, very much present in the game through his role-play, quite distinctive. Whistler flirts boldly with the line between humorous and over the top; it‘s a testament to his skill that he rarely crosses over into the latter. Great touches like custom outfits (many of them!) and interactions with his animal companion. RP with other players adds a great deal to the game. We have had some great players in this campaign, but I am giving you BPIG. -LB

Comments in reference to the character Slythoander Twiggretty a elf: An excellent addition to our campaign group. I only wish we were playing longer together.

Comments in reference to the character Slythoander Twiggretty a elf: Excellent roleplay, you always come up with great lines, I was really cracking up when you were commenting on Drake‘s abs.

Comments in reference to the character Dale Stroehn a Human: (Add Comments Here) Excellent work again! Your role playing was excellent. Keep up the good work, let me know if there is ever anything character-wise you are interested in doing as the campaign goes on!

Sometimes I wish I didn‘t know it was Whistler behind the characters he plays...that way I‘d be surprised when my beer sprays from my lips during games from what his PCs say. Consistently creative in his roleplaying, Dale (Whistler) was rightfully the father figure in the party - full of wisdom from years in the service; full of piss and vinegar from life‘s experiences. A rich, dymanic, and multi-dimensional character, and this only in the first night. Bravo. BPIG

Comments in reference to the character Dale Stroehn a Human: A nicely played and well thought out character. Always stayed in character, and was good for lightening an otherwise dreary mood when the game got very serious.
10/12/03
Comments in reference to the character Slythoander Twiggretty a elf: Best in game! Slythoander is one of the most interesting in our circus troupe. I enjoy our conversations and banter immensely. - The mathematician. :)
10/07/03
Comments in reference to the character Slythoander Twiggretty a elf: The comic relief is well done. Everything so far has been over the top- which fits the character perfectly. I want my own squeek doll when this is finished.
10/05/03
Comments in reference to the character Slythoander Twiggretty a elf: What the heck is Twiggy? This is one of the most ephemeral characters I have run across. Wildy original and a great character to interact with. I think that Twiggy is destined for greatness...in his own mind.
09/16/03
Comments in reference to the character Dale Stroehn a Human: Dale was a wonderfully played fighter/rogue with an obvious OCD. I enjoyed his quirks and banter with the other characters very much.
09/16/03
Character development on this one was outstanding, as was the basic concept. Stayed true to his character at all times, and was very interesting to play with.

Comments in reference to the character Dale Stroehn a Human: A very good performance of an intelligent fighter. Particularly enjoyed the endless stock of handkerchiefs and the notebook. - Brenno

Comments in reference to the character Dale Stroehn a Human: First time we meet whistler, and I wasn't disappointed! Great piece of roleplaying. Sorry about the

Comments in reference to the character Dale Stroehn a Human: Who knew there would be two accountants on board in the party? I like your character's easygoing nature and slight mocking of the nature-folk, especially Daedin. What I liked also the most was how much traits you shared with Igneous, but how much you showed you didn't. I guess just a picture of what happens if one accountant chose a different path in life and one stayed stubbornly on. I hope to play with you again someday!
07/28/03
Comments in reference to the character Dale Stroehn a Human: What are the odds of two accountants in one group? Have you EVER seen an adventuring accountant in another game? Some of the great little touches you put in (The infinite number of handkerchiefs, the 'looks left, then right, then left again' bits) left me thinking 'Why didn't I think of that'? Our little discussions on enjoyable accountant literature were really amusing, too.

Comments in reference to the character Dale Stroehn a Human: (Add Comments Here)LOved this character! Thanks for all the helpful hankies you gave to me ever so sick mage.
07/25/03
Comments in reference to the character Dale Stroehn a Human: (Add Comments Here) I really liked Dale's oddities. He seemed to have some oddball twitches about him... being concerned about what water was used in brewing the ale and whatnot. Occasional /shouts about some odd saying.. what was it, oh, :That would be trouble: or something. Anyhow, Dale really stood out to me as a character.

Comments in reference to the character Dale Stroehn a Human: (Add Comments Here) Wow! Nice job providing leadership for the group while RPing a personality you don't see on NWC games too much. Too many neat little twists on Dale to mention in a review, but I was impressed with leadership, RP, and combat skills. BIG! - chiz

Comments in reference to the character Dale Stroehn a Human: Tap three times and get the BPIG. Excellent job. Added a great deal of flavor to the game. Thoroughly enjoyable.
07/13/03
Comments in reference to the character Sly Twigg a elf: Excellent character. Pivotal to the game. Looking forward to seeing him (and you) again
07/12/03
Comments in reference to the character Sly Twigg a elf: (Add Comments Here) A valuable member of the team. Although I found it difficult to join in the roleplaying as I was new to the group twiggy tried to help me fit in and it was much appreciated.
06/12/03
Comments in reference to the character Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) a Human: Mord, the lunk-head fighter/rogue/omnigod was the most powerful character, and the comin relief all rolled into one. His RP was the glue that kept the campaign(s) going so strong. This party went from level 1 to level 19 together. Great job, and I look forward to gaming with Old Man Whistler for many more wonderful campaigns. - Mogney oh yeah BPIG for being the best player in the campaign.
06/12/03
Comments in reference to the character Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) a Human: All around great job as a player. Just plain funny while being in character. Focused on the module and the story and then roleplayed the dumbness consistently throughout the campaign.
05/02/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): -------------------------
04/29/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): -------------------------
04/11/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- As always, Mord is Mord. Great job with the room, though a bit over the top, it is pretty much what we should expect from Mord. And quick thinking to keep running around with the wolves chasing you so the rest of us could re-group.
04/11/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- The basement abode was absolutley insane! Great RP last night. Beware for more of the old "snow down the shirt" routine! It is now apparent that the inspiration for Mord is from a place that is not as deep into your id as once suspected, hehe...
04/10/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- Last nights session was a terrifying glimpse into the mind of Mord Arna, very entertaining.
04/08/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): -------------------------Great job picking up on Magnus's uncomfortablness. - Magnus
04/08/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): ------------------------- Great job as always. I feel justified in all 10s as this group has really gotten into a groove with great roleplaying all around.
04/08/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): -------------------------
04/08/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): ------------------------- What can I say? Great roleplaying, and you didn't say anything about the cat incident, and offered help. You jumped right back in the story (as the others did), and I feel (I might be wrong) that you are enjoying yourself more and more with every session. At first I wasn't sure if you liked our rather complex story and I didn't know if you were really able to cope with my relative lack of experience with the DM client, but with each session you bring more and more. This campaign is getting better and better, and it's more than just a little because of you! :)
03/27/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): -------------------------
03/26/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): -------------------------Aria continues to do a great job leading us, with out offically leading us :) - Magnus
03/26/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): ------------------------- Glad she is our spokeswoman and treasurer. Well played as always.
03/25/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): ------------------------- Another great game. Aria is chock-full of good ideas; excellent scouting, and was really effective in the combats with some spells I hadn't seen from her before. Good work on the puzzles too! - Aaron
03/25/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): ------------------------- I thoroughly enjoy playing with Aria each session. Last night she was excellent again, filling the scout role when our rogue was delayed, then ceding that role when he reappeared. Oddly, it ended up that she scouted outdoors and the rogue indoors, which fit nicely. More nice role-playing around her vigilant search for corruption, and some good help on the combat strategy.
03/25/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): ------------------------- Back to perfect form, Whistler knows how to play his character. ALways ready to give out scripting and rules advice, I think you add lots to this session. Thanks a lot, and well, I think that your roleplaying went up a notch from last session, which was merely great last time. One of your best sessions!
03/21/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- Another great session, albeit brief. Love the direction you're takin Mord with the room in the basement. Classic! Can't wait to see how it turns out... Roglin
03/19/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): ------------------------- Next time I'll be sure to wait for the signal before running through a transition door... owtch. :P Great game as always.
03/19/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): ------------------------- This was a brief, and probably not one of our best sessions, but as always Whistler was always in character and a pleasure to play with. Nice touch with Aria nearly "losing it" when she detected evil on one of the NPCs.
03/19/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): -------------------------
03/19/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): ------------------------- Interesting roleplaying.
03/18/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): ------------------------- Excellent job, especially the looting - oops I guess I should be careful with that word! ;) I didn't understand why Aria was so aggessive towards Telric at first, but then figured she had some insight that he was evil - nice work RPing this. - Aaron
03/14/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- Mord.. what can we say about him. Amazing role-playing skills, comic releif, the big lug of a friend everyone wants who will surprise you every so often by casting color spray ;-). Over the past 5 months I laughed more times at Mord's antics then I have at Friends (or any TV show). And every time it was perfectly in character. Great job! -DN
03/13/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): -------------------------A fantastic player in the Sneaky Feats Campaign. This character was a great cross between party tank and comic relief, great roleplaying on the moron-level intelligence fighter who just wants to help his friends. The player did a great job staying in character, and still keeping the game fun for everyone. I would highly recommend this player to anyone running a game. - DM Mogney
03/13/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- Mord fills so many roles in the group, and fills them all superbly! Great tactics, problem solving, and roleplay, as always. Mord has fulfilled his destiny as hero of our little group...can't wait to start the next campaign! Roglin
03/12/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- Best player in a 16 game campaign. Mord might seem two-dimensional, but whistler plays him so well I just want to sit back and watch. Came through real strong in the final climactic battle - he knows the game and D&D so well that he brings more to the table than just a fighter.
03/12/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): ------------------------- Consistant player who generated wonderful RP dialogue among the party, even though there weren't very many NPC's to interact with this game (it was a cavern full of demonic spiders and a portal to the abyss).
03/06/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): -------------------------
03/05/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): -------------------------
03/05/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): ------------------------- BPIG. Excellent scouting this week Hamish. I think it directly relates to the party's success last session. -T
03/04/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): ------------------------- Great job as usual. We missed Aria's leadership during the time she was dead. One suggestion: if you are going to be the group treasurer/chest opener, occasionally make some mention of what you're finding to rest of group; I think everyone will be more comfortable that way.
03/04/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): -------------------------Well played your shock of being brought back to live.
03/04/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): ------------------------- Great game, again.
03/04/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): ------------------------- A nice night to be back in Seldoreen. Aria was a joy as always, very interesting reaction to her own death. She seemed much less talkative than usual, but I'm giving the benefit of the doubt on that and chalking it up to good RP! (^_-)
02/27/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): ------------------------- Nice job with the animated weapons. -T
02/27/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- Strong RP and great tactical suggestions this session. I wish Feb and I had taken your advice earlier about casting improved invis on ourselves to keep from being a target. It might have saved me a death. Great job.. Rog
02/27/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): ------------------------- gg...great Rp spat wit Delor...Feds
02/26/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): -------------------------
02/26/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): ------------------------- Constant references to Fergus keep me grinning. That and Hamish's voracious appetite...
02/21/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- Gotta love Mord. Good work using hte scrolls! And carrying my stuff. What would we do without you!
02/20/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): ------------------------- Although not a problem solver(ic), this character rocks in every other respect. A looney blend of dwarven masculinity and off-the-wall accusations against his "invisible friend" Tempus grant ye survival, ya mage killer. Feds
02/20/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- What can I say? Mord saved the day!
02/20/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): -------------------------Mord saves the party from a TPK, Mord gets a best in game - Mogney
02/20/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- BPIG. Without Mord, we'd still all be lying there still on the ground...GG
02/20/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- Great job as always. Saved our bacon many times tonight. And to think you were grousing about picking up Cade's stuff...which you should have kept, by the way. Keep it up!
02/19/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- Sweet roleplayer and good character.
02/19/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): ------------------------- Try and stay out of AoE spells then...;) -T
02/19/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): -------------------------Great job with the sleep spell, and you took advantage of the RP situation for you home coming. -Good job Magnus
02/18/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): -------------------------Going to Aria's hometown gave her alot of opportunity for interaction. She handled the role of spokesperson very well. The session was more or less directed at her, and she handled it masterfully, BPIG - Mogney
02/18/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): ------------------------- What a game session. Your character really shined in this one. I know the encounters could stand beefing up, but man you have a strong fighting party! I guarantee the next stuff that we designed wil have you fighting for your very lives! We had discussed its toughness, And I told the other DM that I was sure this party could handle it...and my confidence was sonfirmed with the last game. Also read IC journals....very helpful.
02/17/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): ------------------------- What can I say? Best again.
02/13/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): -------------------------It's sad the Mord is the one who has to figure out that part of the puzzle has to be back in town. Good RP as usual
02/13/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): ------------------------- Hopefully next week will be smoother, once we hash out the buffs. Great character as always. -T
02/13/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): ------------------------- a bit whiny about scouting buffs, but a great scout nonetheless. his RP is top shelf, though his humor tends toward the well-drinks ;-) love him
02/12/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): -------------------------

02/11/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): -------------------------Terrific job last night. Great job with the chess board puzzle/trap - Magnus
02/11/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): ------------------------- Aria has picked up some new skills, surprised us all with her ability to take the scouting role. Always impeccably in-character. Tonight she was a little less aggressive about the whole Corruption thing, but perhaps she was just overwhelmed by all of the undead we faced! Stick with your regular clothes, Aria, you look fine! (^_-)
02/11/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): ------------------------- Used great problem solving on the chess trap. Has very good leadership skills. All in all, a very impressive player.
02/06/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- Mord, the man of mutiple hidden talents! Wouldn't think such a ughh, intellect deficient character could do this but you pull it off very well.
02/06/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- Mord is definitely starting to get more and more complex. He's like an onion: peel away a layer and there's another one underneath. Rogue, fighter, mage...he's becoming quite the everyman! Great job as usual. Roglin
02/06/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- Mord's got to showcase his blossoming Rogue skills by finding the traps in Cade's absence. The teamwork last night was terrific. Great job!
02/05/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): ------------------------- Very into his character.
02/05/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): ------------------------- BPIG for this session. Mad Hamish always brings a quirky, funny, and ever unique element to the game. Good adaptation to a new tactical role (party scout) and good RP interaction with the other players.
02/05/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): ------------------------- Nice job! I think we could have really used Fergus' help last night. ;) -Darius

Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): ------------------------- Best character concept I've played with, though I didn't get it till now. I read the bio. Very nice touches with In-game RP and a solid scout. feds
02/05/03
Character Played: Mad Hamish (Lazybones) (Dwarven Barbarian): ------------------------- We need to work on scouting...more on this later. -TempesT

01/31/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- Fine job once again
01/31/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- GOOD GAME! I dont think Mord needs to be dual wielding. hehe Thanks for the sword. Now Kale has 2 weapons to dual wield with finally.
01/30/03
Character Played: Mord Arna (Stinky Feet Tavern) (Human): ------------------------- Gotta Love Mord! Still wondering who taught him to sneak attack tho... *lol*

Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): -------------------------
01/28/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): ------------------------ Nice job both in RP and in keeping our group from getting killed!
01/28/03
Character Played: Aria (Seldoreen) (Elf): ------------------------- Always impeccably in character, Aria is quite vigilant about examining the world around her for signs of the "Corruption" as she puts it. It's very consistently played, and her faith has become one of the central themes of a very religiously-oriented RP group. It's resulted in some very interesting in-game conversations! My BPIG for the game tonight!
01/22/03
Character Played: Aria (LTC) (elf): ------------------------- As usual, a tough and skilled opponent in this fun contest. Fate intervened in our favor this time to prevent the red victory!

It was a pleasure to have you join our group - I have never seen RPing quite like Hamish and Fergus! I literally laughed out loud at times. You are a class act and a great NWN player and I look forwards to adventuring with you again! - Darius
01/15/03
A fun, creatively-played character who added a lot to the party. Good combat tactics and teamwork. Hamish was just crazy enough to be fun without being annoying. "Fergus" was inspired.
01/14/03
Great game, very glad you could join. I think the challenge will increase in G2.
01/09/03
great character. As i said before, sign me up lazy- by far as single shot campgains go you got a very admirable talent here as shown with this module. see you next week hal
01/04/03
what a wonderful, and effective druid you play. Rarely do I see one played so well when a player is in the early levels of this class, good job LRP
12/22/02
Mord fight good.
12/03/02
Be warned, Griselda is a heartbreaker, but you're more than welcome to try...
12/02/02
You were great fun in the team challenge, and definitely a good leader!
12/02/02
Exellent Rp skill. Had fun playing with you.
11/27/02
imo a little less insane this round, still a blast to play with tuck
11/20/02
the man is clearly mad methinks. :) interesting character- first insane character ive seen in nwn and higly facinated on how he is being roleplayed, see you next week
11/20/02
Player was an hour late due to ISP problems, so I didn't have time to fully evaluate on all categories, but from what I saw Hamish will make an excellent addition to the campaign. Good RP and great humor; walked the line between getting laughs and groans with skill, and played a "slightly nuts" character well without overdoing it and annoying the other players. Look forward to seeing the character develop in the campaign.
11/18/02
Sorry to be harsh, truly, but not everything RPed was in even this character's rough and tough history. Why would you be with a party of others if you didn't wish to work with them? There has to be some reason that you would join this group other than just money, and if that is all you want, you would have learned to compromise by now and let them lead and you follow quietly until the next adventure when you could get gold. This character seems built more for PWs and the like. Shifts in alignment and just plain cruel rudeness also seemed out of character. Just because your PC led a rough life doesn't necessarily make him a tyrant which is what you played really. Mistreating others does not get, nor deserve anything, yet that is all you demanded. You need to work with the group, still within character mind you, but for the common goal. Please take this to heart with the next group you game with and not take this as meanness.
11/18/02
Player needs some work on RPing ALIGNMENT. Played C.N. character, but came out as N.E.
11/14/02
Very good player!
11/11/02
Mad and great as always.
10/28/02
Great player, very amusing to watch =) You didn't really eat those goblins did you?
10/27/02
"Mad" certainly doesn't do the character justice. Very entertaining companion. Well-played. Too bad he killed our NPC friend, though.
10/25/02
Awesome roleplayer.
10/23/02
Excellent roleplay skill. Though kinda horded treasure. Gold ring but no big deal.
10/23/02
It took a while for the party to gel as a team, and we're not quite there yet. Should improve for the next game.
10/09/02
Mord wsa the life of the party, he shared with us his phoebea which then came to haunt him, all in all he was the player in the game.
10/09/02
Some of it difficult to fill in because of the short time I was in the game
10/08/02
This player definately played his simpleton character. His character was not ment to be a problem solver so I wouldn't take any points off for that
10/08/02
Keep this guy around - he's a good, jovial roughhouser!
10/01/02
Very well done dumb character.
