Thanks for raising the dead party members. Colvin‘s role as reconciler and even temper helps to balance out this party. The subtle tensions between him and Nal create a bubble-like surface tension that holds the party together. With the demons his calmer head prevailed and prevented a bad situation.

From the journal of ‘Amion‘.
This paladin of Cuthbert,.....a likeable sort, but a little too...sheep-like? Why I scarcely see the need for one, let alone three gods. His sense of order is to be much respected, despite his preoccupation with goody-ness.

As always, Colvin is a quite believable, likeable but stern, effective cleric. Several nice roleplaying touches in this session - lots of nice praying and declarations of faith (particularly when confronted by nightmares and wraiths sent by Nerull!).

Colvin always fills the role of counselor-healer - a valuable part in a group that needs a bit of guidance and wisdom.

Colvin is an important part of the group and the group is not as strong without this cahracter. Andy has been with the group from the beginning and fills an important role in the group as a whole. Thanks for sticking with us and staying with us. Things have been getting better with the campaign for the last couple of weeks and the campaign party is really starting to come together with the new characters/players and the original players all sticking with it. Thanks Andy for a great campaign.

Great job with roleplaying the stern cleric of Saint Cuthbert; lack of tolerance for monsters was handled well, and Colvin kept the party together and focused as usual.

Well, you wanted a review, but it‘s hard to review when you leave early. I like playing with Colvin- you are a good roleplayer and Colvin is an interesting character. I can‘t say much good or bad besides this except you really need to start staying for the entire game. The good characteristics you bring to the group are counterbalanced by your not staying for entire games and not being reliable for the campaign.
It‘d help the campaign a lot if you showed up more often to games so we have more continuity. I understand having to go to work early (I also had to the next day) but then either stay for the entire game and go in anyway or don‘t sign up. Often the party starts with enough players and ends up with too few. Positive party dynamics often revolve around the party being together on a regular basis. When a character doesn‘t show up often, it has a negative affect on the rest of the group.
We like playing with Colvin, we just wish he‘d be more reliable for the campaign and stay for entire games.
[Andy's reply to comment: Well, sorry, but I joined with the thinking that "something is better than nothing". I did state on the board prior to game I'd have to leave early, since a 5am wake-up is kind of hard if I play until midnight, as planned. My exit was rather well done, if I must say so myself, and "in character". Role-playing is fun but reality has its way of effecting the amount of time I have to play. I suppose I'll have to try harder next time. ]

Lot of confusion at the start of the game when Colvin rejoined the group...always hard to bring two groups together. After that, Colvin did an excellent job trying to maintain party teamwork and sanity, in keeping with his character. Displayed some empathy for innocent creatures, as well.

Comments in reference to the character Colvin of St. Cuthbert a Human: (Add Comments Here) Colvin is played as a truly Lawful follower of St. Cuthbert. Often trying to lead the party however would create awkward moments because instead of following what the party wants, he'd try to impose his will and choose our path for us. Sometimes people have to loosen up a little and just let gameplay flow intead of trying to
