Reviews To Date for Jindar
08/28/03
Violet Shadow (Half-Elf):

Violet is a very finely portrayed character. Her amusement with Aidan is obvious. Her every emoted thought is about him, her every action is for him, and 80% of her spoken lines are to him or about him.

She seems to notice there are three other people in the group, but has little time or inclination to interact with any of them. She has time to emote beautiful prose about him, but seems somewhat unaware that they are on an adventure. She‘s usually engaged in a long romantic discussion when the fighting breaks out, and has to rush up from the rear of the group.

But boy do you do romance well. Well Done!

Comments in reference to the character Violet Shadow a Half-Elf: Such a wonderful fighter! Aidan is honored to fight next to her. And now a heroine to Aidan as she resurrects him. And poor girl as she tries to figure out what in the world is wrong with this strange man. What is going on in his head...or his heart? And does she want to care? ;) Each episode brings a new confusing development. :)

Violet Shadow (Half-Elf):

Violet... another stunning Jindar creation. She has confidence, yet comes across as... soft. She has no lack of charm, and her past is a great source of information, when she deigns to share a tidbit or two.... I can‘t wait to see more of her. Great Char, Great Player, Great Game! (J)

Comments in reference to the character Violet Shadow a Half-Elf: (Add Comments Here)well..sure of a sweeter disposition and well played and emoted, it‘s rather amazing how quickly she hit it off with the paladin for sure...and looking forward to seeing how she impacts with the rest of the party though how she got the idea of the cleric as a womanizer lol I don‘t know...he was at the inn buying shares in sweetfield and gathering quests and keys *laughs* LRP

Comments in reference to the character Violet Shadow a Half-Elf: Violet, what a lovely creature. Loved how she kept referring to people obviously older than she as young ones. :) She kept me laughing. Great job!

Ryn Karma (Half Elf):

It was a real treat for me to spend so much time with Ryn this session. She has a wonderfully dry wit, and a mischevious but reserved attitude towards everything. Exploring the unopened tavern was fun, and sneaking into the locked areas of the inn was a blast. But my favorite part of my time with Ryn was the slow and reserved way she slowly opened up, and shared a bit about her past. Never mind it is a wonderfully conceived past, full of well thought out detail, but Ryn didn't just give a monologue to share it.. she drew small comparisons between our situation and her past, dropped hints and teases, and only gave up a little bit more each time Vance tried to follow up with her on a detail.

Great RP, Great Game! (J)

Ryn Karma (Half Elf):

The enigmatic Ryn, quiet and sarcastic monk. She seems to watch the group from the edges, like when she stood nearby as they interviewed the dragon and knight. She has a quick wit, and a straightforward charm. I really enjoyed the little sidetrip to investigate the altar. It was so much fun talking with her, and finding out they had more in common than either suspected. I'm looking forward to interacting with her, and learning more. Great Game! (J)

Ryn Karma (Half Elf):
Ryn is really something... I like how she'll subtly drop hints about her past, then quickly change the subject. Her competitiveness with Shylah, amusement with Frynn, annoyance at Jarric, and acceptance of Vance are all very different emotions played seamlessly. Great Game! (J)

Comments in reference to the character Ryn Karma a Half Elf: (Add Comments Here) Well tis interesting watching Ryn with Vance, and all of us actually. Reckon maybe Vance can soften that heart of yours eventually, hopefully. What he fails to do, mayhap this young lass's venturing forth into the world, that in and of itself will work some magic on ye as well. For now Jarric has mainly opted to ignore the angry lass's outburts well knowing that tis a wounded heart that makes her so, *nods* he does having had and maybe still having in great measure the same anger, understands what pain so drives that. good game Jindar! LRP

Comments in reference to the character Ryn Karma a Half Elf: Very interesting to see all the different facets of Ryn. She seems to be opening up (a lot) to Vance ;) and at the same time very surprised that Shylah pays any attention to her. Her hostility toward Jarric is quite amusing as he doesn't even seem to notice half the time. ;)

Ryn Karma (Half Elf):
Ryn is a really neat char, Jindar. I love how she is a bit edgy, and not afraid to let her feelings be known, even when they are not what the party would like to hear. Vance and Ryn really seem to be hitting it off well, be fun to see where that leads.... *winks* Great Game! (J)

Comments in reference to the character Ryn Karma a Half Elf: Such a great game! Ryn's flirting with Vance was quite amusing as she realizes not everyone is out to get her...or ignore her. Seeing another path through the cave, she gets frustrated when no one seems to be paying any attention to her. I look forward to seeing more of what comes of the last

Comments in reference to the character Ryn Karma a Half Elf:
Fabulous job as the quiet, introspective monk. There is a lot going on just under the surface, and I can't wait to learn more about her. Nice chatting with Vance, too -- good catch of the coin! Great Game! (J)

Comments in reference to the character Ryn Karma a Half Elf: You did a wonderful job playing this female!! I look forward to seeing more of her character development as we continue. Her impatience at not going anywhere as we were standing about the inn and her talking to the trees was very in character and quite amusing! Well done!

Comments in reference to the character Ryn Karma a Half Elf: (Add Comments Here)As I told Jen we're all so different but noticed one carry over from Jindar to Ryn and that was the philosophical and introspective bent of both of them and their keen observations of the world around them and the equally profound conclusions they draw from that. Ahh but what makes Ryn such an angry young woman eh? And in the end how will she change and grow. Ahh the old bard, and he is middle age and carries much baggage with him. Have patience with a drunk old fool! gg Jindar, you played her so very well! LRP

Comments in reference to the character Jindar a Elf:
Jindar was his usual fantastic self. His long discussions with Jered, his curiousity about the journals we found, and the skull, and the nature of things... And of course, his concern for poor Celia and her fascination with magic. *smiles* Great Game! (J)
06/20/03
Comments in reference to the character Jindar a Elf: Are Earebrien and Jindar doomed to fail at keeping Celia out of Mystriel's chaotic hands? ;) They try and try, but she comes up with an argument Jindar cannot refute...what is to happen? :) Great game again! Trying to keep an eye on Mystriel and Celia while worrying about Earebrien. So much to worry about, such a good friend. :)

Comments in reference to the character Jindar a Elf: (Add Comments Here)You seemed to be more focused on problem solving this week as we tried to finish out this chapter. Darn it! I was enjoying listening to all of ye when Quincel decided to bolt and that was the end of that eh? I also noticed the rp of you and Eare in your concerns of Mysteriel to and her magic. Remi takes a dim view of magic, he understands it not, but is crazy about Mystriel. Hence yours and Eare's excellent rp there, reall sent a chill down Remi's back *frowns worried for Mysteriel* and listens closely to what Eare and Jindar say there cause they seem to know more about it--gg Jindar! I like your intellectual apporach to things. LRP

Comments in reference to the character Jindar a Elf:
Jindar's RP is wonderful, as always. Very intricate, very well done. I wish we could have RPd more, but Earebrien seemed to have captured all of Jindar's attention recently *giggles* Great Game (J)

Comments in reference to the character Jindar a Elf: (Add Comments Here) Well *sighs* I know Remi is so different from Jindar, eh? Remi is so devoted to Jindar, his friend, he just hopes Jindar can understand that in simple Remi beats the heart of a warrior and he stands before that man, wants to test his mettle, not only the blade but the challenge. I loved how Jindar stands in contrast to Remi as a seeker of peaceful solutions! Well in that way he remains true to his calling as a cleric and his personality as well! Good game there! I like that! And thanks for noticing how Remi stands watch! Our evil minded dm's would pop us one from behind for not doing that eh? LRP

Comments in reference to the character Jindar a Elf: Wonderful game. Your little jokes were well-timed and quite amusing. You always get a little jibe in at Remi. ;) Your concern with Celia and her interest in magic is so endearing. He and Earebrien have to come up with a way to distract her. Beautifully played game, as usual.

Jindar was his usual self. That is to say, interesting, friendly, witty, charming, caring and exactly the sort you want around. Great RP with Eare over your mishap, and the consequences to her. And nicely done at the campfire with the 'trout' *laughs* Great Game (J)
06/07/03
Awwww... you and the lady with the Really Big Sword... such a cute couple.

Nice new armor, eh? Just remember the penalty for resurrection #2... ;)

(Oh, and keep giving Mystriel heck over her borderline ways.)

Character Played: Jindar (Elf): -------------------------Jidar! Man of many hats!! Something happened to Earle there!! There was that, the gentle teasing with Remi!! Oh LOL that was so much fun!! Ohh ermm maybe Jinar can give me some pointers on how to court Mystriel, I love it, I love Jindar as a friend. I so want to here what happened and how his armor became useful to him yet again. I think that has got to be such an interesting story! I hate it when I come in so late, cause I missed so much, tis such a heavy rp group that way. Way I see it is that Jinar is becoming more subtle and complex each game, and well has his own splendid relationship with all of us!! He's a great cleric that way! LRP

Character Played: Jindar (Elf): ------------------------- Even with trouble with your computer you played a beautiful game! Your REAL ;)reaction to Earebrien's kiss was well played! When she was losing it, your concern over her while still trying to care for the rest of the group was wonderful. So caring and gentle. Your little jokes about Remi were well-timed and quite amusing. Well done!!

Character Played: Jindar (Elf): -------------------------
Jindar, this quieter side of you, absorbed into the books when surrounded by such strange magics, was a new facet to a wonderfully portrayed char. Jindar's everwatchful eye and conspiratorial grin is a highlight of each game *giggles* Great Game! (J)

Character Played: Jindar (Elf): -------------------------Jinadar Remi is gonna be so happy when your dad finally gets that armor of yours updated and you can don it once again!! I just know that it has to be so hard for ye not wearin' it all the time! Having to let the practical overrule the heart here. In rl suffer from twin condition of chronic fatigue syndrom-neurofibromyalgia that leaves me weak, tired and in loads of pain, and both are particularly bad for more than a week now. Please know how delightful the group is and what a balm it is to be able to meet with all of you once a week. LRP

Jindar was very impressive this time. Recovering from his death, he instantly sought out Earebrien. *grins* But rather than dwell on himself, he quickly accepted responsibility for it, not letting Remington blame himself for not protecting Jindar. And he saw the tension between Earebrien and Celia, and went out of his way to see that it got resolved *winks* Oh, and the tender moment with Earebrien... *sigh* What we all do without you? Great Game (J)
05/16/03
Character Played: Jindar (Elf): -------------------------Jindar, I know how hard it was to put away your dad's old armor and put on the other. Remi has an idear, not that he gets all that many, member those mages we talked to afore coming in there? Mayhap they can put an enchantment on your Daddy's old gear? I know we haven't got a lot of money? Mebbe Remi can strike up a deal to ermm model somethin' of theirs? hand out their business cards or somethin?! Til then know Remmie wil carry whatever ye have ned of, and ohh knew ye was haven' Remmi watch ye so Eare had a bit of time with Celie *grins* good job all the way around there!! LRP
05/16/03
Character Played: Jindar (Elf): ------------------------- Just amazing!!! You blew me away. Distracting Remi as Earebrien apologized to Celia was brilliant! The kiss on Earebrien's cheek shocked her and was perfectly timed as she was just starting to think he didn't care. The concern about her relationship with Celia was wonderful and not overbearing, as it could have been. Bravo!

Jindar, it's always a delight to play with the gentle cleric. I enjoy the special and unique relationships you have with everyone in the party - intellectual with Mystriel, protective with Celia, buddy with Remington, and tender with Earebrien. *lol* Oh, and don't forget helpful with our orc friend you assisted and protected! I hope we can put you back together in time. Celia is crushed that her suggestion has led to this tragedy... Great Game! (J)

Character Played: Jindar (Elf): -------------------------*sighs* ghost Jindar. Tried to pull off that chieftan when he ran the other way but could not get Remi to disengage and while Earle and Remi are built to withstand blows am so aware the others of ye are not. I agree that IC would not want to see Jindar abandon his armor, how could he, so mayhap work with Stick on an upgrade. Play a cleric so much and tis playing this class more than any other that I also die. See if ye can get armor upgrade that gets your AC to 20 and then paramount importance, get soak damage built in the upgrade. It's the single most important thing, more so than AC even. Healing spells are cast as a hands on spell bringing you into contact with the enemy while healing another and opens you to Attack of Opportunity damage, while you are defenseless. The soak damage is the single most helpful feature. I am so sorry was not able to disengage from that chieftan, I really feel badly about Jindar's death. LRP

Jindar, again I must say I'm impressed. Your discussions with Mystriel were detailed and complex on the matters of necromancers and magic, with Remi you spoke of the undead and of lighter things, and you watched over poor Celia with such tenderness and care. Three or more aspects of the same char, all so very well played. And hopefully the fourth will be back next week ;) Great Game (J)

Character Played: Jindar (Elf): -------------------------Oh gosh I know you missed Earle but I got such a wonderful chance to rp with you last night, intensely. And intense it was!! What a great job you did with letting out some of Jindar's past and tying it in realistically and appropriately into who Jindar is now. Forgive me in my love of rp goodness some of it was well say at the portal exit, but Jindar's tale was so riveting. And so moved was Remi he just had to at least try to talk Mystriel out of that blasted spell, to try to get her to sell it while at the same time not revealing to much of what Jindar had to say, even though the more wise Jindar knew that chances were not good for that. Remi feels close and bonded to Jindar, especially after last night, like a very close brother that one has, with whom they are also friends. Thank you for such a wonderful game and the chance to really know and strengthen Remi's ties to Jindar! LRP
