Comments in reference to the character Whispering Breeze of Silver a Human: Good RP. I‘ll have to see more of Breeze in order to fully make a comment.

Comments in reference to the character Whispering Breeze of Silver a Human: A really good (as in fun to play with) character that was invaluable to the team. Everything was completely in chracter, and seemed to stay in the same personality throughout. Will play with again.

Comments in reference to the character Whispering Breeze of Silver a Human: I thoroughly enjoyed having her as part of the team and appreciated her subtle assistance of a less-experienced player.

Comments in reference to the character Crassus Pleonasmus, Idealistic Farmboy a Human: Crassus makes you want to wring his neck with his righteous behavior and speech. But it‘s hard to wring his neck while you‘re busy laughing at him. Very good characterization!

Comments in reference to the character Whispering Breeze of Silver a Human: (Add Comments Here)Breeze was a typical no nonsense type monk, focused and disciplined, but she did have her moments...like checking other houses to be sure people inside weren‘t hurt and her seeming pure hatred of the goblins (hope i haven‘t confused pc‘s here). overall a welcome party addition.

[Bira's reply to comment: You did confuse things a bit - the one who hated goblins was the ranger. She's more of an undead hunter, which is why she didn't say much this time.

Comments in reference to the character Zoltan Magnus, the Blade of Penultima a Half-Orc: Nice to play with you again. I like how you played your half-orc fighter, not the typical “me smash things!“ brute. I think you portrayed your undercurrent of anger solidly. Hope Ilyra didn‘t annoy Zoltan too much with her chatty/cheerful personality.

Comments in reference to the character Crassus Pleonasmus a Human: (Add Comments Here)Great job as a young, enthusiastic paladin. I particularly enjoyed when his crying ‘No fair!‘ upon being ambushed.
01/27/04
Comments in reference to the character Crassus Pleonasmus a Human: (Add Comments Here) Crassus was often impulsive and leapt into battle without concern for himself. While thrust into the role of leader due primarily to his character class, Crassus did fine with that, despite the presence of other strong willed characters.

Comments in reference to the character Zoltan Magnus, the Blade of Penultima a Half-Orc: (Add Comments Here) Once again, another great role-playing session! Zoltan really came to life, and I think this has a lot to do with not only your incredible role-playing skills, but the presence of other players that are also really skilled. You reacted to situations very believably, and added a lot of personality into this half-orc. I especially liked your resistance to the Regulation, and if not for Ilyra, you seemed, very convincingly, like you might storm off out of the adventure because of your distaste for the Regulation Council. It was also impressive seeing you figure out the puzzle! And then there was Zoltan‘s battle savvy--putting away his axe when being chased by rust monsters. Excellent stuff!

Comments in reference to the character Crassus Pleonasmus a Human: Great game. It was a shame that he fell way more than I would have wanted him to but he has my support 100%.
01/10/04
Comments in reference to the character Zoltan Magnus, the Blade of Penultima a Half-Orc: (Add Comments Here) Zoltan is definitely not the typical half-orc, but you played him in a believable manner. I liked his refusal to appoint a particular leader (an in-character response for someone chaotically aligned), and his annoyance with Lady Maribell was well played out. Your frustration with Maribell‘s memory loss was also well acted, and I must compliment you on your patience to get through that. It‘s unfortunate you had problems near the end of the game with your connection, because it would have been great if you were there for the final battle. Despite the absence of our 3rd player for most of the game, you faired as well as could be expected with the lack of equipment. Once you picked up that armor and morning star, though, you seemed to be doing just fine. Great game, and I hope to see you in future adventures!

Comments in reference to the character Zoltan Magnus, the Blade of Penultima a Half-Orc: Not much to say about this character. A typical Half-Orc who is only interested in hacking and slashing. I was trying to engage him in creative role-playing the whole game, without much success. Overall, not a bad session, but could have tried a bit harder in engagin some conversation.

[Bira's reply to comment: Well, hacking and slashing is what Zoltan is all about. This high-level incarnation of his did so in a more calculating manner than the earlier versions, but that's still pretty much it.

As for the roleplaying part, he didn't talk a whole lot with Lady Maribell because he found her to be an insufferable, conceited shrew after she lost her memory. If I allowed the roleplaying to go all the way, they might as well have traded blows at some point.

Comments in reference to the character Zoltan Magnus, the Blade of Penultima a Half-Orc: (Add Comments Here) Zoltan was a commanding warrior, and certainly did not fit the half-orc barbarian stereotype. He was much more shrewd and calculating, and his behavior far more refined than a typical Outlander. I‘m definitely interested in seeing how this character develops further. He is certainly the kind of warrior any party would be glad to have along, planning his moves and coordinating things with the group, rather than rushing straight for the nearest enemy. I look forward to our final session. Just watch out for those ethereal oozes!

Comments in reference to the character Whispering Breeze of Silver a Human: Breeze was once again a force to be reckoned with. Her knockdown ability was used to maximum effect in our major battles (Falrik always finds it easier to hit a prone enemy ;) She filled the role of leader well, my only suggestion would be to not leave behind members of the group. I admit,I was interested in looting the crypt and finding treasure, that was my motivation for going on this adventure but it might‘ve been more fun to role-play her frustration with him then to simply leave him behind (I did not go out of my way to hold us up, I was trying to pick up the treasure you guys left behind after the battles). All in all a great adventure, and I hope to play with you again in the future.

Comments in reference to the character Whispering Breeze of Silver a Human: (Add Comments Here) Breeze was a very strong and charismatic leader throughout the entire campaign. She kept the group from quarrels, made sure everyone had their say in the decision making process, and initiated dialogue with others often. Breeze was the glue that kept this team together and helped them operate so effectively. Poor Breeze, though--this last session was a tough one on her. She was the first to trigger the mummies, only to turn around and find out the iron doors had shut behind her, trapping her inside with the mummies while her friends tried desparately to bash down the doors. I was very impressed that you managed to survive that encounter, but it sure was close! And when you caught fire from the fire bats--that was just hilarious because I could clearly see the panic as you tried to figure out how to put out the flames (I‘m sorry the script was on a timer. I really should‘ve figured out a good way to let you all know so you didn‘t burn up all your healing kits). Then, when you finally confronted Mala and kept shouting not to kill her, trying to restrain Falrik and his fury...there were just so many great moments throughout the campaign! I was sad that this adventure finally had to end, but I do hope to see you online again soon!

Comments in reference to the character Whispering Breeze of Silver a Human: Very well done. It enjoyed getting to play with Breeze. She was role-played well. I could always count on her actions to be in character which was refreshing. I do hope that we get to play together again in the future.
12/15/03
Comments in reference to the character Zoltan Magnus a Half-Orc: (Add Comments Here)I really liked Zoltan! He wasn‘t the typical idiot half-orc I‘ve seen people play but was instead played with a lot of character and displayed some background development as well. The mention of the cows the tribe worshipped and incidents involving the tribe really added to who Zoltan was. This was a half-orc with depth, and although the English was stilted somewhat for that half-orc effect, he never came across as ridiculously stupid. A lot of fun to play with, and some classic comments in addition to great interaction and cooperation with the other party members. I liked the creativity as well, such as the instance where both of the ladies were shot by the wisplings right in front of the gate, so Zoltan suggested that he pulled them over quickly out of range and then healed them. The added Zzzzz‘s when you responded to the Jackalwere‘s gaze were a nice touch, as were a number of other incidents. I really hope to game with you again soon--it was a great session!
12/15/03
Comments in reference to the character Zoltan Magnus a Half-Orc: Possibly the best half-orc-barbarian ‘archtype‘ I‘ve seen played yet, perhaps with the exception of.. hmm.. forgot who it was. hell, maybe it was you! Very very nice. not stupid, but .. simple. strong but merciful. Too bad it‘s not a campagin so I couldn‘t really learn much about the character and his belifs, though I‘d like to.

Comments in reference to the character Whispering Breeze of Silver a Human: (Add Comments Here) Breeze developed even more into a leader and a deeper character this last session as she kept order in the group despite the cutting remarks of the ranger, Steif. Breeze handled herself well and commanded respect and obedience. I especially liked her role playing out the removal of the howler quills, and I was impressed with the efforts she put forth in being responsible for the group and the decisions they made. The kind of leadership that has emerged in Breeze is something that indicates a tremendous inner strength, a strength that a monk should definitely have. Little role playing additives like the whimper when frozen with fear by the breathdrinker‘s eyes really made Breeze more believable and interesting. I look forward to our finale on Monday!

Comments in reference to the character Whispering Breeze of Silver a Human: My third session with Whispering Breeze was the best. I really learned more about her tonight. She was role-played quite well. You seemed to give things the extra thought of how she would react (like the reaction to the looting of the coffins, etc..) I am looking forward to playing with her again. Now if only I could get her to walk slower :) I have to run every so often to keep up :)
12/11/03
Comments in reference to the character Whispering Breeze of Silver a Human: Breeze continues to be the moral leader of the group (she was the one who spoke up when Falrik suggested eliminating the strange ranger), even as she graciously surrendered the role of expedition leader to Darrus, as he attempted to lead the group through the woods. Although perhaps even now she is rethinking both those decisions...

Comments in reference to the character Whispering Breeze of Silver a Human: (Add Comments Here) You did an excellent job at being the party leader again, and even though you didn‘t lead them literally through the wilderness as the ranger did, you delegated roles and put things up for group decision as a good leader would. Great job at facillitating, and thank you for mentioning the game rules again when they were slightly strayed from. Breeze fought well in battle, and was inspirational to the team. Your attempts to quell the tension between the two rangers was very in character for a monk, and your comments to Steif‘s flirting and negativity were great. I really like this monk!

Comments in reference to the character Whispering Breeze of Silver a Human: I had enjoyed our first adventure together. You took on sort of the leader roll and ran with it for that I gave you the BiG. In a party of four it‘s important to have a leader and you filled the role nicely. I look forward to seeing how you develop your character further and give us a view into her personality...

Comments in reference to the character Whispering Breeze of Silver a Human: (Add Comments Here) I really liked this monk, and you did a great job of taking on the role as leader. You made sure everyone was up to date on information, posed thoughtful questions, and conferred with the group in all decision making. Excellent direction--you really kept things moving and on task. I liked this character a lot, too, and her responses to the guards (especially the one hitting on her) were great. Nicely fought battles, as well, and your assistance with healing was appreciated. I‘m really looking forward to next session, and I‘m glad to have you with the group!

Comments in reference to the character Crassus Pleonasmus, Idealistic Farmboy a Human: Great job. I thought you played a well thought out character that was basicly the moral conscience of the party.
12/01/03
good game, it‘s always good to have a well roleplayed paladin on our side.

Comments in reference to the character Whispering Breeze of Silver a Human: You switched out characters and played the half-orc “Terrible Fist of Grog” who was great. I appreciated your effort to role-play in all of your actions walking conversations and not being afraid to make excellent use of emotes, well done hopefully we can play again sometime.

A late character change required by th enature of the plot didn't disrupt the player even if the character required was different.

Character Played: Zoltan Magnus (Half-Orc): ------------------------- Great job. Always in character. Tough playing a stupid half-orc in a riddle type game but did an awesome job of using simple common sense to give opinions without acting above his intelligence
05/01/03
Character Played: Zoltan Magnus (Half-Orc): ------------------------- A well-played character, whose contributions went beyond just smashing things. Offered excellent advice on the sarcophagus puzzle, which the players ignored to their peril ;).

Character Played: Zoltan Magnus (Half-Orc): ------------------------- Nice to play with Bira again. Great roleplaying, both in-game and in the forum. Tough mod for a dumb half-orc though, with lots of puzzles. Overall, though, I think perhaps Zoltan came off a little smarter than he should have, like noticing the mathematical calculation error in the book. Just a thought. Good game! - Gruush

Character Played: Fleet-Footed Iron Monkey (Human): ------------------------- Iron monkey came late to the game I dont know if he was a fill in or what. If he played from the begining he would have been in a contest for best player. He was always in charter and played his align well. His roleplay was supurb one of the best i've seen. Not that i've seen that much consideing i've only been playing for a few weeks. He did a real nice job in the game and stayed in charter the whole time. Good job monkey. I hope I have the privlage to play with you again. <(ZEDBOR)>

03/13/03
Character Played: Crassus Pleonasmus (Human):

Great playing with you. I think the highest compliment I can give you, is that you made playing a paladin look fun. Seems so redundant to say it, but you did cool character work, and smote those unholy abominations with the righteous fury of justice. Oh, and then you killed them. See you around, I certainly hope.
03/12/03
Character Played: Crassus Pleonasmus (Human): ------------------------- So sad to part ways with Crassus. Tried hard to fit in as many pleonasms as possible in our last session. (^_-) Gruush and Crassus made a stalwart pair of front-line fighters, it was truly a pleasure. Bira is a top-rate role-player!
03/11/03
Character Played: Crassus Pleonasmus (Human): ------------------------- Nicely done! I wish you the best in your journeys here on NWC and irl as well! :)
03/06/03
Character Played: Zoltan Magnus (Half-Orc): -------------------------Well my fellow Orc extraordinaire....what a team we make! What fun that game was. Sorry about the lag problems....I know that can really put a damper on the fun. But let me tell you that brawl at the end sure made up for any shortcomings in that session as far as I was concerned! -Theb

Character Played: Zoltan Magnus (Half-Orc): ------------------------- As I've said in the other reviews, all three of you are just awesome. This episode of play with the group stands out as by far the most fun I've had, taking nothing away from the Mod or our illustrious DM, it's really the players giving this group it's zing, and that of course includes you, good Zoltan. Your interactions with Thebudunk are amusing and believable, and in fact he owes you a lot as a good straight man :) Thanks for a great time, and looking forward to more when Mindtakerr returns! - Milo

Character Played: Zoltan Magnus (Half-Orc): ------------------------- I thoroughly enjoyed watching a party with 2 half-orcs. Although it was difficult to choose a best player in the game with all the good players, I selected Zoltan because of his great conduct at all times and his general willingness to get the party headed in the right direction.

Character Played: Crassus Pleonasmus ------------------------- Crassus was pretty quiet tonight, people have stopped razzing him about the farm boy thing so much. Meanwhile, he probably set himself up for future razzing by mistyping "Purple" as "Purble". (^_-) Still, nice to have another strong arm to help handle all of those minogons.

Character: Crassus "Farmboy" Pleonasmus(Human Stormtrooper of Truth, Justice and Endearingly Dumb Battle Cries):

The simple enthusiasm of this character works very well, I think. Also, he picked the right time to get back with the group... what with all the undead, it was great to have someone else around for Turning, Healing and Disease Curing. (Not to mention the Smiting and/or Killing!)

Best Line in Game Award for his... understanding of spellcasting:
"I figure that if I think too much about it, it'll go away."

Amazing job again this week, especially when the farmboy started trying to break up my barfights.
12/17/02
Good ole Farmboy, think he gets a bit funnier each week. Well done.
12/10/02
Great job once again. That farmboy is starting to come to life.
12/08/02
Nicely done. Plays a paladin well, and did a fine job as party leader. I hope to play with him again soon.
12/08/02
I know what a challenge it is to play the leader and role-play well, especially in a large group. You did both extremely well. I was very impressed.. Good Show! (Xano)
12/07/02
Great job leading the group and keeping us all on task
12/07/02
Good job playing the paladin and leader of the group. Keeping such a large group together and working was a challenge. Keep it up!
12/05/02
Great game! I loved how you gave up the extra gold to the old man. Too bad he was secretly trying to steal your money for his own good. =) Even with the bad connection troubles I still voted you the best in the game. For that act, and many others. I hope you find much fun in other games. Cowman109
12/04/02
You managed to make a paladin fun to group with. Well done.
12/02/02
Not much for problem solving or lots of communication but definately in character!
12/01/02
A tough class to play, but you are putting more effort into exerting yourself more then most. The confrontations between him and the other classes will be interesting, as they have been so far. I can't wait to see more of the "holier then thou" syndrome, it will be an excellent contrast.
11/30/02
Crassus wish you had been on right from the start, when making a decision about the group leader, as think this would be a good spot for you and will hope for as much next game, sorry you had to leave early--LRP
11/30/02
Great role-playing, even better problem solver. I had a fun playing with you and hope you return next week. Excellent job overall. (Xano)
11/25/02
Easy going player with a lot of experience, and not afraid of a fight. Paladins tend to be a little more brash, and are not afraid to challenge any other player regarding what they think is right and wrong...a Paladin is not a "live and let live" type, but one with often annoying openness, ensuring all players are above board. With a tad more roleplay forcefulness for what is "right", this will be an outstanding player. A perfect role for the paladin is making sure all players are listened to if a leader is being dismissive or forceful...even if the paladin insists on being heard first.
